cant hide the property can use some updating....side note to mgn.t when they decide to put new flooring in the room ..please make sure you rip the old carpet out completely..before new flooring

I stayed here 2 nights in this place. Location is ok, The best part of the stay was the people( front desk staff) that work there, very pleasant welcoming and understanding.
Breakfast is good here, hot eggs, potatoes, waffles , yogurt, bagels toasts, etc. Full breakfast.

The place can use updates for sure, especially in public areas
.Hopefully they can consider updating. They already have good staff in place, which is what can make you stay here
as long as the price stays reasonable . Recommended.

We chose this hotel because the price was reasonable, upon arrival we were in our room within 10 mins.
We had room 114 which has 2 queens and it is half way between the pool and the restaurant! The room had a microwave, small fridge, and was non smoking. The room was a bit dates but very clean and towels smelled clean but not bleach like. We double checked for creepy crawlers (im sure everyone worries about the same) we did not find any trace of anything.
The pool was warm and pretty good size, plenty of towels our first night but they quickly got depleted after that. The sauna is a bit warn, but works perfectly! (I am Finnish, and I 100% approve of the sauna) The fitness room looks pretty but heck, im on vacation and im not trying to work off the french fries. Im an electrician and running wire takes care of the tubbs.

The breakfast consists of eggs, sausage, muffins, fruit, cereal, waffle maker, coffee, juice, and homefries. Only complaint is there was no milk. But the breakfast area is very clean and staff are eager to assist ANY possible way they can. The bar is open and they have some pretty good food for being in house. The bar tender/chef has 2 adorable fur friends and he can grill one heck of a steak or chicken breast sandwich. I requested an off menu item and he was happy to oblige.
The owners and staff are amazing here! The hotel is dated but the staff are amazing! Well worth taking the risk on this place, it's not the Hilton but it does the job!

This is unfortunately and apparently the type of hotel that will CANCEL your room when they have any processing issues, will NOT inform you, will NOT call you, will just tell you nothing. and then 5 hours later when you drive through a snowstorm to get there. you'll find out you have no room and good luck have fun out there in the snow or you can sleep on the floor of your friend's room, and oh by the way we have no cots or anything we can give you, we just have nothing.

Literally the same night, 4 boys who apparently purchased 2 rooms were also shoved into one room.

Steve the night guy is alright, as much a victim of the day shift girl's issues as much as I was a victim of it and other guests.

Needs updating

While the lobby was lovely, our room was woefully outdated and terribly dark. My husband did not find one of the mattress comfortable (it sloped towards the center). A little effort into improvement would go a long way, given the location and proximity to Mt. Snow.

This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever visited! The hallway carpeting had wear and tear down to the floor beneath the carpeting leaving huge worn spots in the hall. There was no elevator so we lugged 3 suitcases up the stairs and the walls in the stairwell were literally falling apart and had huge gaps between the stair carpeting and walls. We got to the hotel room and the carpet looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. Other visitors we passed in the hall were all complaining of issues with their room keys. The property was down right dirty and clearly not being cared for. I took a picture of the hallway carpeting and the stairwell before we told the front desk that we were not going to stay there. Quality Inn should be ashamed to be associated with this property! The front desk said they could not give us our money back since we booked through Expedia. Overall, this was a horrific experience and we ended up having to find another hotel with availability in the area which was not easy being it was 8:30 on a Friday night, a holiday weekend and peak foliage in Vermont. If Expedia is not able to provide a refund, I will not be booking hotels this way again. Please let me know the best contact information for speaking with the appropriate Expedia representative to follow up on our concerns.

Property looks dated. In guest room 144, the crown molding is falling the wall/ceiling. Also, the red painted ceiling is showing some major peeling. Frankly, the choice a dark colored ceiling paint makes no sense at all. Makes the room feel like a cave.

The hotel is disgusting the hallways and stairs carpeting is filthy. The bathroom vent was black with mold. The towels that were placed nicely on the towels hand black handprints on them the carpet in the room was nasty many stains. The telephone numbers on the phone were black with filth. The bathroom light switch was dirty and cracked. The sink and tub drains looked rusty the tissue dispenser was rusty not worth the $150.. per night pig pen.

Upon arrival Charlie was very welcoming! However we did ask for a more quiet room, the room however was not quiet.. People were in and out of the workout/pool all throughout the morning. Beds were comfy, and they give you four pillows. The bathroom could use some updating.. The only issue that had me on alert was the connecting door to the other room opened- while my family was sleeping. I noticed it as I got up to use the bathroom. Creepy, and I felt unsafe. So Quality Inn, you need to make sure all your doors are locked to the connecting room for customers safety.

When I arrived at the front desk to check in I ended up having to go searching for a front desk person. (They were getting cookies.). The area by the back door was creepy and the door did not appear to be locked at night. The hallway was dingy. The room however, was clean and comfortable. The hotel was rated a 2 star which I totally agree with-which I told the woman that booked this.

