My room was clean. The air conditioning was switched off by the hotel, so i could inly open my window.
The breakfast area was very crowded. It was due to a tour group eating early, so i had to delay eating until the group left.
Como's bus system is a bit confusing. Not all busses go to Como San Giovanni, so if you have luggage, it may be better to take a taxi for a reasonable price.

Stayed here when our train was cancelled purely because it was cheap and close to the train station. It’s cheap, but below average. The rooms are bare, the bathrooms are extremely old and it all feels like it’s a bit dilapidated. Stay here for the station, but not for a holiday.

The breakfast was continental with lots of pastries and sweet treats. Nice bright room and nice selection of hot drinks. The room was a bit dated but location great, bag storage on last day was really helpful and staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was huge nice towels and lovely smelling shower and hand gel.

Great value hotel... I've styed at this hotel three times now and always found it a pleasant place to stay... The hotel staff are friendly, and they have lots of different size rooms to accommodate all styles of travellers... as a solo traveller they have a number of single rooms at great prices... the larger San Giavanni train station is approx' 5-10 minutes walk, and the smaller Como Lago train station, and the centre of town, is about 10-15 minutes walk away... all in all, good value.

The staff were excellent and very helpful. The hotel is very outdated and the rooms very small. The shower is very small and you cannot move around safely. Although our stay was reasonable there were nicer hotels located closer to the lake costing only a fraction more. Not my type of hotel.

The location of the hotel to the center is about 15-20 minutes walk. There is a paid garage but you need to make a reservation (and it was less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel but it was safe). The room was ok as we had 3 single beds, bathroom was spacious and newly done (there are no hooks to hang the towels). Clean beds and towels.

We didn’t unpack. We immediately left. Hotel made us pay for 2 rrooms for 2 nights- even though we didn’t stay there for a half hour! Rude front desk staff. Rooms didn’t have room for our 2 suitcases. Don’t recommend this place. We paid. We wanted out of there as soon as possible.

Hotel Park Meublè is an 8 minute walk (on cobblestone) from the Como San Giovanni train station. Clearly an ‘older’ hotel but nice and perfectly clean and suitable for our 2-night stay in Lake Como. Sarah at the front desk was very friendly during our check-in and provided a lot of help in navigating the area for our visit.
Rooms have more of a ‘60’s dorm vibe’ and yes, the shower is incredibly small, but all things considered, it was nice. Very happy with the location near the lake on the edge of town. Priced well below other local hotels and I think this is because the whole hotel, but particularly the rooms, are in need of refurbishment and are quite dated. However, the room was clean and functional and so for a one night stay, not really a problem. The staff were all really friendly and they unexpectedly had on-site EV charger at a really good price. Absolutely no issues with this hotel and when it gets the refurb, I am sure the prices will double.

This is a great family-run hotel, close to everything you need in Como at a fraction of what others are charging. I stayed 2 nights, enjoyed the breakfast, and was able to visit everything I needed within 10 minutes walk - restaurants, shops, and ferry - as well as the train station which is super convenient. Enjoyed stay at Park Hotel Meuble Como, very clean room and common areas. Short walk to cafes, restaurants, Como city center, and boat tour docks. Relatively close to train station Como S. Giovanni, but a little difficult to walk with luggage though. Did not partake in the breakfast since it is not complementary, but Bakery Cafe close by is an excellent 2nd option for breakfast. Do recommend the hotel for being affordable and in a great location.

We left this hotel after one day to move to the Hilton. This hotel should have 2 stars, not 3. The hotel is on a loud busy street. Good luck parking to check in. The rooms are cramped. The beds are uncomfortable. The free breakfast is a joke. The paid parking is out of a nightmare. The staff is pleasant and seems to try, but this is not a hotel for those that expect a good Lake Como experience. The only virtue is the price.

The Park Hotel is an older (seventies?) style building that has been renovated well. If you’re looking to stay in Como there are other options closer to the town centre. The advantage this hotel has it that it is a short walk to the train station.

We had a great stay here! It was a last minute decision as our accomodation in Cadenabbia (opposite Bellagio) for our first two nights in the Como area was terrible. We made a choice to move hotels and this one ticked all the boxes. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable even though a little small. This is a decent hotel for the price. While Como SanGiovanni is closer, Como Lago is also within walking distance. Ferries, funicular, everything is within walking distance.

The location is great because it is just about a 10-15 min walk from the train station and the dock for the boats is just a 10-15 min walk from the hotel. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The hotel is plain and the pillows are hard. The air-conditioning system is very old and we could to figure it out and fortunately it was a cool evening so we slept with the windows open. It appears to be in the 70's era.
It is definitely not fancy but it served the purpose for us. There was a full breakfast in the morning and the coffee was excellent.
