Staff were friendly and helpful.
MARY
We stayed in this hotel during AirVenture which is their busiest time of the year. The hotel was booked full all week long. The staff were definitely ready for the big week. They were friendly and helpful. We needed to eat an early breakfast one morning. We asked the day prior and they were ready for us when we came down 30 minutes early. Also, the bed was the most comfortable mattress we have had in a hotel, ever.

good: breakfast was plentiful and full. staff were very friendly. everything was honestly fine except...
bad: everything had a film of grime on it, pretty dirty unfortunately. maybe I wouldn't have minded if I didn't have my toddler around but even the chairs in the breakfast area were covered in grime. was it butter? I don't know.

Every time we come to Ripon WI we stay in this hotel. The breakfast is decent and it’s always clean. Why would we stay anywhere else
Cesar
Great breakfast selection! Nice, clean environment.
Dion
This is our go to hotel when we come to Wisconsin. It’s affordable and very comfortable. My son goes to school in Ripon, so this is our happy medium between Ripon and Milwaukee
Sharon
I didnt like the shower. The water was either cold or hot. I couldnt find the inbetween
Terry
One of our lights between the beds does not work. Debbie (the only person working here tonight), was so kind and tried her best to help. She even brought a different bulb up to our room and was able to put it in (though quite difficult). The switch is apparently broken.
Candace
The whole atmosphere when you first walk in. The cleanness was noticeable and the staff friendliness was great. Olivia checked us in and was great at communicating all the details we needed. High five to Olivia
Plus the rooms where relaxing and clean.

Al
Property was clean and staff was friendly
Seth
Very nice property. Large rooms that sleep 6 guests, which were great. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety. Beds are firm, but we slept surprisingly comfortably on them.
Only negative is that they issue you an off putting warning letter about guest conduct upon checking, and then they have multiple warning signs around the facility stating “Don’t do XYZ”. They’re all written in a scolding manner and do not have a hospitality tone to them. Very bizarre.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly front desk attendant who made the check-in a quick and easy experience!!
The hotel was clean and well maintained inside and out!! Convenient parking locations were available on three sides of the hotel allowing for convenient access!!
Upon arriving to the room, I found it arranged well with a small food/coffee prep area separated from the room

Overall good value for the cost

We stayed here back to back weekends for two sporting tournaments. It is a newer, extremely clean facility. Quiet. Easy to get to right off the highway. Breakfast was great! The pool is quite small, but better than nothing.
Kurt
The hotel was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed a great check in process and the attendant at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Our room was delightful. Breakfast was amazing. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Overall, the stay was great, unfortunately the heater did not work in our room and was beyond noisy and nobody got any sleep. It was loud, 90° and the heat would not shut off. 4 kids on no sleep sucks.
Rodney
Nice and clean inside and outside.
Erin

Madonna
Great stay
Very clean and comfortable with good \"hang out space\" for spending time with friends.

We had to switch rooms twice in the first night. The first room had a terrible musty smell since there was no ventalation. The second had dead insects on the bed and the window was full of even more dead insects and live mosquitos in the curtains. The third room that we ended up stuck in, had a wet rug from the hvac dripping down the wall and what looked like black mold due to the moisture and lack of air flow. We spoke with the hotel owner, Mr. Sony, the 2nd day and he first offered/showed us a 4th room that was clean and told us to figure out the refund with expedia for the remaining nights since we were not comfortable staying there. Then once we confirmed with Expedia, he took back the offer telling us he had booked the room already (it had been 20 minutes, if that) and since we were dealing with Expedia now he couldnt help us anymore and he had tried everything to make us happy already. Overall, the hotel was dirty and potentially hazardous to our health, and the owner lied straight to our faces. Terrible experience.
Taylor
The breakfast had nice portions and the staff were helpful

Was a nice stay, besides rhe chocolate milk was expired, my son got sick on the way home. Otherwise a good stay
Amy
Overall great but not quiet. I knew the people that were staying directly above me and I could hear their coffee percolator in the morning. This surprised me for a newer hotel.
Tam
The person that checked us in was super nice and friendly.

Great stay
Beautiful room, love the lighting. The elevator sounded scary tho lol but over all I loved my stay.
Ronald
Quiet and close parking
Robin
I was disappointed when i tried to check in. No one was at the desk, there was no bell to ring to get service, and i waited a few minutes. When no one showed up, i went outside and waited in my car for about 15 minutes. When i went back in, there was still no one there. I decided to call the hotel from inside the lobby, and as i dialed, someone came to check me in.
I liked the clean, new rooms, and the hot beeakfast. I enjoyed one evening hanging out in the pool.
I will give them another try!

Pretty good. Our tub didn’t drain properly. Also, carpet in general areas is need of replacement.

