The area is quiet. Our bedroom is clean. Refreshments is always available, you just need to ask the receptionist. Special mention to Hash and Mariam who has been very supportive in our stay, from giving us directions about the area and which app to use for booking transports. They are very accommodating. If i get the chance again to visit the area i will definitely stay in your hotel again. Thank you very much to the whole team of B and B Hotel Como City Centre.

The property was just OK. There were no carpets in the rooms or hallways so every sound could be heard in the room from the down the hallway. The shower was very small as my wife and I kept hitting the shower doors and the fixture which would turn off the water or change the temperature rapidly. The towels were the thinest Ive seen in a hotel. There were no wash cloths and only one soap for both shampoo and body wash.

I paid more to specifically book a double twin bed room. We arrived shortly after 2pm to check-in and were told no rooms were available. The hotel did not offer to reduce the price of our room when we had no other choice but to accept the room containing a single double bed. They blamed the mistake on hotels.com and told me I had to take up the issue with the website’s customer service.

Pokey, poorly maintained and in need of an upgrade

I was disappointed. The room, its proportions, the shower all of it was way more basic and depressing than I was expecting even for a budget hotel. The best bit was the breakfast offer served in a bright room. Had a way better stay in a boutique style hotel for less money a few days later in the centre of Milan so won't be staying in Como again next time I want to take a train to the lake.

Location was perfect for our one night stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and bathroom was spacious. Free parking, although spots are tight and not very many. Overall happy with our choice.

The front desk staff was very friendly. The room was suppose to be a “superior” room and it was not. It had dirty walls with lots of scuff marks everywhere. I swore when I booked it said breakfast was included,but I was told it would be an extra $9 per person per day. A lady in front of me during check in booked a room for nearly a hundred dollars less than I paid and it included breakfast. The sink made some awful noises when using it and the water pressure was low/slow.There was also some small bugs.We kept the windows closed so I have no idea where they came from.

The bed was comfortable. Check in was easy. The room was quite warm and I was told not to touch the thermostat or it could go off completely. I’m not sure why, but there were shavings either from drilling a hole, or from paint on the floor by a door. This is a budget hotel, and for the price it fit our needs.

Great for one night, location brilliant, room clean, the aircon wasn’t the best but it was tolerable. Staff were friendly, easy check in process and parking was convenient and cheap. Would return for a short stay again, wouldn’t stay for an extended period, the hotel is good for convenience and had everything we needed.

My wife and I would like to thank all the staff for their outstanding services during our 5 days stay. We are not expecting a lot from this hotel, but I was amazed! The cleanliness of the room, bathroom, eating areas and the reception were absolutely spotless. There were also bits and pieces of essentials available by the counter in which we find very useful. The breakfast was more than enough to fill your day. The location was excellent! Just about 5 minutes walk from the train station of Como San Giovanni. And of course, we would like to commend the young lady from reception named Virginia who's very attentive and approachable for every things we need. This hotel is lucky to have Virginia on the front desk! So, calling all travellers who are planning to visit Como, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. Go for it. The price is absolutely reasonable! By the way, kudos to the free bedroom slippers, we love it. Thank you Team Ɓ&B! Hope to see you again.

We booked 2 nights in this hotel. The location was OK, walking distance to the center. The hotel was basic and the room itself was unfinished. The bathroom was poor quality it a broken shower door and the tiling left a lot to be desired. It is a hotel that serves the purpose of a bed for the night, quiet basic.

I already sent a review of our check-in which worked out only by sheer luck. Had the employee left two minutes sooner we would have been sleeping on the street due to an employee misspelling my name so I couldn’t self check-in . It would have been a nightmare had there been no staff present.
The room was fine but lacking furniture. We were two people with two bags, and there was no place to put the second bag, so it was on the floor. There were no side tables. There was no dresser.
The shower was tiny (the smallest I saw in Italy in the last 28 days) and high off the ground. I have a bad knee and I couldn’t even get in. So no shower in three nights. Not fun.
The air conditioner made a loud rattling sound.
The room had a musty/moldy smell most likely coming from the shower. The tracks on the shower doors were black with mold.
The breakfast was good.

Location perfect, right near the train station and 5 minute walk from the lake.

Quality of the room good, tv great and also the fridge, but bathroom condition really poor. Shower did not stand up in position making it really awkward, and the wall is pretty much coming apart inside/above the shower. Toilet makes a noise constantly as if it is leaking.

Service from staff at desk mixed. Man who checked us in/out was brilliant, really helpful and friendly. However, during our stay asked for an iron from staff at desk several times and was just told it’s not here. Told to come back later, same response. No effort to find one or when one available. Small issue of course, but annoying.

We had a really nice time with a group of friends. The hotel doesn't look much from the outside but the inside is very modern and clean. The rooms were great with very comfortable mattresses. Also the hotel is very conveniently located to the centre and

The hotel is close to all you want a 5 minute walk to the train station and a 24 hour supermarket,10 minutes you are at the lake and ferry,the hotel is very nice,staff were excellent,room small but decent apart from the shower if you are a big person the shower will cause some issues,the hotel has a well stocked provisions corner,drinks,food everyday essentials,breakfast was more on the continental side scrambled eggs and frankfurters were available orherwise bread rolls ham cheese cereals and pastries all very tasty,would thoughly reccomend the hotel.

Bathroom was bad with a broken showerhead spitting water all over and a bathtub 100 years old. Bathroom needs a major refurbishment.
Room was simple with just the basics (one pillow per person, mini fridge, tv and AC).
For one night it was okay.
Can't complain for Breakfast as it is only 5€ per person!

This hotel delivers great value. Located almost in front of Como’s train station, it’s a convenient option for travelers like me who avoid taxis. Also, it is 3-4 blocks from all the restaurants and shops, but the street it is on is a main artery with no charm. Most of the staff is just ok, but Gabriel really lights up the place: always smiling, super helpful, welcoming, proactive. The included breakfast is a great deal for 5 euros. The rooms are small, with small windows and tiny showers, ours was a little shabby… but water pressure and temperature were nice. Beds are comfy and clean. Overall, we were very happy,
