This has to be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at by far! From the views, the cleanliness of the hotel including the room, the staff was phenomenal and the location was perfect for eating at Michelin star restaurants right across from the hotel. This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway!! I WILL be returning again!!

This hotel has the best view from our balcony and hotel rooftop. It’s within walking distance to Grand Palace, Wat Pho, flowers market, 3 minutes ferry to Wat Arun. Hotel staff are very friendly and thoughtful. The only drawback is that the room and shower is small. However I would recommend to all my friends because its location, view and friendly staff. Thanks to their excellent service, we had a wonderful time.

The hotel is just next to riva arun pier to go to wat pho pier for cheap and nice view. It's situated in the old part of bangkok in which I really like and they are next to two michelin restaurant in which you definitely need to try. By night you will see the wat pho lighted

First of all, the location can’t be beat. The rooms are clean and bed was comfy. There is just no space for luggage. No luggage rack. Feng shui of rooms is terrible. We had to get creative to access our clothing. Other than that, we really liked it.

Uncomfortable for us if we had the curtains open to see the view Wat Arun. When I called the desk and asked if we could be moved they said while they were full that night if we packed our bags and left them in the room when we went out the next day they would move us as we were there 4 nights. Smooth as clockwork. Definitely recommend a stay

The hotel is amazing value for the location, within walking distance of Wat Pho, the Grand Palace and the Rainer Chao Praya River Express boat stop. Their staff are welcoming, friendly, and went the extra mile in serving us, starting with a slice of cake to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The view at night from the rooftop restaurant over the river of Wat Arun, Wat Pho and the Grand Palace are astounding! We had a Deluxe river-facing room on the 3rd floor with a great view of Wat Arun. The restaurants below close at 10pm so we had peaceful nights sleep. The food was really good, equivalent in taste to the Michelin star restaurant opposite ( Rongros). A fantastic experience all round!

The room was comfortable and clean. The location is superb - walkable to the Flower market, Wat Pho and the Grand Palace. A ferry stop was just a few steps away from the hotel entrance and took you right across the river to Wat Arun. Plus there are many restaurants to choose from. So convenient! Highly recommend!

Totally recommend the location and unless you need a swimming pool, this is the undiscovered gem boutique hotel with excellent local restaurants within yards. Close to What Pho, Wat Arun and Grand Palace. The Khoisan Road is only 25 minutes walk away. The area itself is local and great restaurants very close by.

We stayed at Riva Arun in February 2024 and it was fantastic. Great location on the river with an amazing view of the gorgeous Wat Arun and all the colorful river boat traffic at night. So much to do nearby, restaurants, shops, nightlife! We were surprised to get a room upgrade that included a beautiful terrace overlooking the Chao Phraya. Staff was wonderful and rooms luxurious. Would stay here again no question!!!

By the pics online I thought the hotel was right on the water, it is not. There is a restaurant in front of it. The hotel rooftop view is the view online. Great view from up there. Staff was helpful, room was clean and the shower was great. No problem getting hot water.

This is the very best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, in all my travels around Asia. The staff are incredibly kind and guest-obsessed. As a boutique hotel with only 25 rooms, they are able to learn about each guest, like remembering 2 nights later that hubby & I like our cocktails with less/ no added sweetness. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming and the housekeeping team keep the room spotless. The crisp, freshly pressed bed linens are sure to impress! Would live here if I could. ❤️

This one is special because it is situated across the river from the amazing Wat Arun, and the room I had looked directly at it, lit up at night, it’s an amazing way to ease into your Bangkok trip. It’s also conveniently located a 2 min walk to Wat Pho where you can catch the reclining Buddha and other neat temple and/or river taxi attractions.

Fab, but...
This is a great small hotel, the premium jacuzzi rooms are superb. The only letdown is check-in, it took almost hale an hour. There were at least six staff there more interested in serving iced coffee. I had to ask FOUR times before someone finally did what was needed, three minutes work took half an hour, very poor front of house with staff acting like children and no-one knowing what anyone was doing.

For tourist purposes, this was a great location with most of the main tourist sights within walking distance. The room is smaller than it appeared in the pictures - especially the bathroom. I was not a fan of all of the mirrors but I guess it does help make the room reel a little bigger. Our room did have an amazing view of Wat Arun across the river which is why I am giving this place 4 stars instead of three. It is located on little one-way street, and it seemed like we had to walk past a lot of garbage on the block to get to our hotel. In hindsight, I would have made the taxi driver take us to the front door of the hotel when we first arrived so we would have had a better first impression. The room was cleaner than it felt at first too. There was discoloration on the door and frame which may have been just a poor choice in paint colors. I wiped the room down with cleanup sheets, and it was still pretty clean afterwards. The toilet and shower in the small bathroom are separated by a shower curtain which also looked dirty. With all of the negative stuff out of the way, I have to say that the staff was amazingly helpful with any questions about the hotel, restaurants, and visiting the nearby sites. Speaking of restaurants, there two really good ones right across the street; Supanniga and Rongos. I have to say that if I were to return to Bangkok, I would try to find a more modern hotel in a different location.
