The staff here is really helpful. There aren't really any amenities but there is a front area, however I didn't use it. It's best quality was it was right across the street from the train station and we easy to find a ride into the peace Park area and made getting to Miyagima and Hiroshima station a breeze.

The hotel was only 5 mins walk from Yokogawa Station and central Hiroshima was easily accessible by tram or a 20min walk. Nice area with family mart, coco curry etc close by.

The room was spacious and clean and staff were welcoming.

My family and I of 4 (3 ad x 1 teen) stayed in a 1 bdr. Very affordable and clean. Own small fridge, TV, futons, aircon. No Tea/Coffee/jug supplied. Room made-up daily. Shared bathroom, private onsen. Tattoos ok, if you check with persons using baths at time if ok to get in. Has washing machine/dryer for cost and Bento breakfast about 500 yen p/p. Excellent location, easy to walk/bus/train to places.Staff limited English, but very willing to help with any enquiries.

We stayed 2 nights in a traditional Japanese room (with futon and tatami). Though the room was clean, there seemed to be a humidity issue. The Japanese bath (shared but separated between men and women) was very clean as well. This hotel was a very good starting point to go visit Hiroshima as it was near the train and tram station.

Very kind and helpful reception, good location

We spent 2 nights in this hotel. Were not sure what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. First there was a bakery near reception. Second, the reception staff were very nice and helped us with all questions of orientation.

Nice Staff, but VERY Disappointing Stay

I feel mixed leaving this review because the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. But after traveling, one would like to relax in a room... and we could not. Air conditioning was slow and antiquated, but it worked after a while. We had a bathroom in the room, and W.C. was really, REALLY small even for a Japanese standard (which toilet room is small to begin with). Be prepared to do your business with the door open. We looked forward to experiencing the traditional futon mattresses, but these mattresses were unforgiving to our backs the next morning - because they are flimsy; I grew up with one in Japan. Everything in the room just seemed - old. Fortunately shower worked well. Another infuriating situation was the lack of Internet. Even though they had advertised as having one, Beware: Internet is limited to 1-4th floors only. The hotel is located about 2.5 blocks from the Yokogawa Station, which we needed to transfer out of Hiroshima Station. At Yokogawa, there is really nothing to do there to kill the time. We spent the next morning at the Hiroshima Memorial, which is possible to go to using the famous cable car. Conveniently, there is a bakery at the entrance of the hotel. Internet works on the 1st floor, but the lack of Internet in my room really messed up my coordinating schedule with a friend in town - personally, I would never stay here again.

Not a good price/quality

The hotel was very old, and the rooms were very old as well. Lots of spots on the walls and holes on the ceiling. The price was definitely too high for what it was. The Internet works only on 3F, and only in the main area. For that kind of money you can find a lot better deal than this, I would recommend this hotel if it's only less than 40 bucks per night.

Slept on the floor on a mattress with covers. This type of sleeping may not suit everyone as you may wake up feeling the hard floor at times.

Decent but not anything special

Almost like a proper hotel, right away I was greeted by the concierge who wasn't the most friendly of people. The rooms are traditional Japanese with tatami but bunkbeds so you don't sleep on the floor. The beds are quite comfortable. Daily cleaning service, changing sheets everyday.
Other reviews and even the guest house say it is close to peacepark, which is true of you take the local tram, otherwise it would be like 15-30 minute walk to main centre of the city, which is a good walk but I wouldn't consider it close as other guesthouses in Hiroshima.
Overall a satisfactory stay, but there much more lively places

Stay in a dorm room but since it was during the week there was hardly anyone so I could enjoy more privacy.

good place

For the price, definitely worth it. everyone is so nice and helpful. It does cost like a dollar to use a towel and the lockers aren't too big, so if you bring big suitcases, expect to leave it in your room. But, I never felt my stuff was in any danger because they have security cameras on each floor (quite honestly, I never felt so safe leaving things around in a room full of strangers, Japan is very nice when it comes to safety of possessions). The beds are pretty nice and the only issue I really had was that the showers are small and the slippers were way too small. The location is right next to a station so you can travel anywhere from there. Definitely will stay here again next time I come.

Nice staff but an aged, less than pristine hotel

The hotel staff and manager were wonderful throughout our brief stay and very accomodating.
This is a once-graceful, if modest accomodation. The carpet was years past prime and in need of replacement. The ceiling in bathroom had not been cleaned (some moldy part that could make an \"X' in) and the underside of the cover of the valves for the soaking tub with slime.
While rate was reasonable for two, can, if make reservations far enough in advance, at well-rated places for a few thousand yen more, but will get a whole lot more.

