Pan Pacific hotel was convenient for getting on our scheduled cruise. It was very pricey for what we got. Shower was nice with the rain like sprinkler head, but to get hot water was a chore, therefore, it was a luke warm shower. For the price I paid for 2 rooms, it should've included dinner. The breakfast buffet was very nice.

This hotel has spacious rooms with amazing views, and is in the same building as the Cruise terminal. You can have the bell staff take your luggage directly to your ship for a reasonable tip. We are very happy with our stay.
My one quibble is that it took them about 30 minutes to check us in. I am not sure what the hold up was.

My husband and I stayed the night before our cruise. It was an extremely wise choice. We arrived before check in so they held our suitcases till the room was ready. They delivered them just as we stepped inside, no calling to deliver room number. We walked the pier and then over to the steakhouse opposite the hotel. Excellent meal there. The next morning the hotel bell staff delivered all our bags to the ship for us. Best service ever!!!! Then we ate and spent time at the pool before embarking on Virgin Voyage’s Brilliant Lady.

Beautiful room and I brought my Doberman. Staff were incredible. Reason for the 3 stars is 1. Near to no green space for doggo bathroom breaks 2. Facility is difficult to navigate if you're not familiar 3. Noise! Wow, Oceanfront rooms (an upgrade) are ridiculously noisy (harbour and sea planes). I will stick with the Pacific Rim moving forward.

This is the first time in years, that a hotel was in real life as advertised in the photos. Beautiful hotel, helpful and accommodating staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Vancouver, BC. The heated pool and hot tub in the 8th floor was the best part, and even on cloudy and rainy days had an amazing harbor view. Looking forward to staying here again in the near future!

We only stayed one night to board our cruise the next day. We would stay here again if we come back and visit Vancouver.

A great place to stay if you are taking a cruise. On arrival, we were met by a concierge who unloaded our bags onto a cart. He gave us a card with a number to call once we arrived in our room. I called the number and our bags were delivered within ten minutes. I booked a premium suite with a harbor view, and the room was very spacious and clean. On checking out, we called the same number, and a porter arrived to take our bags and take them directly to the cruise terminal for processing. We did not have to handle them at all and were delivered to our suite on board.
The only drawback was that I did not book the room with breakfast included, They have a very good buffet with no fake food (i.e. eggs) but all fresh with a wide variety of items. price of the buffet was 44CDN or about 35USD. You do have to option of ordering from the menu but can add up to more than the 44CDN.
All-in-all, I recommend this hotel even though a litlle pricey.

We booked a room overlooking the harbor and the view was amazing. Cocktails at the lounge was also really nice. The room however was dated and needs to be redone. Cracked sink, yellowing phone beside the toilet, lots of blemishes and repairs that show years of wear. There was little to no soundproofing between the rooms and our neighbor (who may have been bigfoot) decided that 4am was time for everyone to wake up. Hotel staff made a lot of noise outside erecting a metal framed event tent until midnight. The second night they made the same amount of noise until midnight taking it down again. I don't think they were trying to be loud but you can only be so quiet piling metal tubing in the middle of the night outside of the guest rooms. The gym is located in a ridiculous space way out of the way on a cause way travelled by every single cruise ship passenger disembarking from their voyage. I was yelled at by parking staff for walking up the vehicle ramp to get back to the lobby just to avoid standing in the longest lineup ever for the elevator/stair access. The biggest issue however was the worn out bed mattress... terrible sleep and felt sore each morning. I can overlook most things if bedding is quality. For the price of the room I wouldn't stay here again, despite the view.

There were two complimentary bottles of water provided. The staff was busy, but still extremely patient and helpful.
There was a short walkway that went inside the building, under the street to a food court. There were a lot ofnasian options, but also a McDonalds, Subway, and another burger place. Another very short walk outside gets you to a Tim Hortons. The service was quite slow, especially at the Subway and the Tim Hortons. But, the prices were very reasonable.
We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel. It was worth only a few dollars more than the sky train. It was closer to the flight arrivals, very easy to accommodate our luggage, they charge a flat rate (that is regulated by the government), and dropped us off at the front door of the Pan Pacific.
If you do take the Sky Train there from the airport, there is an underground walkway, that goes past the food court, that takes you up to the hotel lobby. This would really be helpful in bad weather.
Again, the location and the helpfulness of the staff made the higher priced stay worth every penny. If you are going on a cruise, don't even look elsewhere. This is the place to stay.

Our room was only set up for 2 people and we had 4 people staying in a Harbour view room with a designated sitting area that had only 1 chair! We paid a lot of money to stay there and felt it was not worth the money we paid. Room was very dated and did not even have a small microwave and there was no designated area for the kettle and coffee maker and the cords did not reach so we had to plug them in on the floor!

The room was great and the view from the room was FABULOUS! The room was perfectly appointed. The linens were perfection. Dinner at Five Sails was a lovely short walk and OUTSTANDING! The shops were great downstairs near reception! I picked so many items- too original and perfect to have to choose or pass-up. The valets/doormen were soooo very nice!!! We had a wonderful stay at the Pan Pacific Vancouver before our Alaska cruise. The location simply could not be better for cruisers — the cruise terminal is literally downstairs, making embarkation day incredibly easy and stress-free. The location is the best thing going for this hotel. The food at the bar was just ok. Was not impressed and the service was slow. The rooms are dark and outdated. They really need an upgrade. The staff we dealt with were great though and very friendly and helpful.

For a very expensive hotel, it was disappointing. There seemed to be a shortage of staff at reception. The room was pleasant enough but the platform for the bed was wider than the mattress and, as a result, I badly bruised my shin. The bed itself was comfortable, but the pillow were too hard and too thick for comfort.

Good breakfast. The server, Harry was excellent. The person who checked us in Onsmin also very hospitable friendly warm. Also William at checkout very hospitable and the Bellman were also very helpful very friendly smiling. The one slight negative was the Walter thin and we could hear our neighbors. Great location good amenities. It was our 43rd wedding anniversary and the hotel did some special things for that occasion. We will definitely stay here again.

This visit was before going on a cruise. The Door staff did an amazing job taking care of our luggage and getting it to the cruise so we didnt have to worry about it at all. Front desk staff was great when we were finally served. There was several staff doing other things but only one helping customers. Our room had a beautiful view but not very good seating to enjoy it. There was a big desk in our room that looked like it was just put there as storage. It had charging station but was not plugged in, there was a lamp next to in not plugged in and both would not reach the plug. Would have been much nicer to have a small couch or extra chair. The room also smelled of smoke. Bed and pillows comfortable. For the price range I did expect a little more.

Grossly overpriced. Nice to have help getting to the cruise ship terminal during a marathon. Especially taking the luggage to the ship. The staff are underpaid and silently protesting. One person had been there over 30 years without a raise. For the price per night the staff should be compensated.

This is the perfect hotel to stay pre-or post cruise when you are in Vancouver. The area is wonderful with many great restaurants.The views are wonderful with the float planes and the ferries and the ships. The staff at the hotel are excellent. The rooms are beautiful.
