Foliage on property is beautiful. No A/C, smells of mildew. Pool & access to the beach is on point. Very very quiet property, no music anywhere. Clientele is older, late sixties. Food buffet is delightful.

The gardens in which the hotel is built are beyond comparison, a real oasis. The pool is very attractive, with plenty of sunbed area around it. The beach, the local restaurants, the little shops and the bus stop are all very close, and there is a good walking route to the town of Santa Cruz avoiding the main road (50 mins).

The property grounds are lovely here, including the natural gardens and the pool, as well as the resident pets! One downside would be the rooms themselves, no a/c and amenities not up to date.

Beautiful and tranquil place to stay

What a stunning place to stay! There was a real sense of peace and tranquility in and around the hotel during my 3 nights. The gardens are absolutely beautiful. My apartment had everything I needed and the receptionists were very helpful.

Two things to consider: There's no air conditioning which wasn't too big an issue in December but may be over the summer. In addition, there's not much in the way of soundproofing between apartments which meant I was woken up at 7am each morning by the people next door. Again, it wasn't too big a deal as I wanted to be up to explore the island but those who want to sleep in late may find this to be an issue.

We loved the way the rooms were situated in amongst the beautiful tropical gardens, not only with interesting plants but also turtles, fish, ducks, a parrot and a number of cats.

Good points:
Beautiful gardens, friendly staff, good breakfast, premium apartment was newly refurbished and well equipped.
Bad points:
Parking is annoying, as can never get anywhere near hotel entrance.
Dinner is not a relaxing experience as staff are busily setting up for tomorrow’s breakfast from 8:30 onwards.
Room safe should not be an extra charge.
It can be quite noisy in the room due to poor soundproofing.

Everything is spot on. Brilliant welcome, accommodation is immaculate, the food is very good quality with a vast selection at the breakfast and dinner buffets
The staff are really friendly and more than happy to organise anything for you. Highly recommended.

Beauty both inside and outside.

The hotel is located in a beautifully designed garden with tropical flora, close to a nice natural beach. It consists of several buildings mimicking original local architecture.The rooms are furnishded and decorated in a tasty manner. The inhabitants can use a spacious swiimming pool located in the centre of the garden. Concerts of classical music three times a week. A small kitchen in each appartment helps to families with children. Close to the airport. A great value for the money.

Excellent Apartment Stay with Beautiful Gardens

We recently stayed at the Hacienda San Jorge at the beginning of September, we really found this to be a beautiful hotel, extremely pleasant hotel employees throughout the hotel.
In the hotel grounds there are some stunning gardens that are very nice to wander around, it really is a credit to the hotel and their employees how nice these gardens are.
The hotel is in a good situation, very close to the beach, close to all local amenities like the shops, bars and restaurants. It is also only approximately a 40 minute walk from the main port town of Santa Cruz de La Palma, which is a beautiful old town with some lovely looking buildings.
I would recommend this hotel and the Island of La Palma to anyone!

Nice hotel, but could be better.

The hotel area is quite good, near of the aeroport and with all facilities near by.
The gardens and skyline are amazing.
In the check in reception staff ask us for credit card, but there was no information about it when we booked the holidays.
The mattress in the sofa bed is horrible. You can feel every metal and wood stuff under it. We actually used the floor to sleep. It was more confortable than the mattress.
The cleaning is ok. But, They don´t let any sponge and detergent to wash the dishers and they don´t wash it either. Even when you can see that towels and bed sheets are dirty, they don´t change them. You have to ask for a change.
We have had so rude neighbors. They have been banging our walls, because They expect us to sleep at 10pm. They called the reception to complain because we were having shower and cooking after 10pm. For our surprise, reception called us to say that we could not use shower, toilet flush and kitchen after 10pm. This is absuletely ridiculous and off course we just ignored them and continue doing are lives.
We tried to ask for a pack lunch one day and It was a nightmare. Sandwiches were disgusting wiht old bread, dry and greasy.
The breakfast was quite nice. The have different choices and every thing looked fresh.
Restaurant staff, cleaning and most of the reception staff were very nice.
On tele 85% of the channels are in german.

Brilliant location, great value for money

The hotel is only 3km from the airport but is not affected by noise from the few outbound flights. The black sand beach is on it's doorstep and there are lots of good restaurants nearby. Good rooms, great cleanliness. Recommended.

Es war ein angenehmer Aufenthalt, modernes sauberes Zimmer, die wunderschöne Gartenlandschaft um den Pool herum hat uns gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war top, das Abendessen schmeckte gut, wobei von der Auswahl hätte ich etwas mehr erwartet. Der Speisesaal war nicht gerade gemütlich und laut, draußen sitzen war angenehm. Sauna musste leider extra bezahlt werden für eine kurze zeitlich begrenzte Zeit und muss vorher bestellt werden. Trotzdem würde ich das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Établissement agréable et bien situé.

