This hotel was very good and very clean. Staff were super helpful. Only comment would be that although there was plenty of cold water supplied in room fridge, there were no glasses, not even a tooth mug and although there was hanging space there were no drawers or cupboards and hanging space was too short for dresses (we were staying for a wedding) and hangers were fixed so couldn't be moved where we would have been able to hang a dress

This hotel was FANTASTIC. Varese is a 50~ minute drive from Milan, but we were there for a wedding. Hotel is beautiful and check in was very easy. The rooms are nice with two entrances. Breakfast was great. Buffet style with typical breads, meats, eggs, and fruit. There is a spot for you to drink inside or outside with your party, which we were able to take advantage of until late into the night. Roadhouse restaurant within walking distance. Dedicated Parking spot was free and right in front of your room.

Unfortunately, we only spent one night here. Given how beautiful the room was, with a private parking space right outside the French doors, a fantastic breakfast and in a good location, I wish we had stayed longer.
The only downside was that there is only a limited availability of places to eat in a Sunday evening. In the event, we walked up the road to a very pleasant pizza/pasta place. However, if you do not like walking, take your car! We were told it was \"a few hundred metres\" up the road. Quite a lot of hundreds - in excess of 25! We attempted to get a taxi back. Nothing doing, it was Sunday!
Standard test - would I go again. Definitely.

Nice modern hotel at the outskirts of Veresa

Very clean rooms and good breakfast.
You can park your car next to your room.
The room does not provide any shelf space or only 2-3 hangers for cloths, so if you come for a few days take into consideration living out of your suitcase

Nice hotel at a convenient location

We stayed at Capolago hotel for 4 nights using it as a base for our trips to the various lakes around.
There is plenty of parking space and you could park the car next to the rear of your room thus getting convenient access to it.
The room were very clean and comfortable. The only thing we missed is there is no space to put your cloths and it forces you to live out of your suitcase. It is OK for 1 night stay for not for a few nights.
The breakfast was very good and the staff extremely polite.

Quiet and Comfortable Business Hotel

We stayed for 7 nights, attended business meeting at nearby locations. The surrounding area and views are beautiful. A bit far from the city centre (nearly 8km) and everything else, especially typical local Italian restaurant or café. The nearest restaurant (3 minutes walking distance) is a steak house and there is a supermarket about 10 minutes walking distance away.

The rooms are efficiently cleaned everyday and wide range of breakfast every morning.

Room large and overall clean, but smokers room. I was too tired to walk back and change rooms after 5 hour drive, just opened window and slept. Do hope this doesn't happen again. I will stay here again for location for business and milan airport.

A nice hotel with really convenient parking.

This hotel was very nice and was great for the price. The rooms are on the ground level and if your room is on the backside, you can bring your car up to the room for easy loading and unloading. There isn't much in walking distance, but the area is pretty and it is quiet.

The building is modern but showing signs of wear and tear. We arrived Sunday evening to be told no restaurant was available. Breakfast which we later were billed 8 euro each for was poor in that the \"hot\" food was cold and poorly presented. No mention of additional charges were made when be booked in. The bar facilities were limited and there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room. The building itself and location were what we expected the rest was a let down. I had hoped to return with a party of 20 later in the year this will now be relocated to an alternate hotel.

This hotel is very nice, it's definitely a great deal since you get more than your money's worth. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet is amazing, the staff is very friendly. The only con is that to get to and from you either have to have a car or a bike since there's not really much to to walking distance.

The guy at the reception didn't have the expedia reservation, it was found only when we checked out the room.
We had to leave our passports at the reception or wait (for a very long time) to get it.
We didn't get the room that we reserved and paid for.
I don't know if that was intentional or not.

The room was a regular room with a bunk bed, which is a disappointment.

