I'm not the type person to complain but...
I booked a 1 night stay for my girlfriend and I for her birthday had it all planed out got the key took her to dinner we went back the room played some board games then it was time to sleep she pull back the covers and there it was public hair on the sheet we went to the desk and talked to the staff the ladies wasnice and understanding offered a new room but it was gross so I'm like how do I know that the other sheets were changed so asked her if we could just leave and get a refund she said I will personally talk to the manager cause that is gross was apologizing for awhile we leave my girlfriend calls the next day and there respons was you were there to long for us to give you a refund and house keeping check it was only a few stray hairs then she hung up on my girlfriend if the manager gets this they may want to give me a call

The door to our room had been broken. We had to swipe our key literally 50 times every time to get in. Staff was rude when a new key was requested due to the key issue. There were balls of hair on the floor in the pool room and all through the pool. The hot tub was not marked broken but the water temp was at 65 degrees. Coffee in the lobby was cold. The arcade games would take the credits but not work with no resolution from staff as the machines are from a \"third party\". It's really such a shame as my family and I have been going here for years on spring break. We will have to try somewhere new next year unfortunately.

Samedi à 8h30 il n'y avait plus d'œufs, de saucisse et de muffins. Ils ont rempli le comptoir vers 9hrs seulement.
À la piscine vendredi il y avait une grosse couette de cheveux près de la piscine et samedi soir elle y était encore. Les 2 jours nous avons dû demander des serviettes pour la piscine car ils n'y en avaient plus.
À notre arrivé le vendredi notre carte magnétique ne fonctionnait pas. Le samedi nous avons dû aussi aller la faire changer car elle ne fonctionnait plus.

Staff refused that I pay a premium to take the room earlier than 3:00 PM saying there was a lot of cleaning to do, however when I did take the room at 3:00 PM, the room had dust all over the furniture. Someone knocked on the door of the room with hard fists in the evening.

The front desk staff was excellent. Very nice ladies. There was women’s hair all over my bathtub and no hot water. I tried to shower on arrival day and the next day and nothing but cold water. The water pressure in the shower was also horrible. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the last 3 years and the quality of the rooms and beds has drastically gone down

The property itself did need some updating as the carpets and furniture had a musty smell to them due to age. The pillows and bed linen did not smell fresh either. This is the reason I can only give an average rating.

Close to shopping and restaurants. Room was clean except for under the beds. Pillows were not that good. Check in was easy. No one there for check out. View from room was top of the pool roof. Hallways were clean. Common area/game room was nice. Did not use pool but looked nice. Would stay again.

Staff was very accommodating. But the conditions of the room not all that great my door locked looked like someone had previously tried to break in door had scratches. I felt a bit unsafe staying the night there it was cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. Would I stay again probably not. But appreciates the family room it was convenient and helpful it was in the hotel itself

There was an extra charge on my credit card that I was unaware of when checking in or checking out. I’ve tried to reach out for an explanation and have not heard from the hotel.

The bathroom had pee on the toilet and hairs in the shower. You could hear the elevators movement in the room and the door to the elevator sounded like screeching metal. This was distracting throughout the night.

When I got to the hotel and got our room it had trash all over it and when I got a new room the door was broken and the key barely worked! But the worst was when they closed the hotel down and made everyone leave, I still had one more night there and they said Expedia will refund me for that night and have not been refunded yet it’s been over a week!

The bathroom was not clean. There was dried urine all over the back of the toilet seat and hair in the shower. The breakfast area was dirty. The floor was sticky and the counters were filthy. There wasn’t a single employee around to tell that the juice machine was out. The pool area was equally dirty and there weren’t any clean towels. Very disappointed and will not be staying here in the future.

Arrived at 4pm. There was a note at the desk \"had to leave back in 5 minutes\" 15 minutes later a girl showed up with food she had got from somewhere. She apologized and talked to someone one in the room just behind the desk who had obviously been there the whole time we were waiting. The point of trip was to take my kids swimming during a cold winter. Heater was turned off in the pool, pool was 65 degrees, unable to be swam in. At first they played stupid about the temperature. After annoying them enough they had a guy check the pool who said \"yeah its 65, but the heater is at 72, it should be warm soon\" Really? A huge pool in a 65 degree heated room with 65 degree water will be heated \"in a few minutes\". So swimming was not available. The next morning i brought my daughter down for breakfast at 7:30. There was 1 guest eating and no hot food left. Woman running the thing said give me 10 minutes and i'll get some food out. The vending machines were out of order and when we went to leave the sliding door wouldn't open. The woman at the desk just looked at us and said, \"yeah the sliding door gets stuck, you need to slide it open by hand.\" The room was nice enough and clean but the accommodations and customer service of these people is absolutely horrible. I would encourage anyone thinking of staying here to stay at any one of the other hotels nearby.

The room was quiet and clean, and they had a basic breakfast. However, they seem to have staffing problems - when I checked in, they handed me a set of towels to carry up with me to my room even though I had checked in after 4 pm and the room should have been ready. Early next morning, the housekeeping staff knocked on my door to do the room!

