I would like to confirm that my stay in this property was excellent. All staff, starting from check in to check out presented very professionally. The GM of the property was also visible and understand the hotel industry. Although i am very frequent visitor of Baku and stay in different hotels but i wish to stay again at this property.

Absolutely not recommended!

I made a reservation through the hotel’s app, but what I found was a total disappointment. The room looked nothing like the photos. No desk, poor cleanliness. The bathroom smelled awful, and the wardrobe had such a bad odor it transferred to my clothes. The window couldn’t be opened due to constantly running, noisy machines outside. I could only sleep thanks to my earplugs.

Huge security issue.
Despite locking my door, someone (possibly staff) entered my room with another card and left without explanation. This is unacceptable! Do not leave your valuables in the room.

I asked for an iron twice at the reception — it was never delivered. The shower cabin was broken, water spilled everywhere. Soundproofing is nonexistent. You hear everything from the hallway and next room. Early morning, cleaning staff shouted and made rest impossible.

The worst part: they asked 80 AZN for my friend just to accompany me to the room — not even staying! They seem to judge pricing based on how you look.

I'll start with the good things about the hotel, in terms of location, the location is excellent and accessible and closest to Nizami Street for all the shops, the old city everything is within walking distance, the employees at the reception were nice and smiling.
‏But regarding the hotel's shortcomings - first of all, the rooms are not ventilated, there is no window, the carpet in the room was full of dirt and there were parts of the carpet with smelly mold on it, the shower is not clean, full of scale, the closet in the shower cannot be put anything in it because it was dirty and wet... and the \"cleaning\" of the room only started at 4-5 pm and even later and it is important for me to note that there was no actual cleaning, only that they changed towels and the bag in the trash can and made the bed!! A bad experience all day. My husband and I started itching all over our bodies from the shampoos they but in there, and because they don’t change bed covers. So if you don’t have enough money and you don’t care about clean room and good smells choose otherwise it’s really horrible .

Hotel located right in the central city, walkable distance to everything shopping dining, 5-10 min walk to Old city. We stayed in October and the AC wasn't working, per hotel staff they switched to a winter mode and 23.5 C is the lowest temperature you can set, so be ready to sweat while you are in the room. Our shower was missing a Glass door, so every time you use it, our bathroom would turn into a pool area, be ready to wipe the floors every time you use a shower.
Keep in mind that the location of this hotel it is not accessible to taxis or any other vehicles. The hotel does offer bellboy service with a prior phone call request. They bellboy will come out and meet you at a nearest parking lot which about 80m away.

Lovely hotel right off Nizami street

The hotel was extremely well located right on Nizami street which is what we wanted for this leg of our trip. There was a little noise from the street at night but we knew about this before booking and wanted to be right at the heart of things before we flew back home. The shower would run hot then extremely cold which was the only minus about the hotel!

Good but can be better.

Air conditioning is turned to heating-only mode in October which requires opening the windows and that makes too street-noisy. Heaters are always on in the whole hotel hallways and if u turn it off in ur room they turn it back on. Bathroom smells and needs maintenance.

Best Central Hotel and staff in Baki!

So this was our 4th trip to baki. Having stayed at the top hotels in Baku, very last min we decided to check into Theatrum which is in the heart of Nizami street. U get out and it's restaurants and full of life. Rooms are good but make sure to go for the deluxe rooms. They hv a lovely restaurant right below. Their lobby and coffee shop area is gorgeous. Now the best part the staff / team - Front office manager Mr. Azer Mirzaliev who took care of us like we were VIPs. He was the most amazing manager we hv ever come across. Was helpful throughout and ensured we hd all the comfort during our stay right upto wen we were leaving. A smiling face always leave a mark on our minds n he is one of those. Another one on the list is Right, Gulnoor, Elnara, and the most outstanding security person who is always standing ensuring we are all safe. Thank you for the bful experience. Rest assured we r def coMing back to stay at this property just bcz of this wonderful team. Keep up the great work Azer as you are leading by example!

