Nice little boutique hotel. Great restaurant and bar area. Excellent location, I don't know if you can get much closer to the action. Staff was helpful and we would go back for sure. Walkable to both train stations which was convenient for travel to Milan or other areas.

I liked everything about this hotel. The staff were courteous and friendly. I was travelling alone and had booked a single room. While it was quite small, it was really nice and I had a view of the lake. The hotel has a great old world charm. The restaurant was very nice and the breakfast was excellent and included in the price. I can thoroughly recommend the Albergo terminus.

The hotel is exquisite. My room, the junior suite, was moderately priced, and had a huge terrace with a lake view, as did the high-ceilinged room with a big arched window. Every detail was luxurious, and it was immaculate. It was nicer than most 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in. The breakfast was grand, the common sitting room was gorgeous, the staff was warm and helpful, and it’s just steps from the lake and the duomo. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. It helped make Como the highlight of my trip so far.

So many good things to say about this quintessential Italian hotel. It is beautifully decorated, the staff are very helpful, great location, extensive European breakfast in a beautiful room overlooking Lake Como. I ate dinner there on my first night and it was very good. Our room was a king deluxe overlooking the adjacent piazza. It was spacious and including a small fridge and microwave. I would stay there again.

Great location , friendly staff at the front desk and restaurants, there wasn’t any vegetarian options in the restaurant so had to eat out , the shower was not good as the pressure was low and the shower over the bath made it hard to use .

For a 4 star hotel I was surprised to find that there were no English channels on the dated tv , usually it wouldn’t be a issue but the days we were there it was raining and we ended up spending a lot of time in the room .

Immaculately preserved older hotel in the middle of Como activity. Must do lake boat rides are a few minutes away across the street. The hotel dining is better than anything nearby. Great variety for breakfast buffet.

ArtDeco hotel but needs upgrading. The bathroom shower was a nightmare as I have a disability and it was so difficult to access the shower over bath.
All just a bit faded for the price in my opinion.

We enjoyed our stay but the room that we had was next to an alley and it was noisy even with the window close. During this time of month (April) we have to leave it open as it gets very hot in the room since the AC is not on yet. The hotel provided us with a fan so that helps a little. The hotel itself is very presentable and very close to everything.

I really enjoyed coming back to Albergo Terminus after COVID. It’s been about 10 years since I was last here and I could see some improvements.

Dining room is adjacent and is outdoors. Should be perfect in Spring and Summer. Food for breakfast was excellent. Omelettes made to order.

Room was bigger than last time but didn’t have the view of the lake. Eating buffet breakfast in front of the lake was heavenly.

The property is stunning. The service was very good. My only complaint was that once in a floor by elevator, you might still have to walk up 10 steps to the level your room was in, like we did. If you have mobility issues, this can be a vig problem, as it was with us. Otherwise, the restaurant is excellent and beautiful and the rooms comfortable and very pretty.

Property has a feel of a grand hotel. The room is updated and on the larger side. The restaurant is beautiful and overlooks the lake. You can walk everywhere and the boat stops on the other side of the street. Highly recommend

Elegant but affordable stay in Lake Como

Very close to the train station (14 min walking from Como San Giovanni station and about 5 min from Como Nord Lago.
Place is elegant but laid back. Rooms have traditional wood furniture but pops of color and nice window, it’s pretty quiet… no rooms with lake vie but it’s just steps aways from the lake and ferry station. Breakfast was superb! Service was fabulous, would stay there again in a heart beat~

The breakfast that came with the stay was in the gorgeous restaurant and very generous. The only thing we did not like was the view of the alleyway and garbage from our room.

This is a beautiful hotel with a full delicious breakfast buffet of hot foods and ham, cheeses, etc. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious and it’s located on the waterfront. The Alberto Terminus is a good hotel but lacks the smaller hotel vibe that we like. There is construction underway across the street which will be there for another year it so. The view from our room was fine but we would have preferred it without the tower crane..:)… breakfasts were good, bar service was fair, room was on the smaller side…. Como was very crowded while we visited…. This is probably the norm now so advised!

Oh my gosh, this was the loveliest stay. Everyone at the hotel was so kind and thoughtful. The bed was sublimely comfortable with super crisp white linens and a lake view upgrade. The breakfast room was so cool, and loads included. They kindly kept my luggage while I went around the lake after checkout.

On expedia this hotel is listed \"Albergo Terminus is located on the beach\". IT IS NOT ON THE BEACH. IT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE BEACH. THERE IS NO BEACH CONNECTED WITH THIS HOTEL. You could say... \"the beach is nearby\". It is NOT ONE THE BEACH. Very disappointed in the marking by Expedia and this hotel. Insulting.

In our well-travelled life, this was our absolute favorite Hotel experience ever. A breathtaking room with a wrap around deck overlooking Lake Como, a staff that accommodated every request, a genteel homeyness that enveloped this beautiful property, great resturant, a huge bathroom and walk-in shower unlike most others other in Italy. A private dock where we picked up a boat tour arranged by the Hotel. If you want to be outside of, but only 1O minutes from the touristy part of Como, this is the place for the most discerning of travelers.

We loved this historic gem right on the water in Como. It was the perfect location for New Year's Eve and walking distance to everything. The staff members provided top-notch service. The restaurant and bar are lovely. The room was a bit small but it was fine, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. I wish breakfast was included, and at E25, we ended up going to a quaint Cafe around the corner. I would stay here again.

We expected a bit more from the hotel - most of our interactions at the front desk were slow, and we didn't feel like we were anything other than tourists in a strange country. The room left something to be desired - really small space, with a rough mattress. The bathroom was okay in size comparatively. Would likely stay elsewhere when visiting the area again.

Splendid old world hotel, rooms compact but adequate. Hotel position excellent for ferries, trains and buses. Breeakfast offered full range of hot and cold selection, serve yourself so blame yourself if you leave hungry. Staff very pleasant and efficient nothing too much trouble. Evening meal may appear expensive at first, but check the prices in town and compare the surroundings, you can order any single item from the menu or a full 3/4 course meal, same courtesy and respect shown.
Would we go back - certainly.
