If I could give zero stars, I would. The side door to the building wouldn’t lock so anyone off the street could have walked in at any time, the door frame to our room was off, so we couldn’t secure the door properly, no smoke alarm, exposed wires, no shampoo, no breakfast, and no fresh coffee in the morning. Do not stay here!

Desk clerk was too absorbed in her phone to notice a guest was waiting to check in. Clock radio in room was disfunctional. Toilet flapper didn’t seal, so it ran all night. There was no coffee (or anything else) available in the lobby as advertised. The morning desk clerk said she was too sick to put out coffee, etc. Otherwise, it was fine. Pretty clean and comfortable. What does one expect for $60?

My \"go-to\" hotel is usually Super8. But I was highly disappointed in this property. My first clue that this would not be good was the overwhelming \"skunk\" smell as soon as I approached the entrance. My brain was telling me to run, but at that point, I was locked in . The desk clerk was nice enough and was able to get me checked in quickly. Our room was on the second floor, but there was not an elevator. I have a bad knee and climbing stairs is difficult. The hand rail was so loose, I was afraid it would break. Our room was extremely hot as they had the a/c off, and it smelled horrible. It took hours for the room to cool down making it difficult to sleep. There was no smoke alarm, the security lock on the door was broken, and the toilet didn't flush right. But it was already 3am when we arrived and I was too tired to ask for a different room. Moral of the story: if your gut is telling you to run, then RUN!

Dear Super 8 by Wyndham Forrest City Arkansas,

My family and I stayed at your hotel on May 2 and 4, 2025, occupying six rooms. I would like to bring to your attention several concerns we experienced during our stay.

Firstly, it took over ten minutes for staff to greet us upon arrival. Additionally, the back and side doors were left wide open, which posed security concerns. Upon entering the rooms, we observed a strong odor of mold and cigarette smoke, and the floors appeared to have not been vacuumed. We also had to request the remote control for the television and an iron for our room. The bathroom was not adequately cleaned, and in one of the rooms, the hot water was unavailable. We also requested a chair to replace a broken one, and found that the refrigerator in one room was not functioning. The breakfast service was none, and the door handles did not operate properly. The carpets appeared to be in need of cleaning, and I was bitten by a spider during our stay.

Considering the rate paid, we expected a more comfortable and well-maintained environment. We hope you will address these issues to prevent future inconveniences for your guests.

There was no breakfast even though that was advertised. The place was very run down. Most of the room doors had damage as if people had tried to break in, in the past. The locks for the doors were in bad shape and falling off. We were given two rooms, one had an occupant already, then were given two new rooms. All three rooms we saw had door and lock damage. One of the rooms smelled like strong cigarette smoke even though it is non-smoking. The other had pieces of the bed frame lying under the window.

Advertized premium channels on tv but did not have nfl playoff game. Also, furniture was worn and shabby and a 1' x 4' wall panel fell down, exposing the the studs. We ended up not staying, even though we could not get our money back. Very disappointing.

VERY BAD SERVICE

The service was very bad. The day manager i don't know his name was very rude. His attitude was very nasty. Alot of the things in the rooms was not working like the refrigerator, tv, toilet etc. The 1st night we got there we had to change rooms 3 times before we got a room that had everything working. When housekeeping comes in your room to clean up they turn the air off that you leave on too keep room cool. Asked the guy for some towels and with a attitude he said i have to wait on housekeeping when im trying to get ready for my mother's funeral and he won't go get any. I had to walk around and find housekeeping. I had several family members to stay at this hotel this pass weekend for the funeral and everyone had a bad experience with the guy. I have stayed there a few times and never experienced this before. I referred my family members to this hotel to get treated like we did. His attitude is so unacceptable. That was 3 nights of hell. I have stayed a plenty of hotels and this is my 1st time i ever had to write a bad report. I think i deserve a gift card or something. But i want be coming back there. My email is [email protected]

Wow in not a good way!

