Great hotel, the breakfast had a huge selection to choose from, great pool and pool bar, the staff was splendid. The hall ways had multiple leaks and drywall seeming to be giving at those points with what looked to be like black mold. Seemed to have been an issue for a while as drywall doesnt turn black overnight. Also the door to our unit was very sticky and required force to open and close. Other than those maintenance items everything else was great. I would give it 3.5 stars

We splurged and spent the night. This beautiful hotel. After a delicious buffet dinner we ventured down for a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Felt very good, but the temperature was not as warm as we would have liked. We did not use the other wellness facilities but would have liked to use the red light therapy room if time had allowed! Breakfast was wonderful. Fabulous pillows on the bed and we slept like babies! We felt spoiled!

I expected more from this hotel. They put me in a room with poor wifi connection, and you could hear everything from the bar at night. When I complained there was nothing they could do apart from “send a technician” who didn’t show up. Staff are unfriendly and disappear when you need them. The pool is nice but not enough loungers for the size of the hotel. The lighting in the room could be better, bathroom is too dark to put on makeup. Spa area needs to be attended more as there were wet towels everywhere. Breakfast offering was good. I didn’t like that breakfast staff give you half a coffee and expect you to make your own with the cold milk and foam left on the counter. If staff are making coffees, make them properly please. They didn’t know what a french omelette was and instead of asking gave me an over-scrambled burned egg.

Amazing property and staff.Maria on front desk was so professional, knowledgeable and helpful.
Infinity pool with sea access was great.Spa and dining area and outside bar with live music was fantastic.

A very basic 4 star hotel. Has the potentials to become a real 4 star hotel, but it is important to work on the details. A very big disadvantage is that this enormous hotel, with an amazing sauna, has no fitness facilities. Not satisfying air conditioning in the common areas (especially lobby). Lovely infinity pool. Reasonable difficulties in parking area, but at least there is parking with pretty high cost (20€ per day). Excellent breakfast, equal to a 5 star hotel with amazing staff. Unfortunately cannot tell the same for the reception team. The spa team is high skilled.

Beautiful infinity pool that overlooks the sea. Key pad Gated but easy access to sea via steps. Buffet breakfast has everything you could want including mimosas and custom made coffee to order. Would recommend for a quick getaway.

Beautiful location, but the property is showing its age. In need of renovation, painting, new carpets, etc. Most of the staff is great, but some of the workers in customer service areas (e.g., bar) worked to not make eye contact and give great service.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Grand Hotel Adriatic I. The pool was great, with an \"infinity edge\" facing the sea. Yes, you do need to move early before or right after breakfast to reserve a lounger, but there is also a nice beach just below the pool, we spent one day at the pool, one day at the beach.
Rooms are not huge but nicely laid out, and beds very comfortable. AC was adequate. Meals were excellent, though somewhat crowded in dining area. Very good food, range of choices for breakfast and dinner, and buffet was constantly being replenished, so nothing ran out, even if you arrive later. The breakfast croissants were delicious, fresh and warm.
Parking was convenient, very close, not any problem -- yes there is a charge, but well-worth it. Staff were pleasant and helpful, as well. Would recommend this hotel, would stay again.

Pleasantly supprised!

I had seen some quite negative reviews on trip advisor about this hotel but booked it since other people we know we're staying at the same time. We were really pleasantly supprised! We were welcomed by friendly helpful staff in fact over the 4 days we were there all the staff were excellent, the food was also excellent (we were half board) and the hotel while not brand new was comfortable and our room was well equipped with a lovely see view!

Comfortable and Friendly Hotel Near the Sea

I have stayed at this hotel on more than one occasion, as I have had to do business in a nearby city on occasion, and have been pleased every time. The staff have been MORE than friendly and helpful. Because I have travel alone, it is nice to have the buffet breakfast and buffet dinner at the hotel, and the food has always been fantastic. I also love the spa for booking a massage. They have a nice pool and whirlpool area as well. It is also near the water --- just a short walk down a set of stairs. The beach is rocky, though, and the area near the water is cement. But the BEST part of this hotel is the VIEW. IT is gorgeous!

