The staff, specially Art from guest relations who ensured my stay was as comfortable as possible, making it memorable and stress free, informing me of all that was going on, changing and booking my day needs and desires.

Small issues with the room but promptly fixed. Although the beds are spacious and somewhat comfortable, personally I’d rather have a mattress with memory foam topper, as opposed to a cotton/polyester one as this provides little support. But no option for that, a small improvement there maybe required for people who have memory foam mattresses at home and were on a long stay like myself.

Facilities are well looked after and clean, beach is lovely specially if you’re on the end of it, free from all the other people on the beach.

Privacy is important on all my stays so I didn’t feel like this was an issue.

Breakfast buffet was very good and catered for all cultures!

Overall a very pleasant 8 days, a small improvement on the bed would take it to the next level for me, but would return and recommend!

My stay at JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa was absolutely unforgettable. The resort is stunning, with unique architecture, beautiful beachfront surroundings, and an atmosphere of pure luxury. The room was spacious, stylish, and impeccably maintained. Staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make the stay special. The food, facilities, and overall experience were exceptional. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Phu Quoc. Be aware, the prices at the resort are a bit more expensive than what you'd expect in the rest of Vietnam.

It was our first staying here and we love it! The welcome was great and we feel the warmth. I was with my mother and she had some teeth discomfort but the staff was so kind and attentive - she really enjoyed it! We stayed for 3 nights here and would definitely come back again next year! The property sits on an amazing beach - clean, warm, calm water that extends over 100 yards out at depth of no more that 4 ft. The whole premise of the property - an old French university - is a bit childish. Kids may love it, instagram influences may get great photos, but adults who want to relax will find it cheesy. The Pink Pearl - the fine dining restaurant is eye watering expensive - $500 USD for two + tip. I would advise strongly to pass - not worth the money. The room was dusty in areas. Overall for the money, I would give another property a chance to earn my business.

It was a first time visit in Phu Quoc for our family. We were greeted immediately and given an in depth tour of the facilities. Throughout the stay we were very pleased with the consistent, friendly service from all of the staff. The breakfast buffet was standout - a beautifully curated assortment from all cuisines.

What made our visit most memorable was Sang. They helped us from the beginning and was always readily available - offering recommendations and checking in constantly to make sure we always had something to do. Their service was easily one of the most attentive and genuine we’ve ever received worldwide. Overall, a great time with a staff with your best interests at heart. Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing time at this wonderful hotel! The beach is crystal clear and the pools are lovely. A special thanks to May who treated our daughter so kindly and really looked after us. Also, a huge thank you to Mia and Ruby for our relaxing massages. The staff all around the resort are extremely polite and helpful. The food options are great; we especially enjoyed our dinner at the Pink Pearl restaurant. The whole experience from start to finish was superb!

Our first visit to Phu Quoc was made truly unforgettable by our stay at the JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay. We opted for a spacious one-bedroom villa, while our friend enjoyed the stunning Turquoise Suite, complete with a private pool and breathtaking ocean views. The resort’s whimsical, university-themed concept was a delight, offering countless opportunities for memorable photos. One of the highlights was dining at the Pink Pearl, a restaurant that perfectly balances glamour and indulgence with its exquisite decor and superb culinary experience. Special thanks to the exceptional butler team, Di, Joy, and Marcus, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and memorable. Ms. Di reached out to us even before our arrival, arranging a thoughtful celebration for our anniversary. The personalized service extended to a warm welcome from the General Manager, which made us feel truly valued. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, featuring a wide variety of options from authentic Vietnamese dishes to international favorites. The only drawback was the strong winds during our stay, which unfortunately limited our ability to fully enjoy the beautiful Emerald Bay and Ice Cream Beach. However, the resort is conveniently located—just a short bus ride to Sunset Town with its vibrant dining scene, as well as close proximity to Sun World and the Kiss Bridge. Overall, JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return!

A fun and unique concept with excellent maintenance, service, food & beverage.
The location was also important for me. Personally, I prefer An Thoi area to Long Beach.
Thank you to Manager Phoung who took good care of us, and Instructor Ha for a wonderful yoga experience by the beach during sunrise.

From the moment we checked in, we were disappointed with our stay. We had wanted a romantic trip together. The room we were given was not at all private. People constantly walking back and forth, looking in. Employees hanging out outside our room taking their balls. Literally no privacy at all. We had specifically chosen a room with a balcony because we wanted to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view, but were given a room without one.

The solutions we were offered were insufficient. We were shown one room upstairs which was filthy and dusty.

A manager, \"Jay\" bothered us at breakfast the next morning. Instead of letting us eat in peace when we made it clear it wasn't a good time to talk, he wouldn't leave and kept insisting the employee hanging out outside our room wasn't smoking. As if that changed the fact that we still had no privacy.

The day of checkout, he again approached us. \"I was going to offer you a treatment at the spa, but since you already booked something, nevermind.\" So why even say that? The customer service skills and etiquette of the employees here are severely lacking.

This place is incredible. The epitome of a 5 star experience. The Management Team and the staff are very courteous, trying very hard to ensure our comfort and that we are happy. The efforts are very well appreciated.

The Management is also trying very hard to keep the condition of the property, and under the harsh tropical, rainy and with the close proximity to the sea, it is not an easy task; but the Team had done exceptionally well.
To us, entering the property seems more like walking into Disneyland than a tropical resort.

On the shortfall, the temperature of the water heater can turn up a bit. The hot water in both my room (1002) and in the spa was not very high, even when I tried to turn to “all” hot water, it was not hot enough.

