Our 4-star Best Western Hotel at the EUROPAPLATZ is located in the heart of Königsbrunn just outside the city of Augsburg. You can expect 72 comfortable and modern rooms in three different categories.
All rooms are equipped with bed linen for allergy sufferers, shower or bathtub, WC, hair dryer, make-up mirror, desk, sitting area, minibar, coffee & tea station, telephone, 32-inch flat screen and radio. Particularly beautiful and trendy are our rooms of the NEW GENERATION category with kingsize boxspring beds, floor-to-ceiling windows, daylight bathrooms with walk-in rain showers, air conditioning and safe.
Wi-Fi is available to you free of charge throughout the house. You can relax very well in the newly designed spa area with thermium, steam bath and two relax whirl baths.
A fitness area with cardio machines and a weight tower are available for your daily work-out. Culinary delights can be enjoyed in the ZELLER Restaurant & Bar directly opposite.
The kitchen offers fresh seasonal dishes, steaks, burgers, salads and much more. In the hotel's own underground car park you can park your car safely and for a fee.
Free parking spaces are available directly at the hotel or publicly. For conferences and seminars, three flexibly configurable conference rooms for up to 30 people are available.
The federal highway B17 connects our hotel ideally with the city of Augsburg, which was only awarded the UNESCO World Heritage Site for its Renaissance fountains and water management in July 2019. The trade fair centre (approx.
10 minutes by car), the Bavarian capital Munich (approx. 55 minutes by car) as well as tourist attractions in the Bavarian Alps such as the royal castle Neuschwanstein (approx.
70 minutes by car) are easily accessible. Travellers by train can reach our hotel via Augsburg main station with the direct bus line 740.
The nearest bus stop Königsbrunn Zentrum is only five minutes on foot from our hotel.

Worst hotel experience ever
Check out time is 11:00. I call the reception and kindly request check out at 12:00. Rude reseptionits told me if I sign up best westerns membership program then I can stay until 12:00 for free, otherwise I have to pay 10€ for 1 hour. When I asked her what kind of 4 star hotel is this ? She rudely replayed this is what best western is. For more then 20 years I'm traveling all around world. This was my worst hotel experience ever. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL

Very clean and convenient to the Munich airport. If you like beer and beer history, I would recommend making a trip to the Weihenstephan brewery (15-20 min drive away).

We spent one night here as a stopover while driving on the Romantic Road and stayed in a junior suite. Unfortunately, it has more negatives than positives. The hotel is very clean and located in a quiet area with a few restaurants nearby. The on-site dining place is only for breakfast and they do give you a 10% discount card for dining at the restaurant of their sister hotel across the street. Although my booking through hotels.com was for 3 persons including a 12-year old, the reception charged me an extra 20 Euros, indicating that it was their policy for the third person above 11 years. The room does not have a proper dining table but rather a stand-up counter top. The kitchenette was however well equipped. The biggest downside of this place is the lack of air conditioning which is telling if you are travelling in summer. Although a notice in the room indicated that there are fans available from the reception, none was available for us, suggesting there was probably only a handful. While the windows can be opened at night, we stayed in a room facing a nearby church. The church bell chimes every 15 minutes throughout the night including the wee hours. Certainly makes for a most interrupted sleep, especially on a hot summer's night. Only the surface car-park is free and lots can be limited.

1. The hotel entrance is hard to access by car based on the proximity of the closed off walking area with the pub and movie theater right next to it. Parking is extremely tight and limited. You must move your vehicle by 08:00 if you parked in the area servicing the pub/theater !!!

THE BELLS!!! They killed my sleep!
The worst night sleep ever!!!!! Church bells ring every 15 minutes and ringing the time on every hour even throughout the night. Didn't get a wink of sleep!!!! If I knew about the bells I would not of stayed!

