Didn’t make it. Booked the hotel and a rental car through Expedia. Showed up to get the rental and they didn’t have it. Called every rental car played within a 50 mile radius and all were sold out. Messaged Expedia to let them know and I still got charged for the hotel. So I didn’t get to go on vacation and still had to pay. Thanks Expedia

Breakfast good, but we had to ask that breakfast included t waive the charges. Location was good, room was big, bathroom was decent. Chair was moldy in the room and staff should be bit more friendly and inform about the things better. overall solid 3 plus but with few changes, can become 4 stars

Room was relatively clean but chair was worn and had visible stains. Furniture was austere and cheap looking. The drain in the bathroom sink was clogged and there was a slight smell of sewer gasses. I would not stay here again.

Great location in Pittsburgh with a lot of food and things to do in the area. It says there is onsite parking available but I think you have to be extremely lucky to actually not have to pay, it's all street parking. We finally gave up and used the valet service which was fine. It was quiet at night and we didn't have any problems.

The only \"amenity\" is the bar, which rarely has many people.

The staff tend to spend a fair amount of energy resenting working there.

The rooms are fine, spacious with spacious bathrooms and decent linens.

The location is fine for walking to places to eat. Dashers and drivers sometimes have trouble finding the entrance.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We traveled with our elderly parents and the rooms were large, walk-in showers were a huge plus and the staff was even able to provide a shower chair for my father-in-law. Would definitely stay here again!

Our room needed a bit of attention when we arrived (hand soap empty, TV cable missing) and the porter on night duty came to the rescue straight away. He was great! We also appreciate the menu and service at the bar and restaurant and the front desk employees have always been pleasant and helpful. Nice-sized rooms as well.

When i booked my stay, i was givin an option tk have my breakfast delivered to the room for an aditional $30. I chose this option. Paid. But come the morning after check in. I called fown for our meals and was ever so rudely told \"we dont do room service.\" i tried to explain to the receptionist i paid for it and was more than happy letting it go there.. but no. The lady started yellli g at me saying i was yelling at her, that shes gling to hangup and not answer if i call down further at all. Which she absolutely meant. I contacted igh to make a complaint but they game me the same run around. I want a refund on my the 400 i spebt for 1 night

Room was ok, suprised there was no refrigerator in the room. Housekeeping skipped us the first day so we had to call down to front desk for towels. Only 1 person on at front desk per shift so took a few tries before phone was answered. Parking is on the street (hard to find spots) or you pay $31 a day for valet parking.

Great location to explore different neighborhoods in Pittsburgh. You are a two minute drive from Shadyside, which has so many restaurants and bars and squirrel Hill. The staff here were very nice. Our hotel room had a huge window with a great view. It would be nice if they finish the bar restaurant so that it would feel more like a bar and restaurant but other than that, I have no complaints. The staff was very friendly.

This was a good hotel. Minor things like the safe in the room wasn’t working and no hairdryer in the bathroom. Staff was very nice, particularly the 2 ladies at the front desk, breakfast was decent and I would stay there again. Well-priced for the general Shadyside area.

The floor needed better cleaning. This happened before. Also the restaurant was not stocked well. Our server, Mackenzie, at the restaurant was excellent but there was hardly anything to choose from on the menu. We spoke to John and he explained there was a transition of managers and menu. This just needs to be addressed.
We like the location of the hotel but there needs to be more attention to these details.

OVERALL, WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN. Clean room, great staff.

However, No easy parking. Valet is $32...huh? Probably because they have to go far and wide to park the vehicle since there's no dedicated parking lot.
I originally asked for a king/pull out couch bed, and we had to be moved to a two-queen room. OMG the \"mattress\" on the pull-out was flat with the springs poking out. They really need to go thru all the rooms with pull-out couches and replace them. They did move us without extra cost. Breakfast was good.

Room was fine in terms of facilities, but cleaning was nonexistent. There was loose dirt on the floor and on HVAC unit when we arrived, to the point that you could feel it through socks. The next day we asked it be swept up. It was Christmas (reduced cleaning staff), but we were assured the room would be swept. It was not. Had 'full' cleaning service the next/third day, but the floor had recognizable little piles of dirt on it. Sheets were never changed over 3 night stay.

The room was huge with no furniture. The pullout couch was broken and would not pull out. The room requested was a suite for a reason, we had 5 people. There was nobody working at the front desk or the restaurant. We never checked out because nobody was there and many were waiting for more than 10 minutes. The place was just understaffed.
