DO NOT STAY HERE! Property put us in a room with the AC not working. They obviously knew it was not working because the receptionist knew that two of the power fuse switches could not be turned on at the same time which controlled the air conditioning. Both needed to turn on and if you turned on one switch the other would turn off. They tried to tell me that this problem was new but if that was the case why did she know about the fuse switches. They couldn’t even offer us a fan. We only have 2 nights in Milan and I did not want to lose sleep for 1 night. They offered a different room for the next day but they said they were completely booked tonight so they could not give us a room with working AC for tonight. I said if you can’t give me a room with working AC, I will leave and find a hotel that has working AC. That is what we had to do to be able to get decent sleep. This place is dishonest and they will knowingly book people into a room that they know does not have the features requested. I am contacting Expedia to hopefully get them removed and also I will review them every place possible to let everyone know to book somewhere else. Both the manager and the receptionist are will to deceive their guest. How will you know you will get what you booked at this facility. Don’t reward dishonest business practices!

Not recommended - Central but not comfortable.

Conveniently located hiotel close to the train station and a short walk to shops/cafes/the lake.

The downsides are that the hotel is noisey, the beds are very firm and the hotel will charge you if you even so much as lift a bottle of water from the fridge in the room for more than 10 seconds as stated on a notice in the room.

Breakfast was poor to average.

Id not stay here again but fine for 2 nights on a tight budget.

Close to station. Nice breakfast. Small room, 1/4 of the floor space taken up by big box. Very small bathroom, awkward to access small shower. Online pictures make it look better than it is.

For the location and price, this was a great property. The room was actually more spacious than we expected and quite comfortable. The breakfast was simple but quite nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great! Just a few minutes from either train station and Lake Como itself.

PROS: - The cleanliness, the bathroom and Bedroom were very modern and neat. Staff were great, very attentive and accomodating. The Breakfast was excellent. Room included a safe.

Good for train stopover

250m from station made for a very easy stopover. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The holder for the hand held shower head was broken but this could be easily fixed and still able to take a shower so no real problem. Breakfast simple but adequate. Manager friendly, helful and spoke English. Close to old town bars and restaurants. Overall it suited our purpose for a brief stopover well.

It’s close to train station where you can take bus C10 and C30 to go to Menaggio and Bellagio. Bus tickets can be bought in the cafe next to the entrance of the train station. There are also a lot of shops/restaurants/supermarkets within walking distance.

It's opposite to train stain station, and 15 minutes from the ferry.breakfast all good, coffee tasty. Price wise you get exactly what paid for.Room small, beds comfy, pillows comfy.
Only downside was the smell from bathroom, but i think it's all to do with sewerage problems overall in area. Dorr closed - problem solved👍
Would comeback. Workers great.

Very well situated for San Giovanni Station. Very good and clean room and excellent value. The only downside was the traffic but that is unavoidable given the convenient location. Definitely recommend for a brief stopover, but less so for a longer stay

This property is very well situated if you are traveling by train. It is 5 minutes walk to your hotel from the train station. At the same time you are at the center of all activities. 10 to 15 minutes walk to Como lake, coffee, restaurants, the Beauty ty of the city. I loved it!. This is said, I have to say 3 negative things: only Italian Chanel TV which I think is bad. If you do not speak Italian you can’t watch the news. This property must make an effort to add international channels at least CNN and TV5. The second negative thing is there is only one side to turn off the light when you are in bed which is the other side of the toilet (with only one side of a place to put your stuff). The phone is not working. If there is an emergency and you are locked in your room because everything is electronic, you are stuck! Besides that this property is excellent for a long weekend. Cheers

Disappointing and misleading description

Disappointing - worst hotel of a 2 week trip in Italy. Man who checked us in (owner or manager?) Was rude and unhelpful. Hotel says its pet friendly but dogs not allowed in the breakfast room (which is also the entrance). He also refused to wear a mask (although this is legally obliged in italy). 1 lady working in the evening was friendly but could not make up for the man's behaviour. Breakfast did not look great, the room was small and the bed uncomfortable. \"Free parking\" was also misleading as this is only if you can find a space on a very small, narrow road (you won't). So we had to pay 18 EUR for private parking. Only plus side is it was walking distance to the lake and was cheaper than other Como options. After 2 weeks of fantastic hotels and service in other cities, we couldn't wait to check out.