I am a frequent business traveler. Concerns and reason for this rating are: prior water leak, 1st floor ceiling, large stain on ceiling tiles approx 9 sq feet. Light flickering/nearly out, 2nd floor, near entrance to our room, # 212. Felt like a Humphrey Bogart movie. Carpet on stairs nearest our room to the second floor frayed. In room: took 2 tries pushing bathroom light switch before light turned on. (wife could not turn on bathroom light, needed my help) Half-dozen motorcycles were parked overnight in the area reserved for cars to park for a few moments while guests check in.

The hotel needs some major renovations. Paint was chipped and peeling in rooms as well as stairwells. Plaster was completely gone in some stairwells. Rugs all had stains, our ice bucket wasn't usable as it had mold. Website advertised they had a restaurant and bar. Neither were open. Breakfast was free and was adequate so long as you got there first thing. The hotel was full and there did not seem to be enough food to feed the number of people checked in. Indoor pool room was so hot I'm not sure you could enjoy it. Ice machine on second floor was not working and the hike to the first floor ice machine was a pain.The few staff we spoke to were very helpful and pleasant. Hotel itself needs a major facelift.

Toilet initially would not flush. Would fill to rim before slowly drain taking 4 to,5 flushes. Management arrived to say MUST keep handle down during cycle, still taking 5 tries to flush, The sink would not drain and filled to brim making it unusable . The hotel was not very clean. When we got in our room the toiletries from the previous guest were still in the shower. The duvet covers were stained as well. The sauna does not work, the pool area is falling apart and dirty, and the restaurant/bar was not opened ( aside from a mediocre breakfast in the morning). We will not be going back.

This Hotel is totally nasty!!!!! Honestly looks like an abandom hotel in horror movies, carpet on the floor was durty full of dirt, the bathroom? Ohhh boy I counted my seconds just to get out of there. Breakfast? The rooms, hotel, and amenities; restaurant, pool, as a whole were outdated, dingy, and off putting. The air conditioning hardly worked in our room we found numerous bugs; beetles, centipedes, flies, in the bathroom and bedroom. The ceiling in our room was painted pink and everything within the room, hallways, and outside was decrepit and disgusting. We were thankful that we were only staying there one night.

I atay at Quality/Comfort Hampton Inns quite a lot. Generally they are well maintained and clean. This property is older and in need of major renovations. The stairwells were dirty, stained and I would not have been comfortable in them except there was only 1 flight. The rooms are older and need new carpets. The floor in the dining area was squeaky and sticky.
My biggest problem is htat the Air Conditioner did not work/. It was so hot in the room!! The manager was very nice and brought us a fan for the night and that made all the difference.
The breakfast was ok - good juices sausage, eggs and of course the waffles. Muffin choice could have been better but overall very acceptable.
I understand there is new management and I believe he is trying hard to improve the hotel. However without renovations and upgrades to the heat/ac systems that can not happen.
He was very helpful. The place was booked solid and we were not the only ones with cooling issues - just the first to bring to his attention.
I will not stay here again ( or in the one next door) until after the renovations are done.

They must have had a flood recently. The lobby smelled rank.. My first floor handicapped room had serious damage in the bathroom, toilet base broken and put together with glue. no toilet paper dispenser, Tile set along top of toilet was cut to allow access to flush mechanism, but not sanded down, so could cause a serious cut.Floor/rug had some chemical on it that caused my feet to tingle... So had to wear my shoes at all times.

I have to this was by far the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. The room was dirty , sheets were stained and looked like they hadn't been changed in a long time like they just remaded the bed with the same sheets. Bathroom was also dirty had to wear my flip flops in the shower. Room was terribly painted,AC didnt work right and fridge wasnt cold at all. My room nimber was 106. In just the past week this is the 3rd one i have stayed at while on my vacation. I really hope they do something about this. I enjoy staying with quality inns but this has put a very bad taste in my mouth.

Hotel is very old and light renovated with min budget what means quality of work unacceptable. Girl in front desk is very helpful, professional and pleasure. Continental breakfast is very good .In my opinion the standard of the Quality Inn should be higher .

The staff was VERY friendly and the complimentary hot breakfast was very nice, but the hotel is quite tired and dated.

My daughters loved the heated pool. Outside of that, the hotel does not use any heat. I’ve never been in such a cold hotel where you freeze just walking down the hallway. Very outdated, the tv volume was messed up and couldn’t enjoy that.

Terrible

So driving up the building looks awful, parking is good, but the entry is terrible (needs painted and ceiling of carport was multi colors). The lobby fireplace was nice, but the couch was torn where I could see, the front desk was old and warped, Megan was very friendly though. My room was on the 2nd floor and I had to walk to exterior door to get to the 2nd floor, paint was peeling in the stair area, the 2nd floor hallway was ice cold, the carpet was stained and gross, the wall paint was awful. The room was cold, although the bedding was washed it was stained, the bathroom floor was dirty. With all this I made the choice to leave and get a room at another hotel, good money down the drain.

Hotel is pretty worn down and needs major updating. Beds are not that comfortable. Worked for a few hours of rest but wouldn’t stay long term.
