Wonderful gem in a cozy location next to the sea

We were greeted with a very warm and inviting welcome. Our room had a great balcony with views of the ocean. Easy parking and the hotel itself was impeccable (clean, modern, and comfortable) The hotel is in an excellent location and steps away from a great littl uncrowdwed pebble beach. But what made our stay more special was the staff, Anna especially who was thoughtful, friendly and always with a smile. What an excellent way to be greeted and also bid a fond farewell by someone who genuinely cares about their guest! We will be back again next time we are in the area.

Friendly modern basic hotel

Staff very friendly and helpful and really made our stay enjoyable. Only too happy to tell you how to get around etc. Restaurant attached to hotel not so great. Not much selection at breakfast cereal wise. Tablecloths usually dirty and often just turned over. Food was alright but twice I had pork which was very dry and tough. Beds comfortable and views from balcony nice. Shower head blocked up and water that did come out felt like needles. Cleaners let the place down. Only once hoovered rooms in suite despite crumbs on floor. Didn't always remove dirty cups or glasses. Nice quiet location and quick access to stony beach. Took us 40 mins to walk to town of Omis (2.8 km) which is small but lovely.

Great staff. Many of the sea view room are partially blocked views. We were unhappy with the view from our first room, so they let us change rooms. That view was much better. The location is beautiful. Very hard to find. Don't use the address on Google maps. Use a dropped pin instead.

Quiet and plain hotel set back from the beach

Quiet and plain hotel, very clean and very modern but lacks character and atmosphere. A nice one night stay here but would not stay longer. Sea view room has a building in front blocking most of the view so can only see small elements of the sea. Difficult to get to other areas without a car. Quiet beach within 10 mins walk.

Overall we had a fantastic stay at Villa Miramar, the staff were always friendly when you walked through the main lobby and the hotel was spotlessly cleaned every day. The only complaint would be the steepness of the surrounding hills which obviously is something of nature and out of the hotels capabilities of changing, but it was always a great work out to get up and down from the beach. The food was great and we would highly recommend eating at the hotels restaurant if you can't think of anywhere else to go. One other thing, we stayed on the first floor of the hotel which is advertised as sea view when in fact we only had a partial sea view because of the building in front obstructing the view, maybe this should be put into the room description for these rooms when placing a book. Again, overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here.

Great value and a breathtaking view.

Definately one of my best stays at the Croatian shore. Clean and well furbished room with a jaw dropping view over the ocean and the private beach below. I even had a small balcony where I could sit in the evenings and watch the sunset. There is a garage under the hotel which always stays cool and is a fantastic option to keep the car. Need something from the car? Just hop on the elevator and you are down there in seconds. (Mind that the garage fee is 10 Euro per day. I cannot commend on the breakfest since I never had one but the staff was very helpful and I would definately recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, very quiet location.

We stayed for the last four days of the season. Very quiet, we booked half board and were the only people eating in the evening. Our meals we adequate. Both our cooked breakfast and dinner were served up barely warm.
As soon as your evening meal was over, the bar was closed and the staff left.

50 yards from the beach, which is perfect for the times you want to relax. However it's very quiet so not as perfect if you want buzzing nightlife! Ideal getaway type holiday.

Nice little place. More family orientated. Close to the beach but couldn't see it from our room.
A little hard to find.
Shower water went everywhere and toilet seat was broken in our room. All stairs no elevator but they helped us with bags. Lovely people, helpful and restaraunt food was great and reasonably priced

Frankly speaking my general overview is average. Hotel is new and clean with nice view on the sea, also it is possible to park in the garage. Definitely these are positive sides. Unfortunately decoration and \"insides\" are cold and staff with owner are unfriendly, unpleasant and disrespectful. If I would have a choice I would not choose this please next time. And short message to the owner: please take this remarks to the heart because as I saw it is not only my opinion.

The best Holiday Customer Service Experiences

Our best holiday experiences:

The hotel owner's wife by name Ivanika went beyond the call of duty. She was very friendly and always available when needing assistance. She Prepared breakfast before the breakfast set-time as our boat trip was very early in the morning.

The hotel had great food and activities that were breath-taking. The staff members gave excellent customer service and made us feel very comfortable and welcome at all times.

Our stay in the hotel was a memorable experience and exceeded our expectations by far.
I would definitely recommend Villa MiraMar to everyone. It truly lives up to its standards of a 4* star hotel.

The hotel has beautiful stone tile floors and the property looks new. Surprisingly there are no elevators. It is a bit hard to find. It is in a residential area and not close to stores or restaurants. Staff was friendly and the room was comfortable and clean.

