We enjoyed all the recreational opportunities. One of the two pools was closed but plenty of space in the open pool. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The pizza was good in the main dining room but not a lot of other options besides pizza, burgers, or chicken tenders. The glamping tents were spacious but wish they were spread out more. Some late arrivals kept us up one night as they were trying to unload with all the tents clumped together. Overall I'd come back as this place is great for families with all the recreation amenities. Lot more relaxed then staying down in the canyon.

Our room was so dirty, specifically the floors and towels. They sent someone to clean it, but it still wasn't clean. The big pool was closed and there was no mention of it prior to booking or when I was checking in. Overall, it's a beautiful property and the staff were very kind, but I probably wouldn't return just based on the lack of cleanliness. We did get free eggs from one of the staff members, that came from a local farm.

it’s ok. Super friendly staff; for 335 a night you’d think they’d fix the broken football table - it was busted up with pieces missing or broken off 3 years ago when we came. If you need a new ones i’d happily send you one in the mail; your rec room could be so much better than it is. Greed isn’t always good if you can’t even replace a football table when cabins are 300 a night…but what do i know? 4pm check in and 10am checkout is laughable

Fun place to stay, lots of amenities and activities to do. Staff is friendly. The restaurant got our food out pretty quickly even when busy. The ice cream store was very very slow and the showers could've been cleaned more often but other than that, overall great stay!

Hello, I would like to request compensation regarding my recent stay. The property listing on Expedia was misleading and did not clearly disclose that there would be no kitchen, limited living space, and no private bathroom for almost $198 per night.

Additionally, the room conditions were unacceptable. The room was dusty and dirty, there were spider webs throughout the space, and the trash bin was already full upon arrival. We requested a room change, but the second room had the same cleanliness issues.

We traveled from another state expecting a comfortable stay, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. I have photos documenting the condition of the property and would appreciate a partial refund, compensation, or travel credit for this experience.

Cabins were cute and comfortable. The pool was really fun for the kids. Wish we would have been there longer to take advantage of some of the other activities on-site. Only complaint: although you can order food from the restaurant,it was REALLY busy both days and looked understaffed. Lots of people with numbers on tables and very little food out...we left and ate elsewhere.

We had the two bedroom cabin and it worked well for two parents and three kids. The cabin is small but well designed, very clean modern bathroom and shower. The main lodge is so cute and the restaurant excellent. Wish we had more time to spend at the resort. The advantage of staying on East side of Zion is the drive into the park is beautiful and also there is no line at the entrance of the park (unlike the main other entrance).

Whether you consider this property to be a good value for the money will depend on how much you value some of the amenities like the tennis courts, the basketball court, the ability to kayak on a little artificial lake, the pools, etc. They were not of much interest to me, so my $200-a-night tent felt very pricey. I ended up just driving home late on my last afternoon/evening and not even spending the final night there. I just didn’t care for the “noisy campground” feel of the place. Still, there aren’t many options on the east side of Zion National Park, so you may choose to stay here anyway if you are going to pursue activities in this area like I did.

The property has a very strong smell from what appears to be a sewage treatment over the hill. The showers for campers are disgusting and need to be upgraded. We chose not to shower versus going into those awful showers. Bright spot is the food was good and staff are kind.

Location was nice. The cabin we stayed felt like newly built, well set up. The problems: water pressure was horrible and water heater ran out of hot water before a shower ended; no washer/dryer even though it was advertised; one bathroom had terrible sewer smell when you run water, didn’t go away overnight; and the property around the cabin had trash that needed to be picked up. Floors in cabin were not swept/vacuumed.

Everything was excellent, and the only reason I would say one one area of "improvement" would be to turn on the pool heaters sooner in the year, but I can understand why they weren't on yet. One of the MAIN reasons we chose the resort was because of the pool... We still had a super fun time with the freezing cold pool water because there was a nice warm hot tub turned on.

The door to our room wouldn't latch, someone had to come fix it. The front desk and activities desk time was very limited, the pool and hot tubs were also very limited. We found rodent droppings in the pool towels. We've stayed here before and had a great time. This time, not so much.

The room was spacious and spotless, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming! We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our short stay was filled with wonderful memories. If you’re on your way to Zion Canyon or Bryce Canyon definitely stop by and check this place out-it’s truly worth it. We would love to return again in the future!

Staff was super nice but the shared bathrooms were pretty dirty. The showers had no soaps and needed to be cleaned. For the price of the glamping side I would expect a better bathroom. Not all the amenities were open in November which also made the price seem not worth it. The drive to Zion shuttle was 45 min. It was a great atmosphere otherwise and a nice break from the crowds.