Stayed 2 nights in a New Generation room. Room and bathroom were clean, bed comfortable. Staff was friendly, and breakfast buffet was plentiful. Free parking on a small park deck, which is fine for small cars, but larger cars have a hard time maneuvering due to the pillars holding the structure. Will stay there again, when in the area. Grocery store, drug store, bank and cinema all in walking distance, as are restaurants and a nice Cafe.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. It was such a well designed room( one of the newly remodeled rooms). I love the shower design (drain in three wall!) -so clever

We attended Octoberfest in Munich which had prices of over $300/night for a equivalent of a Motel 6 type of room. Staying out south of Augsburg put the price of rooms back in a more reasonable <$140/nt range. The hotel offered an excellent continental breakfast which was well above what is traditionally found in Europe. Hotel staff was very helpful. Rooms were modern and clean.

This is a fine hotel and not too expensive. Koenigsbrunn is close to Augsburg but also close to nice open country. The main problem I found, which distracted from the stay, was that the church bells ring every quarter hour once, at 30 minutes twice and the number of hours on the hour, for example 12 times at midnight. There are 3 churches close by and this made sleeping with an open window somewhat tedious.

It would have been great if the clerk the night befor would have changed our room immediately. So if you stay here make sure you stay in the nice part of hotel if not it will be a bad experience. The breakfast was great. Mrs. Burkhardt who helped us the 2nd day was curtious and very helpfyll. Thank you

We stayed here to go see the Christmas market, which was only a 15-20 minutes drive away in Augsburg. The hotel was comfortable, with parking, a spacious room, delicious breakfast, and very polite and helpful staff.

Pleasantly surprised...we had a two-room suite with a kitchen and spotlessly clean bedroom. After a lot of German guesthouses in the rural areas with few amenities, this had it all. The internet was good, too. The only downside was parking. There was no room in the designated places, and we had to go underground, which didn't work too well the first two times. But in the end, it was fine. We enjoyed being able to make tea in the room and keep everything cold in a refrigerator. We would absolutely stay here again. Great value!

Stayed there for two nights because it was very close to Augsburg yet quiet location. One hour from Neuschwanstein castle and about one hour from Munich.

This is not a 4 Star hotel. It has no own restaurants, nor a swimming pool. Although the hotel is close to several long distance cycle tracks there is no safe overnight storage for bicycles, unless you book the garage for a charge. The hotel has no air conditioning, and no fly screens by the windows. If you want fresh air at night, it comes with traffic noise from the main road, and with stinging insects (Schnaken). The breakfast offered is continental with a touch of hot items.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Europlatz. We picked this town as it was central to Munich, Legoland Germany and Neuschwanstein Castle (all about one hour drive), and this hotel was so nice to come back to each day. The people were very nice and extremely helpful, the room was very comfortable for my family of four - two adults and two children, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. If I get to southern Germany again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Very easy location to find right in the middle of town. I arrived late and was welcomed by pleasant receptionist who directed me to parking at the rear of the hotel. I was able to find a place but if not there is public parking to the front of the hotel but it is on 2hour limit after 8am. Room clean and modern, bed very comfortable. Town is quiet and I had a good nights sleep even though my room was at the front of the hotel, no noise problems. Breakfast in morning standard fayre with great coffee machine. Overall his is a lovely small hotel yo table for business or tourist traveller and konigsbrunn is good location to explore further afield from Munich.

Baustellenbedingt war die Zufahrt etwas schwierig, das Hotel ist aber sehr angenehm, die Zimmer grosszügig und das Frühstück mit grosser Auswahl auch warmer Speisen. Die Rezeption ist zwar nicht durchgehend besetzt, als wir aber mitten in der Nacht vor dem Hotel standen und feststellten, dass unser Zimmerkarten auf dem Zimmer geblieben waren, konnten wir eine Notfallnummer wählen und eine nette Dame kam innerhalb von 5 Minuten und hat uns unser Zimmer aufgemacht, super! Auc positiv: kostenfreie Parkplätze gleich hinter dem Hotel.
