Lovely hotel in a close in location. Comfortable room with easy on site parking. The attached restaurant is fabulous and I’d highly recommend it for dinner.

This is not my first stay in Art Hotel and it seems that overall service has slipped quite a lot.
After I checked into the hotel, I noticed that the trash bin was not emptied, and I also found a stocking caught between the cupboard doors.
After that I took shower, because the bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap are fixed to the wall, I took what I needed for use. As I apply the conditioner hoping to smoothen out my hair, I noticed my hair was foaming with lather. It seems that soap or shampoo had been added to the conditioner container.
Lastly was on amenities, I had some tea in the room on Day 1. On Day 2, I noticed that no need tea bags were replenished after the room was cleaned. Also, the hotel does not provide bottled drinking water.
While the room has a big bed with nice drawings in the wall, the hotel does not provide the basic service and amenities for an enjoyable stay.
This would be my last time staying here.

Although my stay was brief - to visit the Panza Collection nearby - my stay was excellent. The hotel has a great atmosphere of a country house. The express check in was incredibly fast and efficient, and the room was very good, with excellent air conditioning. The breakfast was also very very good.

Just a lovely hotel which has bags of character yet all the business amenities you will require. The building is lovely the car park is free and its location in the town of Varese is perfect.
It also has a lovely restaurant if you just want to chill in the hotel or catch up on work.

Art Hotel Varese is very well located within short walking distance from the historic centre where someone can find nice restaurants, bars and shops. It is also very convenient to use it as a hub for several activities in the area such as hiking, cycling, trekking etc. The hotel is in a very good condition with comfortable rooms. I'd definitely recommend it for a short stay in the area.

Whoever designed the hotel was on somekind of egotisitical trip but was not thinking very much about the practical requiremrnts of guests especially spending more than one or 2 nights. Room layout, storage space, crazy design of wardrobes, escaping water when the showers are in full use all cause problems. The staff- friendly but generally not much sign of professionslism, most of them probably students. Luckily, because not many guests staying in hotel, we managed to survive the visit.
Good location. I wanted hotel close to centre, so that was fine.
Fortunately the price was good as the Art Hotel does not match my expectation of a 4• hotel.

An unexpected gem!
The room and the bathroom were spotless, and the fixtures and furniture were great. The shower included both a handheld nozzle and a rainfall showerhead, plus top of the line shampoo and conditioner. The attention to detail in the hallways and the artwork throughout the hotel added to the upscale atmosphere. I wished I had longer to enjoy it!

The hotel is beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was good as well. The room was a nice size and very comfortable. Unfortunately we were situated close to the cleaning area and thus could hear the washing machine/tumble dryer and the cleaning ladies from very early (think about 6am) in the morning which is not ideal if you are on holiday!

Arriving by hired car we found the signage a bit obscure.The reception and other staff were all pleasant and helpful. We were allocated a good sized, comfortable room on the second floor - considerate for a seven night stay. There was plenty of clothes storage space, but some of it not the easiest to use. Good range of continental breakfast foods, running to ham, cheese and scrambled egg; nice croissants and cakes. Hotel is situated about 10 minutes' walk into the town centre, with several restaurants within this walking time, and is well situated for driving to both Lake Como and Lake Maggiore. We had a very pleasant evening meal in the hotel. Would be happy to stay at this hotel again if we were returning to this area.

This Hotel grows on you. It takes time to appreciate the simplicity and eye for detail that the designer obviously showed. The beds were very comfortable, parking was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were in a family of four and felt very relaxed by the atmosphere of the Hotel and its garden.

My wife and I stayed at 'Art Hotel' for two nights - first whilst motoring on the way to southern Italy and then on the return journey heading back to the UK. The hotel was well managed and occupied a building full of character in its own extensive garden. The restaurant was excellent. The large rooms were very comfortable; some have normal toilet /bathrooms whilst some have separate toilet and bathroom. An easy 10 minute stroll into town.

