Resort and staff were great, but the food is absolutely terrible. The only thing that kept us alive was the breakfast buffet and the BBQ jerk chicken on the beach, for lunch. We were lucky enough to snag reservations for dinner off the resort. Entertainment is…interesting. Seems like they cater to teens /children entertainment wise. Drinks are decent and resort is well maintained. Some staff members have an attitude but were helpful overall

My room smelled like sewage, I did report it and maintenance came and sprayed the room which lasted a day. We didn’t realize until the day before we left that we had leakage from our shower into the bedroom. The floor was always wet. They informed us they will renovate in 2 yrs. Not a lot of food options. Food was okay. Location was great a lot of activities near resort. Great beach location beautiful waters. Quiet resort I did like that not a party resort. Just relaxing.

My issue begins and ends with the room. Our first room smelled heavily of bleach & with my hubby’s sinus's and allergies that wasn’t going to work. We were given a new room finally ( which was a total ordeal) and it seemed to be ok the first night. The next day is when we noticed everything seemed damp.. the sheets.. towels.. toilet paper..our clothes everything was damp. Then came the smell.. the mildew/mold smell for the duration of our stay. I dreaded being in the room. Ot was the most unpleasant experience I’ve ever had . I almost can’t put it into words. Three family members came to my room and all smelled the stinch and felt the dampness in the air. The room door was not aligned in the frame properly, light could be seen around all 4 angles. The cars zooming vrooming and beeping by all day and all night. It was clear the ceiling had been moldy/mildewy and they painted over it. The headboard to the bed was filthy. Bugs would come right on in very easily because the door wasn’t aligned. The bathroom was gross. The ceiling of the shower was makeshift and wasn’t the same as the rest of the bathroom which was totally odd. The shower fixtures were sloppily fixed to the wall. Every resort has its issues but this one was the worst overall. The beach is great. The food was ok, each night we had to figure out which restaraunt was open as there was no clear direction. The entertainment was a 5/10 sadly. Staff was friendly for the most part. Endless locals on the beach selling

This resort’s best days are behind it. There is so much wear and tear, and instead of renovating, they just continue putting a bandaid on it. Every time it rained, our windows leaked and we had puddles on the floor. Maintenance came and sealed the windows, but another leak would find its way through. The furniture is old and worn and our couch was so stained that we couldn’t sit on it.

The first night at the property, I asked for face towels and confirmed with the front desk staff twice that I needed face towels, only to have bath towels delivered. The next day, I gave housekeeping a nice tip and asked again, and still didn’t receive them. By day 3, I was at my wit’s end and finally got them.

I’m not sure how this resort is still listed as 5 star. I’d give it a 3 at best. Please do better.

The azul beach resort was genuinely one of the best vacations me and my partner have ever been on. It was so relaxing, the sounds of the ocean; the staff being incredibly kind and showing they want us to have an enjoyable stay, and plenty of things for you to be able to do activity wise or excursions. But would highly recommend to anyone, though I will say it is the only all inclusive resort I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy and as of right now plan to return for sure. The shower was cold for two of the days we stayed but opted to just tough that out. But again, amazing stay

Grate place to stay. Beautiful beach! It was the best spot in the entire area. Felt safe and secure on the property. Staff was great. Service and food were great. Facility is still recovering from hurricane from last year so there are site repairs happening throughout. Would highly recommend going. Remember to go have a cup of the Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee each morning. It is near the front entrance where the ice cream is at.

Property in need of serious renovations. Did not get the room I paid for. Some of the staff seemed overwhemled when serving me and my family while staying there. Some of the women in the mahongony dining area in the morning for breakfast were very kind and made the experience alittle better when going there.

My stay at AZUL was very disappointing. It’s nothing like what’s been displayed on the website. The first night I checked in, the room smelled like mold. I endured it for the first night because I got there late. I called reception area the following morning and was placed in another room. Food was average, furniture was kind of old, not much entertainment, staff was very friendly, and the beach was the best part of my stay with its turquoise water and soft white sand. AZUL does not meet the criteria of being a 5 star hotel so I would rate it at 3 stars. If I had to go back to Negril, AZUL would not be my choice of place to stay.

My stay here was absolutely amazing! Clean rooms, great and helpful staff! Pools with swim up bars all over the resort was the best! This resort spoiled me they have everything you want and catered to your every need! This resort has activities and live Dj, with performances all through the day and night but yet so peaceful! Most importantly the beach view was everything, most beautiful place and view I’ve seen! I will be back! My stay here and first time in Jamaica has been my best vacation thus far!

