-1 for (what might be semen) on the tv
-1 for the “breakfast” that consisted of only cereal with no milk.

According to the calculations we end up with 1 star for the stay.

The bathrooms were not very clean. The towels were not clean at all. I ended up drying loft with a hand towel. The staff was super nice. Although there were bedbugs found in the room so I ended up having to put my belongings in a trash bag to seal them until I got home and could sanitize everything.

Oh gosh… please don’t stay here. The amount of mold would make you cautious to even shower here. Had to wear socks and luckily brought our own pillows. Breakfast was two options of stale cereal.

Room, Staff misleading us about WiFi, Staff not cleaning room properly

From the moment we walked in the room, we could tell the stay was going to be subpar. There was a very strong smell in the room that about knocked me over, like someone had cleaned with Clorox or something like that. The lamps had rust on them. The beds were hard and squeaked. Walls had spots where there was either no paint or they had painted a slightly different cover over. There were cobwebs everywhere, in the corners and the ceilings. Knats were flying around and a small spider dropped down on my face from the ceiling. The person staying with me went to the office after the first night and told them. He asked for a broom so he could get the cobwebs. During the night I heard gunshots and also smelled marijuana. I did not walk barefoot - one time I stepped on the floor and it was extremely sticky. When I took my shower I noticed some small holes in the bathroom by the shower. No one repaired them; they stuffed each hole with toilet paper. REALLY!?! Who does that?
When I ran the water, it sounded like someone was vacuuming. We didn’t feel too safe either seeing as how the safety latch on the door was half gone. One other thing - no WiFi! We were told by the man at the lobby that the WiFi should be up by Saturday morning (we came in Friday evening). But we never had it.
Overall, this was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel.
I do not recommend.

THEY DIDNT HAD HOT WATER on the entire hotel, we asked for a different room because we thought it was only our room problem and the person in the reception said there was no point of switching rooms because the whole hotel had no HOT WATER, and told us to contact Expedia for support!!

The pot hole at the entrance to the hotel’s parking lot felt like it would almost swallow my Truck. The entrance door to the room had a gap around it, so bad that we put a chair in front of the door. The smell from whatever they used to clean the room was so overwhelming that we left at 0400 in the morning. The pictures showed on this site for the hotel does not look like that now. I believe the
picture was taken before the hotel was sold to current owners. The hotel looks nothing like it is portrayed in the photos on Expedia.

Condition of the room was horrible. Front door jam looked like the door had been kicked in. Walls had been damaged and severely scratched. Shower rod had been pulled from the wall, replaced but not finished out. The small clothes’ rack was damaged. Overall, I was really disappointed with how this place had been represented.

Economy stay, not ideal for women or children

Room was in disrepair and barely wiped down. I had to use my own wipes on surfaces as I had small children with me. Sheets were clean and no sign of bugs but only two thin pillows per bed. A single man probably wouldn't mind but I wish I had known how dirty the room was because I never would have booked for my family. Shower had hair in it and no stopper. Hairdryer was broken. Carpet and ironing board were terribly stained. Front desk staff was very welcoming and informative but the room was in very bad shape.

It smelled clean but it felt dirty. I think that they shouldn’t advertise continental breakfast if it was only cereal and also the lamps were rusted and the walls were missing paint. I think little small touches would bring more business and better reviews and maybe bring in some fruit and bagels to add to the breakfast at the very least. The staff was really nice though.

This was second worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Dirty, broken, and uncomfortable. We has a guy above us that stomped the floor until midnight. The TV was horrible. There were no usb outlets. The shower curtain did not cover the shower, so water went all over the floor. I have stayed in hotels all over the wprld and the only one worse than this was in Morroco.

My stay was absolutely horrible! I had my grandchild with me,the room was unsanitary we were bitten all night by mosquitoes,we didn’t get any sleep and the front desk had no solution to the problem. I recommend if you can get a room anywhere else but there.

Nasty!

Nasty room. Holes in the blanket and soap scum all over the tub. The wash clothes smelt dirty, human odor. I used the hand towel to wash my face instead. I did not sleep under the sheets. Kept my clothes on. Only thing decent was the refrigerator. Paid decent money for nothing. Econo lodge copied my license. Felt violated as if we were criminals.

