Booked this because it’s a VIP access hotel, but they told me they don’t offer room upgrade and there’s only a tiny poseco was included that’s from the mini bar. If you want to use spa facility is extra but only open 10am to 8pm.
Breakfast is included with limited choices. A lot of sweet cakes. Service at breakfast is a little bit slow only two person running the place to order, deliver and clean up.
The room is ok, the balcony facing the valley with good view, but no privacy between other rooms, the bush fence is completely no leaves you can see into someone else’s room just standing in the balcony. So many red berries in the balcony too.
TV is tiny, and didn’t work, so no entertainment after dark.

Everything was great, SPA is payed separately, it is quite small but luckily it was almost empty. Breakfast was good, but choice was limited. Dinner in the restaurant was quite expensive considering that some things were not up to the level. Overall experience was positive. VIP perk was only one mini bottle of Prosecco for two adults, no upgrade was offered even though it was available.

The hotel has nice spa - wonderful pool and suna area. breakfast is excellent - the dinner (paid) we excellent - room is clean and - staff are friendly. It is in the nature nothing near the hotel.the village is about 10 min down the mountain. Good for relaxation

A fantastic wellness break

A very much needed solo, wellness break and everything lived up to my expectations. I can't believe I had the fantastic spa facilities almost to myself every day. The hotel was obviously really quiet pre-Christmas. The service was good, the food lovely and the facilities excellent. I had several treatments which were also excellent. All in all an excellent stay. The weather was grey and horrible each day, but I spent my time very happily in the spa, reading, swimming and planning my next treatment. When the weather is good, there is a lovely walk in the woods up behind the hotel with a guide map to follow. I did this on my last morning when the sun finally came out. I'm not sure if the hotel would suit families with young children but all other travellers would find it most welcoming and relaxing.

Absolutely amazing grounds and hotel overall. Very modern and clean. Pool and Spa area was a highlight. Really recommend if you in the area. Only thing we didn’t enjoy much was a restaurant, 7 course menu was just ok…for €80 per person. We were very tired to look around the for place to eat. Still hotel is beautiful

Rude reception staff. Very stingy hotel - pay extra for everything! No shower products provided other than shampoo (no conditioner / body lotion / etc.). Extra charge to use the spa €100 for 4 hours. Extra charges at breakfast for hot chocolate / juice / scrambled egg!

Beautiful hotel a d location

Hotel surroundings were fabulous but take your credit card as everything other than your room is ala carte 60 euro a day to swim in their pool . Dinner in restaurant at night is 70-90 euro. 50 euro for a cab ride one way if you want to go into lake como. Food was horrible and bland at the hotel that we did have .

Nice, secluded with expensive taxi service no ATM

I arrived from the airport just after 23pm and the reception was epmty!
No ATM!
Breakfast had almost no free vegetables (apart from tomato and greens) and smoked salmonother fish for those who does not eat meat at breakfast.
The cleaning person took/throw away some of the receipts I had in the room!

Our flight was delayed by over 4 hours. It was almost midnight when we arrived. The concierge called us to make sure we are on our way and left instructions on how to check into our room should we arrive after 12. We got there in time to check in and he even tried to get us a bite to eat. Beautiful location, view and yummy breakfast.

Peace and Quiet

Spa and Pool closed, dissapointing!

We where not told until AFTER booking that the hotel was under rennovation with pool & spa off limits (via email). At this point there was no possibility to cancel without big charges and just 10% off didn't help since we booked expressly to use the pool.

Upon check-in at 10.45pm restaurant was sadly closed and reception closes at 11pm sharp. Our 4 year old wanted a sandwich, they sent up some cheese, ham and bread and then charged us 96 euros! Felt ripped off.

Hotel has nice quality rooms but its challenging to get to and we just didn't enjoy the experience with 2 small children. Quite simply not worth the effort and wouldn't recommend for families with children.

The hotel is a little bit difficult to find, as it is up a dirt road on a mountain top but, the views are amazing, we especially enjoyed the sunrise. The service is quite good and slightly, expensive massages are offered all day.
The location is lovely but, out of the way. Other than the fine dining restaurant on property, there is only one eatery and three local bars near the hotel. Nothing within walking distance.
Overall, I would stay again, as the property is beautiful, great for a wedding and very modern with lovely balconies.

Beautiful and welcoming hotel!

