Hotel Ičići is a completely new 4-star hotel in Ičići. It's located in quiet green surroundings above the Lungomare coastal promenade close to Opatija, and represents an excellent choice for a family holiday.
This modern 5-storey hotel has 180 rooms with balconies and an irresistible view of the blue Bay of Kvarner. For families with children, the hotel offers family rooms with connecting doors and amenities to suit their specific needs.
Guests can take advantage of the hotel beach and outdoor pool complex with its sunbathing area and various services and facilities for children and adults. The hotel restaurant and the Chi Pool Bar on the outdoor terrace by the pool offer selected Mediterranean specialities.
During the summer season, the hotel offers an All Inclusive Light service with full board, while there's a half board service in other periods of the year. Drinks from the dispenser are included in the accommodation price for all half or full board meals!

One of our favorite hotels of our trip. Excellent location along the ocean walk with easy access to the ocean and a very nice pool. Lots of pool chairs available and very family friendly. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with everything you could possibly imagine. The staff were extremely helpful and Nice. Parking was easy. Short 20 minute walk into town. Views from the rooms were incredible. We extended our stay with a late check out, which was amazing because it allowed us to explore the area with a quick drive over to Rovinj without having to worry about parking or luggage security. Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

NIce clean hotel at the beach, children and dog friendly. However the food was not up to standards. Large dinner buffet with greasy food, lots of meat and almost no option for vegetarians, only a few side dishes and pizza. Breakfast buffet was not much better, Little fruit or cereal, no fresh fruit juice but an astonishing number of meat dishes!

Hotel is fully renovated and is about 30 min walk to downtown Opatija along the sea. We loved the location because it is away from the busy Opatija but still close enough. Rooms come with balcony and an amazing seaview. There was a confusion regarding the booked package when we arrived but it got sorted out the next day. A selection of drinks is included at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hotel has a nice swimming pool area, but the beach is rather small still good enough to take a swim. It would be nice if they would have water kettle in rooms otherwise everything was great.

Lovely view/location/breakfast...inadequate shower
Chose this hotel because of it's location...close to Opatija but not in the middle of town...and it's onsite parking. Room was fresh and clean, the furnished balcony had a lovely view of the sea, bed was super comfortable. A wall socket on each side of the bed. Both breakfast and dinner buffets were plentiful with lots to choose from and something for everyone...including beer and wine as well as soft drinks! Beautiful pool (although it was too chilly to use while we were there) and lots of animation programs for kids and teens. It's about a 30 minute walk into the main part of town if you don't have a car...and parking is not easy in Opatija! The one let down was the shower. Although it was a new walk-in shower and I was so looking forward to using it, there was inadequate water pressure that just dribbled from the shower head. Not only that but the water temperature in both the shower and sink was lukewarm. This was when the hotel was not nearly full as it was during shoulder season in early May, I'm not sure what the problem was but was disappointed. Still, the rest of the room and the hotel was faultless.

Nice brand-new hotel for young families
Back in June, I had a pleasant stay at Remisens Ambassador for business and fell in love with Opatija, so I decided to bring family back to the riviera for summer holiday. As I found that Giorgio II in the same Remisens group was opened just a month ago and the pictures on their website looked nice, I gave it a go. I have to mention that the price was irresistible too, compared to other 4-star-or-more-hotels in Croatia.
I stayed there with my husband and daughters (age 15 and 19). We loved the infinity pool, water park in the sea, and morning exercise classes. We didn't have to fight for deck chairs by the pool in the morning (water park side can be busier tho). Fresh beach towels are provided everyday which I loved.
Only downside is the location. It was too far to walk to the busy part of Opatija and although we rented a car, it was hard to park in the centre of the riviera. It was full-board basis and we stayed there for 4 nights. But we ate out once in Opatija and once in Rovinj otherwise you'd feel too isolated and bored. But if you decide to go out after dinner, the chances you can find a place to park is zero in the peak holiday season. Overall, it is a good family hotel that gives you a base to explore wonderful Croatia and good value for money. If you are traveling as a couple, love a bit of luxury, and want to stay closer to the busy area, I would definitely recommend to stay in Ambassador though.

Wir waren hier 2 Nächte. Leider haben wir bei der Buchung nicht gesehen, dass es sich um ein Familienhotel handelt, wer Ruhe sucht ist hier nicht richtig. Das Zimmer war eine Enttäuschung: gebucht war Meerblick und Balkon, bekommen haben wir aber nur teilweisen Meerblick, vor dem Balkon lag ein Garten mit Hügel, sodass man vom Meer fast nichts gesehen hat. Außerdem war der Garten ständig von anderen Gästen genutzt und das Zimmer roch stark nach kaltem Rauch. Positiv waren das gute Bett und das ordentliche Badezimmer. Das Frühstück war eher mittelmäßig, Eier und Speck nicht gut temperiert, meiner Frau hat es gar nicht geschmeckt, mir nur eingeschränkt. Brot war frisch, Brötchen nicht. Gemüseauswahl minimal, nur Gurke und Tomate. Beim Abendessen zwar große Auswahl, aber fast nur mit Schweinefleisch. Viele Speisen nicht gut temperiert, Suppe kalt, Reis viel zu hart, Kuchen nicht gekühlt. Landestypische Spezialitäten fehlten, nur einmal gab es leckere Zagorski Štrukli. Die Poolanlage wirkt auf Fotos größer, tatsächlich gibt es nur einen Pool, immerhin nicht überlaufen und mit Schattenplätzen, wenn man früh da ist. Lobby- und Beach-Bars sind schön zum Chillen mit tollem Ausblick, die Preise sind hoch, zwei Cola fast 10 €. Parkplätze exklusiv für Gäste, aber eng und teuer: 17 € pro Tag PKW, 8 € Motorrad, 40 € Bus (vermutlich Transporter). Für 2 Nächte war es auszuhalten, aber für 600 € eindeutig zu teuer und definitiv kein 4-Sterne-Niveau.