Great breakfast, a convenient one night stop over. We were kept awake by a crying baby in a nearby room and people moving around in the hallway - so walls are quite thin. Totally would stay again if arriving late/leaving early. Room was clean and bathroom updated and nice.

Very happy family stay for 2 nights

We stayed two nights in this hotel. Can’t fault the location, we found the hotel easily (despite reviews that made it seem difficult – just followed the arrow!) We were not expecting but grateful that the hotel had set up a little cot bed for our 4 year old daughter – the semi double bed was definately big enough for 2 adults. The staff were helpful and very grateful they heated up her dinner on a cheeky request on first night.
We also enjoyed Breakfast, the free wifi (good connection) a good supermarket not far away as well as the lake side and children’s playground. Would be very happy to stay again!

A delightful place to stay in Como...

The hotel is, first of all, close to the train station (5 minute walk with luggage), which made it very easy to get to. Service is prompt, cheerful and courteous. It is a fast walk to the town center and to the lake. The room was comfortable, if a little close, but the bathroom (especially the shower) were plenty big enough. WIFI worked and stayed working. It was a great find!

Previous reviewers have mentioned all the pluses for this B&B. Close to the station and the town/lake, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable rates and very good breakfast. They have also warned of the rooms on the main Rd side which are so noisy sleep is impossible. The rooms are small and dated, our 2nd room after moving was a twin with very small beds at opposite ends of the room. Air conditioners are ineffective and the electrics in need of overhaul. This is worth considering but take into account all the reviews.

Die Lage ist etwas unglücklich, wenn man mit dem Auto anreist. Die öffentliche Tiefgarage ist 5 Min. zu Fuß entfernt und kostet 20€/Tag. Man muss das Gepäck dann zur Unterkunft tragen. Das Zimmer war winzig. Wir kamen nicht aneinander vorbei, sondern mussten uns immer gegenseitig in den Flur oder ins Bad ausweichend platz machen. Im Bad gingen Lüftung und und Licht nicht aus, was wir aber erst am nächsten Tag gemeldet haben. Der verschlossene Safe wurde umgehend geöffnet. Die Badamaturen waren locker und die Duschtür schloss nicht richtig. Auf einer Seite des Bettes gab es gar keinen Nachttisch mehr und auf der anderen Seite drohte er ständig abzufallen und alles rutschte von der schiefen Fläche runter.
Preis-Leistung wahrscheinlich dennoch OK, weil das Zimmer günstig war.
Ein Lichtblick war die Sauberkeit, das sehr freundliche Personal und das kleine aber sehr gute Frühstücksbüffet.
Ein Hinweis noch zu den Bildern, die das Hotel bewerben: Auf einem ist eine belebte Fußgängerzone mit Restaurants zu sehen, was impliziert, dass sich das Hotel in dieser Lage befindet. Das war aber absolut nicht der Fall. Das Bild war sehr irreführend, weil wir etwas anderes erwartet haben.

Bonnes prestations pour une ou deux nuits

Nous n’avons passé qu’une seule nuit à Côme. La literie était bonne, la chambre propre, le petit déjeuner à volonté et copieux. Le seul inconvénient c’est que notre chambre donnait sur une avenue avec un feu tricolore juste devant et des gens qui passaient avec leurs valises à roulettes pour aller à la gare donc cela générait un peu de bruit. Mais pour une nuit cela ne nous a pas gêné, car l’hôtel était bien situé près de la gare et non loin du centre. De plus, on nous a gentiment gardé nos bagages à l’accueil de l’hôtel en attendant notre départ. Nous avons donc été plutôt satisfaits de notre séjour.

Hotel muito limpo e pessoas atenciosas. Chuveiro bem quente e banheiro limpo. Cafe da manha com opções bacanas e bem saborosas. A localizão é otima e muito perto da estação de trem.