We only stayed one night while on our way to Venice and it was raining the entire time BUT the hotel is beautiful and we could tell the scenery around it would be magnificent. The staff was all wonderful and accommodating. The restaurant upstairs was delicious and the included breakfast was one of the better ones I've had. We didn't get to take advantage of the spa but it looked wonderful as well. The hotel is off the beaten path and could be difficult to find but there is good signage for it if you look. Definitely a place I would recommend and stay again!

A Stunning and Rewarding Experience!

The facilities were simply exquisite, great cuisine at reasonable prices, wonderful health center and the owners (Betty & family), were exactly that; they treated us like family. This is the first time in my many years of travel that I can honestly say without any mental reservation that I have nothing negative to say about a hotel. The entire staff went out of their way to assist in whatever we needed, and as a manager myself who understands the importance of customer service, this extraordinary demeanor is what makes this hotel genuinely unique. Retreat in the snow!!

Spaciousness was impressive, location ver convenient but you need a navigating system for sure! Spa very nice, not huge but enough of everything. Bed was super comfy, mixture of contemporary and traditional decor very successfull and tasteful. Breakfast for this quality hotel could be more diverse and fullsome.

객실 과 직원 서비스는 좋았습니다. 하지만 6년 전에 갔을 때는 시 영 당 스파 시설 이용을 그냥 무료로 했어요. 그래서 너무 행복한 기억이 남아서 찾아 갔는데, 우리가 찾아가서 까지 묵을 정도의 그러한 서비스로서는 너무 부족 했습니다. 수영장이라도 무료로 시간을 보낼 수 있다면 그것이 추억이 되요. 먼 곳까지 가지만 일부로 가기는 너무 어려웠던 것 같습니다. 어쨌든 여행 길에 걸쳐 소파하고 수영하고 편안한 하며 습니다.

Un vero gioiello! Questa struttura è romantica, unica e perfetta per staccare la spina. Chi cerca relax troverà qui pace e benessere assoluti. Ideale soprattutto per coppie che vogliono vivere un momento indimenticabile insieme.

La posizione è spettacolare: da qui si può ammirare Milano, Como e persino Varese – un panorama che resta nel cuore. La struttura ha un fascino particolare, quasi con un carattere da antica rocca, che incanta subito.

In poche parole: un luogo da sogno, per rilassarsi e godersi ogni attimo. Per me una raccomandazione assoluta – da provare almeno una volta nella vita!

Perfekte Lage, tolle Aussicht

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel ist mit seiner erhöhten Lage am Ende eine Privatstrasse toll gelegen. Die weit gehende Aussicht Richtung Mailand und auch auf die Alpen vom Wallis und dem Aostatal ist sehr schön anzusehen. Praktisch isr auch die Nähe zur Schweizer Grenze und somit die einfache Anreise. Wir hatten ein grosszügiges Zimmer mit zwei Balkonen. Das Zimmer bot alle gewünschten Annehmlichkeiten. Speziell fanden wir lediglich, dass man sogar für den Kaffee und Tee im Zimmer bezahlen musste. Da sollten zumindest 2-4 am Tag inklusive sein. Auch fand wir es eigenartig, dass der Spa (inklusive Aussenpool) pro Tag nur 4 Stunden am Stück benutzt werden kann. D.h. es ist nicht möglich am Morgen und Nachmittag für 10-15 Minuten den Aussenpool zu nutzen im Sommer. Zusätzlich ist diese Benutzung nur inklusive, wenn man direkt im Hotel bucht, es ist generell zu teuer für eine einmalige, kurze Benutzung des Aussenpools. Frühstück und Abendessen waren hervorragend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Qualität der Speisen war topp. Ausserdem sind die beiden Restaurants sehr schön gelegen, verfügen über eine Ansprechende Inneneinrichtung und bieten auch wieder diese tolle Aussicht. Auch die Aussenterrasse ist perfekt gelegen. Weiter positiv zu vermerken ist die Verfügbarkeit eine Ladesäule für e-Autos. Wir können das Hotel gut weiterempfehlen.

Great, but beware the pool costs extra!

Wonderful hotel and rooms good size with all amenities you’d expect. Breakfast is cooked to order and excellent, if it’s busy you’ll have to wait a while for food but it’s worth the wait! So beautifully prepared, with attention to detail. The biggest letdown for us was that you have to pay 50€ per person a day to use the new outside pool as it’s located in the ‘spa'. This was not clear from the hotel description so very misleading and an expensive addition to the holiday so be aware of this when booking! You should also have a car if you stay here, the walk uphill is steep and no lights are on the dirt path.