A kiemelkedő lokáció mellett sajnos meg kell említeni, hogy borzasztóan hangos a hotel, pedig minden szoba a tengerre néz. Hiába nemrég épült, minden zaj áthallatszik, ha felettünk járkáltak, akkor lehetetlen volt aludni, és a folyosóról is minden hang tompítás nélkül behallatszik. Láthatóan igénytelen az épület kivitelezése. Az egyéb dokgok rendben voltak, az étel közepesnél jobby az emberek kedvesek.

Top Hotel mit paar Schönheitsflecken und super Service, der freundlich und sehr auf Zack ist zu den Mahlzeiten. Nicht so positiv finde ich den Geruch nach den Mahlzeiten, da dieser sich in den Sachen festsetzte. 1x neu umziehen oder Extrasachen für‘s Essen nutzen ;-) Ich hätte gerne 5 Sterne vergeben, aber der Grund sind leider die Urlauber selbst, die sich nicht an Regeln halten oder stillschweigend sind. (Hundebesitzer, die den Kot auf dem Flur nicht GLEICH wegmachen und warten, dass es vom Service erledigt wird oder Trinkflasche füllen ohne den Deckel abzuschrauben) wäre voll was für Versteckte Kamera. Wir waren 11 Nächte da und würden wieder hinreisen, da die Mitarbeiter einen super Job machen.

Das Personal war durchgehend unglaublich hilfsbereit, freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer ansprechbar. Vom Rezeptionisten bis zum Zimmermädchen oder dem Restaurantpersonal waren alle sehr pflichtbewusst und immer für ein Lächeln zu haben.
Die Essensauswahl war immer abwechslungsreich, sehr viel und sehr lecker, bis zum Ende der Essenzeit.
Das Zimmer war groß, geräumig und jedes davon mit Blick aufs Meer. Egal ob beim Wach werden oder zum ins Bett gehen, man hatte immer einen herrlichen Blick auf Zypressen, kl. Fischerboote am Horizont und blinkende Sterne und Lichter von der gegenüberliegenden Stadt Rijeka.
Parkplätze waren auch genügend vorhanden und kostete 15,-/tgl.
Den Pool od. hoteleigenen Strandabschnitt haben wir nicht genutzt, jedoch sah alles sehr schön aus mit den kostenlosen Liegen Sonnenschirmen und es lagen auch immer entspannte Gäste dort. Es gibt ein hoteleigenes Café dazugehörig und auch Toiletten sind vorhanden. Wir waren immer am kl. öffentlichen Kiesstrand mit neben dem Hotel.
Es war wirklich immer alles sauber und ordentlich auch der Fitnessbereich od. Tischtennis.
Jederzeit wieder und wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

Dieses Hotel war eines der besten während unserer Kroatien Reise. Alles top modern und sauber. Sehr netten Service. Wunderschöne, grosse Zimmer mit Balkon. Auch die Lage direkt am Strand ist hervorragend. Schöne Lobby Bar. tolles Frühstückbuffet. Genügend Parkplätze sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Eine sehr gute Alternative zu den teuren Hotel in Opatija. Die Hotelbilder im Internet stimmen zu 100% mit der Realität überein. Alles in allem können wir das Hotel allen weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren eine Woche in der Unterkunft und waren sehr begeistert. Es gab morgens und abends ein großes Buffet mit unglaublich leckeren Essen und trinken. Über den Tag konnte man in den Pool, in dem man eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Meer hatte oder man konnte den Tag am Meer verbringen (eigener Zugang vom Hotel). Wir waren sehr beigesteuert und würden das Hotel selbstverständlich weiter empfehlen.

No me gustó la distancia que hay que caminar para llegar a algunas habitaciones, a nosotros nos tocó la 201 y desde el ascensor a la habitación hay que caminar más de 200 metros. Das Hotel liegt sehr schön direkt am Meer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und auch die Zimmer waren schön und mit tollem Ausblick vom Balkon. Wir haben allinklusive gebucht, leider handelte es sich aber mehr um Vollpension, bei der die Getränke eingeschlossen waren. Getränke am Pool oder in der Bar mussten extra bezahlt werden. Das Essen war immer gut mit ordentlicher Auswahl. Negativ war nur die viel zu wenigen Liegen am Pool, die ab 7 Uhr trotz Verbot reserviert wurden und der teure Parkplatz, der extra gemietet werden musste, andere Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe nicht.

Wir hatten All inklusive gebucht. Es wurde uns nicht gesagt, das das nur die Getränke zu den Mahlzeiten beinhaltet. Das es All inklusive light war, stand nirgends.

Es war alles in allem einer der besten Urlaube die wir hatten. Wir waren rundherum mit allem mehr als zufrieden. Zimmer, Buffet, Personal alles top! Einziges kleines Manko, war die nicht ausreichende Anzahl an Liegen am Pool und vor allem am Strandabschnitt.