Checked in late due to travel and there was a large area of blood on the wall of the room. Since i was traveling with my grandchild who was exhausted, it was reported at 6am. Their only response was \"I'll tell him\". Not sure how this could have been missed and absolutely unacceptable.

People Make The Difference

Basic accommodations. Staff was excellent. Very helpful about questions we had for restaurants. They even BROUGHT us extra towels. Appears to be a family business, and they take pride in making a basic accommodation as pleasant as possible. Not glamorous but would stay again for the nice staff. Hot breakfast was not available so we dined in town.

Not worth the stop.

Only thing great about this hotel was the polite reception person. Room had very dirty floors.Bathroom toilet so dirty! I cleaned it myself to use it. Windows so filthy couldn't see out. Note:Area sketchy, liquor store beside hotel. Be aware-people hanging around it all hours making noise at 1-3a.m. Can't recommend this motel nor area. Suggest if looking for a motel about the same price,cleaner, better area, keep driving to East side of Memphis its a bit better area.

The ADA shower handle was broken making it difficult to use the shower. This was reported to the staff and apparently they already knew about the issue but haven’t taken care of it. I knew finding the place was a little difficult because of the reviews I read. But google maps did get us there. Breakfast was very poor. Although the lobby was supposed to be open until 10 it was closed when we arrived. It was dark and I questioned if the place was even open. I did get inside and spoke to staff thru a little window. We did get a room for the night and it was ok.

The room was comfortable enough, once the heat was turned on. This was the midpoint of my return trip and a very affordable option. All I needed was a place to stay overnight. It was a little hard to find in the dark, but Google Maps helped direct me there after I passed it without seeing it. It was not visible from the main road. You had to go down a side road to see it. But it worked.

Well it was going well tell 3:30am when the sprinkler system pipe bursts in my room resulting in a waterfall feature. Then I was moved two doors down and heard them repair the pipe for an hour. I got very little sleep and no refund was offered.

Toilet hinges caked in urine, spotted sheets, toilet wouldn’t flush without lifting the tank lid and helping the valve open the flow of water. Hair in the tub and around toilet. The shower curtain rod was dangling from the walls and was hazardous. The coffee at 7 am was room temperature, the fruit looked expired. The curtains didn’t close all the way. The front staff was friendly; I couldn’t be bothered to complain or change rooms as late as we came in. Terrible experience overall.

Check in was wonderful with friendly staff! The room was fine, but it was 84 degrees in the room when we arrived. We were tired from our drive and uncomfortable until the room cooled down. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been and the shower head was not attached well to the wall. The beds were clean and comfortable.

I think this property is just old and used to allow smoking. Even though it is smoke free now, that smell never goes away. I can only speak about my one room for one night but everything was dated, especially carpet, and you can only do so much with that; the datedness and the overwhelming smoke odor made it seem not as clean as it could be.

When we got there we had to wait a long time for some to wait on us, when arrived there was a lady in the lobby clearly very high screaming. I had to call the motel and tell him I needed to check in and while checking in the lady and a guy were screaming and cussing. They did not have a breakfast that they advertised. Would not recommend this place at all!

My parents and I stayed at this location for one night. The staff was amazing! Warm, friendly and professional. It wasn't the best hotel. It was a little worn but one thing that was a stand out was the bed. It was huge and comfortable. I'd say the only real drawback was that the walls were paper thin. I could hear people's conversations, tvs and baby crying through the walls.

Dissatisfied with this facility

My stay started off ok even though they didn’t serve breakfast I didn’t find this out until I arrived by the sign on the door, I excused that and went to Walmart and got some easy breakfast food to make from the room. I did notice a smell that was coming from the sink area that smelled as if someone took a crap right under the sink. They didn’t clean the room nor bring fresh towels in the room. But the kicker was I left a bag of clothes behind returned home and immediately called to let them know the owner immediately attacked me and told me it was my responsibility to make sure I have everything then he goes on to tell me he has some of the stuff but some was missing before I even said what was missing they took what they wanted and there the rest away what they threw away they retrieve it and told me I could come and get it. They didn’t even hold the stuff a day I called that same day when I got back home. So be aware when you chose this facility

The location is difficult to find. It's at the end of a deadend street with no lighted sign. At check in i was told the tv was not working and the was no breakfast because they weren't doing that right now. I would have gone elsewhere but i reserved this room and had already paid. I will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