Der Empfang war gut. Das Spa kostet extra - extra pro Person. Es hat allerdings einen sehr schönen Infinitypool und einen traumhaften Ausblick. Das Hotelzimmer war schön auch die Terrasse mit Ausblick war super. Leider war unser Zimmer nicht sauber (siehe Bild). Das haben wir auch dem Hotel mitgeteilt. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Die Restaurantleitung sehr aufmerksam - der Rest des Personals im Restaurant leider nicht. Unser Essen hat 3,5 Stunden für 2 Gänge gedauert. Die Restaurantleitung hat sich mehrfach entschuldigt und versichert, dass dies nicht der Standart sei. Leider beim Frühstück das selbe! Auf die bestellte Wurst und Käseplatte würde wir heute noch warten.

Sehr schön gelegen mit Aussicht nach Mailand

Das Hotel liegt angehoben auf einem Hügel, zufahrt mit tiefer gelegenem Fahrzeug nicht empfehlenswert. SUV kein Problem, Strasse nicht geteert. Sehr abgelegen und der SPA inkl. Pool benützung kosten pro Tag/Person 40Euro zusätzlich. Frühstück ist in Ordnung, aber alles zusätzliche kostet. Montag ist das Restaurant geschlossen, Bistro ist offen.

Leider hatte das Hotel keine Sympathie. Es ist wie ein Bild das man anschaut- das hat mehr Ausdruck. Das Personal ist aufgesetzt freundlich. Was ich eine riesen Frechheit finde- ist das der Tee und der kaffe im Zimmer 5€ kostet- dir Kapseln sind nicht mehr wert als -.50 Cents.
Wenn man über eine Platform bucht und nicht direkt beim Hotel- zahlt man für den Wellnessbereich 40€ / Tag & Person. Schade für das Anwesen. Die Zimmer waren grosszügig und sauber. Der Prosecco wie in der Buchung (VIP Ebookers) als Geschenk offeriert. War nicht vorhanden- auch auf Anfrage bei der Rezeption.

The place was misleadingly advertised on Expedia, especially the Pool & Spa is not included! Moreover, the hotel does not provide handsoap in their rooms, the double bed was rather uncomfotable due to an uneven mattress and the room was full of blinking lights to operate the \"smart-home\" functionalities. All in all, the main concern of the hotel staff seems to focus on the imposition of additional charges for anything that does not qualify as \"life support\". Seriously, not even an ibis budget hotel charges you with extra fees for orange juice for breakfast! On the other hand, the installations and furnishing were top-class and everything was perfectly clean.

I didnt like that I had to pay for swimming if i didnt use the spa (€40pp).
Staf in the restaurants was underperforming and the manager was rude. send a salade back that didnt have dressing containing large chunks of raw carrot and other ingredients, not in standard Manager didnt agree. Spa staff was perfect.

Flot hotel men med flere skuffelser

Flot hotel med lækker beliggheden og gode faciliteter. Lækkert spa område, dog til 40€ pr person. Værelset var stort, rent og rummeligt og havde flot udsigt. Den første nat vi boede der var der dog høj musik til langt ud på natten, der holdte os vågen, og da receptionen lukker kl 21, var der ingen at kontakte. Vi havde desuden booket hotellet pga mulighed for ladestander til elbil, men pladserne var optaget af alm biler. Personalet ville forsøge at finde ejerne, men vendte aldrig tilbage til os.
Vær opmærksom på, at flere elementer til morgenmaden koster ekstra.
Beliggende ca 30 min fra Como.

Einzigartige Unterkunft mitten im biodynamischen Wald. Die Aussicht vom Restaurant ist unschlagbar. Feiner Spabereich, im Restaurant ist das Essen auf Haubenniveau.

Décevant et à déconseiller

Bonjour,
Je ne laisse jamais de commentaires négatifs sur les hotels mais il y a quand même 2/3 choses a noter sur celui-ci.

A la base nous avions eu un coup de coeur pour l'établissement dont le cadre est tout de même magnifique et avons donc réservé 2 nuits.