駅がすぐ近くにあり広島駅まで2駅で行けてお土産を調達するのに便利でした。コインランドリーはちょっとパワー不足。結局生乾きなので旅行の途中でここを利用する時はランドリーは別の所が良いです。

シングル個室バス、トイレ付きに宿泊しました。とても快適で必要最低限が綺麗に詰まった部屋でした。居心地も良くもう1泊したいくらいでした。バスは浴室はなくシャワー室のみでした。前の道路は一方通行なのできをつけてください。

家族で和室に宿泊しました。
お風呂もトイレも広かったです。
歯ブラシ、カミソリ、タオル、バスタオル、シャンプー、リンス、ボディーソープがついていました。
寒い日でしたが暖房つければ暑いぐらい暖かくなりました。
近くに駅，コンビニあって便利でした。

従業員さんの感じもよく、なにより安いのでただ寝るだけならいいと思います。横川駅からかなり近いのも便利でした。朝食も美味しかった。お部屋は天井がボロくて壁も薄く、暗い雰囲気で怖くて落ち着かなかったけど、それは仕方ないもんなーと思いました。共同トイレ、大浴場は綺麗でした。

L'hôtel est situé juste en face d'une gare et par conséquent, les environs sont bruyants (j'entendais le train et les annonces de la gare depuis mon lit). Le personnel ne parle presque pas anglais et il est donc difficile de communiquer si l'on ne parle pas japonais. J'ai occupé un dortoir de 4 lits, la chambre était propre, les douches aussi. J'ai apprécié avoir une lampe, une ventilation, plusieurs prises et une tablette pour pouvoir écrire près du lit. Je disposais également un casier fermant à clef, suffisamment grand pour y ranger un sac de randonnée. La connexion wifi marchait bien dans la chambre.

Hiroshima är väl värt ett besök. Huvudsyfte är förstås minnesplatser kring atombomben, men staden är trevlig och det finns bra utflykter. Ön söder om Hiroshima, Mijo Jima? osäker på namnet, är absolut värt en utflykt

Très pratique pour un court séjour

Hôtel très bien placé niveau transport : à deux pas d'un tramway et d'une station JR (gare d'Hiroshima accessible en quelques stations) et sur la ligne menant à Miyajima.
Petit bain public accessible gratuitement sauf pour certains dortoirs (dont le mien, 500 yens requis).
Hotel très propre et personnel très serviable même s'ils ne parlent pas vraiment anglais.
A noter l'absence de sèche cheveux dans les douches normales et le fait qu'ils changent les draps tous les jours même si vous restez plusieurs nuits (j'ai eu le malheur de laisser traîner un haut blanc dans les draps blancs, il avait disparu le lendemain! Mais tout le personnel s'est mobilisé pour le retrouver)

pour une à deux nuits maximum

Séjour agréable sur deux nuits dans une chambre simple qui contient une grosse valise sans problème. En revanche les prises sont situées à l'autre bout de la chambre et donc impossibilité d'utiliser et de recharger son téléphone dans le lit.
De plus l'hôtel étant en rénovation, du bruit se fait entendre des le matin.
Possibilité de se restaurer dans le \"café\" en bas de l'hôtel mais je n'ai pas testé.

古いビジネスホテル。というか、ホステルより少しホテルに近いかな、という感じです。

コンサート終わりでの宿泊でした。チェックインが23時まで可能で助かりました。洗面、トイレ、浴室が共同利用で多少不便さはありましたが、立地もJR・バス・路電とどれも駅が近くて便利でした。値段と見合ってました。

便利だけど、最悪

特にスタッフの対応が最悪。
物腰は柔らかいのだが、チェックインの際に施設案内が不十分すぎる。
ドミトリーを利用したが部屋の使用方法についての説明は一切ない。ベッド位置についても説明なく、他の利用者に指摘されるまで違うベッドを利用していた。シャワー・トイレについても説明なく案内看板もなし。共同のキッチンルームは油とタバコの臭いがきつく使用する気になれず。
設備についても洗面台が男女共用で不便、コンセントもなくドライヤーかける場所に困った。
シャワー室も鏡もなく、着替えなどを置く場所もなく大変不便。
ベッドルームも清潔感なし。畳のホコリが気になる。エアコンが直接顔に当たり不快。

便利なのは横川駅から近いという点のみ。
