First of all, we were not aware that this property - all rooms are motel style- drive up & have an exterior access room. The locks and safety did not look seem very stable. We asked to look at the room & it was bad. if you walked by the window or first glance it did not look terrible but once you went in & had a closer look it was BAD! the desk chair had dirty crusted \"stuff\" all over the seat and back, the comforters had stains! the other sitting chair had fading, stains, food on it also. the floor looked like it had recently been replaced however there was a big piece missing where 2 boards met in main walking part. the bathroom was the worst - toilet was not clean, shower had alot of mildew/mold, under the sink: if you were to sit on toilet you seen holes in drywall, pipes exposes & dangling, the corners of room /vanity were caked with alot of dirt, dust, etc? the closet door bottom was rusted, fridge door was dirty, etc, etc. the evening staff lady at the desk however was understanding when we instantly came back & told her we could not stay -& reported the some of the problems. she found a way to refund what i had already paid to expedia.

Location is in a very busy part of city. Wasn’t expecting two floors of carrying four suitcases up to second floor without an elevator. It is an older motor lodge type building which was unexpected. Overall it was well worth the money due to the transport to the port.

No elevator for the detached building was an issue for luggage.
Floor was dirty in the room that turned my son's bare feet black.
Some of the electrical and usb outlets or adapters were not working and had to move cords around to charge things.
Shuttle to the cruise port was good ($10 per person) but worth it.

Basic Motel, still thought it was a bit pricey for what you got. Not much more than a Red Roof Inn. Beds were terrible, somehow our do not disturb sign vanished from the door so we got maids banging on the door. Then when we said no thank you, we never saw them the rest of the stay. Small room, even for 3 people. Would be perfect for a contractor looking for a cheap bed for the night while passing through. Not great for a family, or ANYONE staying more than 1 night.

I feel the description of breakfast buffet should be continental breakfast. Eggs I believe were the powder eggs not eggs cooked. Also they stop serving at 9. People on vacation tend to sleep in. Why not extend it to atleast 10.

Room was ok, but the AC stopped cooling in the middle of the night. Room became warm and stuffy. Also 4 pillows would be great, three for two people is odd.

We selected this hotel because we had a concert to attend. Several in our party called to confirm the shuttle service. We booked two rooms. I was told at check in that it runs every hour until 1. Once the concert was over we went to wait for the shuttle. After waiting and then calling we were told they stop mid day. Thank goodness for uber but the extra cost wasn't expected.

The staff was great and kind. It was a quick check in as well. However… I’m not one to complain… and I’m not. However the breakfast location was more of a nook… it was so small for how many rooms there are. They allow people to keep their cars there for cruises so the parking is crazy full with very small slots. Finally the water temp in shower was terrible. I still felt like I had soap and shampoo on me even after showering. Otherwise the bed was comfy.

I had a late night check in about 9:30 PM and it could not have been more smooth. I am so happy with the way that it went. Is a super long travel day. I walked in and handed them my card ID to use the bathroom I’ll be right back, and it was all done when I returned. I loved that. I wanted to go to bed.

The bathrooms are clean, the AC worked well, and I was very aesthetically pleased with the property.

I didn’t take advantage of the breakfast, so I’m not sure, and parking was a little tricky, but my hours are very wonky. I was in town with an artist performing at the arena down the road, so I didn’t get back till about 2 AM. I called and the guy at the front desk led me to a parking spot. That was a little tricky to find, but my car was secure.

The hotel website claims to have a shuttle from the Tampa airport to the hotel. This information is NOT accurate; there is no shuttle. Reception staff simply shrugged their shoulders when questioned about this. Sure, they can't fix it but customer service suggests they at least acknowledge the problem and say they will let management know about it.
One room smelled of urine--help!
The microwave and safe did not work.
Find an alternate hotel!

The staff was very polite, and always eager to help when asked. Check in and check out were a breeze. They do charge you on your day of arrival for one day if you choose to check in at property. They were supposed to call ahead, but said they forgot. Not a big deal, just wasn't made aware. The breakfast provided was wonderful, but Miss Linda made it better. Absolutely the best host. Our only real issue was the cleanliness of the rooms. It looks somewhat clean, butore like surface clean. It was apparent after our first night, after taking a shower, and unpacking, how disgusting the floors were. You can't tell just by looking, but your feet are quickly covered in black from them not being cleaned properly. We just wore our slides when walking around. Everything else was great. Good location, great price, and easy to get anywhere quickly.

Generally speaking, the hotel was fine. The rooms were not bad, bed was comfy enough, but the walls and around the AC were questionable. The real issue was Linda, who ran breakfast like a maximum security prison. We walked into her literally shouting at everyone- you couldn’t touch anything on the breakfast area without her scolding you, while SHE made the waffles and ran the waffle irons. Nobody asked her to do it, yet she stressed herself and everyone else out trying to remember who asked for what and griping at everyone about taking the food to go (because she’s literally yelling at 8 AM), telling people that kids only need half a waffle, that people need to sit down while we wait (again- nobody wanted to sit and be yelled at). I was literally BAFFLED. Everyone in the breakfast area was literally just speechless and borderline terrified. You truly cannot make this up. I chose this hotel specifically because of the breakfast but I would have paid triple to not have had to endure being quite literally BERATED by staff at a self serve breakfast. I have never seen anything like it. I will never come back here.

Nice location ,the receptionist didnt inform us where the rooms we have to go back and forth to the other building with the luggages not advisable they need to tell the exact location . But over all breakfast is amazing with Linda assistance special service .plus its closer to ihop for late arrival and closer to the port for cruise..This place is accessible.

Cheap clean place to stay before cruise. Very old property, sink leaked, barely any water pressure with the low flow showerhead they use. Bathroom towels and washcloths are very thin and you can tell they’ve been use for years without being replace.

It was very soft lumpy pillows were hard. Elevator was out of order.

When I booked this hotel prior to my early morning flight I figured how bad can it be? Air conditioner did not work properly staff was beyond rude and to add insult to injury I was charged $100 for incidental hold at a hotel where it is impossible to charge anything to your room. No restaurant no bar no anything when I asked why that is the case it was explained to me that they want to make sure there is no damage to the room prior to departure. That says it all about the clientele they are accustomed to and the type of establishment this is. Prior to leaving I had the front desk person inspect the room and was literally feeling blessed that I left without incident. Never again

A group of us were coming into town to leave the following day for a cruise. This hotel worked out well. I do have to say that calling it \"cruise port\" is a little misleading. It took about 25 minutes (driving through downtown) to get to the cruise port. But, we did not mind really. The rooms were clean, the grounds were nice, overall a great no-frills option. I have to, unfortunately, point out that while the breakfast was great the lady keeping things stocked and then cleaning up was not. She was the only rude staff member, but she was extremely rude to everyone and even yelled at a member of my group who was trapped and trying to tiptoe around where she was mopping. Hotel...above average. That one member of the staff...very poor.

The condition of the room was disappointing for the price I was charged along with an additional $100 for “incidentals”.
The air conditioning was a unit in the wall that was old and worked poorly. Smelled musty in the room. There were food or mold stains on the walls. Only positive factor, no bugs! Never again!