The only down side of the Hotel was that I could not sleep. We were on the second floor, our room was off a small corridor/hall and I could hear everything in my room.The floor in the hall is wood/ parquet and I heard shoes, heels, suitcases rolling,ppl talking. Ahh I woke up 5 times every night. If you want to sleep, you won't get any sleep if your room is off this hall way. I don't know why they don't put a carpet on it. Hotel hall ways should be SILENT!!
Besides that it was fantastic - Breakfast was mmmmmmmmmmmmm. I got my sleep when I got home.

Leider entsprach der Aufenthalt nicht ganz unseren Erwartungen. Das Zimmer war insgesamt zu laut, da es direkt zur Straße lag, und aufgrund der Hellhörigkeit waren auch Geräusche aus den Nachbarzimmern deutlich hörbar. Die Kissen waren für unseren Geschmack zu hart, was den Schlafkomfort beeinträchtigte. Beim Frühstück gab es leider keine große Auswahl, und es fehlte an einfachem, normalem Brot. Insgesamt wirkte das Frühstück eher lieblos zusammengestellt.

The hotel is located a short walk from the center. The bus leaves not far from the hotel. The room was a good size, the bathroom too. The bed could need a mattress topper. Plus for the fridge. The breakfast was a bit simple for a 4 star hotel, but you get full. First day it seemed a bit chaotic during breakfast, like there where no new glasses when I came down stairs. All over a good stay.

Très bon accueil, bonne literie et salle de bain propre et fonctionnelle. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié et c’est du vrai café italien ! Malheureusement le restaurant est fermé le dimanche soir, mais le centre ville ( rues piétonnes très agréables) est à 400 mètres.

We went here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect choice. I even thought of cancelling plans and booking an extra night because we liked it so much. The area of Varese is such a beautiful, quaint city. The hotel smelled like a spa when we walked in, and everything was so wonderfully curated.

El hotel está muy bonito y bien ubicado, increíble que para poner el aire acondicionado tengas que llamar a recepción y el lo enciende y lo programa a distancia, pero lo que es intolerable es que no recojan una sola mesa durante el desayuno, y que tengas que estar viendo vasos, tazas, frutas mordidas, servilletas etc etc en las otras mesas y ves que no limpian una , incluso cuando entras te van invitando a que pases a las mesas del fondo para no levantar ninguna mesa. Te deja una sensación a sucio e incómodo durante el desayuno.

War eigentlich alles richtig schön, nur war leider abends das Restaurant bzw. die Bar nicht offen, so dass wir uns immer was in Varese selbst suchen mussten. Innenstadt ist aber in 10 Min. zu Fuss zu erreichen.

Tweede verblijf binnen 12 dagen. Inchecken zo gebeurd, want alle gegevens waren al bekend van de eerste keer. Wij kregen de sleutel en konden meteen naar de kamer. Zo geef je de gasten weleen goed gevoel.

Nous n'avons donc pas retrouvé tous nos repaires, mais tout reste parfait malgré quelques changements !
Le personnel en salle est toujours aussi aimable, les chambres sont toujours parfaites, il manque toutefois de la lumière dans le salon, et le jardin mériterai d'être nettoyé (Même en décembre ... Beaucoup trop de feuilles mortes)
Bizarre, les guirlandes éclairées dans les cheminées, et les braseros de feux de bois dans le jardin, par température de 0 à 3 ° !!!