There was no A/C on in the lobby and all the doors were open. The desk clerk was very nice. when I got to the room the extra lock had been removed. It was a one night stay so I just said we could do that. Ice machine was not working and there was no breakfast. A really ran down property.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Check in was minimal. Clerk did not speak except to ask my name and state the room #. There was no breakfast as advertised, the laundry was out of order and we chose this site so we could do laundry. The doors were all coming apart. Exterior doors would not open and close without great effort and when we got up at 6 all exterior doors were open, so zero security. We stayed at a super 8 the night before so I know this is not typical of super 8. You should pull your name off this location

Room was not very clean found other people's stuff inside. was really worn down. The sheets and towels atleast smelled like they where washed in bleach so thats good. They showed pictures of a breakfast but there was nothing but some folgers coffee for paying over 100 bucks I would spend the extra 30 for a nicer place. cool they had 3 full sizes beds on the room but not worth the 126 I paid. Next time ill read more reviews. Also felt mildly sketchy but we thank God were safe the whole night. Eveing staff was nice.

Stay Away your well being and safety

Room was horrible. To start off, walking down the hallway smelt like a Willie Nelson concert. The smell of marijuana was throughout the whole first floor. Once we got into the room, there was exposed wires in the bathroom, the toilet didn't work, repairs on electrical sockets in room near beds were open and stuffed with paper, when I tried plugging something into the wall, the socket sparked. The tv batteries died as soon as I tried turning on the tv. The fridge made noises similar to a truck using its air brakes. There were cigarette burns on our blankets in a non-smoking room. Once we laid in bed, we immediately started itching. The hotel didn't have a continental breakfast as advertised. We ended up leaving earlier than expected just to get away from this place. Also, the hotel receptionist in the morning was rude and seemed to have an attitude. We never got the paperwork showing we checked out. It took them until almost 9 hours after we left to check us out. I wouldn't stay here again if it was my only option, I'd sleep in the car before this place. To be under the wyndham name, im disappointed

When we arrived at the hotel I told gentleman at front desk my wife has a service dog. He asked what for, told him it was a cardiac dog. He laughed and said that was not approved by the state of Arkansas. Told him was incorrect, but I would pay as I did t want any trouble.
He preceded to tell me I couldn’t read, and how he knows the law. Really? Act 652 Was passed in Arkansas, in April 2017 and for sure covers a cardiac service dog.
We went back again 4 days later, just to see what would happen. The lady at the desk said the same as the other guy, and again I had to pay extra for my wife’s service dog. So I was charged both times for my wife’s service dog. It’s not about the money at all, it’s all about principle now and scamming your customers out of money. Regardless if it’s 1.00 or 40.00, a scam is a scam. We are filing a complaint with the state and the ADA, better business bureau and who ever else can help stop this type of scam. No excuse for this.
This is very disrespectful and unprofessional. Not to mention the rooms are old and in need of repair and serious updates. Stay here at your own risk!

Entire lobby reeked of what I assume was vape smoke. Desk clerk clearly seemed annoyed that I interrupted his TV watching and phone time. The room I was given was the closest to the reception desk. Door was propped open and their was trash in the tras can. Looked like it was the desk clerks break room/bathroom.

Paid for this room based on ‘breakfast included’. Nope. Was told ‘That’s what you get for booking online’. Never again.

The hotel does not advertise what you are actually paying for! The room was supposed to have 3 beds and I called to confirm this with the hotel and with hotel.com. I was lied too and the room had two beds not three as I was told and what I had signed up for. There was no breakfast, the housekeeping was slacked. We had to request clean linen and our room was not serviced while we stayed the four nights. The room itself need to be remolded the whole hotel is out dated and just dirty. Bugs upon bugs, doors not secure at night the room door didn’t lack we had to make sure each time that we pulled the door slammed shut. No one was working the front desk half our stay nor over night. We will never stay at a motel 8 again. I wished we would have stayed at the other hotels that were there but couldn’t cancel our reservation and get our money back because of the reservation requirements and cancellation policy. Horrible Hotel.com that you would make your customers have to stay at this unclean dirty horrible ran hotel that didn’t have anything that the room advertised in the reservation. I am done booking with Hotel.com because they are not checking the hotels conditions and not taking care of their customers.

Stated that it had continental breakfast, it did not!!! There was a coffee machine and that was it. However, at 8am I was drinking my coffee in my room and housekeeping was banging on my door wanting to come in. That ticked me off & still don’t understand why they did that. I packed up my suitcase and left.
