Would have rather slept in my car at a rest stop

Got stuck trying to get through Atlanta late at night and this was the only hotel available. $55/night, so I was very leery. Husband said we were stopping. The rooms are VERY old. The beds are rock hard. There was a used washrag still hanging on the shower rod. The room was miserably hot when we first arrived and took forever to cool off. There were 2 women working the desk (which I liked that one wasn't left alone), one was pleasant, the other was horrid. The breakfast was ridiculous. We left without eating. There wasn't even any coffee made. 8:00 a.m., so not like we were outside of the serving times. The only reason I wasn't furious, was I used my free night with hotels.com for this stay.

Convient and Cozy

Location very close to the interstate highway and we were on the side away from it. There was a highway behind the motel but little traveled at night. Every thing was above our expectations and the price was reasonable. Weather prevented use of the picnic area.

Dirty, my daughters told me we got what we paid for($50). We did not even feel comfortable to shower in the bathroom. A pair of boxers on the bathroom floor that did not belong to us!!!

Really, that's your answer?

Downhill from the moment we got to the hilltop. Picked hotel for pool fun at end of vacation on the way home. I asked if the pool was heated. Clerk said the pool had been emptied for the month the day before. So I said, \"bummer, so no pool.\" And she said \"oh no, we have a pool, but it's closed until may.\" So I said, \"that wasn't mentioned on the web, ok, so no pool.\" And she said, \"we have a pool, but...\" Can you see where this is going?! I booked on line a room for 3 and she initially gave me a room that accommodates 2, and asked me if I'd like to change rooms. (Unfortunately, not a rhetorical question). Forget previous comments about yummy gravy at breakfast. There was none. I asked why it was missing, same clerk said \"because they didn't make any\"...

Very Nice Hotel!

The inn was a very nice hotel, which was conveniently located near the interstate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean and updated room, although the style of the bathroom was slightly outdated. Good breakfast was provided. Would definitely stay there again.

You get what you pay for.

From photos and Expedia reviews we thought we were getting a 40% discount on what appeared to be a comparable motel to those in the $100.00 range.
I Knew we had erred when we saw the billboard advertising a $49.00 per night rate. When we ask about the Hill Top Motel at a local Forsyth Restaurant, our waitress replied OH NO!

Blood on the sheets, dirty towels on the floor.

We checked in late. Everything was booked for miles. There were dirty towels on my hotel floor, hair in the sink, and blood on the sheets of one of the beds. When I notified the front desk she said, \"Oh, ok, I'll let the manager know\"... Never heard another word.

The hotel is tired-looking and worn. Not what we were expecting. We had trouble with the heat and it went out while we were asleep. Woke to frigid room and had to change rooms. It was not a pleasant stay.

Why the bug?

We were concerned originally with the location. It seemed a little remote. Once we returned from dinner there were more cars/people there so felt a little more comfortable about staying. Room was dated but that was fine. What wasn't fine was the bug in the shower curtain the next morning. Had it not been for that, I would have considered staying there again. However, I would go to the next exit where there are more hotels and places to eat if I stay in the area again.

Just passing through.

The staff was friendly. The TV remote dud not work, even after staff put in new batteries. The room clock did not work and we where told they had ordered more and did not have one they could take from an empty room as they where fully booked. Just ok for the price we paid. Breakfast room was pleasant and offerings adequate.

Convenient place to stay. Right off the hwy.

The staff was very nice and helpful with all our questions.
Convenient, right off 75 which was easy to find.
The bathroom needs some updating, but clean. One thing was, the toilet was too close to the wall/paper dispenser that you'd bump your butt when trying to sit..lol Move the dispenser Please!!!
The bed's were a little hard for me, but Mom said she was comfortable.
Free breakfast consisted of biscuits and gravy, hot and cold cereal, mini muffins, waffle iron to make your own, Apple & Orange juice, and coffee & tea. I can't remember if there was anything else. Sorry!

Overnight Stay

This isn't someplace for an extended stay but it is fine if you need to break up your trip to Florida as we did. If your expecting fancy then keep on driving. The room was clean, the bed was a little hard for my liking but that is a matter of personal taste. You'll need to eat before you get there or take something with you as there are no restaurants nearby.

The Hilltop Garden Hotel is a great bargain. A comfortable bed, instant hot water in the sink as well as the shower, reliable Wifi, and a meager breakfast, a refrigerator, and a microwave, all for the price of filling up the gas tank of your compact car three times, it can't be beat. The Hotel is convenient to the I-75 and has, nearby, everything one might need for travel. I will stay here again.

Great and friendly staff. There were only 4 cars in the larking lot indicating the hotel was empty. I felt very unsafe being alone at this secluded location late at night. Having paid ahead of time and having a dog with me to protect me were the only reasons that kept me there. Otherwise, I would not have stayed. The room was clean but had a terrible stagnant smell as if it had not been aired in 100years. Felt extremely unsafe. Will never stay there.