Very nice stay, with some shortcomings

This hotel is slightly dated and is definitely not a 4-star property. There are actually two hotels sharing the same lobby (Adriatic I and II). It's confusing which is the more desirable hotel. as there are supposedly some renovated rooms, but we were put in what looked like the older section, even though we booked the more expensive, superior room within the higher star-rating (four vs three) property. The manager seemed put out that we had questions about this after check-in. One feature that makes this not a 4-star is that the \"restaurant\" only serves a buffet dinner. We never eat dinner in our hotel anyway, so not an issue for us. The language skills of the staff were amazing. The property seemed to cater to the cruise/bus tour groups, but one nice thing is you can order the included breakfast to be served in your room, only paying the service (delivery) charge, which was reasonable. The breakfast items were very well prepared. The air conditioning would not cool the room and is not controlled from within the room. We had to sleep with the sliding glass door open to keep it cool enough in April. The casino is dated and there was only one other black jack player, who was a local with an apparent gambling problem. It was like a scene from Reno in the 70's. The beach walkway area is very well maintained and a nice place to stroll. We would return to this hotel, but would perhaps choose II.

We didn't expect the hotel is a bit old style as the perspective shows modern. There is a casino in the hotel. Hotel staff is quite friendly. Nothing special. The pool is very small and the food also very standard taste.

Very disappointed

An old remnant of Yugoslavia. The hotel does not deserve to have 4* rating. The only good thing was the clean and relatively recently furbished room, and the breakfast. Access to the sea is over the main road, and you have to go down stairs. None of the other 4* hotels have this disadvantage. Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Location was also subpar, being in the very end of town. Walking to any restaurant was at least 20minutes

Good Value and Location

Stayed two nights. Convenient walk to center of town. Beautiful walk along ocean side promenade. Buffet breakfast and dinner a good value. Free internet not in rooms, but available in lobby. Staff was very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel itself is a little dated, but the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and polite. Like most hotels in Croatia there were no Coffee/Tea making facilities in the room. Great little swimming pool on the 8th floor, and very good food.

Fint hotel med små mangler!

Hotellet er stort, hvilket det bærer præg af - receptionisterne “ser” os ikke, efter vi var tjekket ind. Vi boede i den lidt ældre del af hotellet - og denne bygning har indtil flere niveauer med trapper som skal forceres inden man kan komme videre med en elevator. Hotellet har ingen strygejern/strygebræt - vi måtte ud og købe et strygejern! Herudover fungerer hotellet fint, gode parkeringspladser, fin morgenmad, fin restaurant. Poolen med tilhørende liggestole er underdimensioneret ift. antal gæster - vi valgte den private strand, hvor man betaler 25 euro for to liggestole og en parasol.

A comfortable hotel with cold staff

The hotel is located at a quiet area about 25-minutes walk distance from the bus station and center with beautiful sea view. The room and bedding are comfortable but the bathroom is very dark. The spa center is small. The breakfast coffee is good but the food is not very tasty. The receptionists are not enthusiastic.

Wir verbrachten eine Woche im Grand Hotel Adriatic (Zimmer 403) für 1448 € und sind zwiegespalten.

Der Check-in am Sonntag war enttäuschend. Mitarbeiterin Marina wirkte völlig gelangweilt, ihr desinteressiertes Auftreten machte sofort einen schlechten Eindruck und war für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel inakzeptabel. Beim Check-out war Marina leider wieder da, ebenso gleichgültig und unprofessionell – kein „I hope you enjoyed your stay“, kein „Was there anything we can make better?“, absolut nichts. Dieser beschämende Service von Marina, ohne jegliche Freundlichkeit oder Interesse an den Gästen, war ein absolutes No-Go! Beim Betreten des Hotels von außen kommt man in eine unerträgliche Hitze auf dem Weg zu den Aufzügen (rechter Teil). Der penetrante Parfümgeruch vor Aufzügen, Restauranttreppe und in den Fahrstühlen nervt.

Das Zimmer war okay, aber mit Mängeln. Die Klimaanlage kühlt trotz 19 Grad Einstellung nur auf 23/24 Grad. Tapeten blättern überall ab, sehr ungepflegt. Die Dusche hat eine wellige, graue Decke – stark Schimmelverdächtig. Eine Schiebetür am Schrank fehlte (Absicht?). Die Apartmenttür muss fest zugezogen werden, sonst bleibt sie offen – ein Sicherheitsrisiko! Grober Bauschaum an der Tür, schlampige Verarbeitung für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel. Streamen vom Smartphone auf den Smart-TV war angeblich möglich, aber trotz aller Versuche (inkl. Hotel-Modus-Deaktivierung) ohne Erfolg. Für uns als jüngeres Paar, das Twitch oder Netflix schaut, ein großer Minuspunkt.

