Ideally situated and suitable for a night stop, in my opinion. Not far from the shops & supermarkets. Plenty of on site parking. Good value for money and I find the bed very comfortable. Had a very good nights sleep. Slept like a log!

A pleasant stop over

Used several times now. Friendly staff speaking very good English. Very convenient location and good value for money. Nice queen size bed which I found very comfortable. Pillows were also comfortable however could do with being a bit longer. Bathrooms a little cramped so a larger person may find it difficult to manoeuvre in. All in all a pleasant stop over.

Stayed here a couple of times before and it's still very good value for money. FriendIy, pleasant and efficient english speaking staff. I found the bed very comfortable. The shower would probably be difficult to negotiate for a larger framed person. Breakfast available for an additional cost. Easy access from highway and ample parking.
La Boucherie restaurant is just across the road.

Located within easy access of the highway. Needed a night stopover so this was ideal for me. Friendly bilingual staff. Free parking & WiFi. Room had a large double + a bunk. Toilet/shower a bit on the tight size, similar in size as the ones on the ferries. The shower was hot & powerful.I found the bed clean & comfortable. Breakfast, for the money, was ok but don't expect a huge selection. Couple of restaurants within a very short walk. All in all very good for an overnight stop however as space is limited in the room would be a little tight if three people sharing with luggage. My opinion is good value for money

Lovely friendly welcome, and good breakfast. Unfortunately the room was very small, we each banged our head on the tv on a few occasions, and the bathroom in our 2 birth caravan is bigger!! Good outside space for relaxing in nice weather. Despite the friendliness we would not stay again due to the smallness of the room. The river in Santes has a lovely park and walk by it, well worth a stroll.

Ideal stopover in a long journey

You get what you pay for, it is a cheap compact room ideal for a stopover on a long journey. The room was compact and smelled of smoke as there are smoking stations just outside the accommodation. No kettle but there is a 24hr beverage vending machine and they do supply hairdryers but you need to ask at reception before it closes.

Good budget hotel for one night stop off

Good budget hotel which served very well for a one night stop off traveling from the ferry down South. We arrived too late to see anyone at reception (which closes 9pm) but used the self check-in kiosk just outside which was quick and easy. Can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't have any but it is ideally situated near the motorway but also close to the centre of Saintes which is a lovely town complete with Roman amphitheatre and arch.

Thin walls:

Avoid if you are a light sleeper. I am a light sleeper and the walls are very thin, I could hear every work from the next room. Numerous chats during the night didn't help.

Ideal budget hotel for short stay such as ours. Room was smaller than similar priced hotels but did have the advantage of having an en-suite wet room with shower.
Breakfast was an \"all-you-can-eat\" style continental job but due to the high occupancy rate, there was a limited selection remaining by the time we got there but there was plenty of the limited choice.

A loyalty scheme exists and we were happy to join and look forward to similar breaks in this hotel and others of the chain.

Useful stopover when travelling the west of France. Everything very plastic and basic, but staff friendly and helpful. Dinner in the sister hotel next door expensive for what you get even with 15% discount. Not somewhere I would go again.

This hotel was ok for our journey back to the UK, but there is better ones out there for the same price, two of us & the dog had traveled from Villamartin Costa Blanca & this was just over half way, the sat nav route was just seven hours away from the tunnel & this was on the tolls roads, check in was fine, location was great for ease of access to motorway, but room was not so good, very small, the shower room was so tiny with a plastic built up floor, you could clean your teeth, go to toilet & shower all at the same time, (not that we did) there was no tea or coffee making facilities, no hair dryer, there was just two hand towels in the room no others & these were rock hard, the walls were thin you could hear your neighbours and traffic pulling up all through the night was noisy, so my overall view on this hotel would be to only use this as a last resort, this was just an over night stop to get our heads down but we would have liked to be able to have a full shower not just a wash & a good nights sleep would have helped when you have 10/11 hours further driving to do

La chambre était en parfait état. Seulement afin d’éviter de 2e étage sans ascenseur nous avons préféré prendre la chambre au rdc, même si on nous avait averti que les anciens locataires avaient fumé et que l’odeur à tabac n’avait pas entièrement disparue.

