Had a great stay at Econo Lodge. It was an impromptu weekend trip and we just needed somewhere to stay for two nights. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and well presented. The maid replaced our towels, even though we never put the 'please make up our room' tag. The hotel is conveniently located between Brisbane City and the Gold Coast, which makes it easy to get around if you have a car and are sightseeing the region. There is also parking at the motel and it seemed secure. If you are looking for a low cost and quiet place to rest your head for the night I would highly recommend Econo Lodge.

The staff were lovely, however, the apartment was really dirty. The walls were dirty, there were greasy finger marks on the kitchen cupboards, thick dust and grime on skirting boards and cupboard tracks, pencil drawings on the bedroom door. Bathtub was not functional. No air-conditioning in the second bedroom which gets super hot from the morning sun. The fan in the second bedroom is not fully functional. The curtains were old and dirty. The apartment in general needs a deep clean and a re-vamp. Absolutely NOT worth $280AUD per night. I was quite disappointed, but as it was a short stay, we chose to stick it out.

Office staff was very helpful with early check-in.
Due to arriving early i physically seen the cleaner scrubbing etc and she didn’t cut corners. Room was definitely cleaned and smelt good!
From the office to the cleaners all staff were accommodating and friendly.

The place was run down definitely nothing like the photo on your website.
Extremely disappointing.
I asked for an invoice/ receipt and as at this time I haven’t received it.
The room was small and the lounge chair was extremely well used, should be thrown out.
Like I said don’t believe the photo on your sight because it is false advertising. 😩

Amazing stay, the rooms were so clean and the mattress was extremely comfortable. Only down fall is the location of the hotel because logan can be a bit iffy but that absolutely isnt their fault. Beautiful stay, my partner and i left very happy.

No shower, no compensation

Shower tap broke off first night. When maintenance came they said not to use until next day so no shower first night. No coffee cups so couldnt have coffee in the morning. No bin in room, no tissues, 1/2 roll toilet paper and no back up roll. No offer of any compensation on first night with no shower/coffee. Expect much better for almost $200 a night especially since this was my 4th stay in 12 months.

Bed was only double not queen and hard/uncomfortable. Rooms not made up daily or replenished. No safety chain on the door, felt unsafe especially when a man was outside the door walking up and down the wooden veranda at 3 am. No designated parking spots. Paid in full on arrival, but bank account shows an extra payment taken out later.

The windows did not lock, one was blocked open with a butter knife. One bed had clean sheets however had dirt throuout the bed. There was a old, large tv unit left sitting in front of the loungeroom window and had a dirty tissue behind it.
The kitchen cupboards had some food residue on them, a dried piece of cheese on the pantry floor and grease still on the baking tray. The smoke detector was missing, there were a number of cigarette burns on the lounge, food crumbs still on the lounge and dining table. The cup holders on the lounge were filthy and had rubbish in it.
The unit had a very strong smell of curry, I like curry but this was old, stale smell. It was an upstairs unit with an internal staircase, this was sticky and black with built up dirt. This had not been cleaned in a long time.
We were offered a cleaner however i did decline as we were trying to get a very tired 2 year old to sleep so we changed the bed ourselves. Having a stranger cleaning the unit was not ideal.
The gentleman at reception was polite .

No refund was offered as they said we used all the beds. Two beds had the corners turned back to check for dirt. The other was remade, with clean sheets, by us and this single bed did have the two year old lay in it for 10 mins.

We were there less than 3 hours and left as we did not feel comfortable.

Very dissapointed.

I paid for a room 'deluxe suite' I was told. I was not informed of where and how to access the free WiFi. The air conditioning remote control holder had fallen off the room.. loose screws. The sliding door to the outdoor area was unlocked - unsecure. Unimpressed with the standards of this establishment personally. I left prior to check out.. no communication from the staff since!

this place was sketchy as hell, the vibe is OFF. facilities broken, the place looked like someone went \"we should get a builder/painter/plumber to look at this\" and some guy went \"nah i can do that easy\" and failed hard.

saved this review until after i got my bond back which i did in full, was genuinely surprised when i got it all back because the whole thing is just OFF. to be fair though, it's waterford. being so close to loganlea this motel is probably a 5 star for the local area's standards. i would rate this a 2 star at best.

The staff at check in were friendly enough.
The room was basic - we found a pillow without pillow protector and a large old blood stain on it. The windows didn’t have locks and could be easily opened, the door had a very simple lock that if you pulled the handle down when locked from the inside it unlocked! I was travelling by myself ( mum) with my 3 young daughters- Late into the night we had someone knock at our door which made us all feel very unsettled, there was so much noise with people stomping up the stairs and doors slamming all through the night ( after finally falling asleep- I was woken with my heart racing after a massive bang which I think was a door slamming). Needless to say I didn’t sleep for the rest of the night as I didn’t feel safe. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and had paid for 2 nights - I booked alternative accommodation for the following night and got out of there as fast as we could. We didn’t get refunded 😡

Food outlets in the area, so convenient. My room was away from the street so it was quiet. However don’t rely on the check in time published on the internet. I arrived on time to find reception was closed. However reception left instructions in a sms. This was an average place to stay for an overnight stay. Room needed to be cleaned of crumbs.

I wasn’t happy with my stay and won’t be coming back. Bathroom smelled really bad, only two towels in room even though I booked x3 kids and myself in for the room, toilet buttons broken, fridge wasn’t clean, beds were uncomfortable, power point wasn’t fixed to wall properly and come away from wall a little when I went to plug my phone into it which isn’t safe for kids.