Great hotel for great price

We stayed here for single night. The hotel is quite new and well decorated. Very nice breakfast. The only disadvantage is that there is no elevator you are required to take youe luggages up to your room floor (1-3) from the garage located at (-1). In a price which is a little more than other zimmers in the area, you get great value for your money.

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, die Zimmer groß und geräumig. Leider hat es im Badezimmer oft nach Abfluss gerochen, das haben wir auch an der Rezeption gemeldet, leider wurde es dennoch nicht besser.
Das Frühstück ist ordentlich und reicht aus. Zwar keine Unmengen an Auswahl, aber es war soweit in Ordnung.
Parken kann man in der Tiefgarage für 12€ pro Tag. Allerdings muss man den Parkplatz, je nachdem welchen man zugeteilt bekommen, mit einem anderen Auto teilen und deshalb die Schlüssel an der Rezeption deponieren, damit die Mitarbeiter im zweifeln umparken können. 12€ fanden wir zu viel dafür.

Der Kieselstrand ist fußläufig in 3 Minuten erreichbar. Das Hotel Restaurant abends hat nicht viel Auswahl aber das, was sie anbieten, ist lecker.
Ansonsten gibt’s im Ort noch zwei Restaurants, aber nicht günstig. Wir waren oft in Omis zum Abendessen.

Alles in allem ein gelungenes Hotel, wenn man keine riesigen Ansprüche hat.

Πολύ ωραίο ξενοδοχείο.

Ωραίο ξενοδοχείο, καινούργιο, με σχετικά άνετα δωμάτια και θέα προς την θάλασσα. Το πρωινό, χωρίς να εντυπωσιάζει, ήταν πολύ καλό, αρκετά ποιοτικό και χορταστικό. Ο πλοηγός είναι απαραίτητος για να φτάσεις στο ξενοδοχείο.

Zdecydowanie polecam ten obiekt. Bardzo miła i życzliwa obsługa. Dobre śniadania. Obiekt nowoczesny i czysty. Codzienne sprzątanie i wymiana ręczników. Parking podziemny, który jest dużym udogodnieniem z uwagi na brak możliwości parkowania przed obiektem. Małym minusem jest cena parkingu -10 euro za dzień i dość głośna klimatyzacja. Bardzo ładne i kameralne plaże, blisko obiektu, które nie są zatłoczone. Do Omiś spacerem 30 minut. Udany urlop.

Calme, bien situé et accueil chaleureux

Contrairement à l'un des avis négatifs que nous avions lu sur cet hôtel et qui doit concerner un autre établissement, la Villa MiraMar nous a vraiment agréablement surpris. La réception est ouverte jusqu'à 22h contrairement à ce qui est indiqué et il y a un grand parking souterrain gratuit.
Le GPS vous amène derrière le bâtiment et il n'est pas forcément facile de faire le tour car le village est construit sur une pente et que les routes font donc des détours pour changer de niveau mais on s'y retrouve rapidement! La vue sur la mer est magnifique dans les étages supérieurs et cela vaut le coup de prendre une chambre un peu plus chère. Très bon petit-déjeuner en terrasse.

Den Servicepersonal macht ihrJob wirklich keine Freude,und das merkt man deutlich.
Die Reinigung im Zimmer extrem schlecht.
Das Essen,wenn man keine Ansprüche an einen 4Stern Hotel hat...Fischsalat,zum Frühstück,und Hähnchen von Vorabend,und Würstel in jeder Variation...wer ißt das am Morgen??
Der einzige Lichtblick-Die Rezeption,immer ein Lächeln,immer ein freundliches Wort,von diesen zwei Damen können sich alle eine Scheibe abschneiden.Die Damen haben als einziger den Dienstleistungsposten-Welcome-den Kunden gegenüber verstanden.

Hotellet ligger tre km uden for Omis by. Vi havde booket to værelser, som lå på hver deres etage. Det er muligt det er pga højsæson, men lidt ærgerligt. Tæt ved hotellet ligger den fineste og dejligste strand. Der er en god gå-rute til byen langs vandet. Vi synes dog det ligger lidt for langt væk fra byen (dette kunne vi selvfølgelig have sat os mere ind i) Derfor synes vi, at hotellet er for dyr ift beliggenheden. Men fin og høflig service. De mangler bare liiiige det sidste... Vi vil en anden gang vælge overnatning tættere ved byen.

Wir waren mit der Familie zwei Kinder in dem Hotel es war so weit alles in Ordnung bis auf die Parkplätze in der Garage gab es Probleme, das Frühstück kann man durch gehen lassen je nach dem was einem schmeckt, an der Rezeption wird leider kein Deutsch gesprochen.

