Staff was very accommodating, courteous, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Stayed a week and it felt like home! Large pool, and gym. Which were clean and very usuable. There was a horse track across the street, but it was not loud and it did not dictract me from my sleep.

We stayed at Una for a month while our house was getting ready for us to move in. We absolutely loved it! The staff are so nice and helpful! The food at the restaurant is amazing! It’s easy to park, it’s easy to access. We will definitely be recommending it to our family and friends when they come for a visit. Amazing place!

The property is located about 10 miles to Switzerland border, and nearly 30 miles from Malpensa Airport. It easy to maneuver if you don’t mind Verse’s rich roundabouts. The buildings were designed there will be no future cars. Arese Mall is also about 30 miles. Don’t leave Milan without visiting the mall.

Great Hotel

One of the best hotels we stayed in during our 1 month holiday in Europe.
Ample parking, large space for big cars and free compared to our last hotel that charged 11 euro per night for an awful garage.
Love the sumptuous breakfast with plenty of healthy choices. In the evening, there's happy hour kind of snacks which are delicious.
Hotel is clean and room spacious. Could have given them 6*

This is a convention center a bit out of town. The room was nice: good size, modern, comfortable for 2 people. The staff was helpful and attentive. There were some stains on the hallway rug which were a bit unsightly. The on-site restaurant was good but not cheap and not open Sundays. Alternative eating possibilities were few because of the location about 15 minutes walk from downtown. At dinner time we were usually tired from the day's activities and not in the mood to walk again. Bus service was frequent however. We resorted one night to Deliveroo to save shoe leather.

Decent hotel

The hotel was large, it’s currently undergoing maintenance. No active use of swimming pool as of (March 2023), works being done to outside facilities including building cladding. It is in good condition with decent rooms.

Our room had two bathrooms, but a toilet seat was missing in one, some fittings were loose in the bathrooms. This wasn’t an issue for us as there was another to use.

The hotel has a 4 star rating on the front entrance door but not sure about that, maybe 3* star working it’s was to a 4* 🤔 although it does look nice inside.

The staff were ok and willing to help. They would order a Taxi for us, but we had to arrange car hire from another source ourselves, this is not clear on website. They let us store bags in a safe room on our checkout day, the front desk spoke good English.

All in all we will stay there again as it is in a good location for us and the rooms and hotel did reflect the good price of €399 for two rooms for 2 nights.

Breakfast was a buffet, scrambled eggs and bacon. This is a as close as you will get to a fry up. But a large selection of everything else, hams, fruit, breads, cheese, continental style but good.

The bar is only open from 5pm till 11pm, not very good for hotel bar as we brought family back for a drink and it was closed. They do give decent complimentary snacks which was very good.

You can smoke on the balconies to each room or outside, but not inside that was good.

Pros: I was impressed with the hotel and the room, I got all the comfort I needed. Room was very clean and well isolated, didn't hear any noises during my stay. The bed was very comfortable and there is even a mini fridge in the room.

Cons: The swimmingpool was closed for renovation, they didn't mention it in their website or in the reservation / confirmation email. The software system they are using is outdated, they didn't see I had different reservations for different days. I first booked for 3 days and then decided to add another day, they called me after 12pm demanding why didn't I have check out yet. I would recommend to improve their hospitality communication skills since customers expect to receive an exceptional service when staying at a hotel like this. Last but not least, you need a car if you are going to stay here, is in the middle of nowhere.

Fab hotel, room & balcony perfect. Reception staff brilliant easy check-in. Fault, Luigi head waiter is the worst I have come across. Miserable, not one smile, in our 2 day stopover. He berated staff & and a fellow diner in front of everyone. Had to wait 15 mins for a menu a further 10 min for a drink with another 10 wait for our order to be taken We decided to eat the following night in our room & when I asked for 2 plates he refused. He ruined a perfectly good stay at a good hotel.

The hotel was just ok. Lots of business people. Pool closed for the winter, and the room temperature is controlled by them, so heater was turned on and it was warm in the room. They offered to bring up a fan but we were checking out the next morning so I just opened the sliding glass door. I did not like the building either, everything in Varese is so charming and the construction stuck out like a sore thumb.

This hotel is a little out of the way from the main town. It was clean upon arrival.
The restaurant and bar area did not have a great selection of food so required a walk into town on most evenings.
The pool is lovely and the view out over the balcony from our room is delightful. The counter staff were friendly and helpful.

ATA is a big, spacious hotel, equipped with a gym. Parking is easy. Location is quiet. It would have been better if there are complimentary transfers to the town centre to the restaurants. Otherwise, a cab ride is approx 10 to 12 euro - not too bad also.

On warmer dys, one can actually take a walk to town centre - approx half an hour. Good for digestion after a good dinner.

Nice hotel, but too large and not for me anymore

Having stopped here over 4 years ago, i decided to book this again for a 2 night stay. My initial impression was that the hotel looked the same and having checked in everything was good.
The food from the restaurant was good although a little pricey but strangely and since my last visit this along with the bar is run independently of the hotel, which I have never seen before, so you must pay either by cash or card and cannot charge anything to your room....
The hotel is on the large size, which makes it feel there's no atmosphere, especially within the bar area and the pool appears to be no longer in use.
Would i use this hotel again, when visiting Varese? No, unless i cannot find anything else has since i first visit and whilst everything about the hotel is good, it's too big for me, especially if there are a limited number of guests and with no room charging allowed, then i will always look elsewhere.

