Last year when we stayed there we had a nice complimentary buffet breakfast. This year there was no breakfast unless you ordered off an expensive menu. We didn't realize they had no complimentary breakfast or that it changed from last year or we would have gone somewhere else cheaper with a breakfast!

THE STAFF WAS GREAT! THE HOTEL COULD USE SECURITY ON THE PROPERTY TO MANAGE THE UNRULY KIDS THAT RUN THROUGH THE HASS YELLING, SCREAMING AND TRASHING FLOORS. I HAD MY GRANDCHILDREN AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO MONITOR OTHER KIDS STAYING AT THE HOTEL. IT IS NOT ONLY DISRUPTIVE TO OTHER GUESTS, BUT IT IS UNSAFE FOR THESE TEENAGERS TO RUN FREE LIKE THEY WERE.

The room wasn't cleaned properly. Their was hair all over the bathroom floor, towels, and a strand of hair in the bed sheets. The shower water was ice cold and only hot one night out of our 3 night stay. The first night, there were teens running through the halls knocking on room doors at midnight and again at 2am.

I don't appreciate a knock on the door at 11:02am, with the staff stating you will be charged if you will stay until 12pm. It wasn't even a busy hotel. No indoor swimming pool when I specifically booked this hotel because of it. Definitely not coming back.

The facilities are beautiful. I loved the area of the pool and how the rooms had a back door with direct access to the pool. My family loved it. I just hoped the bathrooms were much cleaner, especially the shower.

The hallways and rooms seem to be a bit outdated, the pictures used on the site are not what is there. The chair by the desk in the room was dirty and stained, we put it to the side and didnt use it. The shower floor was dirty and parts of the bathroom walls needed repair.
The breakfast was good but you have to it it there, it cant be taken out. This should be changed as there are kids and adults that are not able to eat in an unfamiliar setting, or need accommodations, or prefer not to eat with strangers during this season due to the possibility of getting sick.
The person at check in was very nice and welcoming and checkout was simple. I wish i could attach the pictures to this review.

Rooms were old and dated. Carpet felt dirty and very trafficked. Bathroom shower caulking was discolored in many areas. Tile floor was gritty due to age. Breakfast was very subpar for being in their restaurant. Eggs were watery and lacked amenities that other hotel breakfasts normally include.

Hotel was an older establishment. Overall, it was kept clean. There was a somewhat musty odor in the room. It smelled like a cleaning product that was masking over another smell. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was not up to date and felt more like a bathroom that wasnt updated in the last 20 plus years.

Room was spacious, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The shower was roomy and high enough for me to wash my hair comfortably. I am 6-7. The shower had safety bars to hold onto.

The staff were professional, helpful, courteous. A minor adjustment on the TV was needed. It was addressed immediately.

Breakfast was excellent - a full breakfast with wide range of choices. Even the coffee was good (morning coffee in breakfast room). We plan to return next time we are in York.

Restaurant pricing was a bit outrageous for the portions/taste. Flatbread sauce was very bitter, side salad did not fill the container and a few toppings.

Found out the last night I stayed that breakfast was complementary. Would have been nice to know this when I checked in. The girl checking in only told me which door to drive to for my room- cool.

Housekeepers were very friendly and smiling!

Unfortunately the only good thing I can say is the staff was amazing. Great people, very helpful. Unfortunately they are at the mercy of whoever owns the hotel and isn’t shelling out for repairs and remodels. The carpets through all of the hallways is disgusting along with the walls, smells terrible. No amount of cleaning will fix it, it needs replacing and repainting. The rooms and hallways just have this terrible odor of old cigarettes and mold. Again, I don’t think this is anything the staff can’t control, it’s nothing that can be cleaned. With that being said the rooms were clean… just smelled. Hotel has a ton of potential, the pool and courtyard areas are very cool, pool was closed though. Whoever owns it needs to spend the money and update and repair/remove things.

We went 2 nights for rest for a wrestling tournament and wanted rest. The atrium was so loud of people screaming and we called the front desk to ask when quiet time and they said 11 PM. At 11:30 we called back and said if noise did stop , we were going to call the police. We were told to do what we needed to do. Had to turn off heater as it blew out a moldy smell!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Wyndham! Most hotels are a let down when I travel, but the staff were super kind and easy to talk to, the rooms were super clean, the included breakfast was above expectations, and even the soap on the showers were an amazing brand that I love (Beekman 1802)! Excellent hotel and service!

Everyone was very nice, polite & friendly during our stay. However, I wish it was a lil cleaner. There was boogies on the side of the bed & more lil ugh stuff. My main problem was wish online had been clearly communicated that the pool would be closed. By the time we arrived, we were already tired & had paid for the room, so I was disappointed to find out that we couldn’t use the pool as planned. I could have chosen another place where my child could enjoy swimming before bedtime, rather than having to entertain a toddler in a small room. Swimming would have helped him relax & go to sleep easily. For $160 a night? I expected access to all amenities, including the pool!!!! Totally disappointed. Honestly won’t be back.

I apparently did not register correctly with Expedia and Wyndham was expecting us for only 1 night. They were able to add the second night in the same room and gave us a bit of a discount.
The desk folks were very helpful. We especially enjoyed the breakfast options. I liked the fact that the hotel was fairly secluded and not on the main highway.

Our room wasn’t that clean. Dirty sheets and something brown on the wall near the trash can. Staff was excellent except the one female associate at Fenders restaurant. She told me she could not take my order for 20 minutes and then after could possibly. My dad went to the bar and his order was taken right away. She should have just said go to the bar.

Overall the experience was great. All of the staff were very hospitable and pleasant. The food in the restaurant was good. The breakfast buffet in the morning was awesome. They had cereal muffins, bagels, bread/toast, scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, yogurt with toppings, fruit, fried potatoes, bacon, a variety of milk and juice. Room was clean. Pool was fun!