Greit hotell for de som har bil da hotellet ligger i et rolig område et stykke fra byen Omis. Utsikt samsvarer ikke med annonsering om man ikke bor i toppetasjen. Frokost ok. Nærme en vakker rullesten-strand med mange aktiviteter som vannski, jet ski, sykkelleie..

Nice little hotel near the beach

We arrived with the children after midnight due to delay in flights, but were taken care of with kindness outside normal staff working hours. The room was good with a balcony, and the hotel restaurant served good food. The location is a bit on the side with roughly half an hour drive into Split, but we liked the nearest small city/village Omis as well. With more time we would likely have taken a boat trip to a nearby island or to the canyon, now we mainly spent time at beaches and did some shopping. Would be nice to get a chance to come back one day.

Not the best option for that cost

OK not more than that , Things werent checkad in the room when we came and the staff fixed it after a while burt saw it really as a problem to be told about it. Croatia is splendid but this hotell is not the best one for that price. It is located 45 minutes walk from Omis type of resort location. Top floor should have full see wiew. other floors just partly. (The sofa in the hotellroom was filled with bedbugs sorry no kidding)

Hübsches Hotel in Strandnähe

Das Hotel hat uns im überwiegenden Maße gefallen. Der einzige negative Punkt war, dass wir zu dritt eine Suite gemietet hatten und leider nur für zwei Personen Bettwäsche und Handtücher vorhanden waren. Nach Nachforderung beim Personal wurde alles Fehlende - bis auf die nicht unwichtige Bettdecke - nachgeliefert. Bei der Reinigung der Räume wurde das Badezimmer - bis auf ein Mal von 5 Tagen - übersehen (die Haare vom täglichen Bürsten verblieben auf dem Boden). Toilettenpapier wurde stets aufgefüllt; Handtuchwechsel fand nur ein Mal statt, wobei wir nicht beurteilen können, was der Standard sein soll. Das Personal als solches war immer bemüht, zu helfen. Das Restaurant, welches nicht zum Hotel gehört, wo allerdings das Frühstück serviert wurde, möchten wir ganz besonders durch ein sehr kompetentes und freundliches Personal hervorheben; der Koch muss allerdings noch an der Größe der Portionen üben :-) Nur in einem Sternelokal bekommt man solch kleinere Portionen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend und abwechslungsreich.

Hotel in Strandnähe

Wir (meine Freundin und ich) waren Ende August / Anfang September 2016 für eine Woche dort. Wir wurden sehr freundlich vom Hotelpersonal empfangen. Das Hotel liegt in zweiter Reihe zum Strand (100 m nur zu Fuß). Der Strand ist sehr angenehm ruhig und nicht überfüllt. Das Hotelessen im Restaurant ist ausbaufähig (Fleisch zu trocken gebraten),das morgendliche Buffet zwar nicht üppig aber absolut ausreichend (eine Sorte Brot, Brötchen, Käse, Salami und weitere Wurst. Dazu Rührei mit täglich wechselnder Beilage,z.B. Bacon). Der Weg zum Zentrum des Touristenorts Omis dauert zu Fuß ca. 45 Minuten. Die Lage ist mit Steinstrand und den Bergen drumherum beeindruckend schön. Die Restaurants in Nähe sind preisgünstig und biten sehr gute Qualität an. Einen kleinen Supermarkt findet man ca. 300 m vom Hotel. Den Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel und den Urlaub in Kroatien kann ich nur empfehlen.

Ein hotel mit 4 sternen wie man es kennt ist es nicht, eher eine pension. Frühstücksbuffet war über 10 Tage sehr eintönig; der Kaffee (for free) aus dem vollautomat war instand kaffee. Während unseres Aufenthaltes gab es eine Mittagspause ohne Service von 11-16 uhr. Das servicepersonal aus dem Restaurant hat später auf den Etagen auch die zimmer gemacht, vllt deswegen die pause ^^ die putzfrequenz unseres Zimmers hätte ich gerne etwas höher gesehen.
Ansonsten aber ein nettes und modernes (neues ) Haus mit nettem chef und personal. Die Lage ist super, da eine kleine kiesbucht mit strandkaffee nur 5min fußläufig vom hotel war. Das Zentrum von omis ist auch sehr zu empfehlen, die Größe ist super und die Aktivitätenmöglichkeiten waren gut. Wir hatten einen Leihwagen, welchen wir für die zeit auch empfehlen.
Ich würde dad hotel wieder buchen, jedoch mit einem Einen Anspruch und vllt zu einem günstigeren preis.

