It was ok.
Deborah L
The front desk staff when we checked in was so helpful and kind. The outside of the hotel was not updated but a wonderful perk is the vintage rose garden outside of the hotel. Absoulutely beautiful varieties of roses from so long ago. They were breath taking. I would return just to view and smell the roses again. Thank you Super 8!
Sonya
Dirty outdated and smelled
Amanda
This is a two floor hotel. No elevators.
Staff is very friendly and kind. Ice machine has water to fill up your water bottle. Continental Breakfast, yogurt, waffles, and coffee, milk, and juice, bananas was nice and light. Good selection. Stayed on a Friday night room was quiet and clean. Microwave and Fridge in room. I would stay here again. TV has nice movie channels.
Beautiful Roses on backside outside of the hotel is a nice view.

Breakfast was simple, cereals etc and waffles. I wouldn’t have expected hot food for this price.

Laurie
Everything was just fine😊

This is our preferred hotel to stay at when we visit my mom. The location is perfect, close to her and right off the highway. The rooms are big and have a nice lazy boy type chair for kicking back in. The breakfast was not as good this time. I had a bowl of Raisin Bran - the raisins were very hard - I picked most of them out and just ate the cereal. I feel in the past there was also hard boiled eggs as an option.
The fruit was perfect, my husband had a waffle and was pleased with it.

All good
Don
Clean and convenient. Some noise in the hallways at night. The breakfast had sufficient options. Beds were a little too soft.
Daniel
Reservation was for a single queen bed handicap room. Checked in late and was given a 2 bed room that the heat was off and when we turned the heat on it took 2 hours to warm up then it was either too hot or too cold. No adjustments. Breakfast was spoiled apple juice and yogurt that had a spoiled taste as well. Bed was not very comfortable and seemed smaller than the queen size we have at home.
Scott
Always clean, staff always friendly
sandra
Very clean roomd
Scott
Myself and several friends stay here frequently and the ownership of this property keep up with maintenance and the condition of the motel. Friendly and accommodating staff and clean rooms. Never had an issue since 2018!
KRISTINA CECILIA
No breakfast as stated. Staff not helpful at all. Requested an extra pillow three times and never got it. Room door didn’t latch unless pushed on extremely hard. Overall bad experience. Will not stay here again. Nothing is as advertised. More like a motel where people reside than a hotel. Terrible. Dilapidated
Janice
Great room, quiet, easy to find, plenty of parking, the breakfast met all of my needs.

The sheets and blankets were stained. The chair was stained. The bathroom door was hard to latch. There was stuff leftover from the last guest in the fridge.

This is a well-run Super 8
Ann
The receptionist was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable. Not fancy. All I needed was a place to stay. A bit more variety rather than just white bread and bagels would be nice.

I stayed at the Super 8 in Fond du Lac for two nights. Overall, it was a solid budget option, though with a few things that could be improved.
The location is great—close to restaurants, stores, and the highway, which made it really convenient. Check-in was fast, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The room itself was clean and fairly spacious, and the bed was comfortable, which is really all I needed. The Wi-Fi worked well, and I appreciated the free breakfast, even though it was pretty basic (just some grab-and-go items like muffins, juice, and granola bars).
That said, the room did feel a little dated—some of the furniture had wear and tear.
All in all, if you're looking for a clean, affordable place to crash for a night or two, this Super 8 gets the job done. Just keep your expectations realistic—it's no frills, but decent value for the money.

Michael
Nice Super 8 experience for a competitive price

Nice Super 8 facility, good alternative to other hotels with jacked up rates during special events in area
JASEN
A quiet, clean location, with comfortable beds. My only negative reaction was that the free continental breakfast was minimal.

Room Dingy, Not Clean. Will not stay again.
The hotel is not updated. As we stayed in the room we noticed the room was not clean, as you can see from the pictures. Thankfully we only stayed one night. If we had stayed more nights we would have left and found another hotel. The hotel staff did not man the the counter and you had to ring for them every time. As we were packing to check out we noticed dog poop under the desk that had been there for quite a while, again another picture. We did not bring this up to hotel staff as there was no staff at the front desk and we had to be somewhere else so could not wait.
Also as we walked to our room there were clearly no smoking signs posted everywhere but the smell of weed was quite noticeable. This only happened once but it was strong.
The room hvac controls were button and dials, no thermostat. This made controlling the temperature in the room impossible.
Will make it a point in the future to avoid this hotel.

Clean rooms and great Staff!
Kathy
Great service and very clean rooms. It is obvious that the management takes pride in providing customers with a comfortable stay. I also loved the rose garden outside the door where we parked.
Brian
It’s really ok for the price and if you’re truly just laying your head on a pillow. Not many frills but it got the job done
Terry
It was exactly as advertised! Very convenient location for Road America. Very kind and attentive staff. Well-kept. Plenty of breakfast choices! I ate like a queen.

Good room for the money. However, the room is dark. There is a light on either side of the bed and one over the desk. The other single light is in the bath.
Betsy
Friendly staff, clean, and comfortable.

Very nice and clean hotel.
I did a late check in because I needed a place to sleep. I think I was there less than 12 hours. I watched tv, fell asleep, and left. The female staff there was really nice. I forgot my food in the fridge. I came back about 20 minutes later to retrieve it. It was still there. Thanking TMH for that and the nice desk clerk who let me go in the room to get it.

Nice price!
It was okay.
Tyler
Terrible experience. Young child working the front desk. Unexpected charges I have to dispute. Rooms were dirty. Stay away.
Kati
It was good. I wish the lighting was better. It was very dark in the sink area.

Nice Stay
Room was nice n clean. Room was comfy. Noise level was fine. Down side: no full body mirror. Toilet water flow was weak and weird. It flushed like the toilet was plugged.

Motel in Fond du Lac
Terrible check in experience. Room is decent and clean.
Michael
The staff we encountered were very polite, but the room was disgusting. Not in very good condition and absolutely filthy!
George
Nice clean room on the main floor. Simple waffle breakfast that was fine.
Barbara

2 nights to shop and relax
A clean simple hotel where my daughter and I stayed two nights - we were only supposed to stay one and at the last minute figured out we needed the second and the manager figured out how to do that AND keep us in the same room! It is close to Shopping and only a few minutes down the road is the entrance to the park at lake Winnebego (splash pad, ice cream, lighthouse etc.) overall great experience!
Patrick
It was fine all went normal
Christopher
Just an old motor lodge for the price stay was average. Was quiet so that’s a plus. So called breakfast a little weak.
Jeff
Very nice stay. Clean. Comfy. Kind staff.
Eddie
Mattress cover had pee stains

Happy
The front desk people were so helpfully, kind and actually treated us like we’re family! The bed was super comfortable!
