The Hotel was all the things you want. It was very clean, helpful staff, and you can't beat the view.

The room was updated and very nice. Clean and comfortable beds.The views were absolutely gorgeous. Both restaurants had great service and delicious food. Breakfast was included and had good variety to satisfy all your cravings (lots of pastries). The shuttle was available to take you to and from the ferry (free pick up but a 10 euro fee if you are leaving the hotel), as well as to the beach near by at no cost. The hotel is however walkable distance to both private beaches they had. You do need to rent chairs and an umbrella, which is 30 euro per couple. All together the service was great, the location is perfect, and the smaller private beach was absolutely stunning and less crowded. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

Great spot a little away from the busy town (still very walkable). The breakfast was amazing. Everybody was very friendly and helpful! The decor of the room was a little outdated but not bad. The chairs in the sitting area were a little dirty and torn. But a beautiful location!

This hotel has the most stunning views from the balcony, pool and restaurant. The hotel rooms was clean and comfortable, staff were polite and helpful and the location is a horrible walk from the beach and centre of town. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Our only concern was when our daughter checked in; we paid over 600.00 Euros but they were not polite and even after they charged us an additional 190.00 for her friends they made them feel unwelcome. In hindsight I should of rebooked them in a more welcoming accommodation however, my husband and I could not of been more pleased with the owner, Fabiono and staff .

For a 4 star hotel, we were disappointed with our room and the loud fireworks. The room was dated, had 3 beds in it, and tiny ants were getting inside the room from the patio. No one warned us that there would be fireworks shooting off from the hotel later that night. It sounded like they were right beside us, VERY loud, shocking us. Not a peaceful or quiet night's sleep. That said, the breakfast area and the food served for breakfast was a very nice space with excellent food. Also, we had drinks on the terrace of the main hall, and found that the bar service was excellent, as were our cocktails.
If you have a car: parking is impossible by yourself. They allow a third party to be available to take your car, park it, and bring it back to you. We were at their mercy. The hotel told us it would be 40 Euros, but when they brought the car, the man said because it was \"after noon\", it would be 60 Euros. Just be aware of that.

4) they have a beautiful rooftop pool. Unfortunately they closed it before 20:00 so could not take late day dip to cool off.

The hotel is at a beautiful location but the room, amenities and service provided for that price is absolutely not worth it. The room is pretty basic and they charge 300 euros a night for that(No breakfast or car park included) It’s a four star hotel and they couldn’t give wine glasses to the room. So it was disappointing. Plus the transport is very bad so can’t really get around

The views from the property are spectacular. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast is AMAZING! However, the property itself needs upgrading. If you stay between the rooms area and the upper floor restaurant and pool (which was closed when we stayed) you will be fine ;)

This property is a 3 star location at best. I gave them a 3 star rating on Google, they are trying to pretend it's not the correct property. The furniture in the rooms are old and over used, I had 2 hotel rooms. Both were identical. Infested with ants. At best it's a 3 star hotel. Don't be fooled. However, the location and view is fantastic. That does not change the condition of the rooms.

This stay was absolutely amazing! The location was not only stunning but also extremely convenient in regards to the beach and nearby restaurants. The best part of this beautiful hotel was by far the staff. They were the sweetest and extremely attentive to you and your experience. Extraordinary service that I can only applaud.
I only have a few improvement suggestions. The breakfast was not as good as I expect a 4-star hotel to be. There was a lot of cake which was beautiful, but I expected more for such a nice hotel.
Last thing; since the pool was closed for maintenance, it would have been an amazing touch with some discount for using the nearby beach. Having to pay 30 euros per day on top of the +2000€ for the stay is a bit much in my opinion. It would have been a nice touch to make up for the closed pool.
But all in all, incredible stay. I also splurged on the 7 course tasting dinner at the top restaurant and it was one of the best meals of my life!

We really liked the property. the rooms were lovely if a little bare bones - which I don't mind at all. The young woman concierge who helped us was fantastic. She helped us figure out what to do and was warm and welcoming. The food was a real disappointment. The restaurant describes a delicious breakfast included but it is not delicious. The man who waited on us was also not great. He asked us if we \"liked his service\" which was awkward and we hadn't really.