Hotellet var nybyggt och påkostat, städningen var dålig/slarvig. Inget schampo eller balsam i duschen och vi fick använda samma handdukar hela veckan. Vill man göra något annat än att ligga på stranden så krävs det en taxiresa på ca 15 min för att ta sig ner till centrum. Maten var ok och personalen gjorde sitt.
Vi hade bokat 3st sviter men fick nöja oss med 1 pga dubbelbokning!

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, ca. 3.8km von Omiś entfernt, deshalb ist ein Auto oder Motorrad sehr empfehlenswert! Der Strand liegt nur 2 Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt,was wir sehr geschätzt haben! Das Team des MiraMar war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt!

Mukava ja siisti hotelli, jossa on hyvä aamupala ja ystävällinen palvelu. Hyvin lähellä hotellia on pikkukiviranta. Omis:n kylä on pienen kävelymatkan päässä ja sieltä löytyy mukavia ravintoloita. Wi-Fin kuuluvuus huoneessamme oli heikko. Split on kilometreissä laskettuna aika lähellä, mutta sinne ajaessa on syytä varautua kunnon ruuhkiin ainakin sesonkina.

Fint, relativt nytt hotell. Rent og pent rom. Ligger bare 100m unna stranda, som består av småsteiner. Ok frokost, lite å gjøre i nærområdet annet enn et par restauranter og en liten dagligvarehandel. Nærmeste sted med uteliv er Omis sentrum ca 3 km unna.

Direkt am Strand sehr nettes \"Strandbuffet\", NICHT vom Hotel änderbar - Busstation (Endstation)auf der Hauptstraße - dieser muss man etwa 5 Minuten \"folgen\" bevor man diese verlassen kann ist jedoch am Abend völlig unbeleuchtet

Neue Unterkunft in der Nähe des Strandes

Neue Unterkunft 5 Minuten Fußwegvom Strand entfernt. Gutes Frühstück, Reinigung der Zimmer sollte öfter vorgenommen werden. Trotzdem empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, gerne wieder!

Das Hotel ist recht hellhörig. Eingeschränkter Service während der Nachsaison - Restaurant war zumindest abends geschlossen. Das Frühstück war sehr spartanisch. Der Kaffee aus der Maschine schmeckte nach Instantkaffee. Die Espressomaschine war ausgeschaltet. Das Hotel verfügt über keinen direkten Zugang zum Meer. Ein Pfad führt über das Nachbargrundstück unter Umgehung eines abgeschlossenen Tores mit Duldung der Nachbarn. Vor der Benutzung eines anderen und weiteren Weges warnt ein Schild mit Abbildung eines Hundes. Der freie Blick zum Meer wird von einem Appartementhaus teilweise eingeschränkt.

Sauberes, Gepflegtes Hotel am Strand

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, ca 50m vom Strand entfernt - allerdings auch mit gefühlten 100 Höhenmetern ;) Wir waren im 3. Stock - ohne Fahrstuhl, was man aber gerne auf sich nimmt. Unser Mietwagen fand in einer kühlen großen Tiefgarage Platz, wodurch es im Wagen stets angenehm kühl war. Das Frühstücksbuffet hätte noch etwas umfangreicher ausfallen können, war aber schon ganz gut. 4 Sorten Wurst, 1 Sorte Käse, 1 Sorte Brot, aber auch Joghurt, Früchte, Spiegelei, Rührei und eine 1A-Kaffeemaschine gehörten dazu.
Die Besitzer kommen aus Bayern, sodass es keinerlei sprachliche Probleme gibt. Die Sicherheit im Hotel scheint groß geschrieben zu werden, es befinden sich mehrere Kameras auf dem Geländer und ins Hotel und in die TIefgarage kommt man nur mit einer Chipkarte. An den ZImmern gibt es gewöhnliche Schlüssel.

Schönes Hotel mit direktem Strandzugang und wirklich schönen Meerblick. Frühstück war etwas klein in der Vielfalt, aber es hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt und war frisch.

Hotel je čist i lijepo uredjen,ima garažu sto je super,wifi je ok.Tus kabina je najmanja tus kabina koju smo ikad vidjeli i mladji vlasnik je prilično neljubazan i ne podnosi nikakve kritike na rad i stanje hotela.Stariji vlasnik je mnogo mudriji i ljubazniji jer vjerovatno bolje shvata da se vraćamo samo tamo gdje se osjećamo dobrodošli. Ono sto mi se najmanje dopalo a za sto hotel nije kriv je položaj i okolina.Plaza je mnogo lijepa i uredna ali doći na plažu kao i doći do hotela je prava muka.Cesta je losa a do plaze smo se provlacili ispod rampi i prolazili kroz privatne u visoku travu zarasle puteve.