Das Hotelzimmer mit Meerblick war fantastisch. Das Bett hatte eine angenehme Größe und eine sehr gute Matratze und das Frühstück war sehr gut. Zum Außenpool muss ich leider mitteilen, dass die Liegen viel zu eng am Pool standen, die meisten Sonnenschirmständer kaputt und die Eintrittsstufen des Pools viel zu hoch waren. Es gibt Stolperfallen wie kaputte Fliesen und und ein leeres Desinfektionsbecken.

Alles wie beschrieben, es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Der Salzwasserpool war super und im Whirlpool war normales Süßwasser. Preis / Leistung war angemessen. Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt und das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und eine riesige Auswahl was ich so noch nie sah inkl. Sekt soviel man wollte.

1. Wir sind im Lift stecken geblieben und haben dort 10 Minuten in der Dunkelheit verharrt. Notruf funktionierte nicht. Bei der Rezeption hatte man nur ein “das müssen wir uns ansehen” übrig, als wir heilfroh waren, wieder draußen zu sein (Lift ging von selbst wieder an).

2. An einem Tag kam kommentarlos kein Zimmerservice

3. Toiletteartikel wurden nicht aufgefüllt

4. Konsumzwang beim Pool, Getränke mitnehmen verboten. Cola 0,33 € 4,- / Hugo € 8,-

5. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit toller Auswahl

6. Snacks an der Bar: leider nichts für Vegetarier dabei, nur aufgetauter Toast mit Ham & Cheese um 5,50

7. Pool hat offiziell um 6, tatsächlich um 17.50 geschlossen

8. Beim Personal hatte man manchmal ein wenig das Gefühl, dass sie sich nicht unbedingt freuten, dass Gäste da sind.

Alles sehr dunkel, Bett durchgelegen, nur Riesenkopfkissen, pool ab 18.00h zu, parken unangekuendigt 15 euro, essen kalt, service beim Frühstück schlecht, klimanlage nicht verstellbar, zu wenig Platz am Pool, pool ueber die Strasse. Weg zum Parkplatz sehr lang, plastiktuete für Gläser nicht umweltfreundlich, preis leistung schlecht, große Auswahl beim Frühstück jedoch alles kalt.

Die Gäste des Hotels Adriatic I bekommen leider nur das 3 Sterne Niveau des Hotels Adriatic II geboten. Sei es beim Frühstück mit unterdurchschnittlicher Qualität oder beim schlechten Servicepersonal. Leider keine Empfehlung.

THEY DON’T OBEY THEIR POLICY

If you are looking for a relaxing wellness experience, look further! You have not found it here! Even tho their policy is no kids allowed in the indoor pool area, they allow it! It’s pure kids play, screaming, splashing and crying. All adults, went into the other room. Even tho we said it to the staff, they just went down and told the kids to be quiet. Yerh right, that always works..

We also overheard a receptionist allowing kids to enter.

It’s not okay, when you marketing the hotel as a spa and wellness hotel, when it’s then a noisy area, where their policy is just warm air...

Not worth the money.

It was a nice hotel but we must have been unlucky because the aircontition didnt work properly so not so good sleep and the hotel was very full and crowded everywhere so hard to get help. And on top of that several other guests on grouptours where running in the hall banging on doors and making noise at 04.00- 05.00 o clock in the morning. It is an expensive hotel so i expect more from them. We moved after one night.

Preis Leistung stimmen absolut nicht überein

Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Personal wirkt gestresst ( bei der Vielzahl der Gäste auch kein Wunder). Kleine Reparaturen ( Lampe funktionierte nicht... wurde die ganze Woche trotz mehrmaliger Meldung an der Rezeption nicht hergerichtet). Klimaanlage viel zu laut, im Badezimmer riecht es nach Kanal und bei Regen kommt Abwasser in der Dusche hoch, alles im allen keiner 4 Sterne und schon gar nicht den Preis wert.
