The rooms were great, food was great. When I checked in the receptionist made some kind of joke on my behalf. I did not understand what was happening and she said oh it's nothing it was somthing between me and the manager...I turned around and seen this guy...he just walked away...made me feel uncomfortable. Other than that I enjoyed my stay!!

No issues had a pleasant stay, the rooms are in a desperate need of an update though. The restaurants at the property are amazing especially the Iranian & the Lebanese restaurants, highly recommended.

The hotel is near to Kuwait airport. The area around is very safe and everything is walkable. Some staff are very professional and helpful and some need improvement in communication skills which something could be looked at by managers.

I really appreciate the free shuttle airport service.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, it was a good place to stay. There were many restaurants in the plaza, same building area, so easy to get to. The meals I had were very good. The only downside is there really isn't anything around the hotel, so while you have many options inside, that's pretty much it. But, I would stay again for close to the airport.

Given that it is a five star hotel, I expected my room to be nicer. We were three people, and I specifically booked a room for three, so they brought a roll away cot. Also despite it being a non smoking room, it smelled like smoke. The staff were very kind, the room service was excellent.

Two Night Business Trip

Stayed here for 2 nights for a work meeting in Kuwait.
Really nice and comfortable hotel - but most of all, the staff could not be more friendly and helpful.... really went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and was happy with the service.
Complimentary courtesy car to the airport was also an unexpected bonus!
Nice Pool, Nice Food, Nice Rooms...

A brilliant layover spot

Taxi driver immediately knew where the place was so no hassle there. No driving to an alt location he's been bribed to take the unwary. Staff was immediately there and insisted on taking the luggage for me. I felt bad b/c it was actually pretty heavy. The front desk was situated in a very grandoise lobby equipped w/polished tile floors, bright lights, and beautiful paintings of emirs past, among other things. They immediately pulled up my reservation w/o incident. Went up the glass elevator and enjoyed the view of the gorgeous lobby and noted no less than three entrances to excellent restaurants present below. I got to the room and noticed at how luxuriously it was furnished. It was roomy, had a breathtaking view, and had a bed that was so comfortable as to induce a coma. I tipped the very friendly bellhop, whose english was far better than any Arabic I might muster, and went down for an hour-long massage. Masseur was highly skilled and professional. He also showed me to a giant olympic-sized jacuzzi/pool. It was awe-inspiring. You need to see it to believe it. I can't say enough good things about this place. Very reasonable prices (not cheap, but well worth it) and comfort and amenities that far outstrip any competition. Also, a maybe ten-minute drive to KWI airport. Just can't be beaten. If I fly through Kuwait again, there's no question of where I'll be staying.

Frist time in Kuwait and in this hotel as well, the story started when I arrived to the hotel parking, there is no sign to direct the hotel guests to valet parking, then when I reached the reception to check in the told me they don’t have baby coats in spite of I have 2 children. They gave me a twin room because they don’t have the baby coat and wanted us to use it !!!
I asked to change the room to be double room and they promised to bring extra beds, once I entered to the room I smelled very bad smell I don’t know where it was come from and that continued for whole my stay “specially when I get out and come back to the room”.
After that someone brought a single bed with bedsheet and one bellow for the 2 babys, it was a very bad experience and I don’t recommend this hotel to any one, maybe Crown plaza better as I informed by my friend later..

Very nice hotel, very close to the airport.

I would have already given an outstanding review because of how nice the hotel and my room were, but what happened afterwards warrants an extra OUTSTANDING review. I took the hotel shuttle to the airport to catch my flight, but when I got to the airport I realized I had left my wallet in my hotel room. The man at the Holiday Inn counter at KWI Airport contacted the hotel and they immediately collected my wallet and delivered it to me at the airport. The Holiday Inn staff literally saved the day for me, and I couldn't be more thankful!

Very pleasant stay here, the best part of Kuwait was this Hotel, besides the company I met there. Front desk, housekeeping very helpful and the person who stocks mini bar. Taxi service excellent, food was always hot, fresh and perfect. I can't say anything negative about the Hotel. First time leaving the USA and it was a pleasant experience.

A great place, hated to checkout

Everything was perfect. This is both a business hotel and also a family hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent. All of the help were great. I used the onsite drivers and cars about 10 times. All were very good. Everyone spoke very good English.

The Hotel is fantastic and it has all the services you need from Room services, SPA, Restaurants, WIFI, CAR parking service.
Design: the Interior for the main lounge is impressive.
Rooms: Room was very Clean and comfortable.
SPA: i tried the SPA and it was Amazing and they have a span therapy and other fantastic massages, the SPA is 7 star for Men and Womens.
Food: The breakfast was Amazing, The restaurants is good to try and they have SHISHA inside the hotel in one of the restaurants.
Parking: The Car service is nice they will prepare your car by SMS or phone application.

Negatives (-)
1- The Reception desk supervisor (Egyptian) was not prepared, not organized, jumping from Customer to another one, did not handled the customer complain and he keep the customer shouting. he was confusing the other Reception Staff.
2- Slow Check-out and no smiling they was very busy and not welcoming as required
3- Reception billed me for the room and i already paid online using Credit Card (they take time to check the system)
4- Un-organized reception team and they was throwing the problem to each others to solve my problem and other customer problem.
5- Too Much loud at night due to a wedding ongoing in the ground floor by Thursday night.
6- No clear Map for the Hotel sections and services and reception desk dose not explain any thing to me (just throw the key to me) that's it. they should explain to me what next, how to find my room. it was hard to find my way

Nice hotel but only if need to stay near there...

The hotel is nice with many restaurants, but overall it's not that great.
Tired the Sushi place, wasn't impressed for the price I paid.
It's a decent hotel if you really must stay near the Industrial area, but there are nicer hotels in Kuwait for sure.

If your business in the airport, best choice

The Hotel is old but nice in the same time. I had an executive room which is huge and comfortable. I like it because it's close to the airport.
The thing I don't like is, when I cam to check in, they couldn't find my reservation and took me a while waiting on the reception.