We stayed here last minute with our two year old after a different stay didn’t work out. Since we booked last minute, I was expecting the worst based on some of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised! The pools and the beach were lovely. The beach is one of the best I’ve been to and my toddler loved being in the water and playing in the sand. Our room was on the 3rd floor in bldg 11 and it did not smell of mildew, did not get noise from the road, and had a small view of the ocean from the balcony. I only wish there was a tub in that room for my toddler but it was fine overall. Breakfast buffet at the Palms was good and the staff at the Palms were excellent. Dinner at the Italian restaurant was good as was room service. We also liked lunch at West End (my toddler loved the grilled cheese!). The only restaurant we did not care for was the Asian restaurant as the food was mediocre and service was slow. Overall decent food for an AI and great drinks everywhere we went. We appreciated the swim up bar next to West End Grill that let my toddler sit on the stool in the water and have a virgin pina colada. I took my toddler to the kids club on a rainy day and is smelled a little like mildew and many toys did not have batteries but it provided a space for her to run around on a rainy day. Overall nice place to stay.

I would not recommend this resort. The property was very dirty, and the staff were often rude and unprofessional. Throughout our stay, staff members constantly approached us trying to sell massages and other services, which became very annoying and made it difficult to relax.

The food was also very disappointing, with poor quality and very limited enjoyable options. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations at all.

The only positive thing about this resort is the beach, which was beautiful. Unfortunately, that was not enough to make up for the poor service, cleanliness issues, and disappointing food.

recently celebrated my birthday here, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. The biggest positive was the staff—they were absolutely amazing, friendly, welcoming, and did everything they could to make us comfortable. They truly deserve recognition.

Unfortunately, the property itself is in desperate need of renovation and proper upkeep. There were too many worn-out and dilapidated areas that took away from the experience. Our room had a leaking AC and even a spider inside, and there were simple things missing like ketchup and bitters for drinks—small issues that should be easy to fix.

It felt like the staff cared, but upper management didn’t seem to share that same level of concern. That’s really disappointing because with some attention and investment, this place could be so much better.

I genuinely appreciate the incredible staff, but sadly, the condition of the property would keep me from returning. I sincerely hope management makes the improvements it deserves.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this hotel was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had.

Housekeeping was extremely poor. The cleaners would come into the room, but often the bed sheets were not changed, towels were not replaced, and basic amenities such as shampoo were missing. It felt like the room was never properly serviced.

The staff’s behavior was also inappropriate at times. Several male employees were overly flirty and repeatedly asked for phone numbers, which was uncomfortable and unprofessional.

The food was very repetitive with very little variety, especially for an all-inclusive resort. The restaurant service was equally disappointing. It was common to wait 20 minutes or more for a drink, and on multiple occasions our orders were forgotten completely. Many servers seemed uninterested in helping guests.

Overall, the hotel failed in the areas that matter most: cleanliness, professionalism, food quality, and customer service. I would not return and would not recommend it to anyone expecting a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

It was my first time to Jamaica and I was really looking forward to it from all the good things I had heard from other people. Unfortunately, the hype did not live up to the expectations. I was very disappointed with my stay at Azul. For the first time I experienced lack of food in an all-inclusive resort. Azul has very very limited number of restaurants: for breakfast you have ONLY one buffet which is very very small for the number of guests that the resort holds, and very few options of food which it never changed during my 7 night stay. For lunch you’ll find the same buffet open and a snack back, again with very few options of food choices. And for dinner again the same buffet and only two a la carte style restaurant which are the same cousins always (Italian and Caribbean). Never had I experienced such lack of food choices in an all-inclusive that at times I had to skip a meal because there wasn’t anything that I liked.
As for service I found it to be very mediocre, didn’t feel very welcoming. The staff was more focused to sell you extra services, such as massage therapy, rather than trying to service you for what you’ve already paid.
The resort itself is very outdated and it doesn’t look as good as the photos online. What’s online is very misleading, I would’ve not booked had the marketing been truthful.
Overall I was very disappointed, the only thing that saved my trip was the beach which was beautiful and amazing and the 1 star is only for the beach ONLY.

