I booked and paid the room five months in advance.

When I arrived on October 16, 2025 I said I had reserved

two beds.

The lady at the reception told me:

You won't get what you have reserved

it's subject to availability.

I wanted to leave the hotel but I didn't want to waste my vacation looking for another hotel.

The bed is hard I couldn't sit on it.

I asked for two blankets to put on it so I could sit and

sleep but the blankets were too thin because they were not new it was difficult for me to sit and sleep on the bed.

The staff is very kind and helpful which made me forget the sadness of not having two beds that I reserved five months ago.

We checked in at 3am and the checked in made our tired trip a breeze. They even offered to extend our checked out time longer since we arrived at 3am. Staff are nice and the area is near shopping centers.

The room I booked was not available. Recoption said they'lllet me know if it is available. Well, reception never switchedme to what I booked for. AC was not working all the time, I had to sleep i hot temperatures. Parking was terrible. I had a complementary breakfast, but then, reception tells me no breakfast no included. So sorry, but really bad place to stay at.

Checking-in & out and staffs are really helpful and room is good but needs to be upgraded. Also balcony needs to re design to use. The location is really the best and can find walkable distance cafe & restaurants. Also the shopping malls. Overall the staying is really good and recommend this place

I think the rooms have been updated in the last couple of years. This is my second stay this year and the room had plenty of light, was clean, and the internet worked well. The location is good. There are lots of groceries and restaurants nearby and Reef Mall and Al Gauraud (Sp?) Mall are within a 10 to 15 minute walk. There is a good bar with a very talented Philippino band on site also. This is a pretty good hotel.

They may have updated the rooms. A year ago I was here and there was trouble getting hot water and wifi. Now that was fine. The room was comfortable and clean. The location is good with a couple of malls, Reef and Al Ghura(?) within walking distance and lots of stores in between. Good entertainment in the Manila21 club on the second level. Overall a pretty good stay for the price.

Hotel Fine - Visit rules a bit Prison-like

Room was large and clean. Hotel a but dated but in good condition and clean.

I didn't like the prison-like requirements of demanding ID from anybody you wanted to go back to your room, even for a drink !

It's very controlling and you don't see it in many other hotels - suggests it's a down-market clientele. Didn't like the fact that the hotel does not regard you as able to trust your own invited visitors. For this reason i will not use it again

Avenue hotel has always been my “goto place” when visiting Dubai, always have a great time in Manila21 bar.
However.... Reception check in on Tuesday 1st Dec was the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. Rude manager. I had booked via Expedia and they would not honour the booking, stating the price wasn’t available due to Expedia using another site to get the best available price. Told me If I wanted a room I would have to pay directly for a room at a “well overstated” price.
Lucky for me, after 10 mins arguing as I had already paid and had confirmation he honoured the booking. Like I said, always use Manila21 bar at this hotel and also stayed previous with no issues. Sad to say, I won’t be staying again, customer service is key especially in these hard times.
Special thanks go to Mr Numan, extreamly friendly and courteous at all times and to the band and staff in Manila21 - Hazel, Anne, Krissa, Joven, William, Mark, Kiko, Anton.

The facility was clean. You can get a good night's sleep there. There was plenty of hot water too. The internet was dropping off. I called and the front desk said they would send an engineer. He never showed up. The air conditioner kept getting colder and colder, way past the setting. The front desk said they would send an engineer. He never showed up. (You can turn it all the way off to control it. That's what I had to do.) The location is good. There are many place to eat, convenience store, forex stores, withing walking distance. Al Ghura mall is about a 6 minute walk. Reef mall maybe 8 minutes away. The biggest problem is the engineer named Casper the ghost, who does not do his job. Also, when you check in, be sure to remember to get your passport. I got ready to leave and discovered I did not have my passport. I had left it at the front desk.

I would not stay again

Granted, the price is good. But with enough effort, you can find a better value. The bed was so hard that I checked out ASAP. The hotel also keeps your passpoyuntil checkout. The neighborhood seems nice enough and the room was clean. But I would not return.

One receptionist is rude and judgemental even making bad remarks about the African customers in front of us. Your need to orient your frontliners thats not the way how to deal with your clients. You are working in service industry customer satisfaction is your main goal.

I enjoyed my stats at Avenue Hotel Dubai, the staff especially the reception Mr. Sujith was extremely welcoming and helpful, as I arrived at the hotel before the check in time, and I had an appointment to get to and I couldn’t wait, he went above and beyond to assist me in accodations so I don’t miss my appointment.
He also was very welling to assis during the duration of my stay here, so he provided the customer service at its best, the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful as well.
I experienced a bit noise issue from the next room in my last night, nut when I called the front desk, it was resolved right away.
I also recommend this hotel for its service and convenient locations to some great restaurants and shopping.

An overall nice experience, checked in at 11am and the process was very quick. The daytime manager was very efficient and the staff were friendly and helpful. Tried to extend my stay for a day and the evening manager charged me more than the hotel website charges so ended up booking the extra night online. Housekeeping was excellent.

Good value for money hotel, the check in was great and speedy our room was ready in no time which was handy as we arrived about 9am, good food at a fair price breakfast has a good selecti9n buffet at a very fair price the evening buffet is also a good selection again at a fair price as is the main menu,
Only thing that could do with a bit of sharpening up was the house keeping, our room was fine and the beds comfy just a few little issues that could do with brushing up on, the wardrobe doors would not shut so the light inside stayed on ok but annoying, very often no coffee left and the day to day cleaning was a little lacking,
Just a few little issues that they have slipped on this was our third visit and We will stay again as it is a good value for money hotel in a good location,
Just needs a little tweak, to keep its star ratings,

It's NOT a 4 star hotel.