Otelde 3 oda ayırdık, bir odanın bütün duvarı küf içerisindeydi ve o odada kalan arkadaşlarımız durumu söylendiğinde ilk başta ilgilenmediler geceyi geçirdiler, sonra oda değişikliği istendiğinde teknik ekip odaya gelip gördüğünde durumu acil olarak değerlendirdi ve oda değişikliği yapıldı. Diğer odanın kapısı bozuktu, kartla değil anahtarla açılıyordu, kapı kolu da sürekli arkadaşın elinde kaldı. Hatta odasının kapısını açık bulduğu gün oldu neyse ki çalınan eşyası olmamıştı. Temizlik kötüydü, sabun ve tuvalet kağıdı karmaşası vardı otelde, sürekli sabun alınıp yerine yenisi koyulmuyordu, tuvalet kağıdı istediğimizde sürekli hatırlatmamız gerekti. Eşimle benim kaldığımız odanın kliması kapanmıyordu, ekibe söyledik ilgilenmediler, ısrar sonrası ilgilendiklerinde hallettik dediler ama yine kapanmıyordu. Kahvaltıdaki servis yavaşlığı inanılmazdı, omletler 40 dakikada falan geldi ilk 2 gün ve açıklama olarak eleman yok dediler. Oteldeki rezervasyon sayısı belliyken personel nasıl ayarlanmadı.
Kısacası tek iyi yanı otelin konumuydu, çoğu yere yürüme mesafesindeydi ama biraz daha uzakta kalıp bu karmaşaları yaşamamayı tercih ederdik.

Kız arkadaşımla güvenilir şekilde kaldığımız bir oteldi.Odalar oldukça temiz,personeller güler yüzlü,kahvaltısı yeterli şekilde güzeldi.Yalnız tek problemi odamızda cam vardı hiçbir şekilde açılmıyordu havalandırmak istesek ya da nefes almak istesek açabileceğimiz bir pencere bile yoktu.Nizami caddesinin zaten tam ortasında otelin altında publar var.Bir daha gelsem tercih ederim ancak pencere olup olmadığını mutlaka sorup teyitleşirim.

Très bien situe à proximité de la vieille ville mais dans la zone piétonne, parfait pour visiter à pied ou prendre le métro qui est à proximité. Le staff vous aidera ou pourra vous conseiller utilement. La chambre était spacieuse et calme et la SdB fonctionnelle. Le Pdj de type continental était varié et chacun peut trouver son bonheur. Le wifi était sans reproche. Sans aucun doute je reviendrais.

I already wrote a recension about first week of my stay. Last portion of my impressions. Don't think to buy anything in the hotel!!! Last day I only asked where one can buy caviar in the city I mean title of shop, adress. They immediately told me they have certain contacts in supermarkets and can organise delivery of caviar in one hour directly to the hotel. I paid them in euros but in the evening they surprisingly told my order is cancelled but my refund goes in local currency as they changed euros in azerbaijan manats. Why? My aim wasn' t eIlxchange. I insisted that I want return euros as I gave them because obviously exchange rate was against me. Next day after many quarrels they finally gave my euros from the safebox which vere absolutely the same banknotes which I gave the previous day. So they haven' t changed them in the bank offfice as they told... can't believe that the goal is only to take some cash on rates difference. But afraid it is. Strange final episode and miserable behaviour
Of course they remain nice smiling persons and hotel's location is fantastic

Strange experience with fantastic location

Well fantastic place but they are so negligent!!! Firstly I payed for a week but I liked the location and decided to add other four days. The result is the whole first week I was sitting in plumbing issues as there was leaked pipe under the sink EVERY DAY!!!moreover bad smell out of tubes in bathroom. Chambermaids told all the room in the hotel have absolutely equal problematic state. They promised to solve it every day, I called them at night a I arrived and saw that water goes on the floor and my feet all the same and they fixed nothing. I quarreled as in similar situations in other hotels and cities they made a discount for inconveniences. Here no they were steady that they can offer only €20 for 11 days. Absurd! Every other day they forgot to change towels or tomorrow they give 10 bottles of water and 10 towels. All in all chaotic style of housekeeping that was my problem for the entire sojourn in Baku.
But they are really very nice and sympatic laughing guys on the reception. The lobby is good, breakfasts also. But l regreted my extra four days here. I wanted to take money back for remaining two/vhree days and change hotel. Surprisingly impossible.

Небольшой отель в самом центре - пару минут пешком до площади фонтанов и минут 5 до старого города. Расположен у сквера на тихой пешеходной улице. Номеров немного - поэтому в отеле тихо и спокойно. Номер хорошо отремонтирован, хороший интернет, чайник с чаем и кофе, бутилированная вода каждый день. Халаты, тапочки. Телевизор с множеством каналов. Санузел хороший. Завтраки отличные. Заселение очень быстрое.