Oh, the Azul! This resort is an absolute stunner, a true tropical paradise that offered us so many moments of pure joy. From the moment we stepped through the doors, the front desk staff made us feel incredibly welcome, their warm greetings and accommodating nature setting a fantastic tone for our stay. Our room? Immaculate! And the view from our balcony was simply breathtaking, a postcard-perfect panorama of the island's natural beauty. The vibrant energy of the bar staff near the entrance was infectious – always ready with a smile and a friendly chat. However, a slight dip in the otherwise stellar service occurred with the bar staff by the restaurant where breakfast was served. It felt a bit disheartening when they'd engross themselves in their own conversations, leaving us waiting a little longer than expected. On a brighter note, the security team patrolling the beach were absolute legends, super cool and always ensuring our peace of mind. And the breakfast servers? Genuinely friendly and attentive, adding a lovely start to our mornings. We were also promised a meeting with a resort representative to discuss our stay and receive a $100 credit, a perk we were looking forward to. Unfortunately, this meeting never materialized, and to our surprise, there was no follow-up or apology offered. I recently stayed at this resort to celebrate my 50th birthday. There were some positives, but unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing.
The beach area was beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff members were truly amazing. They were friendly, attentive, and did their best to assist whenever needed. In fact, the Customer Service Manager went above and beyond to try to make things right, and I genuinely appreciated those efforts.
However, the property itself is in need of significant renovations and maintenance. My room flooded during my stay, and I had to be moved to a different room. Throughout the resort, there were visible signs of wear and tear that affected the overall experience.
I was also disappointed by the management. At one point, I wasn’t feeling well and simply requested some bitters and lime juice. I was told the manager would assist me, but after waiting for over an hour, no one followed up or came back to address my request.
While the staff’s excellent attitude helped offset some of the issues, the condition of the property and the lack of management responsiveness left a negative impression. Based on my experience, I would not choose to return to this resort, though I do want to recognize and thank the hardworking staff who made the best of a difficult situation.
Rating: 2.5/5 stars. The staff deserve much higher marks, but the property’s condition and management issues significantly impacted my stay.

The resort is nice and the beach is unbelievable! The staff were amazing except one lifeguard who was so annoying with his side hustles we actually paid him to go away. Food was good but not a whole lot of variety for breakfast. Room was large, clean and in good condition. The biggest criticism we have is the resort lacks a Jamaican vibe. It felt more like a resort in Cancun or a hotel in Miami.

I actually did not stay. The property was not up to the standards that I like in a hotel. I put in a refund with Azul which was granted. I was only on property for approximately 45 minutes. Property is old. They only were serving hamburgers for lunch. Definitely not the level of hotel which i would stay in. The online looked good and reviews read decent, but the actual hotel was not up to par.

We had a premium package w/ swim up pool. There was nothing extra nor special about this package. Also just FYI , their premium liquor is just Rum. Most of the staff is rude and unfriendly. Our bartender Alshane was the greatest employee there. He was super friendly, polite and caring. The ladies on the beach for volleyball and dancing also had great spirits, the ladies at the restaurant and buffet had bad attitudes. Room service took 3 hours and then my burger was under cooked

Room from the beginning ! No robes no ironing board and pubic hairs on the toilet and floor
Called customer service was asked to send pictures I did and nothing else no im sorry no consessions...the bench and the end of the bed was dirty as well as the platform on the sides of the bed and bedroom flood.i wiped my hands across them and dirt was in my hands. Bench on balcony had yup you guessed it more pubic hairs. The phone in the room cord had a short .Noone offered to repair. What a very non customer satisfaction was concern...then meanwhile leaving was kept getting hung up on to get my bags picked up. Then Jermaine night manager crossed my path told him everything.did not offer any concessions. Then they had the nerve to say my bill was 600 dollars .when I didn't order anything or stay at that complex...forgot about the shower no water pressure shooting scauling a minute later and the roaches in the shower.

Yes, it is worn down ! The flooring & rooms. But the staff maintains the shore , pools , & all the rooms are clean & tidy. Does need some updating but overall , amazing location - nothing will beat this . We enjoyed our stay & the staff was excellent , so welcoming & kind. I saw lots of complaints regarding the food, but we had no issues , lots of yummy items . Akee’s was our favourite restaurant (the Italian and Asian one were okay) we also enjoyed all the buffets , the food was pretty good & everything tasted pretty fresh & clean. Do not hesitate to book Azul, you will enjoy your time & have the best trip