First time in the Amalfi Coast. We booked late in the season so ended up in Maiori. This hotel is very far from the main attractions like Positano and Capri, but we thought staying here would be worth it. Do not come here. Hotel looks like a hospital for the mentality insane. The hallways are all white and scary. Front desk personnel is extremely rude. They refused to assist us with a dinner reservation. No laundry service. First day, we consumed the 2 bottles of water left in the table and 2 inside the mini bar. They did not refill the water for the remainder of the stay. On the second day, I ordered water and never arrived. I ordered ice to cool our champagne bottle and were charged 5 euros. We have traveled the world and have never been charged for ice. The last day, we checked out at 4am because we had to catch our flight in Naples, we asked for water and the gentleman at the front desk told us that there was none available at that time. This is inhumane. My friend, which stayed with her husband in another room had the same experience. She had a headache and needed to drink a pill, but was refused water at checkout. This place is inhumane.

The views from this hotel were beautiful of both the sea and the surrounding area. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice and the staff were great. Only downsides are the walk from Maiori to the hotel in terms of no pedestrian path but it’s not a long walk at all, and we were told the private beaches were inaccessible when we arrived (May) but then heard reception booking someone on a few days later. Maybe a miscommunication. Other than that Maiori is a great location as plenty of ferries across the Amalfi coast and has a great stretch of beach with a number of top restaurants.

This hotel is very nice and overall I would say you would enjoy your stay here. The location of the hotel is not an issue within a short walk to the town and the valet gentlemen will assist you well if you come with a hire car. We had our issues with the management of this hotel over some points related to a private function but that's a very long story. I don't know many hotels that don't give you a complementary bottle of water every day for a room costing in excess of £300 a night as standard but I will still rate this hotel as the staff that will look after you very well do not deserve to suffer as a consequence of poor management. Maiori is a wonderful place.

Beautiful location and room - the Romantic suite really is fabulous, with the most amazing balcony and whirlpool bath. Everything was spotlessly clean. After an initial issue with noise of scraping chairs by the cleaners in the restaurant area above our suite at 6/6.30am for the first couple of mornings, they did resolve this and apologise. This property was amazing. The staff were friendly and everything was clean. Fantastic location because of the view. It has to have the best view in Maiori. It was only a 7-10 minute walk to boardwalk and beach and if need be, the bellman would drive you there for a very small fee. I was very impressed with our \"family\" room which is basically 2 bedrooms connected and our balcony was probably one of the best one's they had. The only issue I had was we were on the 7th floor and the 8th floor was the top. That's where the main restaurant was and pool. In the evening they had a singer and dancing until 12 midnight which made it a little hard to sleep because of it. But other then that, everything was perfect. I will be going back to Maiori again someday and when I do, I will be staying at the same hotel.

UNTRUSTWORTHY
Hopefully this candid review will help everyone. The main complaint is getting beat out of $40 Euros during check out. So, while checking out, the Associate says my bill for taxes etc was about $105 Euros. She further explained we can only see the breakdown after we pay. Afterwards, we of course get the receipt. There is an ambiguous $40 Euro charge, wherein even our Italian driver that was driving us to the airport was confused. So, he took it upon himself to call the hotel in route to the airport for further explanation. They indicated their \"system\" for ensuring beach towel return is the responsibility of the guest. HOWEVER, at check out we gave them the card. So, after speaking with them, they indicated it was a mistake. I paid with a VISA card. Simply credit the card $40 Euros, right? WRONG. One last ditch phone call 10 days ago, same promise, and still nothing. I frankly think this is a calculated ploy to extract \"miscellaneous monies\" at check out, specifically the ambiguous language. As for the hotel itself, its breakfast offerings were the best part. Room was basic, clean...however, a few ants.

Our stay at the hotel was really pleasant. If you want a quiet, relaxing holidays on the Amalfi Coast and get away from rowdy tourists, this is the place. It is located up in the hill, so may require a bit of effort to walk there, but for us at least you will not have to put up with the hustle and bustle of the main strip (although it's not crazy busy as the surrounding areas and is a short 2 mins walk away).

Great location and ambience. View from room was spectacular. Maiori is a little away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the Amalfi coast and was the perfect location for us. Only downside was there were ants in the room that came from the balcony. Would definitely stay there again

This a gem of a place - relaxing, traquil with amazing views. It was clean, friendly and served excellent food. A short walk into the town, which has plenty to offer. The pool is an oasis and parking not a problem. Higly recommended.

This hotel was quite wonderful and we woukd certainly stay there again My husband and I were on honeymoon and had a wonderful time. The views are truly spectacular. We had a panoramic double room. The staff were incredibly polite and polished. The included breakfast offered a vast array of choices and was served overlooking the ocean. We had dinner there two of the nights which was also amazing. The port for water taxi to other places along the Amalfi coast is right nearby and there are three Beach choices within easy walking distance. One thing worth mentioning is that there are frequent weddings held there on any given day and there is some noise from music etc but it did not bother us too much. Another thing is that the pool closes at 6pm which I found to be a bit early since the heat of summer is intense and a cool dip would be nice at the end of a day. Otherwise everything was great!