New and clean hotel in a convenient location to serve as a base for a Star trip in the lakes district. Super friednly staff with good English and very positive attitude and willingness to help with advice on restaurants, attractions, etc. Rich breakfasts. Lots of parking. Room was a bit small for a family of two adults and two kids, and had no closet which we found very awkward. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Very convenient WiFi access throughout the hotel.

Walking distance to Lago Varese walking path

Nice hotel, excellent staff, and some interesting to excellent restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The only issue was temperature control. Will cool weather the heating system continued to work, and the room became very hot (27C) and the only way to cool it was open a window or door that ha access to the outside. Thus, minimized security.

Hotel was very well made. Upon check in we were given a room as requested. Disappointly we realized that the room aircon was not in working condition and when we asked the reception, we were told that its not working and they really can't help us. Actually we were asked to open the room windows to help cool the room. Inside room temp was sizzling 27 degrees. My kids were very uncomfortable and did not sleep well at all. We did not open the windows since we were at the ground floor and felt unsafe to keep the window open all night. In a nutshell, we had a horrible night. You at least expect the hotel management to fix the issue while it was not the case. Breakfast was average, with a simple offer of coffee and bread. Please call the hotel before checking in.

The hotel ambience was good bu not a 4 star hotel.. The issue is distance, yes it is 30 min drive from Malpensa airport or 45 min by train. However once u reach the nearest station to the hotel, there is no option but Taxi to reach the hotel (15EUR) and every trip back ad forth should be accounted for. Besides booking a taxi is a marathon by itself. The Station is not a safe place if you there anytime after 9p.m.

Hotel cleanliness and set up is great. Staff is very helpful, but cannot much if you don't knw to speak Italian. The restaurant is not operational other than breakfast. Unless you have plans to be in Varese, do not think its a right point to stay if you wanna go around Italy.

Arriving in the evening was a pleasant surprise thanks to the abundant lighting and spacious location.
Superb design both outside and inside.
Clean and bright.
All rooms on ground level with spacious corridors.
Breakfast OK.
No restaurant. But very closeby is an alternative for a simple beef-dinner altough not for those who prefer a quiet dining
At leaving one small administrative mistake that was solved quickly.
All in all our one night stay was more valuable than the price that was charged to us.

The Hotel Capolago - good area to tour the lakes

Very new hotel in good setting. Was certainly not a 4 star hotel, or would not be in any other country that I have visited. Wireless internet connection continually dropped out and even when we received a new log-in code there was no improvment. When the internet was connected it was very slow.
Neither the shower or basin drain worked properly. After we compained the shower water did drain but very slowly.
The rooms had no wardrobes or drawers for storage and we could only hang a few items above the minibar area.

Grosszügiges Zimmer, ruhig und sauber. Sehr gutes Frühstück und nettes Personal im ganzen Hotel. Praktisch die guten, kostenlosen Parkmöglichkeiten direkt auf dem Hotelgelände. Schade nur, dass die Ladesäulen nicht vom Hotel selber sind und man so keinen Support kriegt. Schafften es nicht, das Auto zu laden. War wieder wie die Male zu vor sehr gut. Grosszügiges Zimmer, ruhig und sauber. Sehr gutes Frühstück und nettes Personal im ganzen Hotel. Urlaub zum günstigen Preis

Bei der Ankunft des 4 Sterne-Hotel waren wir positiv überrascht über das Parkplatzangebot und die ruhige Lage. Das Hotelareal ist mit großen Grünflächen umgeben. Der Empfang bei der Ankunft und auch der Service waren sehr gut.
Schade fand ich, das die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig lässt. Speziell der Hotelausgang, müsste besser gepflegt werden, die 2 Sitzbänke aussen hatten unsaubere Auflage, Zigarettenkippen am Boden. Keine Mülleimer weit und breit. In den Steingefässen zur Entsorgung der Zigaretten wurden daher auch Hundebeutel entsorgt. Schade.
Auch das das Hotelmanagement in den riesen Garten keine feste und evtl. auch überdachte Sitzgelegenheit bzw. Tische platziert, ist sehr schade. So könnte man abends auch draußen sein Frühstück oder Abendessen genießen etc. Einige Tischchen und Stühle stehen im Gras. Frühstück ist gut und ausreichend, das Abendessen war gut, aber auf Nachfrage wird der Plan nir alle 3 Monate geändert. Schade. Preis-, Leistung ist stimmig. Ein Hotel für Jüngere (die ständig laut laufende Musik muss man mögen) und auch Hunde sind willkommen.

