Very nice stay but a bit expensive for the value. Pool and hot tub area were pleasant and clean. Room comfortable and clean but layout did not make it feel spacious. $20 fee for parking seemed unnecessary since there’s lots of space in the area.
Scenery is amazing and ChargePoint stations are available.

Upon check in we were told that parking is $20.00 USD per day.

Wasn’t very happy about that.

I reviewed my Expedia booking and in the information it said parking available amongst other details such as internet provided as well.

I rely on the total cost function of an Expedia booking when budgeting/planning and shouldn’t have to dig into the fine print where it says there is an additional al fee per day for parking a car.

I’m sure that 99% of travellers into Springdale arrive by car and do I’m fact need to park.

Reasonably - this parking cost should be more up front and obvious.

I’m likely not the first person checking in that didn’t read the fine print and was surprised by this.

I’m likely not the first person starting there stay at this location with disappointment.

Its also very likely something the front desk staff have to deal with frequently that is completely out of their control.

Nice hotel and location. Poor pricing disclosure on the Expedia add.

SpringHill was a very poor experience for us. We traveled all day and then got to the hotel around 6pm and we told at check-in that due to unforeseen circumstances we no longer had a room. I had reserved the room a month in advance, but when we arrived we were told that they had overbooked and they no longer had a room reserved for us. I told them I had reserved a room a month in advance and had a confirmation, but was told they often overbook. The only good thing was that the hotel contacted another hotel to get us a room at the Hampton. We were thankful for that as we were exhausted from our travels. Very disappointed that we planned our stay in advance and was told it was commonplace for SpringHill suites to overbook and not honor reservations.

Beautifully decorated and clean hotel. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. The hotel is within walking distance to lots of eateries and shuttle bus stop 6 is right outside on the road for Zion national park. There was parking too ($20 per night).

Many breakfast options with a beautiful view. Nicely maintained pool with another beautiful view. The Zion shuttle picks you up right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. Very nice, renovated and well-maintained rooms. The only downside it there is no laundry on site; requires 72 hours for returning laundered items.

Conveniently locations right next to a springdale free shuttle stop that take you to the park entrance. Clean room, clean buffet area with plenty of choices. They had a hot tub and a biliards table but didn't get a chance to use them. Also had a nice outdoor seating with fireplace. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Hallways were dirty and never cleaned while there. Room was okay. It smelled of dirty mop when first entering room. Room amenities were decent and beds were very comfortable. I didn’t give a higher rating due to being kept up late with kids running around upstairs. There is zero sound proof in floors. If you are traveling adults and staying in this hotel, request the second floor. Zion was extremely crowded with a 1 1/2 tram wait to get into actual hike stops and there was only two buses running up and down in Springdale to get tourists into park. We decided to leave two nights early due to no sleep and the park being overwhelmingly crowded. Ranger said it was due to tons of international groups that arrived. The hotel is about a mile and a half from park entrance. We walked the majority of time , not relaying on the bus system. I am hoping to go back to Zion when it’s less crowded to do more hikes. Avoid this time of year if you prefer to not be around tons of children. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again, but only on the second floor.

Check in was annoying. We stopped in at 2:52 pm to check in and told no rooms available and check in wasn’t until 3 pm. I said -OK we will hang out for 10 minutes and come back. Came back at 3:03 and told no rooms available because they were sold out the night before. Didn’t make any sense and she was a bit snooty. Finally a room opened and we kind of got what we deserved. Could have all been avoided with some simple, honest communication. Management needs to work with their employees on that.

King room was spacious and we were out in an accessible room. Television was well off to the side of the bed in an awkward position to watch. There were no outlets on one side of the bed so couldn’t have phone plugged in near to you and no clock either. I’ve machine outside of room was very noisy cuz everyone’s getting ice.

Breakfast was excellent. Hot food choices changed daily with real scrambled eggs every day. Fresh fruit, bagels, waffle bar, juices etc. all kept fresh and clean. Pool and hot tub were very nice and clean. Could use a few more chairs at the pool but not you get a chair it’s super comfy.

Good location right by the Springdale bus line and several restaurants and a small market/liquor store a short walk across the parking lot. They did charge $20 a night to park which wasn’t disclosed when we made reservation. I just paid rather than trying to mention it to the short snooty front desk. A few overlooked matters keeps this from getting a 5.

The staff was friendly & professional, great breakfast with many choices, it was very clean but getting a free Wi-Fi (we have iPhones) was a huge problem, I spent 45 min trying to resolve it & eventually paid for it. And the parking was way too expensive. We will not stay there again as we got much better deal at Red Cliffs Lodge Zion with free & easy to get Wi-Fi and paid less for parking.

We would happily stay again.

Two complaints we must address were the parking fee which was $20 a night which we weren’t aware of when we booked. In a place with tight parking like San Francisco or Manhattan that’s expected, but in a remote location like Zion where nearly all tourists drive in from afar, on top of staying in the “off season” in mid January with parking spaces available galore, this felt like more of a rip off than an anything.

Second was the hotel lobby staff. When we asked her where we could do laundry, she said the hotel’s laundry was closed, that there was no laundry available in Springdale and that the closest one was in another town over. This info was wrong, and luckily the cleaning staff informed us that the onsite laundry was actually working. That info saved us a 80 minute journey.

Room was clean and comfortable with nice tall ceilings, but beware of the fees. I don't consider $75 / per night for a well behaved dog a 'pet friendly hotel'. They also charge for parking despite the very large parking lot. It just seems like they are using fees to make up for lower room rates.

Its minor, however it would have been nice to have a set of drinking glasses in the room.