Hôtel de bon standing avec un très bon accueil du personnel. Très beaux jardins et piscine spacieuse. La formule en demi pension sous forme de buffets est très correcte mais un peu orientée vers la clientèle allemande. Chambre très propre et bien équipée. Bien vérifier la facture des consommations en partant, des erreurs sont si vite arrivées...

Wirklich ein tolles Hotel. Alles wird sehr gepflegt und sauber geputzt.
Wir hatten etwas Pech mit unserem Zimmer, es war so dunkel dass man auch durch den Tag elekrtrisches Licht brauchte. Ein Zimmerwechsel war nicht möglich, obwohl das Zimmer nebenan die ganze Zeit frei war.

Great location and very comfortable

The location of the hotel is excellent as there are bars,restaurants and the beach minutes away. The buildings are quite old but our apartment had obviously been updated and renovated recently. The size was perfect and the amenities all we needed. The botanical gardens on the property are spectacular and the pool and surrounding area is large. We ate a couple of times in the restaurant and enjoyed the selection in the buffet, also the staff are efficient and friendly. One negative is that there is only ever one person manning the reception regardless of how many guests are waiting. This was very frustrating. Also, for people hiring cars, a lot of patience is needed in finding a parking space as there are none allocated to the hotel and several times we had to drive round the local area several times before we found one. Otherwise, all in all, we were very happy with our stay.

No me gustó el agua de la piscina demasiado clorada. No se podía abrir los ojos bajo el agua.
El buffet del desayuno se podría mejorar.
El resto bastante bien. El lugar en general es muy bonito y agradable. La playa a un paso perfecto.

No tiene aire acondicionado y calor horrible. Conseguimos un ventilador justo el último día. Lo peor que intentaron cobrarnos 2€/día por la cajita fuerte de la habitación lo cual en un Hotel que pagas más de 120€ al díame pareció horroroso. Tampoco tiene aparcamiento y hay que aparcar el coche lejísimos.

La struttura è immersa in un giardino tropicale con animali (pappagallo, gatti, palmipedi, tortore...).
La piscina è ampia e ben curata.
La camera è grande ma l'armadio è insufficiente per 2 persone. Inoltre manca il bidet. Il materasso è scomodo. Il buffet offre una buona varietà di piatti, anche se un pò ripetitivi. Male i secondi piatti, carne dura. Colazione ok. Personale gentile e disponibile.

La Palma, paz y auténtica naturaleza

Nuestra estancia ha sido inmejorable. Todo el personal de servicio, desde los camareros hasta el personal de recepción, nos han tratado con gran amabilidad y cercanía.
Los menús muy variados, con ingredientes frescos y naturales. El entorno maravilloso, lleno de paz y naturaleza. Ha sido máa de lo que esperábamos. Esperamos volver de nuevo!

Trevlig hotellanläggning men slitet rum/lägenheten. Vi åt endast ett par luncher som var ok. Trädgården var den stora behållningen. Läget ok, funkar att promenera in till asanta Cruz och ta buss/taxi tillbaka.

Et flot anlagt hotel.

Et flot og veldrevet hotel, med højt service niveau. Pæne og rene værelser. Stor og lækker morgenmadsbuffet. Der er en stor og flot swimmingpool. Selve hotel området er anlagt som en botanisk have med en stor samling af eksotiske træer og planter, området er forbundet med fint anlagte stier mellem alle planterne.

호텔 정원이 매우 인상적이었다. 아기자기하게 꾸민 오솔길과 다양한 동물들, 특히 친밀도가 높은 고양이들이 정말 귀여웠고 휴식에 도움이 되었다. 호텔 정원을 통해 나가면 바로 해변이 있어 편리했다.

grosses Touristenhotel, Appartments mit sehr unterschiedlicher lage und blick, am besten wohl in der 4./5. oder in der nördlichen Seite der 3. Etage des Hauptgebaeudes mit Meerblick, es gibt aber auch Appartments direkt an der Strasse oder mit Blick Richtung Pool. Grosser unbeheizter Salzwasserpool. Hotel nur durch Strasse vom Meer mit schwarzem Sandstrand getrennt. Schwierige Parkplatzsituation um das Hotel herum, man muss den Mietwagen mglw. etwas entfernt parken, es sei denn man bucht diesen im Hotel. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Nach unserem Eindruck ist dies das beste Hotel in Breña Baja.

Das umliegende Breña Baja ist rein touristisch geprägt und hat null Flair oder Authentizität, das Wetter ist hier ausserdem schlechter als an der Westküste. Fahrzeit nach Los Llanos eine knappe Stunde, zurück etwas schneller.

Uno de los mejores hoteles en la isla.

El hotel es muy bonito,sobretodo la zona de jardines y piscina.La habitación apartamento es amplia bien equipada con terraza. El desayuno bufete es amplio y variado.El bufett de cena no me gusto tanto ,se abusa un poco des salsas y guisos, y se descuida un poco la calidad del,producto. la repostería es muy buena.
la situación del hotel es buena, en frente tiene la playa de los cáncanos ySanta cruz de la Palma esta muy cerca. Es la segunda vez que nos alojamos en el y no nos defraudo.