Overall, I had a good experience, but there are important things people should know before booking.
The front desk staff were extremely helpful, and the beach water was very clear and beautiful. The food was also great, although eating similar foods every day became repetitive.
One disappointment was the weather. There were afternoon showers almost every day, which affected the vibe and sunset views. One reason I booked Jamaica was for the sunsets, so that was unfortunate.
Another thing to be aware of is the beach vendors. Do not feel pressured to buy things because they will continue approaching you if you entertain them. The bracelet vendors especially will try to sell souvenir bracelets for around $10–15. I understand the resort cannot control this since they are independent vendors, but guests should still be aware.
I also noticed tipping culture is very strong here, and service definitely felt better when tips were involved. Staff also constantly promoted spa specials or meetings offering “free massages,” which became draining after a while.
The resort seemed to cater more toward couples, older guests, families, and drinking culture rather than younger people looking for nightlife. Canoeing was fun, but entertainment overall could improve.
There was also a smell in the bathroom during the stay. The deposit was $200 by card or $100 cash. Overall, I’m glad I experienced it for myself because reviews vary depending on the person.

Rooms need updating and better cleaning, our curtains had stains on backside, ironing board looked like it sat in the pool for a month. Staff was great (especially Tio and concierge Nikesha) and amenities were great! Most rooms have good views of beach and pools. The resort needs to work on sharing schedules for events and food, they barbecued some days but not others and staff wasn’t sure when there would be more.

I recently stayed at Azul Beach Resort Negril and overall had a great time. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very engaging with guests. The activities were fun and there was something for everyone. The beachfront was beautiful and definitely the highlight of the trip. The food was just okay for me. I was hoping for more authentic Jamaican cuisine and flavors. The resort itself could also use some updates. Some walkway boards were loose with noticeable gaps, and while the rooms were clean, they were pretty average. Unfortunately, there was no hot water during my entire stay. Despite a few issues, I still enjoyed my vacation and would return for the atmosphere and beach alone.

Beach AMAZING- NO Sargassum. If you are looking for a beach front resort this is your place! My husband and I travel to the Caribbean a few times a year. We are definitely beach people. Our only wants are clean comfortable bed, spacious room (we had a honeymoon beachfront), beautiful beach with comfortable loungers, decent food options (including room service), and hassle-free beach towels. We found all of those here. Food- many daily options from buffet (shout out to Marion at breakfast and lunch-who was always ready with our usual orders), jerk chicken station, burger bar, and coffee bar including snacks and soft serve. Evening dining- many restaurants to choose from-our favorite was the Asian. Most importantly is the accommodating staff who would ask daily if there were any wants or needs. Our bartenders TINA and SHERYL were over the top. They were attentive to all and friendly and happy throughout our stay. We enjoyed hanging with them daily.
Cons- could use some cosmetics inside and out but remember they are still recovering from the major hurricane they endured in October. We gave them a pass on this. Enjoy!

I found the male staff members to be very flirtatious and sexually forward in a way that made me feel uncomfortable as a female traveling alone. It felt very unprofessional. My air conditioner leaked a giant puddle on the floor and even though I mentioned it several times, it took them three days to fix it. The outlets don't work to charge a cell phone and I was left with a dead phone for 48 hours. I didn't find the buffet until the last day. It wasn't a great experience.

Room was very dated but clean, water in shower kept going cold then hot ,service was ok when after they saw tips were coming, some were very nice some ignored you. Half of the resteraunts were closed, not much entertainment except for 2 nights except after 11 the nest opened mostly just a dj but not many people went because resteraunts and beach bar starts closing a little after 10 and then theres nothing else going on . The michael jackson show was fun. I went by the website about resteraunts and it looked fabulas. I have been to Jamaica 4 times and the first three were so wonderful you felt so happy everyone working there wanted you to have and enjoyable stay. And if you needed something or asked a question they would either takecare of it or find someo e who could. But at this one, if you needed a beach towel you better get thete early and i was so i got one but i was just walking up and someone else asked for one at about noon and the girl said can i have a towel and the staff said we dont have any they,are out, she asked when could she come back and get one, the staff said i dont know. Not let me fi d out or ill let you know just nope dont know. Ü nobody was happy with the resort but the beach was beautiful and everything was there. You just didn't have what you're used to when you've been to a really, you know, they didn't have enough staff. And it was like the service was so slow and you know, they didn't have any beach people that were serving you drinks and stuff.

The beach is absolutely the best part of this resort. The water, sand, and overall setting are beautiful, and the main reason I’d consider returning. Captain Sheldon was also a major highlight and gave us one of the most genuine, memorable experiences of the trip.

Unfortunately, the resort itself did not live up to the “Gourmet Inclusive” or luxury branding for us. The food was disappointing and repetitive, and the service was inconsistent. While some staff members genuinely cared, concerns often felt passed around without real follow-through.