Beautiful location and views, well positioned on the hill and close to shops, restaurants and beaches. However very little service received at the hotel. Lack of food options throughout day. No room service available. Lack of mini bar items (not even coffee available in room). Only 1 restaurant serving food in hotel with 2 hours of operation throughout the entire day only at dinner and very limited menu items which were expensive and did not cater for individual taste or need. Was fine dining / al a carte which meant no casual options or easy snacks for those who needed a quick grab and go or easy relaxation after a big day of travelling (not everyone feels like dressing up in black tie attire to dine at the hotel after a long day) As 90% of the restaurants in the Maiori town serve basically the same menu items, this makes it even more difficult to find food you haven’t eaten for breakfast lunch and dinner each day. As far as rooms, they were clean, spacious and items restocked daily, however old fashioned and did not make you feel as though on holiday. Shower was tiny and extremely hard to move around... (even for a thin female 5’6”) View from outside room was nice. Upstairs pool & dining area was modern & renovated which looked beautiful overlooking panoramic Amalfi coast. Breakfast there in the morning was tasty, nice arrangement of fresh cakes & pastries, fruits, juices etc however did lack in hot foods. All in all, the experience wasn’t the worst, however could improve

We were looking for a resort type hotel. This was the closest thing we could find. Beautiful views. Small pool. Nice rooms. Horrible showers. Shower is roughly 2’x2’. It’s small. On the flip side water pressure is great. Mattress was good, memory foam. The morning buffet could be so much better and for the price I paid should have been a highlight but it was mediocre at best. The lunch and dinner menu is the same every day. Also it’s a 150 euro taxi ride from Naples airport to the hotel. So add 300 to the budget.

The hotel is very conveniently located and the view of the sea from balcony is simply breathtaking. Rooms were neat and clean and spacious. While booking the hotel, website mentioned free parking but hotel charged daily parking fee of Euro 15. On the whole, stay was very comfortable.

We booked 2 rooms at this hotel. One of the rooms was full of ants. We woke up in the middle of the night with ants on our pillows. After we told the staff at the check-in, we were told that manager was not available. We contacted them through email and they offered to give us a voucher at their restaurant (which was closed). I would not recommend this hotel.

Had a room with an incredible balcony overlooking the Coast in Maiori. Hotel has an updated pool lounge area with service. Breakfast is prepared every morning. We liked bringing it down to our room, but the quality of the breakfast was overall subpar (the pros of the hotel far outweigh this con). We did notice that at the time we went there happened to be a much older crowd (we're in our early 30s) but it didn't deter from our trip as nightlife was not our focus. Maiori has a small town feel with less tourists, more bang for your buck (including restaurant prices) if you compare to Amalfi or Positano. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Maiori center where you can catch a bus (tickets purchased in tabacchi's) and a 10 minute walk to the ferries (can take you to Amalfi, Positano, Capri etc.) Transportation by bus or ferries is all relatively cheap. Recommended restaurants to try that are right near by are Torre Normanna (a castle on the water from the 1200s) and Dedalo (Quaint restaurant in town located on Corso Regina). Would recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a less 'toursity' area of the Amalfi Coast.

The restaurant and pool are on the 8th floor and are fabulous!!! You cannot find a better view and better food anywhere in the world.

The hotel clerk said to us \"if you should chose to leave the premises here are a few things to do\". We thought that was odd since we planned to travel but once we got into the room, saw the terrace and checked out the cave to swim in, we couldn't imagine why anyone would leave. The room had ants and that was a minor annoyance but the room was amazing with a huge balcony. The food was great and swimming in the cave was one of the best things from our trip.

Amazing views and very clean. Rooms are dated; however, the restaurant and pool area are both modern and impressive. Service is excellent and most of the staff were pleasant. 5 minute walk to beach/town and 5-10 minutes to restaurants. Nice breakfast was included. Lunch or dinner for 25 euro. Mix of families, couples, and singles. Not a party spot. Extended my stay by a day. I will be returning next summer.

The view from this place is really classy. Eating breakfast out on the balcony is a really nice experience. It is nice a quiet away from town about 500 meters but you have a great view of the cost and beach. The food is really good and the staff are excellent. Fabio Rocco and all the staff are excellent!
