My stay at the Mövenpick was very pleasant, and the location turned out to be perfect. At first, I wasn’t impressed when arriving through the back entrance—it was tight, and I could barely squeeze in to reach the front desk. I even considered leaving. But Fatima at reception, with her kindness and warm smile, convinced me to stay at least one night. I ended up staying five. She is truly wonderful and so helpful.

A special thanks as well to Nigar, who assisted me with directions to the Old City and recommended excellent restaurants. She checked on me daily through WhatsApp, always offering help whenever needed.

And Ayten deserves recognition for arranging my Gobustan and mud volcano tours. She assured me I could contact her with any issue, and she meant it. When the tour driver attempted to charge more than the agreed price, I messaged her directly; she immediately resolved it through the company’s management. Their professionalism goes far beyond expectations, and I truly appreciate all they did.

We were given a smoking room when checking in with our one-year-old. Upon our request, we were moved to a non-smoking room, as the stench was unbearable. Checkout was long, even though it was 6 a.m. and there was no one else in line. The receptionist was rude and abrupt, huffing and rolling his eyes at us. I would not recommend this hotel, as there are more modern boutique options that cost less and are in far better condition.

We had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Hotel Baku! The location is perfect, and the breakfast was excellent.
Special thanks to Kenan and the entire team for their kindness and professionalism.
Also, Nigar from customer service was always helpful and attentive throughout our stay.

It was my husband’s birthday, and the hotel made it truly special — they surprised us with a delicious cake in the room, a beautiful fruit basket, and a mix of almonds, walnuts, and hazelnuts.
We always have great experiences with Mövenpick hotels, and I believe we’ll continue choosing them, insha’Allah.

It was a wonderful experience. Baku is a safe, traveler-friendly, culturally rich city with magnificent architecture and great cuisine. We preferred to stay in Mövenpick Winter Park Hotel which is located 10min walk from the heart of the city called Nizami District. Our deluxe edition penthouse hotel room was clean, neat, peaceful with the best city view. Definitely the best value for price hotel compared to the other similar class ones around the district. We stayed at the highest floor but still heard heavy honking noise from the street especially in the mornings. I’d like to thank especially the friendly Receptionist Mrs. Fatima and Customer Relations Manager Mrs. Nigar Rzayeva-Fomicheva for their high-level hospitality during our 5 days stay in the hotel. I’ll definitely plan to visit and stay there again.

It was my first time in Baku, and upon my arrival to my room, there was a nice surprise of a bday cake and message, which was so thoughtful! This hotel really is the best location to all the attractions and must visit. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the staff really did attend to all our needs and requirements. The breakfast was good and overall I had a lovely experience in this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Tip: There are 2 entrances in this hotel, and if your looking to venture further out of the city where you need a taxi then make sure you book your taxi using the back entrance with the location point to 161 Dilara Aliyeva so they can pick you up easily as the front entrance has cameras and is on the main road and it can get difficult for them to collect you from there.

I had a really great experience at Movenpick winter Park hotel. Everything from the room to the services was excellent. The staff were super helpful—especially Rakan and Russle. They genuinely cared and didn’t spare any effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Thanks to them, everything went smoothly, and I truly felt welcomed. This place will definitely be my first choice next time I’m in town. Highly recommended!

This property was good. Close to best shopping and attractions. Very good restaurants in neighborhood.

Management needs improvement. No hot water for a whole day and no communication on why or how to handle things. Also, they need to fix their heaters, November can be cold in Baku.

All in all good stay.

I feel sorry for the Winter Park Hotel. It used to be nice.
It was my first choice whenever I was traveling to Baku.
Old towels, not well maintained building, the staff could be better.
Overall, wasn’t the best experience ( compared to my previous experiences)

Great hotel in a perfect location. Big rooms, great view (from our side you could see Flame Towers), in a walking distance to the City Center, old ciry. The winter park just across the street also has many Dining options. Nice ans friendly stuff. very comfortable bed.

Breakfast was OK. no more no less (but great view from the 15 floor).
Only down side - our shower has no place to put the Shampoo and Conditioner without it falling.