Carlos from restaurant management deserves real credit for listening and making sincere efforts to improve our experience. However, the overall management response felt lacking, and I did not feel our concerns were handled with the level of care expected from a resort at this level.

The photography experience was also disappointing. While the photographer was talented, the communication felt overly pressured, including being told the photos could be deleted within 24 hours. The editing quality also did not meet expectations, and raw images were not provided.

Overall: a beautiful beach and a few standout staff members, but the food, consistency, management follow-through, and photography experience fell short of what we expected from this property. I would return for the beach, not for the resort experience itself.

Azul Beach Resort Negril was a relaxing and beautiful escape. The beachfront is stunning—calm turquoise water, soft sand, and sunsets that really slow you down.

The resort itself is easy to navigate and has a comfortable, laid-back feel that makes it simple to unwind. Rooms were clean, airy, and well-suited for a beach vacation.

The staff were friendly, though the marketing team can be a bit persistent at times. Once I firmly declined, they respected it and remained pleasant throughout the stay.

I also really appreciated the gift shops along the beach—it was convenient to browse without ever leaving the shoreline.

Overall, it’s not overly flashy luxury, but a soft, peaceful stay with an incredible beach that makes it worth it.

I had an ocean view suite which was excellent and spacious. The staff was very helpful and friendly, JJ and Michael lifeguards between building 9 and 11 and Marvin concierge for building 10 were amazing. Grounds and room very clean, however no elevators 3rd floor wasn’t bad but if stairs are trouble for you request 1st floor.

No ice machines anywhere so if you need ice your at the mercy of the pool bars which close at 5pm or have to walk it to the lobby before the last bar closes at 1am.

Food wise if you miss breakfast that ends at 11:00, you hav no options besides the coffee bar with limited pickings until 12:30/1:00. Once the pool grill closes at 5pm you have nothing until dinner which is from 6-10pm but what they don’t inform you of is the last seating is at 9:30.

If you’re looking for lively nighttime activities this isn’t the place. The entertainment team does shows nightly that end early and the Rasta Bar/club was never crowded open till 1am.

Clean rooms/grounds, great beach, food was meh and lack of availability of food and drinks was a big downfall.

We went into this trip a little nervous after reading so many negative reviews—but wow, this resort completely exceeded our expectations.

The food was a highlight, with plenty of great dinner options, but the Asian restaurant was hands down the best—absolutely worth going more than once. The beach was honestly one of the most beautiful we’ve experienced: soft white sand, calm blue water, just perfect for relaxing.

Our swim-up room was a total game changer and easily one of our favorite parts of the stay.

What really made the trip, though, was the staff. Huge shoutout to JJ, Marian at the buffet, “Boss Man” from security, and Prince, TT, and Sheldon. Their energy, kindness, and attention to detail made all the difference.

So glad we didn’t let the reviews scare us off—this turned out to be an amazing getaway.

Chambre vue mer 425, terrible odeur durant 4 jours. Malgré plusieurs avis c’est mon conjoint qui a trouvé le problème et il a du insister pour que quelqu’un vienne enfin régler la chose. Notre chambre était situé derrière la piscine animée !!! Préparer vous pas moyen de se reposer…. Prévoyez donner du pourboire pour vos chaises de plage. Les live guard mettent des serviettes pour qu’on croit que les chaises ne sont pas libre et ainsi se rendre indispensables…$$$ les serviettes un autre histoire. Apportez vous des débarbouillettes car le service des serviettes est terrible. Mini bar juste de la bière …

It’s simply one of the most beautiful hotel resorts on Seven Mile Beach. Nestled in an art deco style, it is perfectly maintained, with a stunning sandy beach set among gentle shade, palm trees, and other local vegetation. The water is calm, with almost no waves—sometimes a bit shallow, but every place has its trade-offs. The food is excellent, high-quality, with Jamaican cuisine highly recommended, while they also do a great job with international dishes. Overall, I’d say the entire property feels like one large Caribbean spa.