Arrivate in hotel verso le 10 di sera,saliamo in camera e il primo impatto è stato stupore per la bellezza,peccato che dopo essere andata in bagno e aver fatto la doccia,tutti gli scarichi si sono intasati contemporaneamente e ha iniziato a uscire acqua anche dalle fughe del pavimento del bagno.Ovviamente la puzza ha invaso la stanza e subito ho chiamato in reception per comunicare la situazione,mi hanno proposto un'altra stanza inferiore a quella prenotata,oltre ad essere gelata. comunichiamo in reception che il riscaldamento non funzionava e solo dopo 3 chiamate il personale è venuto in camera e si è reso conto che era staccato il quadro elettrico.L'indomani la signora in reception ci dice che era dispiaciuta per l'accaduto e solo dopo aver sottolineato il nostro disagio si è proposta di offrirci un caffè,che ovviamente abbiamo rifiutato. Credo che gli imprevisti possano capitare,il mio rammarico è stato la cattiva gestione,una camera pagata 90€ non può essere in quello stato e soprattutto avendo subito un disagio non posso poi essere spostata in una stanza inferiore e gelida.Inoltre il giorno dopo avevano mille modi per recuperare, rimborsando l'intera o parte della stanza o offrendoci la colazione spontaneamente,tutto questo non è successo.

Zentrales Hotel
Es ist ein zentral gut gelegenes Hotel. Zu Fuss sind es nur ca 8 Min. Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert. Leider hatten wir das Pech, dass unser Zimmer neben dem Lift und der Abstellkammer lag. Man hörte am Morgen die Reinigungsfrau arbeiten. Wir haben eigentliches ein ruhiges Zimmer gebucht, wir bekamen aber ein Zimmer direkt oberhalb der Staubsaugeranlage, die den ganzen Tag lief. Nachts war es ruhig, aber selbst am Sonntag wurde die Anlage um 8.30 Uhr wieder angestellt. Ans Ausschlafen war demzufolge nicht zu denken. Auch die Zufahrtstrasse hatte grosse Löcher. Wenn man kein Jeep hat, etwas ungünstig. Das Frühstück war gut. Trotzdem würden wir nicht mehr dort buchen.

Schönes Hotel für den Kurzaufenthalt
Das Hotel ist sehr gute gelegen, jedoch ist die nahe stark befahrende Strasse die ganze Nacht über stark zu stören. Unser Zimmer lag direkt über den Rest/Bar, im schönen Wetter verweilen die Gäste sehr lange ( 02.00h) morgens im Freien und feiern ... wenig erbauend

Last weekend we had a booking from friday 15th september to sunday 17 september.
Unfortunately, due to unpredictable family reasons we had to change our plans for our week-end and we were not able to arrive on Friday as expected. (In addition we had to change train tickets and flight but this is not related to the hotel)
We arrived at the hotel on Saturday 16th at 13h00 and left the same day at 15h00.
Knowing that we announced the day before that we would not be able to arrive on Friday, and that we would not stay the evening of the Saturday neither, we were very surprised to see that the hotel has not proposed any commercial gesture or arrangement.
At least not charging one of the 2 nights would have been very appreciated from us... Unfortunately the team present at the hotel at this time was not able to make such decision.
I wrote an email to ask to reconsider and maybe see if they can reimburse one night. It would have been very appreciated. Unfortunately this has not been the case...

Historisches Gebäude mit gelungener , teilweise witzigen Kombinationen von alt und neu - spannend.
Dies findet sich auch im Restaurant Angebot wieder. Hier könnten die Preise für das Essen zwei bis drei
Euro weniger vertragen und es wäre dann immer noch gut bezahlt. Dies täte der Qualität keinen Abbruch.Das Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse gut. Nur der Service war am Sonntag wegen den Spätaufstehern kurzzeitig etwas überfordert. Alle Mitarbeiter in allen Bereichen sind super freundlich. Negativ : Man hört die Geräusche der Straße im Zimmer ( bei gekipptem Fenster ) und die
Gräusche der Mitarbeiter ( Zimmer war auf der Rückseite des Gebäudes ). Nur der guten Ordnung halner - an dieser Seite wird auch gegenüber zur Zeit gebaut. Baustelle war natürlich am Wochenende nicht in Betrieb. Fazit : es war ein guter Start in unseren Urlaub. Wir würden dort wieder übernachten.