Grundsätzlich ist es ein neuwertiges und modernes Hotel. Was man wissen muss: es liegt weit außerhalb jeglicher Infrastruktur. Es gibt außer einem runtergekommenen Steakhaus nichts in der Nähe. Auch der See ist nicht fussläufig erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind modern, aber es gibt nicht einmal einen Schrank, keine Ablagen!!! Nur Haken an der Wand. Das Frühstück ist mittelmäßig.
Sauberkeit: Unser Zimmer war nicht grundlich gereinigt. Eine Nachtkommode war völlig verklebt, also nicht sauber gemacht. Im Bad lagen noch die leeren Flaschen Duschgel der Vorgänger. Nicht vergessen: wir haben immer noch Pandemie und erhöhte Hygieneanforderungen.
Kann das Hotel auf Grund der Lage und Erfahrung nicht empfehlen.

Wir waren für eine Nacht mit einem Kleinkind als Zwischenstopp auf unserer Reise in diesem Hotel. Dafür war es vollkommen ausreichend und das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Die Coronamaßnahmen wurde sehr gewissenhaft umgesetzt, dass man sich sicher gefühlt hat.
Wir würden wieder für eine Nacht kommen.

Tolles Hotel. Man kann sein Auto direkt vor der eigenen Balkontür parken - sehr praktisch zum Ein- und Ausladen. Alle waren sehr freundlich und qir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr schöne Empfangshalle mit Bar und Restaurant. Zimmer eher für Durchreise de geeignet. Es gibt keinen Schrank und wenig Ablagemöglichkeit im Zimmer. Für längeren Aufenthalt ungeeignet. Frühstück ist gut. War am Sonntag wegen Überfüllung eine Katastrophe. Personal war sehr engagiert.

Buona struttura a due passi dal lago

Bella struttura a due passi dal lago, camere spaziose, pulite e ben arredate, bagno con doccia super comodo. Personale gentilissimo e colazione varia e con prodotti di buona qualità. Unica pecca il ristorante, ho cenato una sera e mi ha particolarmente deluso, magari sono stato sfortunato. Nel complesso buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Prima hotel voor een overnachting als je op doorreis bent. Eenvoudig maar lekker eten en niet duur! Ontbijt ook prima.
Heerlijke kamer met airco, fijn bed en prima badkamer.

Besser nicht.

Es ist ein veraltetes Motel, schmutzige Teppiche, ekelig. Frühstück nur bis 10 Uhr. Bekamen danach nicht einmal einen Espresso oder Discount. Beim Bezahlen habe ich zumindest Wasser bekommen auf Verlangen.

Bon confort, personnel performant, parking sur place en vue directe, les petits oiseaux et les lapins dans la prairie :).
Chouette halte vers la France un peu à l'écart de l'autoroute.

Die beste Zeit hinter sich

Dieses Hotel hat die besten Tage längst hinter sich. Es gibt ein Restaurant im Hotel, dieses bietet jedoch nur eine sehr bescheidene Auswahl. Frühstück ist im Preis inbegriffen, das ist auch gut so, denn dafür würde ich nichts zahlen wollen. Das Personal ist freundlich, wenn auch nicht besonders hilfsbereit. Ich würde es nicht mehr buchen, die Zimmer sind alt und sehr abgewohnt. Es riecht sehr muffig und die Klimaanlage ist sehr laut.
