The studio is compact but well appointed and comfortable with everything you could need. Being over the water is a lovely, tranquil experience and the views delightful. It is a very relaxing place to stay. This was our second stay and it was as good as the first. We will no doubt be back again in the future.

We had a very nice stay here. The studio we stayed in was facing the water and it was nice to spend some time on the verandah watching boats go by. The room was clean, had everything we needed and the area was quiet so we managed to relax and sleep well.

This was a great little place to stay, right on the water, plenty of parking space. Well suited for couples, but my daughter and I stayed in the family cabin which has a double bed and double sofa bed. Really nice little place, can wander onto the wharf and sit on the bench at the end to watch sunset. Host was very helpful and friendly.

We loved our couple of nights and will definitely look to return. Staying in the studio was like staying on a boat but without the rocking. Very private and relaxing with very friendly and helpful hosts.

hese studios are a hidden gem in a beautiful town of Goolwa. We stayed in Studio No 2, which is located right over water in an incredibly romantic setting. With peaceful river views and lovely sunsets we had little desire to leave the studio. And there was no need to go out in the evening because everything was there, a well-equipped kitchenette and a bottle of champagne thoughtfully left for us by our kind hosts.
The room was tastefully decorated and our bed was comfortable. It was like sleeping on a luxury boat without the motion sickness.
The bathroom was spacious and modern with a great shower.
In Boat Heaven studio we felt as on a mini honeymoon.
We hope to return to this magic place someday.

Lovely and unique, right on the water. Well equipped and loved watching the seals!

Loved how close to the water it is and very peaceful at night. Can lie in bed and look at the boats, birds and water. Very comfortable amenities, well equipped. On the downside the toilet door needs a shove with your hip to open it and one bedside lamp didn’t work. I also noticed the windows don’t have screens on them, so hot weather might mean mosquitoes.

Everything about the property was great starting with the interaction with the owners who were so obliging and very pleasant to the actual accommodation which had everything you could want to the undercover alfresco which had lovely views of the river. Everything was presented in a very tasteful manner. Thoroughly recommend it!!

Fabulous place to stay
We couldn't have been happier with our stay. We were in studio 2, which had an incredible view across the little marina and river. So quiet at night, just the sound of water lapping gently beneath the studio. Like being in a boathouse, albeit a luxuriously equipped one. Loved the high ceilings, the airy feel and the little treats thoughtfully provided by the hosts. Looking forward to staying again some day.

Excellent location on the river. If you love the sound of water lapping on the sides of a boat then Studio 1 is definitely for you. What a pleasant way to be lulled to sleep. Good kitchen amenities are provided, including a BBQ, as well as names of local restaurants.
A couple of points to note are that the studio and bathroom are both small, so not a lot of room for storing bags; and some of the usual bathroom amenities weren't provided, e.g. shower gel/soap or tissues.

Wonderful stay on the river
Our 2 night stay at Boat Haven Studios was fabulous. We stayed in unit 2 and the views of the river were wonderful, we felt as though we were on the river. The unit itself was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower and also good heating. We were greeted by the owner who was very informative and friendly. Another very nice touch was a bottle of sparkling wine which we enjoyed. Overall it was a great stay in a very peaceful environment