Can't go wrong with Holiday Inn. The only issue is with the room we were staying in had some outlets not working, including the USB ones (i.e. it is very loose when you try plugging into them)
Wendy
I wish there would have been napkins or utensils to use after the breakfast for delivery meals since there was no restaurant on premises. Wish there would have been a hot top. otherwise it was comfortable.
Judy
Awesome weekend
The staff was very nice and pleasant. Our room was so amazing. So big and just beautiful. The hotel was so quiet. The breakfast was so good and so much to choice from. Very clean.
Dennis
very nice

Very new. So nice and clean. The parking is kinda strange. There are no spots in front so you have to park on the side of the building then walk around front when checking it.
The staff was nice when checking in.

We're in our sixties. Checked in for two rooms one for us and the other for our daughter and her family. Children 18 months and 7. Clerk said the kids couldn't stay in a room by themselves? Then had me sign a document stating I understood quiet time is after 10 pm. There were kids sports teams staying there. I don't think we were the problem. They had soda for sale at front desk and milk in the breakfast area but wouldn't sell us a small cartoon of milk for the 18 mo old. Just a very unprofessional staff.
matthew
staff was great, when we walked into the room it was 80degrees, we had tried to turn the air on to cool it down a little but it was not working properly, it would run for 5mins then squeal and turn off an on. by morning we were able to get it down to 73,. rough night sleep was just to warm.
Michelle
Everything was as expected. A lot of things were empty for breakfast but other than that it was a fun place to stay
Amy
Great breakfast. Was hoping to use the gym but didn't have time. Really appreciate the option.
James
Hotel was modern, clean, easily accessible, and the free breakfast was better than most. A great place to stop and sleep on a long journey north.
Verified traveler
The beds were terribly uncomfortable but the breakfast was pretty good. The hotel had overly strict rules and my boys (14 & 15) were chased down in the parking lot to be sure an adult was waiting for them in the lobby. I have really good kids and we would have been fined if they went to the lobby alone to make a hot chocolate. Overall, our stay was fine, we just didn't sleep well due to the hard beds.
Aric
Appeared to be new hotel and was clean.
Margit
Staff was very nice. The sink in the bathroom had a problem. Floor wasn’t clean.

The internet did not work. Called the front desk about seven times and there was no answer Went down to front desk and waited several minutes with no one showing up. I never got WiFi working for entire stay. The main reason we selected HIE was WiFi was available con room. Breakfast was good.
NICHOLAS
Pool area was very noisy

Very clean, modern, best hotel breakfast ever!

The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet and the staff went out of its way to be accommodating. We were very pleased.

It's a very nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay in the sold out hotel.
Peter
Happy with hotel
There was barely enough parking. Overall very happy with the experience. Will stay there again.
Gerardo
Very clean
James
No towels in pool area even though they have sign about them and say not to use room towels. Towels were not there for 2 of 3 days. Ran out of toilet paper and lady at desk said someone would bring some up. Had to go out and by my own. Line to check in was consistenly long yet I observed front desk person stand outside smoking for 10 minutes while line continued to grow inside.

Stay was what was expected
Richard
Only complaint was the facility had only 1 luggage cart. Staff did everything they could to locate it for us, but wasn't able to. Extremely apologetic offered a solution that was above and beyond. Will look forward to another stay.

Amazing! Most rooms were booked so we did a king suite on the 4th floor. It was like an apartment ...huge! Another couple could have stayed on the sleeper sofa in the living room and had their own privacy. Bathroom had 2 sinks on a long counter in its own room. Had a kitchen with sink & appliances. Several closets, lots of furniture. All comfy, clean and very quiet. Ate hot served breakfast on the patio (no bag meal) indoor pool was chilly but open til 11pm. Very nice staff. Nice area

A great option on FDL
So,.this hotel is great. This was my second 5 night stay in a month. I want to make sure I start with that. It's extremely clean, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are nice, the staff is extremely friendly etc. An excellent hotel..my only issue was for some reason had maintenance banging loudly on my door and trying to enter the room in the middle of the day. They actually entered the room. Thing is, I was sleeping because I was working night shifts and needed my sleep. And when I say they banged loudly I mean LOUDLY. woke me from a deep sleep and scared the hell out of me. Worse that they didn't wait for a response and entered the room. (Left immediately when seeing I was just getting out of bed) But... I never called them. I came to find out later after I went down to the front desk that they were there to fix an LED light that the previous occupant had requested. I had no idea about it and I had already been there for two days so they could have maybe taken care of it before my arrival? Or at least checked with management that the people who requested the repair was still staying there? Obviously this isn't a typical hotel experience and not the end of the world I would stay there again, but this one episode for me was not great but really because I needed my sleep for my upcoming 19 hour shift that evening. I assume this wouldn't happen again so I'll likely be staying again for my next 5 night stint in April.

Bait & Switch
Outside of the overall disappoint with the stay, the manager and staff were extremely friendly and courteous and sincerely apologized for the short comings described below.
We reserved 3 rooms for our stay - King Bedroom Suites. When we arrived we were told they were overbooked and given 2 Bed Standard Rooms. Worse yet, no concessions were given with respect to price on the downgrade.
Additionally, the coffee in the lobby was regularly empty, the shower mixing valve was malfunctioning, and they were not able to provide a receipt at the time of check out.