Inn is not bad for the price.

The Inn is very close and overlooks the highway so at night, it sounded like the 18 wheelers were coming right through my room.
I will stay there again but request a room in the back of the inn.

As a discount hotel, a good stop over.

Needed to get off the road and sleep. The hotel was a little difficult to get to at night as the roads were laid out differently. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Bed was a rock, but some people like that. You can tell that they attempt to keep it clean and tidy. Not so bad for the price.

Great hotel for a short stay

My wife and I stayed here on our way from Kentucky to Daytona, Florida. We arrived late at night around 11:15 and left early the next morning after a quick continental breakfast. Room was great for the price! Breakfast was also very good! Great, easy, affordable stay.

The best thing was it was close to the highway. The room had a musty dingy smell. Sheets were almost transparent. The room and rest of the hotel are in need of upgrading. The breakfast was limited but my chief complaint was the tiny (less than 6 oz.) styrofoam cups that were provided for coffee. Will not stay here again.

We only spent one night as a stop over to our Mountain Adventure in Blue Ridge, GA. I chose this place because we had our little dachshund with us on this trip and they are pet friendly with a minimal charge. The grounds were very nice and the young lady behind the desk when we checked in, was very pleasant. The room was large and clean everything was adequate. The bed was a lot firmer than we Iike it, but we slept fine. It's located right off the highway so it was a convenient stop off but unfortunately this hotel is the only thing besides a gas station on this exit. The exit before(heading north) is full of all kinds of options for food so I suggest you either have dinner first or bring some take out to eat in your room because there is nothing around. As I mentioned before it was a nice stop over and would visit again if we were passing through in the future.

The room was ok. The children's pool was not usable and disgusting; which was very disappointing since I had a three year old with me who should have had a safe pool to play in. He was fascinated by the gunk and animals in the children's pool and keep going over to it. There was no phone in our room and we were told it would be taken care of the next day but it was not.

Nice room for the price

This was a quick get-a-way trip just to have some fun while picking up my husband at the airport. It is a nice clean motel even if it is a little bit older than other ones in the area. It would have been a lot nicer if the pool was a little bit cleaner but we did get a good night's sleep before heading out for some beach fun. This motel is within walking distance to the beach.
We would stay here again.

Traveling with elder grandparents, got a handicap room and did not completely fulfill. I had to ask for a highrise for the toilet and it was dirty.... Yuck! No way for grandparents to travel. My room was great but they need to better accomodate handicap rooms. The breakfast was great and the staff was awesome. The rooms were clean and would stay again.

For Sleep N Go.

This is a decent hotel for sleep n go travelers. Yes a little out dated. Comfortable beds, good hot shower and nice pool. All levels of police departments in Georgia stay here as there are training facilities in Forsythe. So no partying, loud crowds at this place. Found this motel safe and secure. Would stay here again.

Secluded hotel.....

Hotel very secluded. When arriving we were impressed with the front desk/breakfest area. It was clean and updated. We stayed in a room on the back side by the pool. Room was very clean and satisfactory. Had trouble geting the ac unit to work, I thought we were going to have to change rooms, but it started working after 3 hours. It was quiet and the area was well lit in parking/corriador area. Hotel staff was very friendly and accomadating. Breakfest items were waffles, biscuits n gravy, mini donuts and cereal. I didnt see any fruit. Our only complaint was 1)the pool had alot of trash, dead bugs floating. The pool smelled like it had chemicals, it just had alot of trash in it. we have two children so the pool is a must for us and the condition of the pool was enough for us not to stay here again. 2)There is a ant infestation, they were everywhere outside. The ants were all over the sidwalks and pool area. we were affraid to set our stuff down on the ground. I was really surprised that with all the ants on the sidewalk areas that they were not in the rooms. Would we stay here again, No. The pool condition ruined it for us.

Everything was overall very good, although I booked a room with a king sized bed and instead received two queen sized beds. The towels were small and there was only one per guest. The pool had debris on the bottom and the hot tub was closed, but other than that, everything was clean, well kept, and friendly.

Great half-way point

We were traveling back from Florida to Ohio. This hotel was a nice place to break our trip since it is nearly half-way. The staff was friendly and helpful in recommending local restaurants. The room was clean and had all the basics. The continental breakfast was nice especially since the room rate was so reasonable. I'd stay here again.

HARD TO FIND - MAPQUEST DIRECTIONS ARE WRONG

Extremely frustrating trying to find this place, as mapquest directions took us in completely wrong direction after leaving interstate. We had to call hotel for directions twice. Clerk did not really explain very well. She also forgot to write down on some log that she put us in a certain room because the next clerk on duty rented someone else our room and he scared the daylights out of us trying to use his key in our door and pulling on our door. Also extremely noisy as the hotel is right next to the interstate.
