My room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave a big plus! I normally stay at a different hotel when I come up to visit my family but I decided to try this hotel. I wasn't sure how it would be but I was pleasantly surprised! Clean, quiet and the gentleman who always seems to be at the front desk.. I'm sorry I can't remember his name is awesome! I was there for 3 weeks and I loved it! 10/10

staff was wonderful. the room was clean. hotels dot com said breakfast is included but there was no breakfast included at this hotel. this was important to me as my car broke down and I had no transportation so I was a little upset about that. there was a food market in walking distance and a microwave and refrigerator in the room so it all worked out in the end.

The staff was by the staff I mean the one person I saw who checked me. The property is very dated There were mattresses in the stairwell in a very interesting clientele that seemed to linger in the hallways and around the building at all hours of the night The room was fine Nothing to write home about. What was disappointing was the $350 a night that this place charged Granted it was during Leaf season which I was unaware of when made the reservation but in general the facility was tired

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! Disgusting room, stained sheets, stained comforters, even the chair was gross. No breakfast as advertised, the entire hotel reeked of weed. Constand noise all night. Arrived late at night and it was freezing outside, otherwise I would have slept in my car. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in some shady places.

While the Wagon Wheel room was clean, the property was very run down. All the window seals have failed, and our window had a full length crack. The sink and tub finishes were worn. Location was good and we were able to walk to a nearby restaurant. I expect the high cost had to do with the fall leaf-peepers than the value we had in relation to the property.

This hotel is disgusting. Dirty mattresses in the hall. It reeked of cigarette and pot smoke. Windows open that don’t lock. I felt deeply unsafe as a solo female traveler. I slept in all my clothes because the floor was so dirty I didn’t want my skin touching the rug or the bed. The bed spread had cigarette burns. I went to a local gym in the morning so I didn’t have to shower at the hotel. Do not book here. It was disgusting.

The Covered Bridge Inn is a bad place to stay. The hotel host was nice but provided no info about the hotel. The hotel is run down and the grounds is dirty with cigarette butts everywhere and the lobby smells of pot and cigarettes. I booked a non smoking room which is on the second floor but the entire floor and room smelt of cigarettes. There is no elevator so you have to drag your bags up the stairs. The carpet is dirty, chair is stained, the drapes were dirty, and all smelled of cigarettes. It had a mini microwave & coffee pot which I didn’t use but the mini-fridge worked! The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the tv had no movie channels, but there was free WiFi. The shower had pink dirt or mold, but the water pressure was OK. It is the least expensive hotel in the area so if you don’t mind a run down place smelling of cigarettes you can try it; I DO NOT recommend this hotel, and don’t understand how it got a high 8 star rating.

Our stay was 10/4/25. A bad odor was the first thing we noticed when entering the room. I described it as musty/moldy smelling. We did have a carpeted room.The lighting is terrible as well. Our friends were in another room. It was a non-carpeted room. The floor was dirty(like it needed to be swept well). there was a dead bug on the floor in the bathroom. the toilet did not flush well. The room also had a non-pleasant odor.
Continental breakfast is very basic. No hot foods other than if you toast your bagel. There was whole fruit..apples and bananas. Coffee, tea, juice, milk, yogurt, danish, bread, bagels, and cereal. I would never want to stay here again based on the odor and how dirty it was.
The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful.
It needs a lot of maintenance and remodeling.

The bathroom had thick towels and well stocked. All and all it was a very pleasant stay at a very reasonable price!

Room was pretty clean, but was poorly laid out, had weird TV controls, and was certainly not really handicapped accessible in spite of being advertised as such. While it did have a chair height toilet, it was actually a high wall tub/shower with no handheld shower and the only grab bar was completely in the wrong area to grab on to for support when you need it because you are actually handicapped as I am, and book these types of rooms because I actually need to be able to count on them. I asked the desk clerk about the lack of the walk in shower stall and handheld showerhead that I was promised and he said they didn't actually have any of those.
Additionally, what they call a breakfast was actually pretty lacking by todays standards of most other motels, and it is held in a regular motel room, so the size of the breakfast space is very severely limited along with any semblance of any real selection, or even much quality to any of the offerings that were there. If you do happen to stay here you should probably just plan on just going next door to McDonalds to buy yourselves a breakfast, as this places breakfast definitely isn't likely to do it for you or your family.

Not what I expected.

I think the reviews on hotel.com are fake because this was not what I expected when we got here. I would never have stayed here. We just slept and left early. It’s very old and the only word I can think of is sketchy. On the plus side the mattress seemed new as there were a bunch of old ones outside by the dumpster, Very unsightly. And there were no bugs which I was worried about, so that was great. I’m glad the floors were tiled as that made me feel better but the whole vibe and neighborhood was not what I was expecting when I booked and read previous reviews. It definitely needs to be updated inside and outside quickly as I was very nervous staying here.
Also the reviews on other sites were much lower and I now know to check multiple review sites not just hotels.com.

I chose this place due to the good reviews and for the price. The lobby was small, clunky, dingy and outdated but the staff was friendly. The room had a strong musty, stale smoke smell even though the room was non-smoking. The bathroom sink was filled with fruit flies. The showerhead was leaking from the threads when turned on which made the water pressure very weak. The room was outdated and didnt look fully clean. Walls had many scratches and dust on fixures. A paint job is needed and/or just a few updates. Simple things could have made this stay much more enjoyable.
The bed was surprisingly comfortable and I had a decent night sleep minus the smell.

Front desk clerk was very rude. Rugs were damp upon entering and we noticed a strong scent. Later on that night after leaving the room end returning, we noticed a very pungent smell of cat urine and the a/c wasn't working. We tried getting another room, but were told there were none. They did not try to rectify this, but instead gave us more of the air freshener they used to spray the carpets down. Also, a section of the fitted sheet was crusty! Definitely would not recommend OR return.

Desk was supposed to be open until 11. We arrived at 10. It was closed. Keys were in an unlocked box with name and room number on them. Not impressed.
Room was filthy and smelled. Had to go to a store to buy disinfectant wioes to clean as best i could.

Old motel with unclean hallways

I cannot fathom how this lodging received an 8.6 rating from Hotels.com other than assuming they gamed the rating system by having people with banks of cell phones writing fake reviews. The motel is old and run down. It needs a total refurbishment. My room was clean but the hallways had not been vacuumed. There were three men having a loud argument under my window at 4am. Sorry, cannot recommend this place.

Both my Fiance and I stayed for 4 nights,five days,the building was easy to get into,and find right after getting off of the highway. Places to eat were abundant around the area. When we had a problem with our original room that was booked,they upgraded us free of charge to a better room. The breakfast options were limited,but healthy. If you like to be up all night with river dancers on the floor above practicing all night long, and hydrolic press testing under your bed. THIS is the place for YOU! Loud noises all night long, strange vibrating on the walls, dirty bathroom, stain ridden furniture, smells of perfume de cigarette. Can’t forget the left over burger surprise left in the fridge from the visitors before us! We couldn’t wait to leave as soon as soon as the sun came across the horizon.
