Yes the room is spotless. It is small but has everything.
The front desk people is very helpful and polite
Breakfast is the best. Food is fresh. Service is also the best five star
It is little far from ferry boat but I found the walking route is only 18 minutes downhill so it is not a problem but walk back at night is challenging for senior.
The view is gorgeous from top.
Will come back with family when I have a chance.

Lovely hotel with great views. Breakfast was good but dinner was a bit odd, like it was trying to be Haute Cuisine when it could have just been really lovely tasty food. Shame because it let the place down and being so far out of town with an extrmely steep hill, you didn't always feel like nipping down to town for dinner.

newly renovated and excellent lake view, the hotel is on the mid mountain, take about 25 minutes to walk down and it costs about 35 Euro from downtown Como. Don't expect taxi or uber services from the local area,Cernobbio.The hotel can call the taxi if you leave from the hotel. The breakfast is pretty good and the dinner served at the hotel restaurant is ok but not too many choices . Other than the transportation, the hotel is very clean, the room is either newly renovated or being renovated. the view is unbeatable .

A Perfect Stay with Stunning Views of Lake Como

We came to Lake Como for a wedding and I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Asnigo! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful—they truly went Above & Beyond to make my stay special. The hotel’s restaurant served amazing food each morning, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious, a perfect start to each day. The pool is not heated but refreshing on a hot day. We even saw fireworks on the lake at night)

The view from the hotel is nothing short of spectacular—Lake Como at its finest. Even the elevator has a breathtaking view of lake como! I also loved that it was within walking distance to the ferry, restaurants, and shops. Yes, the walk back up the hill is a bit of a workout, but I actually enjoyed it as great exercise after exploring the area.

Overall, this hotel has everything—warm and attentive staff, wonderful food, breathtaking views, and a perfect location. I prefer boutique hotels instead of large chains and I can’t wait to return to this charming and quaint hotel!

The location is excellent. The breakfast is good with a lovely view of Lago do Como to keep you company. The staff were generally super friendly, helpful and attentive. The rooms were VERY small, especially for 2 people. Not the biggest (fit the room) or greatest beds and pillows. The bathrooms are also VERY small. The air conditioning didn’t work on both nights. The WiFi also didn’t work and when it did, it was very weak.. If you’re not an early riser, be ready for the noises coming from other guests and the housekeeping team. Plus, a little tightening up of the maintenance and repair and this could be far more a delightful experience.

We arrived at 10:30 am and our room was not ready for check in . The concierge could have offered us a complimentary coffee and pastry but decided to include it in our final bill. The hotel was also not in an ideal location and was in more an incline position and 20 minute walk from the center. Walking to the center was also dangerous due to the cars coming from corners and there was little space In the sidewalks and in some roads, no sidewalks at all. The room and cleanliness was great but staff-friendliness and location of the hotel wasn’t so good.

Beautiful hotel with views. Modern and clean. Super small rooms, no place for oversized luggage. Dining service was a little off. Slow and inefficient- one waiter for entire dining room until another arrived. Waiter kept apologizing for service. Also had to contend with loud wedding party filling the entire dining room and lounge area until 7pm.

Amazing view but service needs to improve

The only thing i will never forget is the amazing view of lake como, village and mountain the hotel has , the receptionist was kind offered us tips to enjoy the place , and gave us a free upgrade as we were celebrating our anniversary, the thing that i didnt like is no body helped us with the luggages , no security / though the area looks safe , reception is not available 24 hours , many times we went nobody was at the desk and phone service was lacking ,u have to pay to park in the hotel garage

This hotel was beautiful and had great views of the lake. The staff was friendly and helpful and they have parking available for €15 per night. Breakfast is included and was great. Our only complaint with this property was that the beds were not very comfortable.

The room that we had and at the price we paid for it was extremely small… We did have a balcony with a beautiful view however, the room was extremely small, and the bed was hard as a rock. Also, in the bathroom, the shade In the bathroom was sheer and did not provide any privacy.

Beautiful location and view of Cernobbio. Staff was very helpful and friendly compared to most hotel reception in Italy. Seated at the top of a hill so it was hard to walk to and from. I walked down to town one day but it didn’t feel very safe. Taxis you need to order 30 min advance to when you need them. Wall air conditioning units didn’t work too well, was somewhat warm. Other then that a great stay.

Perfect hotel for our stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Asnigo. Beautiful view with our room, firm comfy bed, quiet, and very kind service.