Quelques éléments surprenants parmi d’autres :
(i) En arrivant la réceptionniste nous annonce que pour l’accès a la piscine il faut ajouter 50€ / personne pour 4 heures pourtant bien mise en avant mais tout de même noté en option,
(ii) Notre lit double était composé de 2 matelas simples et donc d’un trou au milieu, particulièrement inconfortable qui ont reveillé mes problème de dos. Apres 1 nuit, nous avons donc demandé a l’hotel s’il était possible d’y remédier, a quoi ils nous ont répondu par mail pendant la journée que le lit avait bien changé. A notre plus grande surprise, a notre retour rien avait change…
Nous avons donc une fois de plus contacté la réception qui après 10minutes nous a proposé d’aller visiter une autre chambre qui était composé de la même literie, nous avons donc refusé. A priori il n’y a aucun lit double dans cet établissement.
(iii) au petit déjeuner, le jus d’orange est en extra (6€) donc au petit déjeuner c’est au choix un jus de raisin douteux ou bien de l’eau citronné, particulierement étonnant pour un hotel se prétendant d’un certain standing.

Je n’irai pas plus loin, mais nous avons été particulièrement déçu par cet hotel et ses services et le déconseillons fortement.

Attention à l’annonce trompeuse

Attention à la grosse arnaque en réservant avec Hôtel.com : la piscine est considéré comme faisant parti du SPA et n’est donc accessible qu’en payant un supplément de 50€/personne pour 4h! (Pas même la journée).
Globalement, l’hôtel est comme un low cost sur les services : tout est à payer en supplément comme le jus d’orange au petit-déjeuner (6€). Le personnel est gentil mais inexpérimenté. Ce n’est donc pas le niveau de service attendu pour un hôtel de ce tarif.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön auf einem Hügel. Ich wahr schon oft in diesem Hotel, da Uggiate Trevano meine Heimtstadt ist. Habe oft meine Tante besucht und hier geschlafen. Leider stimmt heute das Preis/Leistung nicht mehr und es ist mir zu teuer geworden hier zu übernachten. Man muss für den Spa zusätzlich noch 50 Euro extra bezahlen, was ich gar nicht gut finde. Aber jedem das Seine.

Fijn en relaxed verblijf

Prachtig gebouw omgeven met jasmijn. Zodra je uit de auto stapt verwelkomd de geur van jasmijn en lavendel je komst. Zo ook wanneer je de terrasdeur van je slaapkamer opent, jasmijn omarmd en begeleid je verblijf, heerlijk.

Clean and tidy hotel in the wild

The hotel itself is located in an idyllic hill, and has major countryside vibe on it. The rooms are very modern even though the building itself is old and traditional, which gives it a great twist. The view over the Lombardy from our room balcony and the breakfast patio was amazing.

The hotel is easy to reach by car from the Malpensa airport and destinations like Lake Como and Maggiore as well as the South of Switzerland are only a short drive away. The hotel has good parking premises.

The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful during our stay.

Schönes Hotel.
Leider kann der Wellnessbereich von Hotels.com Kunden nur gegen einen Aufpreis von 50 Euro genutzt werden. Das wird einem aber erst mit dem Mail vom Hotel mitteteilt.
Kurzfristige Buchung kann nicht mehr storniert werden.
Da es nur eine Naturstrasse zum Hotel gibt, muss das Auto anschliessend sicher gewaschen werden, (sehr viel Staub und bei feuchtem Auto am Morgen bleibt alles am Fahrzeug kleben)

Pas au niveau de nos espérances

Dans un cadre idyllique, perché au milieu des arbres, cet hôtel est beau et confortable. La literie est parfaite et la salle de bains spacieuse.

Malheureusement, la piscine n’est accessible qu’en supplément (alors qu’aucun information en ce sens ne figure sur le site hôtels.com) à un tarif prohibitif ! Quel dommage.

Nous avons aussi diné au restaurant. Le lieu est superbe. Les mets sont très bons mais le service n’est absolument pas à la hauteur et totalement dépassé (le vin arrive quand l’entrée est terminée, de même que le pain … pas de couteau pour le plat,…) le personnel est agréable mais pas au niveau de cet établissement qui se veut de grand standing.

Quant au petit-déjeuner annoncé en buffet, il est servi à table sur commande. Les mets sont toutefois de qualité.

Il faut absolument mettre à jour les informations sur le site pour éviter ces désillusions.

Une sensation d’inachevé lorsque nous quittons l’établissement car nous n’avons pas trouvé ce que nous y étions venus chercher.