This hotel is from what I can gather from the sign on the roof linked to the Möwenpick chain. The rooms are big, beds so comfortable and the bathrooms spotless with all the bits and bobs you expect. The breakfast choice is extensive and goes on til 11, 11:30 at the weekends. The staff are wonderfully helpful and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. There is only one criticism, but I think it’s important to raise it. The hotel has lovely carpets throughout but the hotel must invest in a really good carpet cleaning machine. It seems that people have been throwing tea and coffee around the corridors and in my room there was what seemed like a red wine stain. The cleaning staff obviously tried to clean it up at the time but the stains persist. My plea to the management is please do something about the carpet stains. In every other respect the hotel is excellent. I really enjoyed my stay, but future reviewers might not be so kind.

In the beginning, they gave me a room with poor air conditioning, and after an argument, the room was changed. The lobby does not have a cafeteria, as the lobby is under maintenance. In general, the stay was good, and the hotel is good, close to Nizami Street, 10 minutes on foot.

amazing hospitality, excellent location

One of the best hotel experiences for a family trip. Everything was perfect. We booked a quadruple room for a family of 4, it was as good as a 2 Br suite. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen amazing .Located 5 mins away from Nizami street, location cudnt get better .It was in a quite peaceful area away from the marketplace noise yet very close to it within walking distance. Breakfast buffet was vast and in a very pleasant scenic area of hotel, though the menu was repetitive mostly.
Special mention to guest coordinator Nigar , she was very attentive to our needs and prompt in responding . She gave us all information that we needed and arranged a luxury van for us to travel to Gabala at a very reasonable price at a very short notice ,maybe within an hour or so. I wish all hotels have such kind and thoughtful staff. Overall i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone , it might be a bit pricey compared to neighboring properties but totally worth the price

we had great stay at this hotel for 6 nights . to being with very good location if you are considering visiting NIZAMI street often , from hotels back door , its just 3-4 mnts walking distant .
Room is very spacious , if you get FUZULI park facing ,then you will have very good view . inside rooms all amenities are very well designed and top quality finishing . Breakfast is lavish and just superb and on top floor having amazing city view . gym is top quality and excellent , very large having all equipments to do cardio as well weight training for entire body . they just miss in between 5 and 10 kg plates , which they should procure . Staff was very polite and cooperative . whatever items ordered irrespective of time , used to get almost immediate .Pvt taxi are always outside the hotel waiting so easy to commute . Over all very good experience , must stay if you want to stay at this location and in this budget .

Rooms were clean, modern and of a very good size for value. Breakfast on top 15th floor was excellent with good view of city. Staff all very friendly and professional. Lobby bar and reception area was basic but fine. Location excellent but a 5 min walk down side streets to Fountain Square and reasonably close to old city. Stayed there for F1 Race and hotel was very accessible given huge road closures due to race.

THE GOOD: The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious. The views of the city are amazing. The food was very good.
THE BAD: Housekeeping neglected to clean our room two times after we had left early. The bidet spray in the bathroom did not work well. Breakfast is not included. There are a lot of male Arab visitors that can be loud at night and for some reason leave the fire stairwell door open.

Everything was perfect starting from check in staff girls and boys all were giving excellent assistance with a smile,house keeping did perfect cleaning ith good appearance, room was upgraded to a deluxe room very spacious and comfortable bed.
I really recommend this hotel for all visitors to baku as it is very close tothe center(Nezami street)where u find many restaurants and cafe and shopping near by.

Location of the hotel is splendid, in walking distance of everything you want to see in Baku. It's a large modern hotel with friendly staff (whose English is good, not great, but a lot better than my Azerbajan!)

Rooms are spacious, modern & clean.

Best of al is the rooftop resto/bar, where you can get excellent views of the town at night, including the thrilling trio of Flame Towers!

I stayed in 2 different Hiltons and also a holiday inn and this was my best experience.The hotel is a little off the tourist area and my one complaint was that there was not an ATM in the hotel.Otherwise great hotel

The location is great.Rooms are quite large and nice and the breakfast was good.The reception staff especially on late time needs a great improvement.Although I let them know that we’ll come in late time and I was assured that they aware to that,when we arrived to the hotel nothing was prepared.We had to wait for receiving our rooms almost one hour!.
In another occasion when I asked for an assistance couldn’t get it even he knew from me that I have an urgent problem.
The staff at the restaurant needs to be less slowly as they are and it will be nice if they will pay more attention to the guests.