As others mentioned, the cab situation in Cernobbio is abysmal and the walk back up to the hotel can be a steep challenge but was only a real issue when we were on a time crunch. And even then we made it work. (If you have a car this would be a non-issue I’d imagine.) The staff kindly assisted with calling us cabs and the walk down the hill, though steep is quite nice. All in all, still very much worth it for the price and unbeatable views of the lake!

This is a very pleasant hotel in a superb location overlooking Lake Como.
Our room was comfortable and, although very small, it had a compact walk in wardrobe. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and well laid out with a very good shower.
Breakfast was good with a wide selection of foods although for a 4 star hotel I would have expected freshly cooked hot food rather than scrambled eggs etc sitting on a hot plate.
The hotel generally is well presented with many comfortable sitting areas both inside and out. We loved the glass lift with a view!
We were there in awful weather but I can imagine that the hotel is really delightful in the summer.

The hotel location is stunning with fantastic views of lake como. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. However the customer service really let this place down and was not what I would have expected from a hotel such as this.
The hotel maintained that it had a bar service, but each day when we wanted to get some drinks, we had to try and find staff as they were not at the bar and we were always made to feel like an inconvenience. We were also told by the front desk that busses stopped at 6.30pm into Como and that we would be able to get a taxi from the centre. However this wasn't the case, we went for dinner in como and wanted to return to the hotel for about 9pm (so not late). We called every taxi number and couldn't get through, waited at the taxi rank for 40 minutes with no taxis running and when we rang the hotel to ask what to do they basically said that we would have to wait and there was nothing they could do. In the end, we nearly had to get another hotel in como for the night as we had absolutely no idea how to get home and there was minimal help from the hotel. Eventually the hotel said they would ring a taxi company for us to find out what was going on and by sheer luck we were able to flag a taxi down to share with another couple.

This ruined our experience somewhat and I'm not sure we would therefore return.

If you are a tourist from another country and don’t have own ride, this is not the place for you. Staff at the front desk was not of any help for the areas near by. Pool closes at 7, not very convenient.
Won’t be staying here again.

Clean and modern hotel with friendly staff. Room had a stunning view of Lake Como and was a comfortable size. The location of the hotel was slightly inconvenient with little to no taxis and the buses stopped at around 18:30, so had to walk to and from the hotel a few times which does consist of some steep hills. Overall though it was a lovely stay and would return.

This place is great. We got a room with a balcony and it was amazing! The breakfast and staff were both excellent! The pool was perfect to relax and enjoy the wonderful view.
Cab ride from Como $30 and far walk to get anywhere but if you want a chill and relaxing stay somewhere far from stress, this is a perfect spot!

Just a note for those with mobility issues, the hotel is situated 20mins walk from from lake front, the walk back to the hotel is incredibly up hill. Lack of taxis in lake como currently so can’t always rely on them to get back to the hotel.

The hotel staff was incredible. Very friendly and helpful! The rooms were very clean and had great views of the lake. It is located on the side of the hill, which make it a hard 45 minute walk to como. There are few taxis which made it very hard to get from town to the hotel or train station. I would strongly recommend renting a car. The hotel restaurant has fantastic food and service. I would recommend this hotel.

A solid 4 star property

Great location above the small town of Cernobbio. Views from the property are amazing and the service is attentive and prompt. Rooms come with a full breakfast which is one of the best we’ve had at any property in Italy. Very quiet in the evening and the walk to the ferry takes about 15 minutes.

The view from the room was incredible, it was a little up the hill and out from town and was expecting a snow storm so we were a little concerned about driving up and down the hill. Turns out the snow never stuck to the ground and by the time we got out of there we were safe.

Is really bad rooms, I had a lot of problems with the pictures because is no the same rooms they want to give you a smaller room in the first floor and uncomfortable, the receptionist in the night is a rude person and we never received a competation the rooms in the third florr doesn't have internet , and can smell the humidity and cigarette smoke nobody help you to change the room , the only really great about this place is the view and the breakfast dont waste your time pay more for a room because they choose the worts room smaller and uncomfortable

The hotel has an excellent view of the lake and the setting is amazing. It’s a fair trek down some steps to the lake but only 15 mins and we done it with a 2 yr old and Pram so adult only would be fine. It felt a little dated in areas and the staff were so lovely but just not enough of them during this time. It could be that they are gradually bringing staff back post COVID but this was sometimes felt - that being said everyone was so kind and couldn’t do more to help as and where they could.

Finally my husband likes a beer or two and at €8 a glass he felt it was a little steep!
