Check in was easy. After first night the internet shut down. Came back on late the second night.
This location is under renovations. Strong paint smell and the worker was there until 8pm at night drilling and sawing. Since our plans fell apart, we left two days early. I'm sure when the renovations are done, it will be pleasant.

I want to rate this hotel well because it could be very nice. All the major things work, but the number of minor annoyances was excessive. We had minor issues with TV, blinds, shower doors, charging station, toilet paper, card keys, front desk availability, construction noise. And they assigned our room to another guest who walked in on us as we were in a state of undress.

The room was very clean, and the showers hot water was amazing! The staff was friendly and would let us know when breakfast was available so we wouldn’t miss it ! Robert and Destiny always had a smile on their face and greeted us when we arrived and when we left the hotel. I would definitely stay there again when we visit Brattleboro VT!!

Everything went well except for the fact we booked a room that stated it was able to sleep 5 however when we arrived, their system had only booked for 3 people and there were no rooms capable of accommodating my family. This is likely an Expedia problem not classifying rooms correctly however I expect the hotel to honor the booking and fix their relationship with the third party provider independently rather than causing my family a worse experience.

Everything was very nice. I was checked in at the desk by "Jolene" who was cordial, friendly, and welcoming. The room was very clean and it was very quiet. The breakfast in the morning was excellent as was the coffee station. I do miss the little snack bag at the front desk where we could grab 'n go off for the day. All was very nice. Thank you!

The room was very clean and the bed was comfy!! I've only found one other hotel that has comfy beds and my body parts don't go numb from the hardness of the bed lol. Now I have another hotel chain to add to my list!
Breakfast was good, there was plenty of options and we stayed 3 nights and a lot of the items changed each morning, for a good variety. Staff was friendly! Pool was a good bonus on our first day after 8hrs of traveling. Highly recommend this hotel!

Parking was limited when we were there. The room smelled like a public bathroom cleaner when we got there. Everything else was clean. Hotel seemed quiet. Breakfast was very good. Our main complaint is we booked a suite for 5 people but it only had 2 queen beds and a chair? Thankfully, my son ended up staying home due to illness so we didn't need another bed.

The hotel was fine. Breakfast was amazing with eggs waffles sausage potatoes and the usual breads cereals and yogurts. My two complaints was they charged $75 extra for our dog (my fault for not checking on the price before booking) and our room had a TERRIBLE Smell. You would get used to it after awhile but then be affronted every time you re-entered the room. A combo of dead animal and must with ineffective air freshener sprayed over it. Also the hallway carpets were stained and dirty although the room seemed relatively clean In the end I wouldn’t stay there again because of the dog tariff but wouldn’t rule it out if we were dog less.

On a whole everything was good. The morning staff was not very friendly and spent a lot of time in the office. The gentleman in afternoon was very nice and helpful.
Our room needed a little more care. The headboards were dusty, and the carpet throughout the room was very dirty. The carpet on the side of the room near the air conditioner all the way to the corner of the bed felt damp and again was very dirty.

Nice hotel option in Southern Vermont

Great hotel to stay when traveling in Vermont. Convenient - right off of I-91, centrally located to a number of restaurants and food options. Pet-friendly hotel, we brought our furry friend and he was comfortable. Amenities were nice and clean including the pool and fitness area. Friendly staff who are extremely helpful.

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn and was thoroughly impressed by the level of service and hospitality from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Check-in was quick, and they even offered complimentary bottled water and local dining recommendations, which was a thoughtful touch.

The room was spotless, well-stocked, and comfortable — exactly what you’d hope for after a long day of travel. The housekeeping team clearly takes pride in their work. I also appreciated the small details, like plenty of charging ports, crisp bedding, and a quiet HVAC system.

Expedia did not send them our reservation. This was not an issue with the Hampton Inn, they tried to help us. Expedia made it right by booking us a room at a neighboring hotel, without a pool or a free breakfast, but the view was nice. Again not a Hampton issue, it was an Expedia issue.

this is a very nice hotel, and we have stayed before and will stay again, but we will never stay in 212 again, they play music in the lobby and halls 24/7 which is fine, but 212 is right over the lobby and you can hear the drumming all night, it is very irritating, but like I said we have stayed in other rooms here before and they were very quiet

We rented adjoining rooms (the family suite we had originally booked was unavailable when we arrived). One room was definitely more updated whereas the other had a fridge that had broken shelves, rust, and was not in good working order. The staff (other than Robert who assisted us upon check in) were rude, dismissive, and not at all friendly. Although I usually love a Hampton Inn, this one was not worth the stay. We will definitely be booking with another hotel if we travel to Brattleboro again.

Perfectly comfortable for an overnight stay.
The bathroom did have some peeling wallpaper and mold on the ceiling over the tub. Its definitely showing its age, but the front desk clerk was super friendly. She made up for the construction workers in the parking lot who were leering at me when I came in from picking up a bite to eat. It looks like they were staying there. Not the hotels fault at all though. Breakfast looked good too, though I just had a quick piece of toast. Check in sugar cookies were yummy.

Our room was clean. We checked in after 5 then had to go to meet others for dinner. It wasn't until we got back we realized the toilet had issues. Very slow to flush. Had to resort to using the bathroom in the lobby. We did inform the front desk. They said they'd make a note of it. That is the only complaint we had with staying there.

We wanted a pool for relaxing and some exercises but it was closed. It would be helpful if the website for the location would have stated the pool was closed. We would have gone to another location with one that was open. When we checked in the frontdesk clerk acted like we should have known it was closed.

Had an issue hooking up to the WiFI - also the pool wasn’t available- we did tell the front desk in the morning that the tub was not draining. We hadn’t brought our swim suits so no pool wasn’t an issue. We will be happy to stay there again

Booked hotel 10 weeks before the stay specifically so I could use the pool and hot tub for my health condition. 4 days before arriving (1 day AFTER penalty free cancellation), I noticed they posted on their web site the pool & hot tub would be closed for the next 4 weeks (starting a few week before we arrived). When I asked at the front desk when they posted that noticed she said beginning of the month. Letting those with reservations aware of the change should occurred via email. At a minimum a little more notice would have been nice.
Otherwise the stay was good.
