I came for the Peace Memorial Museum and Park, so the neighborhood was perfect, and convenient in other ways, such as restaurants. My walks were lovely and being near the river was charming. English speaking was a help to me, and they were helpful to hold my luggage after I checked out.

Everything was excellent. The only thing I thought inconvenient is their laundry: only two washers, two dryers, and shuts off at 11PM. But it's free (as well as soap), so I can't complain too much. Would stay again.

The hotel was easy to get to from the train station by bus or tram. Hotel room was small which is typical for Japan. It is modern and clean. The hotel uses keys rather than room cards.
The bathroom is small agin, but there are no hooks to hang your clothes. That should be addressed. The room has a kettle but they do not supply any tea or coffee. We had to buy our own. There is a small fridge to store milk etc. One annoying this is there is no bed reading lights. When you are sitting in bed at night, you don't always want the ceiling light on. For a new hotel it is an over sight. It has two washers and two driyers on the 2F, free for guest to use. However, there is only one lift. During peak times, you do need to wait longer than other hotels.
Overall we had a good stay. It is very close to the peace park and most tourist attractions. Everything is less than 15 mins away. There is also a boat service to take you to Miyajima Island by the river. Overall, it is a good hotel but with small changes it can be much better.

This was my first time visiting Hiroshima. My experience at this hotel was great! The staff were extremely Helpful and friendly. The room was clean and big for a single person! It's literally next to the Hondori which is a great place to shop and eat! It's also a 2 minute walk to the A-Bomb Dome, Peace Memorial Park. This is a great location to explore all the famous tourist locations in Hiroshima. Even the famous Hiroshima Castle! You can walk to the Hiroden train which is nearby! It will will take you Around Hiroshima City! I recommend this hotel if your planning to visit Hiroshima and save money!!! I plan to someday come back again! The Parkside Hotel is in a really great location for tourist activities. However the Hotel itself is quite old a bit grubby. The service was quite bad and we were very disappointed at how rudely we were treated after many weeks in Japan with the people being very lovely!

The one bonus was the size of the rooms, they were huge for Japan and as such made the stay much better.
The only negative was the laundry system, the drier didn't dry our clothes and they were taken out and dumped in a bag still wet through. So we had to continue our travels with a bag of wet clothes.
Overall the hotel was nice though.

A one-night stop over in Hiroshima, this was a perfect choice for a family with adult children. We booked three rooms due to great value pricing and were very close to the Peace Park and also to restaurant/entertainment area for dinner. We arrived early and were able to access 2/3 rooms so could safely store our luggage whilst starting to explore the Peace Park. We did not have breakfast as left early for our next destination.

This is a fair hotel for those wising to visit Hiroshima Peace Park and museum. There is also a boat nearby to the Island of Miyajima . Breakfast is available by a voucher bought from reception and is traditional Japanese.

Economy double room comes with a \"semi-double bed\" that is barely wider than a single bed. This made for a HORRIBLE sleeping experience for me and my 16 year old son.

This hotel was a great stay very close to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. The staff were quick and professional, and very patient with our limited Japanese language skills. The room was quiet and clean, and the location was great for both nearby restaurants and shopping, as well as the aforementioned Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. They even held our luggage for us after we checked out and went sightseeing. Overall, a great stay. The only possible negative is the relative distance from the train station. It's a walkable 20-30 minutes, or a quick taxi ride.

This was a nice little hotel near the Peace Park and Hondori shopping district. It's kind of in the back streets but easy to find. It's right beside the park so access is convenient. It's also near Hondori shopping district and many restaurants. Room size was ok and amenities were fine. As i remember there was free Wi-Fi in the room. Affordable and recommended mostly because of location.

Very central to the major sights in hiroshima. And close to the street car stops as well as the main mall. Takes around 20 minutes from the shinkansen station by streetcar.

Comfortable and Close
This is a great little hotel. Close to a lot of Hiroshima's historical sights and very comfortable. It was clean and relatively easy to find from the Hondori street car station. I suggest looking up to find the actual building, as there are very many hotels in that area, and the name is on the top of the hotel. Very quick walk to everything. I'd stay again.

Fantastic location in Hiroshima
Perfect location. A couple of minutes walk to atomic bomb dome and museum, and also a couple of minutes walk to the main shopping arcade and restaurants and bars. Reception staff could speak limited English , but they were very friendly and very helpful. The room wasn't the most modern, but it was clean and had a comfy bed. There is also 2 washing machines and 2 dryers on level 2 which are free for guests to use to do a load of washing which was very useful.
