This property at red roof Inn plus was one of the filthiest properties I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms were disgusting. There was actually feces in my bed that they guy had to come change my sheets. The faucet was falling off. The walls was filthy. I have a video. I don’t know if I can post it here but if it gives me the option, I’m going to would definitely not recommend anybody staying here. It’s disgusting.

The room was clean enough, but despite it being \"recently renovated\", it had a few problems. In particular the outside walkway to the room (and stairwell) had a serious bee issue...yes, bees. The walkways were not really maintained or cleaned well at all. Thankfully the rooms were much better (but still needed a few repairs)

I walked in and walked back out after looking at the room. There were holes in the blankets, the floors were sticky, windows were dirty, the room smelled of marijuana. The whole building had rust and chunks falling off of it. When I went to turn in the keys the person at the desk said there was no manager available to issue me a refund. I was staying with my child, and there was no way that I was sleeping in that room.

Staff was kind but property was filthy. The premium room was ok I found a roach egg in a drawer but no actual bugs. linen discolored from the age but I know they washed the linen because the door of laundry was open . walking around the property to leave multiple janitor rooms fillled with old commodes and broken fixtures with a nasty stinch. Nothing really looks maintained. I did notice men working on the landscape.

Air conditioner was pumping the room full of weed smell, the room came with a dirty blanket that had to be replaced, the tv was broken and the elevator was broken too and we were put on the third level where the stairs just were not fun to climb while holding 50 to 80lbs worth of things. The spackling was falling off t bg e wall and there was scratches all over the walls (likely from the chair) was not a fun stay. Seems to have gotten worse than last time.

There was no hot water during my first night's stay and there was a mildewy odor in the room. Went to take a shower on the day of check out after the hot water was fixed, only to be met by hair all over the bottom of the tub. I was apologized to and offered a ''discounted rate\" IF I extended my stay, which was not about to happen! Not pleased to say the least...

The room was terrible neglected. There where stains on the carpet the bathroom is falling apart. Under the bed looks like it hasn't been touched in months maybe years. There was a horrible smell like dumpster juice in the room they had a plug-in but it didn't help. I would of asked for another room but the look of the place I was afraid I would get a worse room. Honestly the room was nice but when I checked in and entered the room on the door was a sign stating enjoy your upgraded room on us. The problem is I booked and paid for the highest priced room. This being said it did kind of put me off of staying there again and I do tend to frequent rooms in the area. I sent a message asking about this and never received any response.

I asked to have my room safe reset for usage 3 times. The safe was never reset and I was not able to use it. After day 3 of my stay, room service had never inquired if I needed any sort of service. I had to call the front desk to have the trash removed, clean the sink and shower and fresh towels. There was a lot of loud noise in surrounding rooms all throughout the night preventing sleep. I've stayed here at least 5 or 6 times in the past several years when visiting Pittsburgh. I won't be staying here in the future.

Cops had to drive by hourly, people smoking in the door way of their open hotel room door. People smoking in parked cars, little kids unattended wandering in parking lot. This is a very bad place to stay, dangerous. I showered and left because I thought I was going to be robbed. Do not stay here.

I did not like that they put a $100 charge on my credit card that actually went through, that is excessive and they did not do that two weeks ago. The entire place reeks of marijuana. We had to switch rooms because in the 1st, the blower made terrible noises and that room smelled especially bad. In our second room, the toilet did not flush well. It is doubtful that we will stay there again.

I paid my deposit in cash, and I always make sure to leave the room clean. When I went to check out, the front desk clerk told me I was “free to go.” I asked about my cash deposit and he acted like he didn’t remember me paying one even though he was the same person who took it. He then said he needed to check the room. After checking, he went straight to the safe and pulled out an envelope with my room number written on it. So the deposit was clearly logged and accounted for the entire time. The initial denial felt shady, and after looking through other reviews, I see this isn’t the first time this has happened here.
There was also an issue with the vending machine. When the hotel was busy, the machine had the prices covered and a sign saying to “ask clerk for assistance.” When I did, I was charged $11 for a can of Sprite, a Snickers, and a bag of Member’s Mark chips. But when I checked out the next morning — when the parking lot was nearly empty and there were fewer guests the machine was suddenly working, the tape was removed, and the actual prices were visible. It really seems like when the hotel is busier, they hide the prices and overcharge guests by forcing purchases through the desk.Overall, the room itself was fine, but the way money is handled here feels intentionally misleading. I don’t appreciate having to ask for my own deposit back or being price gouged for basic snacks. I won’t stay here again.

Room was very hot even with heat turned off for 2 days. Non smoking room, smelled like smoke. Mattresses and pillows worn out, in desperate need of replacing. Main room was as shown in photos, clean and modern. Bathroom wasn't as nice, cracks in the wall and shower. Will choose other accommodations in the future.

Sorry l had to clean the bathroom, put carpet fresh down in the bedroom spray Lysol on the beds to made sure no bedbugs)

the bathrooms tubs need Repainted also needs new caulking around the tub, shower curtains, had stains but staff was able to replace shower curtain quickly

A lot of the White Towels were stained when you put it up to the light, but again the staff was able to replace all the towels properly

Toilet was full of tobacco. There was something in the beds. Room was supposed to be smoke free and smelled strongly of smoke. Used soaps in the bathroom, all the towels were wet and on the floor. I dont know if the room wasnt turned over or if the cleaning staff did this but someone definitely showered and smoked in our room. I complained and they did not refund my deposit.

I had to go buy some air freshener spray to help eliminate the order. And I used it quite a bit during our 2 day stay, The floor (carpet) was dirty and sticky, and had to wear socks or keep our shoes on. The employees were nice, and helpful. Air conditioning was great. Bathroom was dirty and toilet seat was not attached to toilet and it was wrong size for the actual toilet too. There were 2 spiders in bathtub, And shower curtain full of orange mold. Was disgusting. Bed was clean and comfortable. We could not figure out how to use the tv so we went without watching it. In the past I was satisfied here, but I wont be back. This was just to much filth! Desk area was all sticky, sink area was clean. Had to ask for towels an toilet paper. Good thing we got that! Only 1 light bulb in a 2 light bulb lamp. Lighting was dim now we know why. Was nice to have a frig and microwave, some of our family did not in their rooms. Overall was a bit pricey for the actual stay. Any other time I would say nice and affordable. Not this time, order was just more than I could stand. The paint job in that room was horrible too. Looked like it was just thrown on there. Very sloppy!

One room smelled and had flies. The other room the toilet didn't flush right, the tub did nit drain and there was a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom. The cover over the bathroom fan was misding and the fan was filthy. We reported all this and was told\"what do you want me to do about it\" we asked for another room and were switched. We had 2 booked 2 nughts and were glad when it was tme to leave. Never will stay there again!

I want to start by saying I am local to the area. The check in process was smooth. Once in the room I was a little stunned that the room didn’t look like the online picture and then there was blood on the sheets. Called down to the front desk to inquire about moving rooms and was told there were no rooms. There was no attempt at a resolution by the front desk attendant. I had to ask for replacement sheets and that seemed like a problem. But it was resolved nonetheless.
I know this is out of the hotel control but there were multiple police at the hotel for about 4 hours on Sunday. It would have been nice to just receive some sort of communication that there was not anything to be alarmed about

Pets hair was not cleaned on the bed. Blankets are completely dirty. When we tried to enter the room, the door already opened and found flys and mosquitoes. Bathroom has blood stains and stinking smell. Overall its pathetic experience. Red roof inn is not at all recommended.
