Avoid this hotel, this hotel should not even be on Expedia! Picture of the bar on the listing is deceiving but the hotel is old, smells like cigarettes and outdated. Overall a very disappointing stay with very bad customer service.
Car was damage in the garage with no one taking any sort of responsibility, hotel was under construction so no pool but we were not notified before our arrival, lobby and common areas smelled like cigarette. Do yourself a favor and skip this hotel as there are so many other options that are better in Granada.

We came with our car, because there is ‘parking available’ option on their website. However, when we arrived there they said parking 21 Euro per night. I told them there is nothing about on their website, staff said you can park in the street. As you know it is impossible to find space in the street. Plus points, hotel close to bus stops and center. minus points, the hotel is very tired, bedroom very worn. Just 2 coffee pods per day, no milk,no tea. I complained to the hotel but they would not under any circumstances recognise Hotel.com’s membership benefits, they ignored my Plantinum status completely, didn’t even offer a glass of water. In the last 12 months we’ve stayed 36 days in Granada we love it. We have stayed in the Barceló Congress, Senator and Andalucia centre, all were much better with cheaper and much better quality breakfasts, we were treated much better as well. We will be back in Granada soon in 2025 but we will not go back to the hotel Saray, nor would we recommend it. The Hotel Saray was very disappointing, no customer care whatsoever, the other hotels we mentioned are far far superior.

Go past the main building & sharp turn right immediately down a narrow steep ramp. Liked the coffee machine in room. Only complaint no plugpoint next to bed to charge phone. Will definitely use again.

I liked the decoration and aesthetics of the hotel and the staff at the counter. In the 3 days I didn't go swimming in any of them, despite the extreme temperature. because the area is too small for so many people and on top of that there is no separate pool for the kids which makes it even more confusing. The room is satisfactory and so is the breakfast area. But I'm not considering going back.

Not hospitable. We were delayed and tried to change booking after midnight cut off, it was not granted. We still had to pay for both rooms. I understood but I have traveled a lot, had my flight delayed for various reasons and never had a hotel change me for a night I didn’t stay. Tacky. There is not coffee in your room and no place to boils water. The shower water doesn’t get hot. The rooms are worn down but the beds were comfortable. The bedding is adequate. The towels were old and scratchy. The breakfast buffet is mediocre and not included. One morning we arrived at the breakfast buffet in an elevator, a staff member told us about. They said we should use it since we have a stroller as it goes all the way to the lower level where the buffet is located. When we came out in the lower level, Manager came up to us and said we couldn’t use it and tried to make us go up and around. We didn’t have much time before breakfast was over and that would have caused us to kiss it. When we passed through a wait person yelled at us to hurry up and eat and that we had five minutes only! I said we didn’t want to impose and would gladly take a refund (50$ two adults two children) and go elsewhere. A nice employee told us to stay and we did but talk about rude! Quite a few rude and aggressive employees who work for an owner presumably with cut throat policies. I would not recommend.

A pleasant lobby area and checked in by a very friendly member of staff. Comfortable and clean room. Swimming pool seemed to be closed. Location is good for public transport connections to bus, train station and to Alhambra. Also an easy walk to the Cathedral.

We really enjoyed Saray Hotel. The bed was comfortable and staff was great about our requests for more pillows and called us taxis every day. The room was large and clean, it was nice to have the desk! We liked being able to go to the pool each day and ate at the restaurant for lunch one day. The food was good but a little expensive. The only negative is that the hotel is about a 20min walk from downtown and everything involves more walking. We were able to take cheap 5 euro cabs to get to sites each time though so it wasn't a bad tradeoff to stay at such a nice hotel with a great price! there were also a few good restaurants nearby. We loved muchamiga for breakfast.

The public spaces are large and styled according to the nearby Alhambra. The room we had wasn’t nearly as grand, but was extremely clean and while basic and simple, still comfortable and relaxing. It’s of the old fashioned sort of European hotel room: two twin beds pushed together for a “king” in a high ceilinged room. Lovely pool area, although as it is everywhere, not enough chairs. The best hotel restaurant we encountered in our month long trip in Spain. Qubba is superb! Delicious and gorgeous food and fabulous service.

Big resort style hotel very near to the city center. We stayed at a deluxe double room which had very nice decoration, seemed very new and was super clean and comfy. Air conditioned, which is key if you stay during summer. Staff is very friendly, and the pool area is very nice (pool itself is not huge, but plenty of space). I’d come back.

Check in was busy when we arrived so had to wait awhile. Staff were OK, but not overly friendly or helpful. Our room on the 6th floor was comfortable, but decor was dated. The mattress and shower were good. AC was effective. No glasses or cups were provided for drinking from. Car parking was an extra 18 Euros for overnight. Location was OK, about a 20 min walk to the old town shops and restaurants along flat roads. We didn't get to use the pool; it's not open before 12 noon.

A fabulous stay. Just a shame the pool is closed in the mornings for deep cleaning post-Covid19. Not their fault as it has to be done, but we had planned a morning by the pool for our last day there. In the current climate, don't bother with breakfast. There are plenty of options around.