My room was good, beds were comfortable. The check in was good.
I didn't care for the pool, it needs desperately needs TLC, the floor looked dirty and the hot tub water wasn't clear. One of the main reasons why I booked at this hotel.
The breakfast was disappointing, the eggs were mushy and the bacon uncooked.

The room was pretty worn out, the carpet and the seats were stained and had some pretty bad burn marks from a hot iron, the included Krueg didn't work, the bed was very stiff and uncomfortable, the elevator stopped working and the roof over the indoor pool was leaking into it. The staff seemed friendly other than that.

The room was clean. Gym didn’t have everything it shows in photos. Only has a treadmill, 2 bikes, and an elliptical that was broken. Also had some dumbbells and a bench. Pool and hot tub were as advertised. Main reason for the 3 stars is the worker at front desk had over 10 people in line when we arrived just before check in time and completely ignored all of us until 3pm. Then when we finally got to the room our key wouldn’t open the door. Took 2 more trips down to the front desk and over an hour to get into our room. And it wasn’t just us with the issue, every single person who checked in were also locked out of their room. Our entire floor was full of people with all their luggage in the hallways unable to get into their rooms. Was very frustrating but we still managed to have a good time.

Overall cleanliness of the hotel is definitely on the lacking side. Doorways were quite dirty and the elevator was awful. Carpet in the hallway on floor two was dirty and bunching up in spots, most likely from poor installation many years ago. Wall paper in hallways and in room 247 were pealing at the seams. Lighting in the rooms was quite dull and the amount of dust on the tv stand/ refrigerator area was is bit disappointing as this showed it hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. Room wasn’t serviced for an entire weekend and had to go to front desk for toilet paper as that was almost completely gone when checked in. A much different stay than two years ago when staying a weekend for kids hockey tournament.

Great value for the price. I was a little hesitant after seeing the mixed reviews but I’m glad I took a chance. The room and sheets were very clean. You can definitely tell it’s an old Holiday Inn but that’s not a bad thing. The bathroom was on the small side but the room itself was a good size. Great location near stores and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

The only detraction was my room's heating unit. I expected the fan would shut off when on auto but it didn't. It was ok because it kept the room very warm.

The Pool/Hot Tub area was absolutely disgusting with the Hot Tub bring the worst. The pool room has a massive backed up sewer odor that I immediately brought to the Front Desk Clerk within minutes after my Granddaughters and I entered the Hot Tub. Front Desk Clerk said she would have Maintenance check it out. We left the area where I ended up spending an $120 at the Arcade to make up for the girls not being able to enjoy the pool/hot tub amenities for which our reason for booking. A couple of hours or so later I returned to the Front Desk to inquire on the status of the pool/hot tub area. I was told the Maintenance will be checking it out tomorrow. I explained to her that it was an overnight stay so tomorrow doesn't do anything for us.. I called HOTELS.COM where a wonderful Customer Service Rep contacted the Days Inn/Plattsburgh with the attempt to secure a resolution for me. By this time it's dark, the weather report was calling for a major ice storm. I wasn't driving approximately 30 Miles with my Grandchildren in the car on dangerous roads. (Countless News Reports will validate.) The Customer Service Rep informed me that the young Front Desk Clerk told him she had no authority to negotiate a refund, etc. That being said we both agreed I would have to speak to a Manager in the AM. I did and she didn't care. Wyndam Corp has been directly contacted. Stained sheets! Marijuana odor! Never again!

Upon arrival, we got a that room had an opening at the top of the door and it wouldn’t lock. We changed rooms, and slept one night. The following morning, we woke up to find bugs on the floor in the second room they gave us. We then requested at the front desk for our room to be fully cleaned because of the bugs. When we returned to the hotel that night, nothing had been cleaned. No new towels, no toilet paper, no beds fixed up. Overall, the hotel is good, and has free breakfast, game room, pool with hot tub and a gym, but a good hotel could be great if only the hotel is well maintained and staff do their jobs better.

Where to start… building needs repair and update. Our door to our room didn’t close properly, door needs to be rehung everything worn, chipped and stained. Walls are very thin. Most importantly my issue comes with the front desk upon check out. They charged us again for the stay after I prepaid with hotels.com, she basically said I needed to take it up with the online forum because they received no monies from the third party. It has been a hassle dealing with the third party who states the hotel would Not respond back to them..yes I finally got a resolution but it was painful!!! Never again would I stay there.

Have stayed her many times, but this visit was a bit disappointing. First off, the person who checked us in had no personality at all, and appeared to not want to be there. We were given what appeared to be a handicapped room on the 1st floor, which was spacious and bathroom was huge... but, our room key never worked, so we had to go back to front desk over the two days each time we came back to the hotel. And, our door didn't go to the top casing; therefore, with a gap at the top, hallway noise and arcade noise was very loud.

Might try a different hotel in the area next time.

I als found 3 bugs on the ceiling I went back down to lobby he told me the room was not supposed to be used He gave me another room that was fine. It was just annoying that they put me in the room in the first place and I had to move all my luggage Poor management
