Everything at the courtyard by marriott wonderful. The staff were kind and helpful, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, the cleanliness was excellent, and the location is very convenient and close to everything. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again every time I visit Azerbaijan.

I had a great stay but am displeased with the lack of refund for 5 night stay as promised by the manager . Sadly I had to check out early as the aim of travelling to Baku was not achieved. I am from Canada. This is the best hotel we stayed in south Caucasus countries even though other hotels we stayed are all 5-star hotel while this is a 4-star hotel. But this hotel beats other two 5-star hotels we stayed in South Caucasus, Bugattis, Romania and Moldova. I would think this 4-star hotel aligns with 4-star hotel standard in Canada.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it due to several issues we experienced.
We paid extra for a premium room but did not receive the promised amenities. The city view from our room was also extremely disappointing.
The service throughout our stay was consistently terrible. Upon check-in, no one assisted us with our bags, and I had to move the luggage cart myself. The staff, in general, were very unfriendly. For example, a server at the bar seemed annoyed when I inquired about decaf coffee. Additionally, our room was not cleaned until 5 or 6 PM each day, despite us leaving the room by 11 AM.
Finally, we arranged for a taxi to the airport through the hotel and paid double the standard price to ensure a convenient pickup, especially since we had three heavy, 25 kg suitcases. However, the taxi did not arrive at the front of the hotel. We were forced to walk an additional 10 minutes behind the hotel with our heavy luggage, and no one offered a cart or assistance.

Excellent staff and decent room - a little bit on the small side but perfectly adequate. The only negative thing to say is that the fire alarm on the ceiling was constantly flashing every 20 seconds, incredibly brightly, which made it difficult to fall asleep once you noticed it in the dark.

What was really bad, is the water pressure situation - the pressure at the shower was always week. Moreover, during showering, the pressure would go down even further\the water would disappear completely for a short while, and then it came back. Taking a shower was a bummer. I complained about it several times to the reception staff, but the issue wasn't solved, and I was offered no alternative. This is very bad in my opinion and should be addressed. Not being able to take a normal shower after a long day\visit to the gym is unacceptable for this level of a hotel.

A great hotel in a great location. Whenever I come to Baku I usually stay here. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Other strong points are the bar/ restaurant, fitness center, and the 24-hour room service. Definitely, so room service one morning and order the Azerbaijani breakfast with tea. The views are also good looking out onto either Winter Park or the picturesque and historic Kubinka neighborhood, which I hear might unfortunately be demolished.
The only negative thing I have to say is that the showers are designed oddly with one side completely open. If you’re not careful you can accidentally flood the bathroom, so ask for extra towels on your first night in case you get water all over the floor.

Nice clean room consistent with Courtyard standard
The hotel was nice, clean, and the employees friendly and efficient. The room was good, but basic. Online by including breakfast added 50% to the room, but half that amount if you paid locally rather than the online price. The food was good though. Rather than a paper menu for dinner, you have to scan the QR code to see. OK to do, but I don't like it personally.

We had a great stay in Baku. The location was great, close to pretty much everything in Baku. Hotel was super clean and loved the room, very bright, and modern.
Hotel staff were really helpful. One thing that was a bit add was that we asked for an extra blanket, initially they refused to provide it but eventually they did. Never understood why as almost any hotel we have stayed there is always extra blanket in the room.

Perfect for a short stay in Baku
The hotel was in a perfect location to explore Baku city by foot. Tourist areas were no more than 15mins walk away. Rooms were very big, clean and extremely comfortable.

An excellent example of what a hotel shoud be. New, well-designed and comfortable, it demonstartes the wisdom of choosing a hotel from a successful international chain, especially in a country where \"service\" is often Soviet-style, few people speak English (even in the service sector) and 'backsheesh\" is often demanded. Full marks to the staff: smart, efficient, friendly and English-speaking. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Underwhelmed. Still couldn't believe this belongs to a Marriott chain as the service was below average on a number of occacions
1. A big 4 star hotel that doesn't have anyone to take your luggage down from the room after checkout... and if they do they will consider it as doing you a favor

My wife was tired and couldn't have breakfast in the restaurant so I asked if I can have someone bring up food to her. They told me I have to do it myself as there is no one available to send up the food to her!

I asked one of the waiters during breakfast time for bottles of water to take my room as we were leaving. He wanted to charge them on to me. Then when I asked how come if I get complimentary water to the room everyday he said then you need to ask the room service for them!
A technical comment (I doubt Management would understand it but no harm in mentioning it)
The superior room during booking mentions it can take up to 2 adults and 2 children. How come one king size bed can accommodate them all? If this is the case then they should not charge for an extra bed, or at least the room should have a couch, or finally simply at least just mention can take up to 2 adults. That I consider as misinformation.
If they are that understaffed, I recommend to close this hotel branch until further notice!

Good hotel, however there was no concierge service or valet parking, I have booked for 2 adults and 3 kids so they charge for it extra but they refused to provide roller bed for the smallest kid , windows or balcony can’t be opened, based on my experience with this brand internationally it’s lower than the expected

I was fascinated by the hotel's architecture which influenced my booking. It was interesting to learn that it is a newly built hotel but with an old architectural design.
The interior is pretty modern compared to the outside. The facilities were great, clean and staff were really helpful( expecially Lala).
Breakfast had various selections to choose from.
Lastly, the best part is the price. I think it is pretty affordable for the location and facilities.

Fantastic location, within walking distance to many main attractions in Downtown Baku. Rooms are clean, service is good, but the view on north side is not that great. You can get bigger rooms with better views in other hotels for the same price. Food is unreasonably pricy, and breakfast buffet doesn't offer a lot of variety. But there are quite a few great eateries and restaurants nearby.
