Hotel is in a stunning spot with amazing views. Bed was hard and uncomfortable and the room smelled of cigarettes, but overall the stay was enjoyable and we’d recommend it

Lovely, friendly hotel on the edge of Omis. The hotel is built into the cliffs so is above the river with amazing views, especially from the restaurant balcony.
The room was compact but had everything we needed including air conditioning. The beds were comfortable and we had no problem getting an extra pillow each for our preference.
Breakfast had a nice selection and everything was kept topped up and fresh

Fantastic find.

This is a great hotel, it’s older but is well kept and the staff are fantastic. The views are great and the entry tunnel and lift is a great fun way to get into the hotel. There is parking 10m to the East(away from beach side). Highly recommend.

Perfect stay! We got the room with the private jacuzzi and it was perfect for relaxing with a perfect view. The room was very clean and comfortable. When we needed additional towels and pillows the staff were very accommodating and helpful! We were sad to leave.

Really couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The room was comfortable with a spectacular view of the River Cetina. The restaurant Knez prepared delicious meals, and the veranda provided breathtaking views of Omiš. The breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend this place!

Family run hotel with traditional values.
Location next to old town . Handy for everything. Loved views and dining balcony overlooking confluence of River Cetina and Adriatic. Omis is a unique town with dramatic geology.
Family lovely. Staff excellent.
Everyone was extremely obliging and nothing was too much trouble.
Definitely stay again.

Family run hotel. The property is built on rock with entrance by steps, tricky with suitcases, or via a passage way built into the rock and then lift. There is no outdoor area except the dining room balcony or bedroom balcony. There is no garden. Convenient location for the town, the beaches along the coast and visiting the Cetina river.

Spectacular stay!

The hotel was an amazing surprise. Way more than we expected. Notably the service was great! The restaurant was absolutely delicious, with amazing view. And the location is incredible with spectacular views in all directions. Though the hotel is 3 star and the rooms are somewhat standard size wise, and are very clean, the rest of the hotel experience was more like 5 star! Maybe the best overall that I have experienced!

Delightful hotel with amazing views over the gorge and across to sea. Very friendly staff who went out of their way to give info and suggest ideas for food , visits and trips. Offered OS maps to borrow for hiking etc.

Great views and close to everything

We loved this hotel! The view from our river view room was amazing. Equally the view from breakfast is breathtaking. The hotel is high up but there is a fantastic lift from the street so you don't have to walk. I was worried it would be a bit of a walk to the beach but it was only about 10 mins through the main town. We didn't have an evening meal at the Hotel as we like to explore but breakfast was fantastic and they do the best fries out of all we tasted in Omis! The only thing I didn't enjoy were the wasps at breakfast. We booked a private session in the rooftop jacuzzi which i would recommend. Would definitely visit again but would probably splash out for the sea view terrace room as that looked very nice!

Great hotel - 5 mins walk from town & beaches. Lovely breakfast - lots of choice. Staff very helpful and friendly especially Ante. You can privately hire the rooftop jaccuzzi. Fabulous will go back.

I didn't know I had to formally check out - they should have let me know that in advance. We had to leave very early in the morning and since I didn't know I had to check out with the desk attendant, I didn't do that and was then charged for the room key.

Really nice hotel with amazing views, book to stay in river view room. We had easy access to the beach and old town. The family are very frendly and always helpful. We had a wide choice from the hot and cold breakfast buffet
Dinner and lunch also did not dissapoint. Rooftop jacuzzi was a lovely touch. Would stay again.

It was a lovely stay, the room, staffs, especially the breakfast. The roof top Jacuzzi has 360 degree of sea view and river view. If you don't mind a 15 minutes walk to the beach, everything of this hotel is perfect.

Spectacular location and extremely welcoming staff. This family owned and run Hotel is high on customer satisfaction. The hotel garden supplies many of the items in its restaurant and its unique location (sandwiched between the mountains, river and ocean) and design (James Bond tunnel entrance) is both unique and memorable.

Hotel Dvor; the hotel on the rock.

Excellent position; the view from the balcony of the river gorge was exactly what we thought we had booked. The guys on reception were extremely helpful when discussing our trips and even provided an OS map of the area and suggested walking trails. A good choice of hot and cold at breakfast and the views from the restaurant balcony at breakfast time over the old town, the river and the sea were great. The boat trip along the river was quite spectacular. The local bus journey along the coast road to Split was easy to do although traffic could be busy at times.