More accurately would be 2-3 star hotel. The staff are very nice and helpful. Room was a little gloomy and sometimes it smells as there are gutters nearby. Room was small. Bathroom door when closed made loud noise. They do put scents outside the rooms. Pool is small and not heated (would have thought for 4 star it be heated). For the price paid i think this was not worth it. I stayed in Ramada hotel nearby which was 3 star amd the facilities were much better.

Way too expensive once you get in the door

Checked in at 1 am. They tried to keep my passport til the next day. That's not happening. Ordered room service twice. The first time I signed the ticket and it was fine. The second time I signed the ticket and five minutes later, I had a goon at the door telling me I did not have credit with the hotel and had to pay now!!. Shuttle to airport is 60 DHS when regular taxi is 40 DHS. Exchange rate at front desk is 3.25 when every where else is 3.6. Everything is too expensive and felt like management was trying to bully the customers into spending money. This is all from a frequent Dubai traveler. I am not new to the game.

1) Signed in at 1am. They wanted to keep my passport til the next morning. NO WAY am I leaving my passport here. 2)Stayed for two days. Ordered room service 1st time and was good. Ordered 2nd time and I signed the ticket and 5 minutes later there was a knock at the door with the waiter telling me I had no credit with the hotel and I had to pay in cash immediately. 3) Room was freezing cold the entire stay. No help showed to help 4) Restaurant and Room service rates were very expensive. 5) Airport shuttle is 50% higher than a regular taxi. Overall, not a good experience. I will not be back.

Every hotel you go to the workers want tips and that is acceptable and understood. Here it is right out in the open and anything you need or want ( e.g. ice, information or anything that does not come directly with the room you are quoted a price for it). I would still go back there, but it makes you check out other places more now

Check in process was smooth no issues, though they did want to keep my passport until checkout which I wasn’t having any of so took it back off them and said I required it for ID purposes elsewhere. The room was fine and for one person was ample enough space. Not much choice on tv but that didn’t bother me as I was hardly in the room. The one big thing for me was the area itself, I certainly wasn’t comfortable walking around after dark as it just seemed like your local area in the UK with groups sitting on street corners and along the roadside with nothing better to do. In terms of getting around it was pretty good, metro line less than 2 minutes walk and staff more than helpful enough explaining what you need. (If you’re a tourist get the red day pass for 20AED.) spent a day at the marina area and an evening in the Dubai Mall which was an experience in itself. Very easy to get lost it’s so big. Not sure about the driving standards over there, at times I didn’t think I was ever going to make it to my destination, absolute lunatics weaving in and out at high speeds.
In short I would definitely go again but I think I would pay a bit extra to be closer to the marina area as there seemed a lot more to do in that area of Dubai and accessibility is better.

The hotel is at Rigga street which is filled with options to eat and shop. The money exchange, ATM, etc. are all very near. Metro is a 2-minute walk. Service is exactly what you would expect from a lower range 4 star hotel.

Restaurant has good value for money food and a late night bar though we did not use and will not disturb your stay ,

My two main issues where; 1 Internet connection - the internet connection was awful. I could not make any calls via internet Nor could I browse the internet without interruption, also everytime I left the hotel I had to re-enter the internet login details. 2 Staff members - majority of the staff where helpful but a few where unhelpful and difficult ( I had the same family visiting everyday - whilst some staff recognised and allowed them to enter my room, other staff members refuse to allow them to my room to help with bags and baby), for unknown reasons; even though they had the required Identification needed to be left at the reception but nevertheless they where stopped from coming to my room. Negative staff members: Ms Pearl & Ms Summer. - they need customer service training.

Very good bars upstairs if your into looking for prostitutes but very expensive 40 dirhams for a sprite (now that's taking the mick) also asked for extra towel was told there was problem with laundry and they took the small one I had from my room .

How did my 20 Dubai days began...
-Late arrival to Dubai and the front desk people were nothing but accommodating and check in was smooth, no complications. All the staff were nice, polite, and willing to help you and guide you if you just ask.
-My room was great, on the 6th floor with a view of the city on Al-Rigga Main Street. The only sad part is the bed, it's hard as a rock. At first is okay, but after the 3 or 4 days it's rough & tIhanked God for the pillows to avoid body stiffness LOL each morning. Room cleaning crew were always on top of their service A+ on my book!
-The pool and the fitness room were okay and comfortable.
-Hotel location doesn't provide free breakfast, but plenty of places to choose and eat at reasonable prices. This hotel is within walking distance, a block away 3-5 minute walk to the West entrance of the Al-Rigga Metro station. So convenient!!! AND only 3 stops to the Airport by Metro from the Al-Rigga at only 5+ UAE, taxi will cost you 35 UAE
My experience with Avenue Hotel was more than I expected and pleased....except for the Rayna tour company desk at the hotel -- too expensive and extremely disappointed with my Safari tour. Alpha tour was 100% better (booked through Expedia.com)
Overall, my experience was great, and even the internet service and connectivity was good as soon as you enter the hotel if you set your WiFi on Auto connect -- yes, each morning you have to reconnect with your room number and passcode, but good WiFi connection.

The hotel is in a great area right off of Al Rigga street and the metro station. Very centrally located. The staff was friendly and nice. The room is very spacious and fairly large. I was very happy with this hotel. If i had to pick one thing out that i did not like is the bed is kind of hard. but other then that it was very clean and the room is large. The Wifi for me is a must and the Wife was great.

Not bad

The kingsize bed which i chose wasnt real kingsize it was either double or queen. Some of the front desk staff were not helpful but the other staff were very nice. It is not a bad hotel but for sure doesnt deserve a four star rating
