The Narathiwas is really a nice place to stay. The staff in all areas are extremely helpful, professional and courteous. I have been here for over a month now and moved a couple of times but kept coming back here. My only regret is that it is not close to a BTS or MRT but the shuttle will tae you there free of charge at various times of the day and the shuttle driver is amazingly helpful and a safe driver.

Staff are very good and polite. Housekeeping is very good.
Several restaurants near-by + on-site restaurant.
Walkable to Rama 3 Central mall.
Groceries - Tops and Lotus are walkable.
The 2 bedroom unit is spacious.
The finishing and decorations for public area are nice, but the room is a little bit worn-out. Some patching and painting could make it a lot better.

The lack of towels. I need them for dilating but I had to argue just to get an extra one.

The security guard who entered my room without permission and demanding 100 BAHT because he couldn’t feed himself. That was so rude and creepy. Why do door security have key cards to our room?!

I love the area and the property is nice rooms are big but the carpets needs to be cleaned and the pool area needs to be repaired there were a few boards the popped up when you stepped on them right by the entrances to the pool.

Relaxing stay in a busy city.

The hotel was a bit difficult to get to by foot, but once there, it had everything you could need. The room was very long, it was a studio but it had a sofa, 2 TVs, kitchen and dining table. The AC was implemented in the most thoughtful way ive experienced in hotels on my week long trip, nextto the bed but not blowing directly onto the bed. The area arroud the hotel was compact, but had all the necessities, 7-eleven within 100m of the front door, restaurants within 300m. Lots of choice for food, Indian, Chinese, Thai, and even a smoothie stand. Also within short walking distance to a Central shopping mall.

The property was ok, and the room had a kitchenette. There were no pots, pans, and cutterly. The surrounding property was a convenient walk to a mini-mart, grocery store, and restaurants. Central Rama 3 Mall 16-minute brisk walk if you don't mind the heat and smog. I would stay there again if I needed to be in that part of Bangkok.

Ummmm.......

1.Soooo.....the kitchenette lacks a burner which means you have a fridge and empty cabinets, riddle me that!
2. Make sure you get a room you can cook in if thats your plan, otherwise you'll have to pay to eat.
3. Property is at least 30 minutes from any entertainment.
4. Santuary of truth is incredibly far so you'll need to get hire a guide, but be sure they don't rush you, they like to rush you in Bangkok, all the way around.
5. If you like sleeping on a hard bumpy floor, their beds are right up your alley.
6. Customer service was good, dispite a few of the women at the reception desk.
7. Laundering works if your lucky. Only one of the dryers work the others will take your 80baht.
8. If your looking to lay out in the sun you can count that out, pool outdoor but covered.
Other than that i mean at least they hard hotter than luke warm water.
This is a resort style hotel so plan accordingly.

I won't be back, but far for me to judge ones experience.
Just plan accordingly 😌

Property in need of major renovation

Pros: Located within 20min from most of Bangkok's tourist destinations. Convenience stores, pharmacy, mart, school, restaurants, coffee shops located walk-able distance from property. Friendly staff at reception and restaurant. Comfy bed, spacious rooms
Cons: Property badly in need of major renovation. Dirty carpet and flooring, rust particles in tap water, noise of barking dogs and roosters every morning. All machines in the gym were unusable. Totally inadequate breakfast buffet.

I always stay at the Narathiwas Residence in Bangkok. The size of the rooms and the facilities available makes it remarkable value. Recently, due to Covid, breakfast is served in your room, but when the restaurant is open the breakfasts are excellent (both Asian and Western).

Only two pillows, non-Thai Channel TV was limited to BBC, and CNN only.
No utensils were provided.
No guides or explanation given for where the facilities are.
No one helped with our baggages at check-in.
Moldy smells from AC.

Pricier for that kind of quality.

Far from BtS/MRT or skytrains.

We had a great stay. :) The room was very spacious with 2 bedrooms and its near the mall Central Plaza Rama 3 but if you’ll be asking them to clean your room note them to change the bed sheets because they’re not changing the sheet covers. The staffs are very friendly and there’s lots of shops, restaurants and street foods near by. Can easily ride a cab too.

It took a lot of taxi time to find it .
The rooms are great and excellent pool.

I visited this hotel on Friday 04/19 for one nite. Easy check in They dont except debit cards only credit cards or cash.
Dep is available to be left by cash 1000 bah per day
$30.00 US. The outside pool is huge & clean.
Walk outside the hotel you have a Starbucks, 7 11 & subway. Staff friendly, the apt has 2 bedrooms 2 full bathroom, huge livingroom & kitchen.
Overall i would definitely recommend for 3 or more people.

Good hotel for the price

It is a good hotel to base yourself, though best to travel round the city after 9.30AM to avoid rush hour. The breakfast is good with lots of selection.

The front desk told the wrong floor and when we came back to inform him about this. He did not apologies.
No staff did help with the baggage, except one security guy helped us. But he always ask for tip every time he do something.
The Hotel in general was good, but not many staff working there, everywhere we go no staff. They need to pay attention about service and hire more staff.

Comfortable and convenient

After several stays in the neighborhood, I have considered it one of my most favorite even the room was not the most spacious, nor with nicest design, but it was comfortable enough in good layout of separate dining and sitting areas, especially with the outdoor pool view which added to the appetite for every meal! Also the location was very convenient for various dining options, and there was daily shuttle service to nearby shopping malls and public transport.

Pay 500 for a pan

Kitchen has stove but had to call for plates and cutleries. If want a pan or pot, get a pay 500 extra. Room is 2450 baht, why pay more to get what should have been there in the first place.

Very pleasant stay. Part of the same complex as our friends Condo. Made for a very nice visit. Bit room with plenta of storage space. Two minor negative items: no cooking utensils given for short term guests. WiFi didn't work on 2 different days of a 7 night stay, appeared to be their authentication server error.

Overall was good, value for money. Pretty spacious and is near to eateries (by taxi). In terms of walking distance, there isn't much. Customer service was good, spoke Thai, English and Mandarin. The place is huge albeit a little old. Could work on the toilet amenities.

First time at this hotel, but definitely not the last! The room might not be the most spacious in neighbourhood and not really close to public transport, but shuttle service to nearby shopping malls and nearest BTS station could help. It was comfortable with full amenities in the room as well as Starbucks and 4 branches of 7-11 in walking distance!

Stayed in tower one, the main tower. The room was fine and TV had American movie channels. The breakfast buffet is very good. The location is a little tucked away but this makes for very quite nights. The staff is great, good place to stay. No issues with WiFi strong signal fast download times.