Wonderful, authentic family hotel

We recently stayed here towards the end of summer, we chose a room with view of the river. The hotel is very open and has large windows everywhere which is perfect as the view from every window is breathtaking. We had excellent news that the price included use of the jacuzzi which is located on the roof of the hotel.
The breakfast buffet was satisfactory, it had a selection of British and German foods.
Dinner was okay, pricey compared to the town. The food tries to meet fine dining quality, however we think it falls short and we would have loved to try some traditional home recipes.
The room was nice and the double bed was very comfortable, the facilities all worked perfectly.
Lastly the staff were wonderful, everyone is very friendly and attentive. They cater to everyone's need and it is obvious they all work harmoniously with one another.
We would definitely come back here!

Very relaxing and very pleasant.

This is a family business. The staffs were very nice, friendly and very helpful. The hotel picked me up and drove me to the bus station, which was very helpful. The location and the view of the hotel are unbeateble, both the river and of course the sea view. 5-10 min walking along the river to reach the sandbeach.
The view of the canyons from the beach/ocean ist unbelievable. Very quite location.
I am planning to come back and to stay at the Hotel Villa Dvor again.

We stayed in the room with the balcony and the river view. The room was small but the balcony is large and the view of the gorge is fabulous. The breakfast was excellent, the homemade strawberry jam was my favorite. It is possible to eat on the terrace with a view of the old town and the sea. I liked that you scheduled time for the hot tub so your time in the tub was private. Also, it was interesting that the entrance to the hotel was through a rock tunnel, and the elevator had a view of the rock upon which it is perched between the ground and first floor.

We chose the hotel for its location on a rocky outcrop at the bottom of the Cetina Gorge and were not disappointed. The views from our bedroom window, the restaurant, rooftop terrace and even the glass-sided lift were stunning. The room was clean and comfortable but just a standard hotel room. Nothing special about it except the view, but nothing to complain about either. The restaurant food was good, if perhaps a bit pricey for the area - but then you're paying for the view as well!

Wonderful hotel and management

We hit the jackpot with this gem. We had adjoining rooms with our teenage sons. The hotel was spotlessly clean and had a jacuzzi on the roof, which we frequently enjoyed. The location is perfect, overlooking the river and old town. Everyone we spoke to only had kind words to say about the owners, and this was our experience too. They gave great advice on activities, restaurants and walks.
The breakfasts were good and we enjoyed the vista over the river.

Great Family-Run Small Hotel

Excellent small hotel in Omis, with easy quick walk to old town and business center. Staff are all really nice; management is flexible and professional. Rooms are small but clean. Ours felt larger by virtue of the balcony. Most of the 22 rooms have a balcony, facing the sea or the river canyon. The hotel is perched on a large rock outcropping affording great views of both the town center and spectacular river gorge.
Split is about 20-25 minutes away by car.
This is a great place to stay.

Room with a view

First hotel we stayed in after arriving in Split. Really had the wow factor as the hotel is perched on a cliff overlooking the pretty town of Omis. The panoramic lift to reception had a dramatic view of the river gorge below. Found the staff at reception to be really helpful and courteous. If your travelling by car there is a free carpark attached to the hotel which was perfect for us as we had a hire car. Would definitely recommend a stay at this lovely hotel, and not forgetting, the views were amazing from the terrace bar!!

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. We spent a week at the hotel and found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean with amazing views of the area. We ate in the restaurant one evening and found the food to be really good, service great and the setting fantastic. Our room was comfortable and very clean, nothing flash but easily meeting the 3 star.
I would recommend using the Jacuzzi located on the roof, its reserved just for you and is a great way to relax on an evening.
I would highly recommend the hotel and the resort.

Family run hotel in picturesque village

It is a perfect alternative to the stay in Split. Split can be reached within 30 minutes by cart or bus. Omis is small and picturesque village with all necessary amenities. Many choice for see bathing and walking. Hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the center, harbor and beaches. Simple but has all you need. It is family run business and staff is very friendly. Good value for money in this location. The view from breakfast room / restaurant is amazing.

Its a family driven hotel with a very good atmosphere and service.