DO NOT eat at the restaurant! Terrible service and the chicken skewer smelled nauseatingly bad. My children and I were dropped off by friends and I had only cash. After driving for almost 4 hours from Las Vegas we were starving. The young boy at the register did not want to accept cash because it was close to closing time. My children got teary eyed when they realized we couldn’t pay for our food and thankfully the man behind us offered to pay with his card. Unbelievable! The rude cashier told us the salad bar was closed and he let the people behind us go and serve themselves. Unbelievable right! When we finally got our food, my daughter’s chicken fingers were still frozen in the middle and my chicken skewer smelled very bad. When I gave it to the receptionist he had to put it on the side because of the bad smell. I mentioned it at checkout and the lady told me to go deal with the restaurant. But I didn’t dare enter that terrible place. The cashier didn’t care leaving me and my children hungry because we only had cash and I didn’t expect him to care that they served us rotten chicken. I have never had such bad experience in my entire adult life. He couldn’t hide his annoyance that we entered the restaurant at 1:10 and they were closing at 1:30. Everyone else was nice and the stay was fun, but definitely would try a different place next time. Worst place to spend $54 dollars for rotten chicken and still frozen in the middle chicken fingers!!!!!

Well, except or all of this...

So, this is our own fault. We should have complained more when we were there. I suppose this place is great if you have kids camping with you. Our propane tank was empty, no-one answers the phone number on the check-in instructions sheet. The bathrooms and showers are really moldy-mildewy-smelly, and our mattress (under the pad- we checked for bed bugs) was covered in mouse-poop that we cleaned up ourselves because, by this point, we were just feeling defeated by our choice. The glamping tent was in a tight circle and you really hear everything happening at the campfire in front of you and the circle of cabins behind you. The furniture was looking tired and early yard-sale in design. Maybe for you, not for us.

One of our favourite places we stayed on our roadtrip! Beautiful setting - tranquil, novel (stayed in a wagon), great facilities for the kids (some equipment a little tired, but not an issue for us), lovely pool/spa area with slides. Kids loved the kayaking & SUP on little lake. Loved that we could have a campfire and eat outside our wagon. Stars were AMAZING! If you want to do the shooting, be sure to book in advance, as limited availability & times. Horseriding was a great into for the kids - really enjoyable. Handy having restaurant onsite. Can buy ice, but no communal fridge available if glamping. Mini golf was fun for the kids. Nb: there’s an additional charge for some of the activities. Love our visit - would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

The staff was super nice. Becky at the front desk was a joy…. And the maintenance guy (Shaun) helped us fix a flat tire. He even went out of the way to plug it for us and even brought us the pebble that caused the flat. It will be going in our scrapbook! Lots of things to do on site that we went from 2 nights to 3! When booked I did not realize that I was booking cabins with a community bathroom/shower room. Due to people in the group with mobility issues this would not work. I explained this to the desk and the were very helpful in upgrading us to a tiny home which had 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Cannout say enough good about this place.

The property/cabins are great. The staff was mostly really, really disinterested in the guests. They rarely even greeted us without us saying “Hi” first. The standout exception was the young brazilian lady at the ice cream shop whi was really friendly and helpful to all. Front desk, restaurant, pool, and outdoor shop couldn’t be bothered to even look up when people walked in. It’s sad, because it’s a great place, and it was if noone had ever trained them on customer service basics.

Well upon a fabulous check in we were met with a room that was so dirty it turned ur socks black within minutes..the bathroom had long black hairs all over the shower and floor..I had to hose down the shower and give it a scrub before showering myself with flip flops on.it was gross..

Lots of activities on the ranch (horseback riding, swimming, supboarding etc.) and lay-out was great. However, some facilities were in need of some remodelling and the cleaning of bath-/restroom need more attention. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our stay here and it is a great option for when you are planning to visit Zion NP.

Overall we had a great time! The Glamping tent was a little ran down. But the front check in told us as we checked in not an email prior to our arrival that open was was not allowed during this time per fire Marshall I asked how long had this been in effect she stated 2 wks. So we had purchased all this food, fire wood and etc just to be told as we checked in we couldn’t use our fire pit or bbq grill and it was propane only. Luckily I had brought a griddle for breakfast that we had to use to cook all our food. But no power source close to the outside of our tent. The power source was in the middle of our tent and the neighbors so while cooking we were half on their property. Tents are way too close I could hear our neighbors conversation while in our tent. No parking next to our tent but within close distance. It was very hot in the tent during the day but really cold at night. Front check in staff also didn’t give us much information as to when I heard someone else getting checked in they told them the schedule of what was going to be going on such as roasting marshmallows etc. minus the few cons we had our family had a great time and we really enjoyed ourselves and the amenities here. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. Thank ponderosa ranch! All other staff was amazing and very helpful. Stargazing that they offer was well worth it and really amazing!

Very nice resort. Family friendly with so much to do, 2 swimming pools, miniature golf, kayaking in a large pond, rock wall, playground, gift shop, and several other activities. They also have East Zion Adventures on site. They have casual dining options and the food was very good. They offer numerous options for lodging at very reasonable price points. The sunset colors were stunning. Definitely would stay here again.

We regret not staying more than 1 night! We saw once we got there SO many activities on the property we just didnt get a chance to enjoy due to arriving late and leaving early but I could have stayed a week to reall enjoy all they had to offer.