Insectes vivants dans la chambre. Réveil en pleine nuit pour les tuer. Et dernier jour réveillés à 9h30 par la femme de ménage qui toque à la porte pour savoir s'il y a quelqu'un dans la chambre alors que nous avions jusqu'à 11h pour partir.
Sinon accueil très agréable, chambre avec micro onde et frigo très pratique pour les repas. Petit bémol pour les tables extérieures sur lesquelles on pourrait manger mais qui sont dans un sale état, on ose à peine s'y assoir.
Emplacement proche de tous les lieux touristiques, restaurants, magasins.

Bon sejour dans cet hotel malgre une arrivee problematique a cause d'une panne sur la borne de réception apres 21h. La dame de garde n etait pas des pkus accueillante, nous l'avions deranger alors qu elle etait sous la douche!
La chambre etait agreable, tres calme, literie confortable. Un bemol sur la salle de bain qui meritait un nettoyage plus soigne..
Petit dejeuner tres correcte avec un accueil tres chaleureux!

Gut war die Nähe zur Autobahn und zu einer Bäckerei gegenüber des Hotels. Zweckmäßige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit: Es ist ein kleines Motelzimmer, wie beschrieben. Man kann da duschen und schlafen und es gibt optional ein kleines Frühstück gegen Aufpreis. Betten und Nasszelle waren in Ordnung. Sauberkeit der Zimmer könnte etwas besser sein.

Logement simple mais parfait pour dormir, si vous cherchez du 5 étoiles c’est pas ici mais j’ai très bien dormi, on entend ce qui ce passe sur la route devant la chambre et autour de la chambre mais rien de fou en règle générale le responsable très gentil qui nous a débloquer après qu’on ce soit enfermer dans la chambre sans savoir qu’on ne devait pas mais il a été super sympa après notre bêtise et nous proposer un petit café pour le manque d’information. Vraiment pour la nuit je recommande.

Après installation on se rend compte qu'on entend un bruit permanent d'eau qui coule au wc.
Alors on demande un changement de chambre. Accordé sans difficulté.
L'hôtel mériterait une bonne rénovation, trace d'humidité apparente dans la chambre.
Mais bon ce n'est pas un 4 étoiles et à 39e la nuit on va pas chercher la petite bête.

La personne lors de notre accueil était très sympathique. Chambres très propres et plutôt silencieuses, les routes autour sont peu passantes la nuit.
Nous avons réservé une nuit avec petit-déjeuner, cependant, lorsque nous avons voulu prendre notre petit-déjeuner, in nous a dit qu'il n'avait pas était payé alors que nous avions pris le supplément. Nous avons montré notre réservation à la personne qui a bien vu que nous avions pris les petits-déjeuners et ne nous a rien fait payer de plus, mais pour ne pas être embêté je vous conseil de ne pas réserver les petits-déjeuners sur le site, mais directement à l'hôtel lors de votre arrivée.

Accueil et service petit-déjeuner parfaitement correctes, chambre propre mais ensemble \"vieillot\" et extrêmement bruyant : bruits de la route, mais surtout, bruits des arrivées nocturnes ou départs matinaux (minuit 1/4, 5 h 1/2) des portières de voitures, discussions des personnes dans les escaliers et couloirs. Conclusion : mauvaise nuit !

Petite chambre au confort réduit au strict minimum. La lumière est très forte et aucune lampe de chevet ce qui est désagréable. La salle de bains (plutôt une salle d'eau dans tous les sens du terme) a la taille d'un placard tellement elle est exiguë. Rien n'est prévu pour poser ses affaires (pas d'autre choix que de les poser sur les w-c), le coin douche est un bloc en plastique minuscule dans lequel on peut à peine bouger (sauf si on est filiforme) et le sol est trempé quand on sort de sa douche. Rien à dire concernant la propreté. Les personnes de l'accueil sont aimables. Le seul réconfort est le petit déjeuner à volonté très copieux et varié (croissants, jus d'orange, yaourts, toasts et fromage...).