Also, the electricity was a bit unstable, with 2-3 short shortages a night. The aircon will be be stopped and was a nuisance in the middle of the night.

The hotel has a very cool, quirky, and unique design concept.

Check-in was smooth and easy with friendly staff welcoming us in despite the obvious that they were extremely busy with a full lobby checking in.

The room...wow, wow, wow! Stunning layout with immense balcony with incredible sea view. Bed super comfortable too! The only fault in the room was the shocking lack of hooks...including in the bathroom - not a hook anywhere in sight. We had to get creative on where we wanted to hang our towels and other items. One other thing is noise, at night we could hear our neighbors...first night someone left their TV blasting all night, second night someone had a party which promoted me to call at 2am to complain. The rest of the stay was quieter.

Breakfast is one of the best we’ve ever had!

Beach is clean, water is clear and pools are great, though a bit chilly.

We enjoyed some of the activities and recommend the jog, bike ride and darts...skip the bar drink making. If we had more time definitely would have done more. The activity staff are awesome!

Hit the gym, it’s modern and wonderful...plus burn off that breakfast.

Actually speaking of the bar, this was the one place where service fell short and wait times were excessive. We actually decided to not return after two negative experiences at the bar.

Now despite some minor things, put this hotel on your must stay list!! It was incredible and just writing about it makes me smile!!

My 4D3N Stay in JW Phu Quoc

The room that we stayed in was spacious with an awesome sea view. The toilet was beautifully designed and was spacious. I love the attention to details of the designer. The hotel staff were polite and helpful at all times. They can speak good English. I would also strongly recommend the hot stone treatment at the spa. It was one of the best experience I’ve had. While the breakfast buffet was great, my experience at the pink pearl during dinner was affected by the quality of the food. The service staff and ambience at the restaurant was great. However, the food is average or poor. We’ve had a dish for starter which consists of avocado. It was very bitter and the taste affected our taste bud for the following dishes. Although the Chef and staff were apologetic, it left us disappointed especially after so many good reviews we’ve read about the restaurant. Overall, I would encourage everyone to stay at this resort if you were to visit Phu Quoc

Picturesque resort with private beach

Wonderful stay. Room was spacious and very clean. Morning buffet was one of the best I ever had. Three large pools one of which was an adult pool where you could enjoy peaceful time while your kids can run around as much as they like in other two pools. Beautiful private beach. Not exactly surfing beach but you could still enjoy waves with the gears the resort provide. Everything was just wonderful except for one minor thing - on the beach, resort facilities were being used by people who clearly didn’t look like residents of the resort. The crowd was rowdy, smoking, even taking shower using the water hose of the resort. Outside of this incident everything was just perfect. I would surely recommend this place!

I had read a lot of the reviews on this hotel and most were spot on. What made this such an enjoyable holiday were the staff - nothing is too much trouble. The rooms were beautiful and the beach was kept immaculate by staff all day every day. Breakfast was amazing but the choice for lunch and dinner was average.
There is not much else to see and do in Phu Quoc so if you are happy to just sit on the beach or by the pools and relax then this is the place.

The JW is enchanting from the moment you sit in the dramatic reception/ lobby and enjoy the cold towel and iced ginger tea. Tran was extremely gracious and helpful at both check in and check out. Everyone at the resort is clearly dedicated to ensuring that you have a memorable experience - their attentiveness and kindness is evident in every detail. From the lovely staff who left me folded towels shaped into animals with kind handwritten notes each day, to those who remember faces and names and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Thuny was one of those members, who made both my pool and nightly dining even better.

Beyond the hospitality, the resort is beautiful with its creative and playful architecture. No detail is overlooked as you walk through the spacious property with its numerous restaurants and pools and shops. There is something for everyone, including those with families or traveling alone. Then you arrive to the room- all I can say is wow! I had a 5th floor view of the beach and shell pool. The dramatic foyer and bath, very high ceilings, and spectacular views made my stay extraordinary. Like the property, the room incorporates the french colonial style to create a bright and vibrant room with modern amenities. The room is so well-appointed that I could have just stayed upstairs and on the balcony for days. But the infinity pools and the pristine beach called - take a kayak or paddle board out! Truly amazing stay.

房間大致整潔,裝修非常美麗, 可惜我想入廁所時,發現廁所門口有一隻小蜘蛛在門前半空懸掛, 嚇得我目定口呆！心想通知酒店, 但發現酒店床上有一張卡寫到這酒店環境有壁虎 , 所以預料這些郊外一定有小昆蟲出現,所以才沒有報告.
但論服務及環境,這酒店是一流的,不愧是世上最美的jw Marriott, 而且到處都有很多美麗的女孩在影相,人生一定要試試！酒店的沙灘是意想不到的美麗！藍白色有點像馬爾代夫！我們拍拖紀念, 酒店第一天用毛巾摺了一對天鵝在床上, 而且有歡迎的果子贈送, 估不到第二天床上用毛巾接了一對對魚, 超級驚喜！
餐廳食品也很好吃, 但spa便一般般, 收費太貴了.

Very beautiful resort, well maintenance, we stayed for five days and didn’t leave the resort at all. We only go to nearby shops such as Wellness Spa and July Spa for massage which is within the hotel area. The hotel is exceptional and we love the Pink Pearl Restaurant where I had celebrated my husband‘a bday there. We created so much happy memories here in this beautiful place.

Die Unterkunft ist an sich ganz gut. Allerdings passt für mich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut nicht zusammen. Das Hotel kann den hohen Preis nicht rechtfertigen aus meiner Sicht.
