Really hard time with the booking and breakfast included. They didn’t had the information in the computer and they refused to give me my breakfast included. I was here 10 years ago and nothing has changed, so it all feels and looks so outdated. The rooms have outdated fans that sound like it's about to fall off, old beds, poor bathroom lighting, broken door handles, hard to open sliding door to patio, etc. The restaurant menu also outdated, food was just OKAY, they should add new dishes and desserts. Poolside bars were mostly closed, when opened they lacked water and ice. The servers were unfriendly, had to ask several times for drinks and always got an attitude or just ignored all together. I booked a massage, but the masseuse was a no show after waiting 15 minutes, 30mins to get a refund for that. I was then approached by one of their \"club med\" like sales person, said I would get a \"free\" room for a night in one of their hotels if I listened to their sales pitch for 20mins, which I did and they had me running around to get the \"free\" room voucher, which ended up not being \"free\". You actually have to pay $54 and it comes with several rules and regulations on how and when you get to use it making difficult for you to actually use. Needless to say, this was not a great visit to this resort, won't be coming back. I would recommend Oceana resort near the same area, much more modern, cleaner, friendly staff and great food and atmosphere.

The bathroom near the snack area was soiled... Disgusting!. They should keep it clean. The pool by the hotel was closed for renovation, only the pools at the beach club were open. They should have made renovations before the busy season... it was full and Hotel guests did not have the option to use the closer pool, only the ones also open to day-pass visitors.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff, the only thing was the air condition machine seems it would need service or change as it didn´t cool as it should, also if you need to get out of parking it´s difficult as you need to get your parking ticket stamp by hotel and there are a lot of queues at lobby.

They offered “Free WiFi” but it did not work. They told us it would be fixed soon, but it was not and they told us only in the Lobby it works. For a tourist that requires WiFi for business needs, it’s most important. There is no fridge or microwave in our room. Contacting the lobby takes a long time because there’s not enough staff. Other than that, the location, pool, and breakfast was good

Good for weekends or short stays-which is the main purpose of the hotel. We needed a place to stay for a week due to work. As a result of Covid19 room cleaning was done upon request. Laundry service was on time, no issues, and had to be collected at the lobby.
Had breakfast everyday at 7am, never tried any other meal. Fruits most of the times were a bit underripe or not sweet. Eggs a la carte or central American breakfast were always available.
Gardens are kept clean and tidy all the time, but the gardener usually started at 5am to blow the leaves-get some earplugs.

It was beautiful. The pool was really nice albeit very warm from the sun. The pool has a swim up bar which was awesome but the drinks are expensive. I liked the ceviche that I ordered from the menu but the buffet was $30 and it wasn’t good. Also I was sad because Expedia advertised the location as having two jacuzzi’s but when I arrived one had cold water and the other was drained when I asked the front desk if they can heat up the water they said no. Bummer.

Sin embargo no me gusto que las camas de playa tuvieran en tan mal estado los colchones, tampoco me gusto que habiendo tanto personal de mantenimiento hubieran partes de los caminamientos y áreas comunes con tantas hojas hojas secas. El menú de restaurante me parecio muy bien, pero me hubiera gustado que hubiera un menu diferente para la cena con algo más tradicional, pues tuve que salir del hotel a cenar a otro lugar ya que el menu que me ofrecieron fue el mismo del almuerzo y como ultima recomendación deberían de prohibir que la gente ingrese a las instalaciones de las habitaciones con ropa mojada, pues el piso de los elevadores estaba muy sucio de lodo por la misma gente que ingresa sin haberse secado completamente y eso que habían suficientes toallas en cada habitación para secarse bien al salir de la piscina.

El menú de restaurante me parecio muy bien, pero me hubiera gustado que hubiera un menu diferente para la cena con algo más tradicional, pues tuve que salir del hotel a cenar a otro lugar ya que el menu que me ofrecieron fue el mismo del almuerzo y como ultima recomendación deberían de prohibir que la gente ingrese a las instalaciones de las habitaciones con ropa mojada, pues el piso de los elevadores estaba muy sucio de lodo por la misma gente que ingresa sin haberse secado completamente y eso que habían suficientes toallas en cada habitación para secarse bien al salir de la piscina.

we enjoyed that small water park area for the kids. the pool closest to us was not cleaned initially; we did not have a washer/dryer unit in the bungalow. Our dishwasher was not attached to the counter and we would have to make sure that when we opened the door, the trays would not handle spill its contents to the floor. the staff did not clean the kitchen at all which was very different than any other place we have stayed. the hot tub in the back needed to always be drained and cleaned. there was no filter.

You have to wear wrist arm bands. I do not lije this because its a private entry point with Secutity to come on to the property. I do not like the beach its ERODED. When you approach you come to the edge. Its good for young people who can run down the embankment onto the beach BUT NOT GOOD FOR OLDER PEOPLE...they will have difficulty running down to get to the beach and a hard time climbing back up to get to the top.

Nice pools and beach and outdoor facilities which is what you go there for. The rooms arent great but adequate and you wont spend much time in them. The food and booze is typical all incusive decent. The staff is nice. If you are needing somerhing extra or special a well placed tip will not hurt ;). Had a great time renting a four wheeler on beach and driving it to a the little restaurants up the beach.20 bucks an hour best deal there :)

Like other Guatemala Pacific coast resorts this hotel tends to be inundated with day troopers.from the capital on the weekend and is very quiet on weekdays. And like the others it has a black sand beach with fairly treacherous swimming conditions in the sea. This hotel has large gardens and pools and a friendly, hardworking staff. Wifi fairly reliable. A downside is expensive food and very few alternatives in the area.

Everything was under maintenance and could really do anything. The pools were dirty with leaves and other things. The beaches didn’t have any of the things they advertised in their pictures. It ruined our anniversary vacation. Too bad.

Quick check in and great service. Great entrance and property but rooms not nice and very dirty. Food ok needed more flavor or undercooked. Pool closed too early by 6 for adding of chemical. There was only one big pool so I think cleaning should later. Rarely had towels and our room was ready late to check in.

Great property with black sand beach
The property and beach were amazing. The Pool was nice, and the beach, with its black sand was great. The ocean has a lot of under tow in the area, so it is not great for casual swimming. We did have a great time playing in the waves and body surfing though. The rooms were nice, but the WiFi was weak in the rooms. The staff was great, and some could speak English. The restaurants were also quite good. The location is a little remote, but you don't need to leave once you get there.
