It's ok now, but not as good as in the past. The carpet in our room was \"sticky\" likely from spilled cokes/juice. Bathroom needed a touch of maintenance too. Minor stuff, but I notice those minor repairs are not being made. Breakfast also a touch \"cheaper\" than previous... juice machine also not working... clock in kitchen not working... overall maintenance has slid.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. The room I stayed in had mold on the towel holders.. that is the reason for my star review. At the price per night and additional pet fee, there shouldn’t be a trace of mold anywhere.

Breakfast menu was dismal: flat burnt sausage, over cooked eggs, poor selection. Room was disappointing: bathroom sink did not drain, more than half of the electrical outlets did not work, TV reception was spotty, Pillows were lumpy (no selection for different needs), temperature control was ineffective (no extra blankets in room), no spare toilet paper provided in bathroom, desk chair was very low (not adjustable to any reasonable height), carpet was dirty.

I want to start by saying the staff were great. They were so nice. The property and room was clean. However, the location of our room was horrible. We were in room 127 and it was located directly next to the breakfast prep kitchen. We were woken up at 4:00am each morning we were there. We walked around exhausted our whole trip because of it. There should not be a room there. If we had stayed in any other room in the hotel I wouldn’t have anything negative to say. However if they put you in room 127 do yourself a favor and tell them no thank you.

Room was clean and the staff was helpful and cheerful. That means a lot after a day on the road.

Hotel is a little dated in the area I stayed. Chipped paint and corrosion on door handles in the room. For the cost in its location, it should be in better shape. And they need more parking or put in a semi truck / boat lot.

I had to change rooms 3 times. 1st room could nit enter because dead battery in door. No on site maintenance. 2nd room the fridge did not work. 3rd room the fridge worked but had someone else leftovers. I cleaned those out and stayed. Ice machine out of order on 3rd floor. Every time I wanted ice I had to go to 2nd floor. For a Hampton Inn you expect better than this.

Great stay at this Hampton Inn! The staff went above and beyond and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a good night’s rest. The price was very reasonable, and this will definitely be a go-to stop for our semiannual trips between Michigan and Florida. Highly recommend.

The staff & cleanliness of entrance is excellent. The room & breakfast is just so-so. The TP holder in bathroom was hanging a bit & roll came off easily. Bath sliding door heavy & hard to close after it was pushed all the way back on track. Also couldn't get the tub plug up to use shower so had to just wash up. Carpet looks dirty. Very old. Really could use vinyl flooring in room. Always stay at a Hampton when traveling but not this one again. After driving 11 hrs it was a disappointment. Sorry.

Good for Work Trips, but Beds Can Be Hit or Miss

I’ve stayed here a couple of times for work. The rooms are spacious and the Wi-Fi is reliable, which is great for business. Location is convenient with food options nearby. However, the bed on my first stay was very uncomfortable—I could feel the springs. Second stay was better, so quality seems to vary by room. Decent for short stays, but the hotel could use some mattress upgrades.

Could be nice place...just need to up the cleaning

At first sight, our room seemed clean. However, the linoleum...wood grain dark brown ....was extremely dirty to the point for black on your feet in one walk across. Carpet also seemed sticky and damp. Breakfast was ok. Crew members were nice and polite...but not really friendly. Overall...my recommendation is that the linoleum be mopped and really cleaned no less that once a week. The carpets periodically cleaned too...in addition to the normal sweep and vacuum to make it appear clean. The ac units may also need to be checked...they were working but there was a dampness in the air whrre our swimsuits didn't even dry over a 24 hour period.

Upon arrival the front desk wasn’t manned. We had to wait almost 5 minutes for someone to come out from the kitchen area.
Our first room had so much visible mold on the ceiling that we asked for another room. When we got into the second room we realized it was actually in worse condition than the first room. There was dog food on the floor, the wall paper was pealing around every where especially close to the ceiling. You could tell they’d had a lot of water issues there. The ac unit made a ticking sound all night long. When the morning came we realized we wouldn’t be able to shower because no matter how long we let the water run it didn’t get hot!
I would not recommend this particular hotel to anyone.

I was not given advantages of being a Hilton Honors benefit holder. Not sure why but was told at check in that I was not going to get any honors benefits. Had just driven 5 hours was not in the mood to question....I just shook my head and went on with life. Just have to wonder. Glad there are other options next time. Also, the breakfast was really bad. Worst eggs with cheese ever.! Coffee was good.

We were driving from Michigan to Florida and could not decide if we would stay at the Hampton in Dalton or Forsyth. Around 4:30 on the trip down, we checked and Forsyth had rooms available at $154. At 9:30 we decided to go to Forsyth, but the rooms were now at $199! We arrived at the hotel around 11;30. I told the clerk about the price increase in the short period of time and he said the manager called him and could see that rooms were going fast so told him to increase the price so corporate would be happy

We've stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years when we come to town to visit family. This was by far the worst experience. My card got charged on the way there for more than what it was supposed too. I kept calling and someone was answering \"hello\" each time. I gave up and when we got in we waited 10 minutes for someone to show up to the desk. Got up to the room, no soap, dirty tub, and holes all along one of the walls. Went down later to get soap but they couldn't find any, the guy finally found some. No one made up the room the next day, we had both garbages overfilled. By our final morning we were just about out of toilet paper as well since no one ever made our room up. One of the ladies and a man were nice, another woman not so much. Overall just not a good stay this time. It also was way more money for 2 nights than ever before staying there.

I really enjoyed the cut up fruit a the potatoes were great some place I have been to they are drowned in oil these were Perfect ! For the price I was expecting more. There was a weird smell (a smelly cleaning agent?)in the room and was given another to try and it had it too. So much so I could taste it after a while. It was the 3rd floor. A little moisture damage in the bathroom on ceiling and walls. It was a short one night stay on our way to Orlando. The staff was wonderful and made up for the small shortcoming of the room odor. In the morning the ‘free’ breakfast was okay and the coffee was good.

Room was incredibly dirty. Found hair all over the shower. Bed also squeaky and very comfortable. Worst part of all was the air-conditioning. They have it on motion sensor so if you don’t move around in your sleep, you will die of heat. Pay $200 for a room. Ridiculous for this kind of room.