Clean room, although we had to change rooms in the middle of our two week stay. There were limited clean towels available in the morning but a staff members would come by in the afternoon and offer to secure us some. The beach was the highlight of the trip but my husband had to wake up at 4 am to go out and out our stuff on a chair to have a spot secured on the beach and even after all that we would wake up at 7 and come out to the lifeguards moving our stuff for people who would tip them for a spot. We went from april 3-15 (Easter and carnival) a busy time but the grill restaurant was only open once during this time and the Thai, and italian were on a rotating basis. This listing is a bit deceptive because it mentions 4 or more restaurants but really there are 2 buffets in the morning, a few places open during the day and the 3 restaurants rotate their closing with no communication to guests. You could literally walk across the resort and get to the Italian restaurant only to find out it’s not open and now you have to walk all the way back to the other end. I saw the pools being cleaned by lifeguards and skimmed in the morning but the pool by the lacklustre lobby and the pool by the water rental place were never clean. There were many memorable staff that helped with issues whenever they could but there was definitely a miss communication with work orders taking a while to fill. We had a wonderful time at Azul. The family sized room was perfect for our girls trip. Most of the staff were fantastic. The food was decent and the resort is large so lots of space. The Spa was exceptional and the beach breathtaking .
The resort does need some updates for sure. The boardwalks are starting to have old sagging wood. And none of the pools had shade or loungers for folks. The day bed cushions are worn out. However we had a fabulous time. We loved the foam party and the daily activity options.
It was our first time in Jamaica and we will definitely be back.

Pictures are deceiving. Looks great online, but not the best in person, specifically the rooms. They don’t provide towels daily, as you have to ask for them, if you want fresh ones. The food options are not the best. Website shows more options and the opening hours is not the best. Overall the food is just okay. They also have a lack of enough patio/beach chair and covering of shade. They are lacking in providing update maintenance on items:cabanas, beach chairs, lighting, overhead cover on a lunch building, and wood flooring by pools.

Beware to be scammed at the resort !! I was given the name of O’Brien Fortnite transportation to the airport. He charged me $70 for the VIP lounge and express immigration line.. He never sent me any confirmation by email and when I arrived to the airport, to the VIP lounge, there was no reservation in my name. I called the resort and they transferred me to several department, but no one helped me.. the gentleman who scammed me was in the hotel, and everybody knew him.. I do not recommend a place. No one wants to be scammed.!!

My family found Azul to be a beautiful resort in a fantastic location in Negril. The beach is calm and warm- just steps from hotel rooms. All the staff was excellent during every encounter- kind, polite, friendly, & helpful. There may have been 1 or 2 times a server was quiet/aloof but never rude. Tipping 1-2 dollars per service was very common here but servers were thankful and didn't automatically expect it. The rooms were quite comfortable and any signs of being outdated were minimal. The beds were great and the whole resort was very clean at all times. The shower was spacious but water pressure and temp would fluctuate from warmish to hot to cold and would turn to a literal trickle for 5 seconds before returning to normal. This occurred all week, no matter the time of day- weird but tolerable. There is a lack of towels that was not addressed by management. If you leave dirty towels for housekeeping they are not replaced. There are no bath mats and you have to get up before 8:00am to get pool/beach towels. They do not get refilled for the rest of the day unless a beach attendant pities you or you gave them a good tip the day before. Bringing your own beach towels & floats is your best bet. If you want a cabana/bed or even chairs, you have to save them before 7:00am. The food was nothing special. There was plenty to eat but the buffets were boring. The coffee bar was great. Overall it was a wonderful trip, but you should know it's not quite 5-star excellence...

Pools are great and the beach is beautiful with plenty of trees, cabanas and lawn chairs. There are high chairs in all restaurants. Use bug spray for ackee restaurant. Food and drinks is good. Overall staff is amazing. I would recommend this place for families. I would come back again. Our favourite people are Flame, T.T., aqua sports rental staff including Ashley and the other lady, Travis and the guy always under the tree on the beach.

Mr. BTTO and the activities staff were truly fabulous. Our family especially enjoyed the daily beach volleyball at 11—it was a highlight of our trip. The evening entertainment was also wonderful, and the staff throughout the resort were consistently friendly and welcoming. The people and beach were the highlights of our trip.

That said, the resort itself is quite outdated and in need of significant repairs. Many of the walkways and decks felt worn and unsafe in places. The pool area lacked enough lounge chairs, making it difficult for families to relax outside of the water. The beach cabanas also need attention—cushions were dirty, ripped and everything appeared worn down.

The food was what you expect for an all inclusive. Some good and some was not so great.

Unfortunately, our room was also disappointing. The sofa bed was very dirty, and the mattress had springs poking through, making it unusable. As a result, our fifth family member had to sleep in our king bed. We were told this issue couldn’t be fixed during our stay. The cleaning staff were great! She kept the room clean during our stay. They did a great job restocking waters and sodas.

Overall, while the staff and activities were excellent, the condition of the resort and accommodations needs serious improvement.
