I paid for an upgraded room. The comforter was dirty with black marks on it. A group of guys stood outside my room most of the night drinking and being loud. They would crank up their truck that sounded like it had no muffler it was so loud. Would never stay here again

Property is so run down. Bathtub had been painted and paint was peeling off everywhere. Water in tub didn't drain. Veneer on bathroom door was broken and jagged, furniture looked like it had been through a war and room smelled musty mixed with stale cigarette smell. The one positive was the staff but we would never stay here again!

We stayed here for a quick rest while traveling. The photos online and description stated they were remodeling. The photos looked really nice. Our check in was simple and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room definitely a let down. Upon just opening the door there was visble debris on the baseboards, hard wood floor, and corners of the room. The ceiling had large water stains, and the bathroom was very dated. The shower appeared to have been painted and was peeling. While using the restroom you can see filth smeared in spots on the door and walls. Overall we did feel safe and it was a place to rest and get out of the rain. Would i recommned staying here? Only if you have to.

They say the rooms are remodeled but if that’s considered a remodel then their standards are low. The room smelled bad. Like mildew and the sheets smelled old too. The floors were dirty. So were the windows and tv. And we didn’t receive a remote for the tv either. Paying more for a remodeled room is not worth it. The beds were pretty hard too. And we only received 3 towels for a party of 4 guests.

rented a regular room and the bathroom was very dirty. up graded the next day and that room was much better. i let the front lady know and she wasn't very concerned about it. I did say I wouldn't leave a bad review but she never said she was sorry or anything. I'm sure she is just a worker and don't care if people come back or not. But you should have clean rooms no matter if you upgrade or not. I would stay again only in a up graded room.

Service was terrible. The clerk had a very nasty and rude demeanor. I had to ask for an additional key to the room. She did not greet me when I walked in nor thank me when I left. Hotel is in a good location and desk clerk was very friendly. Rooms could use some renovation but were not horrible. Ice machine did not work and appears to have been out of order for quite some time. Was advised to walk to the Quality Inn next door and use their machine. Free breakfast consisted of cereal or yogurt. There was a toaster on the counter but nothing to put in it.

I booked 2 rooms online and when we arrived they said they didn’t have 2 rooms on the ground floor and there wasn’t an elevator. We were traveling with my father in law and needed 2 rooms on the bottom because he’s a disabled veteran. Still waiting refund from April 2024.

My entire stay wasnt the best at all. Had A very nasty argument with the Jamaican accent black girl at the front desk she had a ATTITUDE MY ENTIRE STAY. She never welcomed us stood there on her phone and talked to us like we wasnt paying customers. We call the manager he really wasn't the best with help. He claimed he was calling her to fix her attitude and have a talk with her mind you we could hear his entire conversations he never really talked to her like he should have about her customer service he was basically telling she wasnt wrong and to fake it til she makes it. My room was really nasty my floors was not swept. My bathroom was not cleaned AT ALL toilet had a ring in it. Big towels had hair and finger prints on them like someone was eating when they touched them. Bugs was on the floor dead. Dust and dirt on the basic boards and all behind the toilet. There was drinks left in the refrigerator and stuff on the bed. The overall that really made my stay the worst was the front desk nasty attitude. And even when we were checking out she still had a nasty attitude.Ive stayed there many times and never had a stay like this. A lady name Ms. Louis who was always at the front desk was ALWAYS SO FRIENDLY AND NICE, and respectful. I hope she still works there other wise this will definitely be me and all my family last stay there. Mind you we was there for a family reunion.

This property desperately needs updating. There is a water leak mark on the ceiling. The stairs to the second floor are full of rust. The baseboards are filthy, the bathroom walls have dead bug marks. The worst thing is the AC. It makes noises like freight trains go by. Mattress is old and saggy.

First time stayed here. Area looked a little sketchy and was definitely watching my surroundings.
As for the room...loaded with house flies and gnats!!.
The door to room has seen better doors but it did lock.
I took a shower and curtain did not secure water within. Water all over floor! Im handicapped and was grateful i didnt fall.
Personally, I wouldn't stay again.

I thought I was going to a decent hotel in a decent area. It was rather ghetto. I will say the staff was kind and my husband I found the room to be quite clean. He even brought out the uv light and we found nothing wrong in the room to note which surprised us. The ac was very loud and we had to keep it all the way up to make it not shut off and so I froze all night.

Lady at Checkin was not friendly. After checkin was told room was onky kingsize available and no heta on a cold rainy night onky a small space heater she had just turned on a few mins before we arrived. Bed was comfy. Room could use an upgrade. Door looked as if wasn't closed well. Checked in late at night left early in morning, room served its lurpose of sleep only.

The hot and cold water taps were reversed, there was black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, the jet tub needs to go. Can’t imagine how many years of crud and bacteria are in those jets. The baseboards haven’t been cleaned in years. The refrigerator didn’t work, the ceiling is cracked and falling down.

Worried at first but got better

When we first entered the room, we did not have high hopes for this experience. The ceiling popcorn was literally peeling & falling off and one wall painted red looked like smeared blood (see picture). I even found a live roach on the floor by the refrigerator. Luckily, the experience got better as we got situated in the room. Clearly there are more improvements needed, but it does seem like the hotel has been making upgrades one step at a time. The room had vinyl flooring instead of dingy carpet; the beds were comfortable and the linens were bright white (not old & stained); the toilet was in good shape and worked well; the bathroom counter was upgraded material (not laminate). The shower was clean, had good water pressure, and the hot water didn’t take long. Amenities in the room were toiletries, tissues, hair dryer, coffeemaker, fridge, microwave, tv, & working wifi. The ice machine at the hotel worked, too. There was a decent size grassy area by the parking lot for walking dogs. The hotel desperately needs to hire a painter, but we would stay here again. At this price point, they’re 8/10 but don’t compare to the Ritz.

Do NOT recommend...Over priced, slow check-in, first room had been smoked in and had offensive odors with a purification machine running on the desk. Also ask for 50 dollar cash or debit deposit for \"incidentals \". This place has drug dealing written all over it. Sleep in your car at the rest stop down road is what i wished i had done.

The look of Red Roof Inn was great, and staff was okay, but the condition of the rooms weren't so much. The first day stay - the water was scolding hot. No cold water. Later that night the problem was fixed. Also, the sink handle in my room fell off. The attended gave me a different room the next day, but I had to wait most of the day to get it. Also, there was peeling or discolored tub paint in the majority of the shower/tubs. I was there with a group of other people, and we all had that problem. Also, most of the rooms had horrible torn-up wheel chairs at the desk in the hotel rooms. Chairs that should have been replaced months or years ago. If I had been offered a discount because of the hot water mishap, broken sink handle, and waiting a long time for a different room, I may have been somewhat okay with my stay. But I wasn't. I won't be staying there again.