In Varese as a landing spot for exploring towns further north. Atahotel was lovely, the rooms comfortable and so clean and the hotel staff accommodating. We had a lovely breakfast each morning ncluded with the room. The only downside is the location may not work for those without a car. We used cabs to get where we needed to go.

Stayed at Ata for 2 weeks. The hotel is great: good food, good place, good facilities. All the crew were always ready to attend you and educated. The only point it should work on improvements is the wi-fi connections in the room. It works fine until some point of corridor, but when you enter the room, the connection simply disappear. Other than that, Ata is the hotel that I would stay more times.

This modern hotel was comfortable and clean with some rooms overlooking the racecourse, and early each morning one could watch the horses being put through their paces. The hotel is a 20 minutes brisk walk away from the town centre. Staff throughout the hotel were obliging.

This hotel surprised us in a good way. The breakfast was really good and had lots of selection. They even offered Bio products including rice milk, which my son was thrilled about as he can't have dairy and that's what he drinks.
The pool area was lovely and well kept. The only thing missing were pool towels.
Great place for kids too!

We enjoyed the hotel very much in terms of the room's comfort, ammenities and staff. The one complaint we had was with the location of the hotel. We were quite a walking distance from restaurants and having rented a large car we also had a parking problem away from the hotel. We found ourselves eating dinner each night in the hotel. While the food and wine were good and fairly priced, we would have liked to experience dining in the city. We would recommend this hotel.

Unexpected Brilliance!

I'm a seasoned traveler, both for business and leisure. Finding a decent hotel in Italy for a good price is close to impossible. Air Conditioning and good Satellite/Cable TV are often unheard of. My expectations were low to find a good hotel in the Varese region, but to my surprise, this hotel blew me away. The hotel is in MAGNIFICENT shape, the surroundings, the [incredible] lobby, and the 21st century elevators... just made my day. (In Italy you will seldom find modern elevators, just so you know). The hallways were spotless with a fresh scent, the rooms perfectly cleaned, flat TV with cable and WiFi, the bathrooms spotless with a nice shower, goodies and more. I forgot my toothbrush and paste back at home and they provided some down at the lobby. Too good for it to be in Italy. I would definitely go back again, don't think it twice.

Convenient Stopover or Ideal for Busines Traveller

Convenient stopover enroute from Rome to northern France. Chose this hotel on cost comparison between Italy and Switzerland and was very pleasantly surprised when we eventually located it. Very clean, very large, modern room on fourth floor with sliding doors out to balcony with table and chairs and view of the mountains behind. Note that as soon as you open the doors the air conditioning switches off. No individual air conditioning units in rooms so asked the very helpful Stephanie (?) at reception to lower the temperature for me to a more acceptable level as was approx 30 degrees outdoors. This did not seem to make a difference so we were offered several different rooms and eventually relocated to a junior suite on the second floor where the temperature was more acceptable. Stephanie could not have been more courteous or helpful (I hope I remembered her name correctly). This suite was enormous with separate walk in wardrobe space/luggage storage area, huge bathroom and small kitchen area with fridge. Beds very comfortable and definitely king size! Breakfast very good, usual selection of cereals, sausages/bacon/eggs, fruit and a large selection of cakes and pastries. As we were only spending one night the location was not a problem but the hotel is a distance from anywhere else to eat in Varese. Overall, very comfortable hotel with swimming pool, free parking, lovely staff and a fifteen minute drive to border with Switzerland.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean, a bit of luxury, very good breakfast buffet, very good sound isolation (you do not hear any noises from other guests), good choice if traveling with or without kids, it is pretty big with lots of things we did not try (we only wanted to get some sleep which worked nicely). Only negative points are that the free internet terminal in thge lobby was useless as it was so restrictive that we could not even read our email. Also our fridge did not work but it seemed to be an unfortunate one-off thing as everything else looked perfectly maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommendable.

Zwembad in hoogseizoen gesloten bij een temperatuur van 28 graden. Komen vaak in het hotel en vaak gesloten. Hygiene in hotelkamer beneden pijl en ontbijt niet wat we gewend zijn. Komen circa 2 keer per jaar in dit hotel en echt mega slecht geworden. Excuses aangeboden door leiding bij ontbijtzaal maar receptie/directie kon niets voor ons betekenen. Hospitality is niet bekend bij de receptie, klant staat niet voorop! Hadden negatieve aspecten doorgegeven en hadden gehoopt op een reactie. Ook dat blijft uit!

Ottima struttura e servizio

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel a Varese e ne conservo un ricordo eccellente. Un grande grazie a tutto il personale della sala pranzo e della colazione: cordiali, attenti e sempre disponibili. Complimenti anche ai cuochi per la qualità e la varietà delle pietanze, sempre impeccabili. Un ringraziamento speciale a Stefano per la sua gentilezza e professionalità, e anche agli addetti alla reception, sempre gentilie pronti ad aiutare. Un plauso anche al manutentore, che ha sistemato la porta in modo rapido ed efficiente.

L’unica nota negativa – che però non riguarda l’hotel – è legata al servizio taxi cittadino: dopo le 7 del mattino non è possibile prenotare le corse in anticipo e bisogna chiamare al momento, con il rischio di lunghe attese se non ci sono auto disponibili. La struttura è un po’ fuori mano se ci si deve spostare esclusivamente in taxi, ma nel complesso il servizio e l’accoglienza dell’hotel sono eccellenti. Tornerò volentieri!
